Kidoku before hand had taken a shortcut of his own, since he is a Draco Nivis Soldier, he is granted access to all shortcuts around Frostvale, but he does know he have to act fast, using time to stop them in motion would be too much for him, even though he did improve in the Magic. Kidoku flew around sixty-six feet above them, looking like a bird in the sky, to those who know Kidoku on a personal level, more like a flying lizard, but that's an inside joke for a selected few.

Kidoku's eyes slit and locked on them, he beats his wings against the wind here and there in order to keep gliding, now that he is an Anguis, his responsiblities increase, and he spots Balder, but for now he needs to ignore him, he can't lose sight on a potential suspect, if they are suspects, he'll already have a vivid description on him or her anyways, he knows Friedrich's appearance since he had a good look at him, no homo tho' so finding him if anything off happens won't be too hard but the one behind the hood is the biggest issue here, if he IS a Belial Cultist, judging him from his shady appearance, then calling in other Nivis soldiers is a must.
