(mTw|syndereN|jD) Basically, what happened is that I stayed on the show to listen in and contribute if there was somehow something I could talk about
(mTw|syndereN|jD) During the HoN section, phil starts addressing me "you won the dota 2 tournament, right?" and then starts lashing out a bit at dota 2, making fun of how the viewer count of the tournament wasn't as high as HoN
(mTw|syndereN|jD) So he basically dragged me into the HoN part just to mock us
(mTw|syndereN|jD) I let that be for a while
(mTw|syndereN|jD) He said something more, I think, in relation to dota 2, also making fun of it
(mTw|syndereN|jD) All I did was give my take on the case after Darthozzan asked what our view was on the future of MOBA (or something like that)
(mTw|syndereN|jD) I took part in the discussion, saying that I found LoL and Dota 2 to go in each of their directions, both growing, while I saw HoN as stalling.
(mTw|syndereN|jD) I did in NO way flame the game, the community, ANYONE
(mTw|syndereN|jD) I only mentioned that I saw the scene as stalling, and that I found Trixi's transfer from the most successful HoN team of all time to a completely new team in Dota 2 was an omen of things to come
(mTw|syndereN|jD) (I could have dragged in the example of TSoG (Drayich's team) also transferring, but didn't catch it on the fly)
(mTw|syndereN|jD) All of a sudden people are butthurt and say that I was flaming and badmouthing and being bad mannered... I mean, what? I was answering the question that was being asked.
(mTw|syndereN|jD) I didn't even mock HoN in the same way as Phil mocked Dota 2
(mTw|syndereN|jD) If HoN wants to blame someone for what happened (which wasn't even that big of a deal), they can blame Phil for starting off "hostile" in the first place.
(mTw|syndereN|jD) Most likely I wouldn't have interfered at all if Phil hadn't started making this a battle.
(mTw|syndereN|jD) My 2 cents. Feel free to quote this on the HoN forums if you want. I do in no way disrespect, their community, or anything -- hell, I haven't even played the game, so I can't say anything about how good I find it in comparison to LoL or Dota 2. I just gave my view on the question as to what the state was on MOBA in general, and answered on the back of what I've seen happen and what I've heard.
