  1. “Another thing i shall let pass. anyways, I cannot stay here passing insults all sunlight. I have secrets to hear.” he passed a serious look and stood up “I will give you some advice. Join your Lady and goto the Arc. it is probably the safest place in Arramar.”.
  2. “Why would i leave Goldenhold? The King would hunt me down till the day i die.” Dayel questioned. He expected a quick reply and he was not disappointed.
  3. Lord Arran stirred “We fight this war, but i can guarantee it is not going to be a Victory, The King will be killed within a Month, the Dwarves are coming for him.”. “Lord Arran the King is a fool, but he won’t be killed without a fight.” Arran laughed under his breath “even If you don’t leave, the King won’t be able to leave the Capital. There are Wolf troops every mile from here to the Coast. I seriously suggest you think about leaving, Lady Killer and myself are leaving tonight.” Lord Dayel looked in surprise “Tonight?” he asked.
  4. Arran stood behind his own chair “Upon sundown he head to the Arc. with or without you. i seriously advice you join us should you want to see your wife again.” after a long glare he left.

  7.
  8. Lord Dayel pondered over Arran’s advice. he spent most of the Council’s session on the thought. The King attended the Session so this made the Lord slightly tense. After the prolonged Session the sky was shading purple. He spent much thought on leaving, he loved the King because he was his Brother. but as a King, He did not.
  9. Against his own will he began packing but a single bag. I must see Sallie again… he thought, Sallie some how seemed to be urging him to leave, his mind was playing he voice. Come to me my Darling… she said.
  10.
  11. He sat behind his desk with his eyes closed, thinking.
  12. The Door suddenly opened and a Guard rushed in. “My Lord!” he cried.
  13. Lord Dayel stood up in shock “What is it?” he quickly used his foot to hide his backed bag behind the desk.
  14. “The King! There is a Riot in the Throne room!” he cried.
  15. The Guard swiftly left but the Lord remained. He looked out the Window and saw the Dock. Here is my chance… he thought. “What is that bag?” a voice shouted.
  16. Lord Dayel nearly died of fright “My Lord!” Dayel bent his knee realising the voice was the Council Master standing right before him. “Are you leaving somewhere?” he asked in a serious tone.
  17. “No My Lord, i was nearly packing a few things my Lady had forgotten. I mean to send them on the morrow.“ he badly lied.
  18. The Master looked puzzled “I must inform the Guards, they will send it. you are required by the King.”.
  19. the Lord spluttered his words “But… But… Why would my Brother want me?”.
  20. The Master never really liked Lord Dayel, and turned to leave without reply.
  21. “You cannot go to the Guards Master!” Dayel shouted grabbing the Master on the arm.
  22. In a quick burst the Master yanked himself from the Lord shouting “How dare you touch me! I shall inform the King of your touching of the Master! It will be paid!”.
  23. He tried to leave but in the climax of the confrontation Lord Dayel threw the Master from the door and smashed him hard into his Desk.
  24. “Please Master! You cannot tell the King of my departure!” he quickly covered his mouth realising what he said.
  25. “You… You Traitor! Leaving without my consent!” the Master drew a small knife and lunged at the Lord who had already drawn his sword.
  26. “No!” the Master had accidentally lunged right into Dayel’s Sword and lodged himself into the Blade.
  27. he spat vomits of blood and slipped from the Blade onto the floor.
  28. Lord Dayel collapsed against the wall “What… have i done!” he whispered, he was shaking.
  29. Not thinking, he stumbled from the wall and clutched his packed bag. He looked at the dying Master collapsed on the floor unable to move “I knew you always favoured Daegar.” the Master’s eyes turned dead.
  30. With a moment of thought he climbed from his window down to the grass hill shortly below.
