[19:13:48] [Karsten] <@Kain> And you see a large, brightly lit building in the distance, that seems to have a bit of a halo of light around itself. Further in the distance is a ring-shaped city standing against the horizon.
[19:15:09] [Theta] Well, first thing's first, Theta leads the Chocobo to this halo'd building.
[19:15:26] [Theta] He doesn't dismount as they approach, watching the windows and doorway to this structure carefully
[19:18:51] [Karsten] This temple is a bit tallet than the Life Shrine - it might be more accurate to call this a small tower. A very tall, slanted staircase leads up into the structure, where you find a similar setup to the Life Shrine - the main room is one with a pool of energy in the middle, this glowing hot and orange like molten rock, but the heat that washes over you is gentle, like a hand on your face.
[19:18:51] [Karsten] There are no worshippers here, and the roof of the building is open. The halo of light seems to be coming out of the pool of energy itself.
[19:20:45] [Theta] Theta dismounts and pats the bird to stay as he approaches the pool.  He doesn't want to miss anything that might be hiding or lurking here.
[19:21:39] [Karsten] The room is quite brightly lit - you're very sure no one's waiting in ambush.
[19:21:44] [Karsten] Seems like you're the only one here.
[19:23:18] [Theta] He sighs with relief and returns to the bird, pressing on to the circular city.

[19:25:07] [Karsten] You can see unusually well from the top of the stairs - your sight is quite a bit enhanced actually. There is a small group of four approaching from the west towards the shrine. They seem to be about an hour away - plenty of time for you to go to the city and return here if need be, but perhaps something pression.

[19:29:22] [Karsten] You come to the borders of the large, ring-shaped city, Tir na Dam. The inside of the ring is decorated with an intricate balance of residential structures, giving the city the look and feel of a gigantic dreamcatcher.
[19:31:32] [Karsten] You notice that quite a few people are woken up and are at the ground level when you arrive. They seem to have their things packed and are waiting, a bit on edge, as a few others are helping to direct them. You notice a couple of mage girls hanging around, and Adenine in particular is working with another life shaman - a dark-skinned elf with long, brown hair and floppy ears. The life shaman

[19:36:09] [Karsten] The life shaman bows her head. "We are blessed to have you here, honored savior. The people are scared and confused, but we have attempted to ease their burdens as we prepare to move south to Tir na Antae."
[19:37:02] [Karsten] Adenine: "Hey, hon. Things are going well enough, yes. We're in the midst of evacuation."
[19:39:48] [Theta] He seems a bit sheepish about the 'savior' bit, but nods. "Good to hear.  I'm glad everything went smoothly here - though...I might have some bad news."
[19:41:31] [Theta] "The short of it is, we were able to make contact with your King, and he and the capital are fine for now.  I'm sure Adenine filled you in on the biggest details concerning the situation here."
[19:42:45] [Theta] "But not long ago, while we were escorting two of the other Life Shamans to the Shrine of Life, we found a fiend already lurking there to keep others out.  We dealt with it, but I felt it was alarming enough to make sure the Shrine of the Sun was fine.  It is for now, but four individuals are approaching from the distance.  They'll arrive at it within the hour."

[19:47:41] [Karsten] The shaman nods. "It is no problem, my lord. My name is Katriene, and I am fully at your disposal should you need me. That does sound worrying... I apologize but I do not think we have any warriors we could lend to aid to the defense of the shrine..."

[19:50:47] [Karsten] Adenine: "Should we move to intercept?"
[19:52:48] [Theta] "It's a pleasure to meet you, Katriene.  It's quite alright.  The girls and myself are more than capable of securing it, yes." He nods to Adenine.  "If you wish we could head back immediately.  Maybe bring one or two of the others along as well?  I would prefer for some to stay behind with the families here, since this might hold up the evacuation..."

[19:55:39] [Theta] Easy enough then - Theta fetches the two of them and asks Vivian to assist Katriene while Adenine, Luna and himself secure the sun shrine.

[20:01:44] [Theta] "That might be less an issue than you think, but certainly isn't something we should do while split up.  Let's get Luna, and the three of us will head over to make sure it's safe before coming back, alright?"

[20:06:08] [Karsten] You grab Luna from where she's proving entertainment overcomes language barriers with a bit of a singing show to help calm nerves - she gladly accompanies you back down south to the sun shrine.

Pure yellow eyes burn in his head, and what looks like scar tissue covers his heart. His chest is bare and he seems to carry no obvious weapons.

[22:24:19] [Theta] He concentrates and before long glowy sunsprites are at work on the issue.  "Well...outside of this, I guess we should probably get them away from here as soon as we can.  The heroes showed up finally, so once they get to the southern city they'll be safe."

[22:27:15] [Karsten] Adenine looks over her shoulder, frowning, and then back at Theta. "By the way, be careful of that one. I think some of their Life Shamans are like, sacred prostitutes or something. Sex, reproduction, healing, it's all in their domain apparently."
[22:27:47] [Theta] "Thanks again for your help though, you two." He pats Luna on the shoulder and kisses Adenine.  When she says that though he gets sort of confused.

What you and I and Elizabeth have set up isn't uncommon here at all. It's only the shamans - excluding the Life Shamans - who are forbidden from indulging themselves. The way their markets are set up differently. They have a different idea of ettiquete altogether."

It's just... don't worry about it, I'll cope. Yeah, we'll go along with them for now and teleport over if things look serious."

[22:52:10] [Karsten] The shamans have put the adamantine elf on a metal cart to be pulled by chocobos - the stretcher wasn't nearly going to be enough.
[22:52:17] [Theta] "Well the upside is she hasn't worshiped me yet.  But fine by me," he makes sure the tiara is safe in his coat and heads along to help lead this caravan down the coast.
