The Cookie

>You are an earth fluffy with blue fluff and a purple mane.
>You are truddling behind your daddy who is walking into the kitchen.
>”Daddeh! Daddeh! Fwuffy wan huggies daddeh! Gif bestest huggie daddeh!”
>He turns and looks down at you, “My little girl wants a hug? Well I guess I better hug you then.”
>He bends down and picks you up giving you bestest and biggest hug ever given!
>You try to hug back but daddy’s chest is too big.
>You are about to tell him how much you love him when your eye catches something on the table.
>It is a cookie.
>It glows at you from the pristine white table top.
>It is a vanilla round cookie with chocolate stripes across it.
>Your mouth starts to water.
>Cookies are almost as good as daddy hugs.
>Your face lights up as you get an idea.
>Maybe daddy will let you have the cookie!
>You look up at him, “Daddeh… fwuffy wan-“
>Hid cell phone rings.
>He puts you down and pulls it out and looks at it.
>He looks at you, “Sorry champ but daddy has to take this.”
>He walks away talking on his cell phone leaving you on the floor.
>Looking up at the table.
>”Hewwo! Cookeh! Fwuffy wan nom! Pwease come fwuffy!”
>The cookie defiantly does not answer.
>”Pwease! Fwuffy am gud fwuffy!”
>You get under the table and lean your head up opening your mouth.
>Surely the cookie will come down since you are a good fluffy.
>This is not right.
>The cookie is not falling into your mouth.
>You huff confused.
>You are a good fluffy.
>Why is the cookie not coming down like you asked?
>Well, there is only one thing to do.
>You start to try and jump onto the table.
>Since you can only get about an inch off the ground you get nowhere close to the top.
>You get angry at the table and decide to give it some sorries!
>You waddle to one of the legs and give a good boop.
>”Owies!”
>You sit back whining and try to cuddle your hurt hoofie while sniffling a bit.
>You finally get back up and look back at the table.
>You see a stool next to it.
>Of course! You can just climb up on the table!
>The silly cookie probably thought you were going to do that anyway.
>That is why it did not fall into your mouth.
>You truddle to the chair with a big smile on your face and leap up to one of the bottom rungs.
>The stool has rollers on its base though and it starts to roll away from the table.
>You kick your feet but you are now dangling and cannot touch the floor.
>”Nuuu! Pwease misteh sittt pwace! Need ge’ nummie!”
>But the meanie stool does not listen and continues to roll.
>Your front hooves give out and you drop to the ground.
>You watch in horror as the stool rolls even further away from the table stopping next to the counter.
>”Nuuu! Fwuffy nee sitty pwace fo nummie!”
>The stool sits there and ignores you.
>You start to panic.
>The cookie might run away!
>You truddle back to the table and start yelling up.
>”Pwease cookeh! Fwuffy nuu cwimb up! Yoo come fwuffy!”
>You sit there with your mouth open looking up.
>The cookie still isn’t coming down!
>You run in place looking around.
>You look at the stool again.
>Maybe you can push it back.
>You twaddle quickly over to it.
>You don’t want tolose the cookie!
>You get to it and shove it toward the table.
>It rolls!
>This is going to be easy!
>You push it to the table ramming it into it.
>The bottom goes under the table causing the stool to start tipping.
>You step back and yell up, “Pwease be der cookeh! Fwuffy come fo yoo!”
>You sit down and wiggle your but getting ready to jump again.
>You give a mighty leap just as the stool falls.
>You yell in despair as the rung moves away from you.
>The stool falls down landing with its legs on either side of you as you go sailing through the bottom.
>You hit the floor and slide on your belly.
>You quickly get up and look behind you at the stool now laying on its side.
>Hey! Wait a minute!
>The rung is closer to the table now!
>A smile crosses your face as you start to bound to the wooden beam.
>”Wai’ fo fwuffy cookeh! Fwuffy come fo yoo!”
>You jump and grab at the rung and start to loop around it.
>”Whaaa! Whaa! Whaa!”
>You lose your grip and go flipping under the table.
>”Whaaaaaaaa-umph!”
>You land on your back.
>Your fluff cushions the fall.
>You slid to a stop looking up at the table’s edge.
>It’s no use…
>The cookie has probably gone.
>It could not wait this long for you to get to it.
>Your bottom lip starts to quiver.
>”Wahhhhh! Fwuffy am sowwy cookeh! Pwease come back fo fwuffy! Wahhhhhhh!”
>You hear stomping and look up through tear blurred eyes.
>You see your daddy running toward you.
>”I heard a crash! Are you alright!?”
>”Daddeh! Wahhhhh! Nee huggies daddeh! Wahhhhh!”
>He grabs you up and cradles you, “I am so sorry princess! Daddy shouldn’t have left you alone.”
>You cuddle next to his chest and whimper.
>”Hey… will this cheer my little girl up?”
>You slowly look up at him.
>He’s holding the cookie!
>”You start smiling again waving your hoofies at the treat.
>”Yay! Nummies! Pwease gif cookeh daddeh! Pwease! Fwuffy am gud fwuffy!”
>He gives you the cookies which you grab up in your front hooves and start to eat.

>You look at your daddy and smile with cookie crumbs falling from the sides of your mouth.
>”Fwuffy wub yoo daddeh.”
>You turn back to the bestest cookie in the world.
