  1. [12:50:04] [@Kain] Ammy, you're taken in the Athenaeum Stray towards Lindblum. Noah brings the ship rather close to a quaint little theater ship putting around above the Business District, As you get close, a mechanical bridge extends from the Cascading Dawn over to your side, allowing you entrance on to the ship. Noah has to stay on the Stray, himself, but it seems you can head in without any difficulties.
  2. [12:50:45] * Amaryllis is actually going to approach Tantalus first before doing this, because she has an idea of how she wants to frame this that might get Polly more interested.
  3. [12:51:17] [@Amaryllis] Probably finding time to schedule a meeting with Baku.
  4. [12:54:11] [@Kain] Please mention something like that before the opening statements next time then :<
  5. [12:54:19] [@Amaryllis] Sorry. :<
  6. [12:54:32] [@Kain] You -actually- head over to the Tantalus hideout to chat with Baku.
  7. [12:54:56] [@Kain] The tapir-man is sitting on a couch tossing darts at the wall. No, not the dartboard, the wall. Or at least it seems like it, with how bad he's aiming.
  8. [12:55:53] [@Kain] Baku: "Bahh, guess my aim's a little off today. Well, if it ain't Ms. Greeny herself. Come on in, have a seat, gwahaha!"
  9. [12:56:25] [@Amaryllis] "Baku. Greetings." Ammy shuffles over and takes a seat opposite him. "Keeping safe, I hope? You seem awfully laid back given the threats made against you and the others."
  10. [12:57:05] [@Kain] Baku: "Pssh. They haven't been the first and they won't be the last. 'sides, Tantalus knows how to take care of themselves. 'ppreciate your worry, though."
  11. [12:58:30] [@Amaryllis] "The good news is we know who most of the Gluton's lieutenants are, and Theta and I both found leads on the last - but I need some help looking into one of them."
  12. [12:59:11] [@Amaryllis] "Do you know Polly Pollendina, and does Tantalus use any of her inventions in performances?"
  13. [13:02:27] [@Kain] Baku: "Pollendina... I know some of their lot are in good with the Regent, but..." he thinks a moment. "Oh yeah! Polly. She helped design the Prima Vista II."
  14. [13:02:51] [@Kain] Baku: "Odd chick. You think she's involved in this mess?"
  15. [13:04:01] [@Amaryllis] "Perhaps. We know the Glutton has connections in Esto Gaza, Madain Sari, and here in Lindblum. The last lieutenant we're looking for is an affluent inventor, probably human."
  16. [13:04:47] [@Amaryllis] "Esto Gaza is right out, and we have a lead we are pursuing in Madain Sari, but as far as Lindblum goes, Polly is our best lead. She also apparently designed Ayane's airship."
  17. [13:05:17] [@Kain] Baku: "Yer lookin' for an inventor in Lindblum? HEY, CINNA! RUN OUT TO DALI FOR ME AND GET THE NEEDLE OUT OF THE HAYSTACK!" he calls over. Cinna looks over, perplexed, while Baku laughs to himself, before taking you a bit more seriously. "Huh, I see."
  18. [13:06:01] [@Kain] Baku: "Well, what do you need -us- to do, exactly?"
  19. [13:07:33] [@Amaryllis] "I plan to pose as someone taking a personal interest in Polly's work so I can take a closer look into what she does."
  20. [13:08:39] [@Amaryllis] "I am the last of a noble house in Lindblum, one ruined financially by Regent Cid's invention of the steam engine and seeking to recover the House's fortunes with what's left. Perhaps looking to be a patron to a skilled inventor, or a partner, or to make an investment."
  21. [13:09:10] [@Amaryllis] "...most of that is true, but that is beside the point. If I can tell her I am working in a partnership with Tantalus in the theatre industry, my guise will have more credibility."
  22. [13:10:01] [@Amaryllis] "Or if you were to offer a letter of introduction and an easy answer to how I found her despite her reclusiveness. Both would help decrease suspicions in the event she actually is one of the Glutton's lieutenants."
  23. [13:11:04] [@Kain] Baku: "Gotcha, gotcha. Arright, I'll be glad to. Hold yer chocobos and I'll get somethin' written up."
  24. [13:11:23] [@Kain] Baku gets up and heads over to a writing desk, and quickly begins to put together this letter of introduction for you.
  25. [13:12:27] [@Amaryllis] "Many thanks, Baku." Ammy patiently waits.
  26. [13:15:32] [@Kain] He slips you an envelope after a minute. "There you go. Good luck with getting to the bottom of this, And if you see Eiko, give us our well wishes, arright? Everything's too locked down for visits."
  27. [13:16:35] * Amaryllis takes the letter. "Even for you? I wonder if the Regent would even let me visit in that case. I shall send her your regards if I manage, however."
  28. [13:17:01] [@Amaryllis] "Thanks, and a good day to you, Baku." Ammy nods at him and makes her way out of the hideout.
  29. [13:22:40] [@Amaryllis] And I guess if Baku doesn't have anything more to say, Ammy will go along to Polly's airship. How DOES Crystal feel about tagging along?
  30. [13:24:49] [@Kain] Baku: "He's bein' real careful, so he might not." he shrugs.
  31. [13:25:11] [@Kain] Crystal... has no objections if Theta doesn't! So she's slipped along behind you for now, most likely.
  32. [13:26:23] * Amaryllis has given Crystal a description of what the clay broken Ragnarok statue would look like and asked her to keep an eye out for something like that, as well as anything else that may tie Polly to the Glutton.
  33. [13:27:17] [@Kain] Baku gives you directions to Polly's ship, an almost constantly airborne vessel that's currently over the business district.
  34. [13:27:31] [@Kain] <@Kain> Ammy, you're taken in the Athenaeum Stray towards Lindblum. Noah brings the ship rather close to a quaint little theater ship putting around above the Business District, As you get close, a mechanical bridge extends from the Cascading Dawn over to your side, allowing you entrance on to the ship. Noah has to stay on the Stray, himself, but it seems you can head in without any
  35. [13:27:31] [@Kain] difficulties.
  36. [13:28:34] * Amaryllis shuffles across the bridge to the ship with a bow toward whoever is there to greet her, or a knock on the door if the bridge is leading into the ship and not onto the deck.
  37. [13:30:42] [@Kain] The door sort of just opens automatically. Or at least, it seems to at first. You're soon greeted by two shuffling, shaking automatons that come up to your knees. They seem to be a whir of motors and limbs, possessing no real intelligence, and quickly move to clean the entrance room you walk into. You might wonder briefly the origin of these things and why Polly isn't more famous if she
  38. [13:30:42] [@Kain] invented things like this, but that's not a question for here or there.
  39. [13:31:02] [@Kain] There's clearly no actual life here to greet you, but you hear a bit of singing from below deck, around where you think the engine room would be.
  40. [13:32:44] * Amaryllis makes her way slowly down toward the deck, taking the path that would afford her the greatest opportunity to look around, just taking in the strange inventions and surroundings. Her lantern dangles, unlit, at her side, with chocochick in his usual perch atop it.
  41. [13:35:14] [@Amaryllis] er, down toward the engine room :B
  42. [13:41:49] [@Kain] You descend the stairs, into the engine room, where another few of the automatons are whirring around. As your footsteps get closer, a head pops over a mass of disassembled engine parts. There's a woman there, late twenties, with bright white hair and green eyes. A lit hand-rolled cigarette is hanging out of her mouth and she has a bit of a dumb expression on her face. She hops up, leaning
  43. [13:41:49] [@Kain] forward on one foot and examining you. "Heyoo, who're you? You're not a regular... and that must mean you're -irregular-. I can't be having strange people on my ship, so you better introduce yourself quick-like, see, before I have you tossed off the side~"
  44. [13:44:35] [@Amaryllis] "Amaryllis, last of the Aitchison House here in Lindblum." Ammy bows her head as she introduces herself. "The House has seen better days, and I seek to rebuild its fortunes. I have been speaking with Tantalus about this, and they recommended I approach you." She hands over the envelope.
  45. [13:59:20] [@Kain] Polly srses up a bit. "Oooh, think our families mighta known 'chother back in the day." she takes the letter and reads over it. "Heavens, you're in good graces with Tantalus? They're the best actors on the continent! Sheeet, you didn't even let me roll out the red carpet! I designed their airship, y'know! So what can I do for ya." she ushers you out of the engine room and up to the dining
  46. [13:59:20] [@Kain] room where she immediately starts setting out shot glasses and a bottle of whiskey. "Pardon, s'all I got." she says, sitting in a chair nearby in her dirty working clothes, and throws her boots up onto the table. She takes her cigarette out of her mouth for a moment and grins over. "Well, I don't got all day, Itchy~"
  47. [14:02:10] [@Amaryllis] "I'm really quite alright." Ammy flashes her flask with a good natured laugh. "You seem like the busy type who needs that whiskey to unwind, so you should hang onto it if you haven't much of the stuff left. Next time I visit I should bring you some wine from the House cellar." Ammy mentally kicks herself for not thinking of that sooner.
  48. [14:04:22] * Amaryllis takes a good look around the hall as she's led up and the dining room as she arrives, still keeping alert for anything of interest, especially if it may have a connection with the Glutton. "I suppose with how well off you are and the shabby state of the House's affairs, it would be a bit presumptuous to offer to be a patron for your inventions. But you have fascinating devices here," Ammy gestures to one of the automations if it's around, "and I have to wonder why you are not more well known."
  49. [14:04:33] [@Amaryllis] (that might've cut off. tell me if it did D:)
  50. [14:05:01] [Lenore] (ended at "automations")
  51. [14:05:51] [@Amaryllis] automations if it's around, "and I have to wonder why you are not more well known."
  52. [14:05:53] [@Amaryllis] (thanks Aori)
  53. [14:09:51] [@Kain] The place seems to be similar to the Stray in that the dining hall is straight up from the engine rooms. The dining hall at least is expensively furnished with intricately painted china with magnetic plates on the botton, all sticking together firmly on the metal cabinet. You notice a bit after you mention the whiskey that she actually has a full liquor cabinet absolutely full of the same
  54. [14:09:51] [@Kain] kind of whiskey.
  55. [14:11:20] * Amaryllis pauses after her statement then to stare at the cabinet. "...You know, I would not be surprised if our families were acquainted after all. We share so much in common."
  56. [14:11:58] [@Kain] She looks a bit confused. "What, the Sprockets?" She looks down as one stutters by, spewing steam. "Naw they're nothin' special, I just made'em to clean up after me cuz I'm so disorganized sometimes. I was thinkin' about making a line to help out with stage prep, but they're so bad at the delicate work. Don't make one wash the china, trust me."
  57. [14:13:25] [@Amaryllis] "Nonetheless, it would save a household so much labor to have even one of those. Well, regardless, you mentioned you had regulars? How do people tend to find you to do business, floating up here like this? I would never have known you were here had Baku not made the recommendation."
  58. [14:13:30] [@Kain] "But if you're interested in my works..." she takes a drag thoughtfully. "I dunno, you seem enthusiastic, maybe I'll let you put some things through QA for me, huh?"
  59. [14:14:55] [@Amaryllis] "Through QA? That sounds like it may be a bit of an adventure."
  60. [14:14:55] [@Kain] She kind of waves dismissively at that. "People know where I am 'cuz they're regulars, and they're regulars 'cuz they come by a lot. Simple, right?" You're not sure how that answers the question.
  61. [14:15:41] [@Amaryllis] "How did Tantalus find you then?" Ammy scratches her head, appearing as puzzled as she can. "I don't often see airships coming just to idly float next to yours."
  62. [14:16:02] [@Kain] "Life any fun without adventure? Is -any- good story? NOPE. 'sides, if you want to get back on your feet, I might actually pay for the help, too."
  63. [14:17:49] [@Amaryllis] "Tell me more then." Ammy lets her gaze follow one of the Sprockets around. She's hoping either Crystal's had better luck finding anything suspicious or that there -isn't- anything suspicious to find.
  64. [14:18:34] [@Amaryllis] "I can certainly say after we lost most of our fortunes due to failing to invest in new technology that I certainly have no desire to repeat that mistake."
  65. [14:22:05] [@Kain] "Psssh I'm not asking you to invest, girl. I'm just seein' if you're interested in trying out some of my stuff before it hits the market. Help work out the kinks." she pours a shot of whiskey and downs it. "As for Tantalus... wellll it's more like I found them, really. ...okay, I found them after a performance and got on my hands and knees and begged them to let me design them a new ship!"
  66. [14:23:20] [Theta] (I can just imagine Baku's response.)
  67. [14:23:24] [Theta] (EH, SURE. GWHAHAHAHAHA)
  68. [14:25:23] [@Kain] She laughs sort of nervously.
  69. [14:25:40] * Amaryllis chuckles. "You find all your customers that way? That impressive, were they? I have to say, they impressed me too with their performance at the new year's party this year. I gave them hardly any time to prepare at all, and they still pulled off a fantastic performance." Ammy leans her head on one hand. "What sorts of inventions do you have for testing then? I don't suppose you could show me your lab."
  70. [14:26:03] [@Amaryllis] I'm just gonna copy the last part of the line again in case it cut off. "What sorts of inventions do you have for testing then? I don't suppose you could show me your lab."
  71. [14:26:44] [Lenore] (It went through)
  72. [14:30:18] [@Kain] Crystal leans over your shoulder and whispers into your ear. "I couldn't find anything that looked like what you asked, but there sure is a lot of weird stuff..."
  73. [14:31:33] [@Kain] Polly: "Damn straight I could. Come on then, Itchy." she snubs her cigarette into a nearby ashtray and starts dragging you across her ship.
  74. [14:32:08] * Amaryllis is quite a natural at being a dragee considering how often she's dragged off places.
  75. [14:35:14] [@Kain] A lot of the rooms are standard for a theater ship. There are a few extra rooms over the usual, for all of the actors, stage hands, music staff, etcetera, costume room, there's a large stage on deck... but she takes you under the actual stage area, where the trapdoors and lifts are, where a number of things are just strewn about. Broken Sprockets, sacks of gil and random assorted jewelry
  76. [14:35:14] [@Kain] spilling out onto the floor, tools, and a few different projects she's been working on.
  77. [14:37:16] [@Kain] You see... apart from those motorized electric spotlights, what looks to be a rail mechanism to slide stage scenery along, a typical theater seat with some sort of device under it. When you pass by it shakes and vibrates as something sprays from between the seat legs.
  78. [14:38:43] [@Amaryllis] "Have you sold any of -this- equipment to Tantalus? Or was it just the airship? I'm sure it would work spectacularly in their performances."
  79. [14:41:38] [@Kain] She bites her lip. "Ehhh, I haven't had time, really... making sure I got everywhosit right, and being busy for other customers..."
  80. [14:42:37] [@Amaryllis] "Sounds like something you could use some help with too then." Ammy smiles, still taking a close look around. "But do show me what you wanted me to test."
  81. [14:43:03] * DiceMaid-9001 (DiceMaid-9@sux-EADD5C74) has joined #planegame
  82. [14:43:07] [@Kain] Roll awareness, Ammy.
  83. [14:43:14] [@Amaryllis] 2d6+3
  84. [14:43:15] [DiceMaid-9001] Amaryllis, 2d6+3: 7 [2d6=1,3]
  85. [14:43:21] [@Amaryllis] 2d6+10 fuck you let's go chocochick
  86. [14:43:23] [DiceMaid-9001] Amaryllis, fuck you let's go chocochick: 14 [2d6=1,3]
  87. [14:43:30] [@Amaryllis] (...dubs? Sort of)
  88. [14:43:43] [Lenore] (^)
  89. [14:43:49] [@Amaryllis] (SURE IS A DUBS DAY)
  90. [14:43:56] [Lenore] (only the dead can know peace from the dubs)
  91. [14:44:21] [@Kain] The bags of random assorted wealth seem kind of suspect. Earrings, necklaces, rings, loose gil...
  92. [14:46:49] [@Kain] Polly: "Well how 'bout this?" she pushes you into the theater seat. "It's the wave of the future! I call it... Vibra-tor! With this machine installed under everyone's seats, they can feel the footsteps of an approaching army, the sensation of hundreds of rats crawling beneath their feet, or the ocean spray lapping at the heroine's feet as she lays on the beach!" She throws a lever next to
  93. [14:46:49] [@Kain] the chair and you're subjected to some violent shaking.
  94. [14:46:51] [@Amaryllis] "Do you not have a safe or somewhere else to keep your wealth? With everything else you have here, I thought you might have invented one with its own defense system." Ammy remarks as she follows Polly wherever she made lead her.
  95. [14:46:58] [@Amaryllis] (lood)
  96. [14:47:46] [@Kain] Polly: "..Haven't figured out how to work out specific settin's for the finesse of it yet."
  97. [14:48:53] [@Kain] Polly: "Oh, that? Uhh..."
  98. [14:49:06] [@Amaryllis] "Aaaaaaaahhh!" Ammy holds on to the chair's arms. "Yes, that would probably be a good next step. I could see this becoming popular if advertised for particular performances but not necessarily something for all audiences. The elderly and infirm may not appreciate it for example."
  99. [14:49:12] [@Kain] Polly: "Well, just haven't cleaned up since my last client dumped his payment in, y'know?"
  100. [14:49:34] [@Amaryllis] "Your clients pay in jewelry?"
  101. [14:49:42] [@Kain] Polly: "This one did!"
  102. [14:50:07] [@Kain] Polly: "Just brought in a load of goblins with funny hats and dumped the sacks all over my floor. No big."
  103. [14:50:35] [@Amaryllis] "Goblins. With funny hats."
  104. [14:51:53] [@Kain] Polly: "Yeah. I don't hate or discriminate' just 'cuz they're gobbos."
  105. [14:51:56] * Amaryllis scratches her head. "If you do not mind my asking, who would do that? They sound rather eccentric. And if you would rather keep that private, I understand."
  106. [14:52:19] [@Kain] Polly: "Uuuusually don't give out my clients' information." she agrees with you.
  107. [14:52:27] * Amaryllis nods as if expecting that answer.
  108. [14:53:30] [@Amaryllis] "What's next?" Ammy gets up from the chair before Polly can decide to do impromptu adjustments and test it again.
  109. [14:53:52] [@Kain] Polly: "But, but! They ordered like twenty of my stage effects cannons last month! It was so boss!" she says excitedly, taking out some paper and tobacco, starting to roll a new cig. "Uh, uh, uh..... let's see."
  110. [14:54:54] [@Amaryllis] Can Ammy remember any big events in the past month that would've used that many stage cannons?
  111. [14:55:48] [@Kain] You're not entirely sure what a 'stage cannon' is anyway, but given the context you think it may be some sort of fireworks launcher?
  112. [14:55:59] [@Kain] In which case the big events of last month would be new years.
  113. [14:56:30] [@Amaryllis] Aside from Treno, Alexandria, and Linblum, were there any big celebrations?
  114. [14:57:09] [@Kain] There was the bash at the Desert Palace
  115. [14:59:11] * Amaryllis waits with apprehension for Polly's next experimental invention. "Are all of your inventions for theatre?"
  116. [15:01:52] [@Kain] Polly: "A good majority! Some airship things, too. Didja notice all the cannons I had on the ship? No? Hehe, that's 'cuz of my retractable mounts that fold into th'ship. I don't wanna give the appearance of a warship if I don't haveta, y'know. Gotta be careful of them pirates, though." she drags you along down the ways towards a microphone, a rare sight since the only one you've seen was in
  117. [15:01:52] [@Kain] Baku's radio station.
  118. [15:02:09] [@Kain] It's on a floor-mounted stand, and there are wires leading over to a large box nearby.
  119. [15:02:54] [@Amaryllis] "You have had problems with air pirates before?" Ammy takes a look at the mic. "Did you invent this for Baku? Or is it an innovation off of that design?"
  120. [15:05:21] [@Kain] Polly: "Kind of, but it's not such a big problem anymore, really. And naw, this is me just riding on the waaaaves. Radio is the coolest damn thing that's come out in a long time! But you know what I thought would be awesome? Think about it, if the radio were a bit louder, how many people could hear? So what if insteada transmittin' the sound a long distance, we used this for making people
  121. [15:05:21] [@Kain] heard better? I call it... the loudspeaker!"
  122. [15:05:51] [@Kain] Polly: "How many actors you know got their throats raw from bellowing their lines at the top of their lungs, huh?"
  123. [15:06:42] * Amaryllis smiles. "Actually, if you have prototypes for that, I would be more than glad to have them field tested for you."
  124. [15:08:58] [@Kain] Polly: "Yeah? Great! I'll hook ya up, then."
  125. [15:10:22] [@Amaryllis] "Is there some way of making that box more portable? I suppose it could always be put on wheels."
  126. [15:12:07] [@Kain] Polly: "Tell you what, I'll work on that and send a thingajig to your address when I can. Where you at?"
  127. [15:12:32] [@Amaryllis] "In the noble quarter, at..." Ammy gives the address of the Aitchison House.
  128. [15:15:12] [@Kain] You give Polly your contact address then.
  129. [15:15:32] [@Kain] Polly seems eager to get to work on this new thing, excited witrh someone actually interested in her work.
  130. [15:15:38] [@Kain] What do?
  131. [15:17:19] [@Amaryllis] "You are rather enthusiastic today. I don't suppose there's anything else you are especially excited to test or show off?" Ammy is balancing her desire to dig deeper into what this woman does with the slight sense of building dread that she may regret asking too much into it.
  132. [15:19:36] [@Kain] Polly: "Hm? Oh, oh, ohh... hm. on wheels... uhh..." she thinks of something else to show you.
  133. [15:21:27] [@Kain] Polly: "No, not really at the moment... I've only just gotten a chance to get back to my work, y'know!"
  134. [15:21:46] [@Amaryllis] "Been busy with other things then?"
  135. [15:22:06] [@Kain] Polly: "Weeelllll you know, this and that."
  136. [15:22:10] [@Kain] Awareness?
  137. [15:22:59] [@Amaryllis] 2d6+3
  138. [15:23:00] [DiceMaid-9001] Amaryllis, 2d6+3: 10 [2d6=5,2]
  139. [15:23:05] [@Amaryllis] 2d6+10 chocochick let's go
  140. [15:23:06] [DiceMaid-9001] Amaryllis, chocochick let's go: 17 [2d6=1,6]
  141. [15:24:06] [@Kain] You thiiink she's being evasive about something.
  142. [15:24:32] [@Kain] Polly: "Oh, damn, duh. You want portable, I'll see about hooking it up to a Sprocket..."
  143. [15:26:56] * Amaryllis sighs. "You know, you can tell me there's something that has been keeping you away from your work or bothering you. The incident with the Endless Finale? I don't really care about that. Someone completely unrelated could have set that aflame, and you should not have been drawn into that investigation at all, in my opinion." Ammy pauses. "But you seem troubled by something here. Do you want to tell me about it? I can help you with advertising and testing your inventions when you are busy, and perhaps I can help with this as well."
  144. [15:28:13] [@Kain] I can help yo
  145. [15:28:43] [@Amaryllis] I can help you with advertising and testing your inventions when you are busy, and perhaps I can help with this as well."
  146. [15:29:17] [@Amaryllis] (sorry, my client sometimes splits large messages and sometimes doesn't. I think it is just set to split at a higher number of characters than is the maximum for suptg's character limit)
  147. [15:31:50] [@Kain] Polly: "Sheet, why's everyone and their dog heard about that? Well, thanks, but don't think I could open my heart to a stranger, y'know! So be less strange." She squints. "Though you're already more familiar than most who bother to drop by."
  148. [15:32:30] [@Amaryllis] "Am I now? I do not often get that."
  149. [15:33:53] [@Kain] Polly: "Tell you what, you test out my speakers, then come by and have a drink sometime."
  150. [15:33:58] [@Kain] Polly: "Maybe then!"
  151. [15:34:28] [@Amaryllis] "Alright, I can manage that." Ammy smiles and nods.
  152. [15:35:23] [@Kain] Polly: "You need anythin' else, Amaryllis?" she finally calls you by your first name instead of 'itchy'
  153. [15:36:17] [@Amaryllis] "No, I think this conversation has been quite fruitful for the both of us already. Thank you. I suppose I could take one of your 'loudspeakers' now to test and wait for you to deliver a more portable version later?"
  154. [15:38:20] [@Kain] Polly: "Knock yourself out!"
  155. [15:38:25] [@Kain] Polly: "Not literally!"
  156. [15:40:14] [@Amaryllis] "Well then, I guess I shall take that back to my airship, and we shall meet again later?"
  157. [15:41:35] [@Kain] Polly: "Sure as sugar. You have yourself an easy day." She flashes you another grin and reaches for her bottle, but it's already been taken by one of the weird faceless automatons. "HEY THAT WASN'T EMPTY! GET BACK HERE"
  158. [15:42:22] [@Amaryllis] "I enjoyed making your acquaintance, Polly. You enjoy your day as well." Ammy says as she watches her with amusement.
  159. [15:42:56] [@Kain] You start heading back to the airship, Crystal tailing you.
  160. [15:43:03] [@Kain] Crystal: "Sorry I didn't find much..."
  161. [15:43:39] [@Amaryllis] "It's quite alright. I did not notice much amiss myself, aside from the mystery of her recent business."
  162. [15:44:05] [@Amaryllis] "Perhaps there was nothing to find after all, but we cannot be sure. I shall be able to say with more confidence once I return and learn more."
  163. [15:44:14] [@Kain] Crystal: "Hm... are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
  164. [15:44:27] [@Amaryllis] "You want to test the loudspeaker?" Ammy smiles.
  165. [15:44:43] [@Kain] Crystal: "W-well... that does sound like it'd be fun." she admits.
  166. [15:44:59] [@Kain] You get back on the stray for now, and start on the way back to Treno.
  167. [15:45:05] [@Amaryllis] "I thought you might like that. Was there anything else?"
  168. [15:45:55] [@Kain] Crystal: "I don't know... it just feels weird that her clients were goblins?"
  169. [15:46:18] [Theta] (Racists)
  170. [15:47:20] [@Amaryllis] "Perhaps so, yes, but maybe the goblins were only hired to make the delivery of payment."
  171. [15:47:47] [@Amaryllis] "Though given how goblin sky pirates have been a problem before, I suppose it may be surprising Polly was not more wary."
  172. [15:48:45] [@Kain] Crystal nods.
  173. [15:49:01] [@Kain] Discuss this more or head back to Treno?
  174. [15:49:04] [@Amaryllis] "...Shall we return and let you surprise Theta with our new acquisition?"
  175. [15:49:16] [@Kain] Crystal: :D
