Opening a random door, Shigeto stepped inside. It was bright, so much so that it felt like he was outside, and when he looked up, he in fact saw the sun hanging in a blue sky. Turning around, he saw the door through which he entered was nowhere to be seen, replaced by a meadow that was spread out.

The gate was ornately decorated. Chalk walls without a single stain appeared to go on forever.

An avenue made of cobble paving stretched straight ahead, leading to a beautiful white castle in the distance. The avenue was lined by cute buildings​ that looked like they’d been pulled right out of a fairy tale, and cheerful music filled the air.

As they kept walking, they came to an arched bridge. Canals divided the place into different areas, with bridges used to connect them.

Upon crossing the bridge, the atmosphere changed dramatically. The many trees were increasing in number, and their visibility had become poor. He had walked into a forest.

Passing through the forest, he came upon another bridge. Crossing over it, there were objects side-by-side that seemed to be gravestones. They were crosses made of stone, and many were sticking into the rough soil.

Passing through the graveyard, he came upon a huge castle. That would be the last obstacle for him. Once he approached the bridge, the undead stopped chasing him. Apparently they could only act within the graveyard. The bridge connected to a castle gate.

重人 は、 適当 に 扉 を 選ん で 開き、 中 に 入っ た。 　 中 は 明るかっ た。 　 屋外 としか 思え ない 明る さで、 空 を 見上げれ ば 太陽 が あたり を 照らし て いる。振り向け ば、 入っ て き た はず の 扉 は なく、 そこ には 草原 が 広がっ て い た。

ゲート は 煌 びやかな 装飾 に 彩ら れ て いる。 汚れ 一つ ない 白亜 の 壁 は どこ までも 続い て いる よう だっ た。

石畳 で でき た 大通り が 真っ直ぐ に 延び て い て、 遠く に 見える 白く 美しい 城 へと 続い て い た。大通り の 周囲 には、 童話 にでも 出 て くる よう な 可愛らしい 建物 が 並ん で い て、 楽し げ な 音楽 が 流れ て いる。

さらに 奥 に 歩い て いく と、 アーチ 状 の 橋 が あっ た。 この 中 は 運河 で いくつ かの エリア に 分かれ て いる よう で、 橋 で エリア 間 が 繫 が れ て いる らしい。 　 重人 が 橋 を 渡る と、 周囲 の 雰囲気 が 変わっ た。木々 が 増え て、 見通し が 悪く なっ た の だ。 　 そこ は、 森 だっ た。

森 の 中 を 進ん で いく と、 また 橋 が あっ た。橋 を 渡る と、 墓石 らしき もの が 並ん で い た。 　 石 で でき た 十字架 が、 荒れ た 土地 に いくつ も 突き刺さっ て いる。

墓地 エリア を 進ん で いく と、 巨大 な 城 が 迫っ て き た。 ここ を 抜けれ ば 城 に 辿り 着ける よう だ。橋 に さしかかる と、 動く 死者 たち は それ 以上 追っ て こ なかっ た。 彼ら は 墓地 エリア 内 しか 動け ない の だろ う。 　 橋 は 城門 へと 繫 がっ て いる。
