Cadance, Darkness [spooky]

Cadence could not sleep. For the past 5 days she had been left awake to endure whispers in the dark. Every night she would join her husband in their bed, say their sweet nothings, and she would proceed to lie there fully awake until dawn.

It would start around 2am and end at 6. for the most part the whispers unintelligible. A dead language as far as she knew. Tonight however was different. She could understand them now. Each one an atrocity. Each whisper spoke of a horror beyond what she could perceive. Each an act of cruelty aimed at her. But behind the whispers she could hear something.

It was faint, but she could hear it. A voice. As to what it said she could not tell, but if she focused…

“I have you now.”

She was alone. She was alone and floating in an abyss.
