History of Character: (Summary): Born a noble son of House Pelleaux, Claude spent his formative years learning from his mother and tutors as his father lived the life of a wastrel and spent the branch families coin on frivolous things. During the Rhoynish conflict his mother, a Knight in the Order, died in the battle of Hessalia. Resentment and hatred brewed between Claude and his father afterwards, leading up to first Claude's removal of the house and placed in the Academy. Where he swiftly rose through the ranks and graduated, being inducted as an instructor shortly after. Upon returning home Claude sent an assassin to end the life of his father and took over the head of the Branch family.
Since then he's spent his time making moves with the people of Osrona. From gaining the service of Knights such as Adrielle Solenne and Valero Montclaire to hiring larges swathes of Sudbury poor. Setting the foundations to increase the power of House Pelleaux, and the power of Claude himself. He's brought over ten magi to his personal service and gained connections with the Fraternity of Osrona and the Dojo of Kurokaiya.

Claude seeks out aid and direction in attuning to the cosmos from Al-Aziz a disciple of the Geist star who he believed possess the needed forsight to aid him in his efforts. What follows is a deep conversation about the stars and plans being drawn up for how one would go about connecting to the cosmos above. While doing so Claude helps to plant the seed of interest of the stars in those around them.

Claude hosts a lesson on the Constellation of Leonaus as well as the stars themselves to several young peasants who'd voiced interest to him. While doing so he helps to explain what a star does on an individual level as well as what the constellation does. As well as explaining the history of Astrology within Esshar.

Claude takes his young servant Fors on a journey to the Hierophants tower. While there he explains more of the cosmos and allows the youth to make use of a portable telescope to help gain insight into which star called to him. While there Claude attempts to attune to Hiero and through the attempts realizes he's at turmoil with himself and feels a rejection from the Old Star.

Claude has a conversation with his Sworn-Knight Exarch Montclaire regarding politics and the stars themselves. Offering insight into the way in which they function as well as helping to explain the visions that the Knight had been experiencing.

Claude retreats to the place he finds the most comfortable and dives back into the cosmos through the reflection of the lake upon the Academy's grounds. Finding himself letting up on his single-minded focus of Hiero and being guided to a new star and a new constellation. Ophiuchus the Serpent Holder and within it Rasalhague the Head of the Serpent Holder. It is with this realization that he was destined for a star outside of the constellation of Leonaus and insight into his true self that the man finds himself connected to the cosmos.
