Kid Anon And Mommashy part 14

>The night was vanquished by the rising sun.
>Fluttershy had gotten up first, with Angel waking from up top as you slept.
>Fluttershy carefully got out of bed and took a long hard look at you. There laid you, her son, who loved her as a mother despite the circumstances. She didn't want to fail being the mother you so idolized, she had to do her best...and surpass it, she wasn't sure exactly how. But everyday would be a new learning experience.
>Today she was going to bring you back to the castle. She had to trust in her friend Twilight to take care of you, and not be there to baby you. To let you stand on your own two feet. She knew you could do it, you did manage with Discord afterall....though she could swear there were odd circumstances that led to you being alone with him that day.
>She started to make breakfast, making sure to make you a bigger,heartier, meal to help you through the day. The only thing that worried her was if Twilight popped off on you again, she wouldn't be there to help.....but she had to trust that everything would go smoothly.
>You could smell the aroma of breakfast awaking you from your slumber.
>You sleepily move your hands around as you call for your mother. She wasn't there...You immediatly upon realising this, reach further with your own body in a dreamy haze, afraid she may have run away after last night.
>You fall onto the floor as you fully awaken to a small knock to the head. You look up and sigh as you conciously register the smell of food. She was making breakfast. She had to be, simply because it smelled so good.
>You stood up and dusted yourself off, you shook your head abit to clear your nostrils as you stepped out the door. "Mom?"
>You see her already serving the animals, that familiar energy and smile having returned to her before your very eyes. Quite the contrast from last night.....maybe she was just tired...but you swore she was upset about something.
>Fluttershy noticed you and waved "Good Morning,You little sleepyhead, I'd thought i'd have to get Angel to wake you up"
>You blinked, yup...back to her old self....you thought anyway. She seemed chipper than usual. You turn to the source of the glorious smell of food sitting on the counter. But before you went to eat it...you just had to know. "Good Morning Mom!..." You approached her and gave her a hug. It was a normal hug....nothing unusual about it...hmmm, she even kissed your forehead like usual. "Hey Mom...about yesterday...are...you ok?"
>She nuzzled into you and looked gave you a cheerful little grin. "Of course, it was nothing to worry about. I was just tired from such an exciting day"
>Exciting? Well, you figured maybe it was alittle exciting. Maybe thats all that was. But why did she cry then? You ask her this.
>Fluttershy freezes for a second, she didn't expect this kind of interrogation. She didn't want you to worry at all about it. "Well...I was just thinking about the future."
>You didn't know what that meant, but if she was afraid you were going to up and leave..."Mom, no matter how big I get, I'll always want to live with you...so don't worry!"
>She giggled, it was a cute sentiment. She even wondered if you'd even grow. And she was glad that the questioning was over. She points you to your food. Which you thank her for and then eat in earnest.
>"Anon...how would you like to see the castle again?". Fluttershy had forgotten all about telling you about this, and she was hoping you'd say yes. She wanted to hope Twilight could find out more about you.
>You looked over to Fluttershy as you ate. The castle again? You weren't too entirely keen on that idea. It was fun....But you were afraid of making any kind of mistake infront of Twilight again. You asked Fluttershy why she asks.
>She asks you not to take it the wrong way. She then tells you about Twilight wanting to essentially learn anything knowledgable about who you are, and that she herself wanted to know too.
>You paused to think. You didn't care about any of that. You knew enough about you to get along pretty well. But they were worried about if you got sick and such. You remembered that. You remember what else Twilight told you. And with that, you didn't take offense at all to it. "Mom....if you're worried about me getting sick" You hesitated your next words "....then I guess....I don't mind"
>Fluttershy sighed in relief, she was almost sure you were going to react negatively. But then she thought to herself, that she shouldn't think of such things.
>She tells you to take your time with breakfast, that they were leaving when you finished eating. She wanted you to not feel rushed.
>You ate slower than usual however. Even if you did accept going. The tone of her voice when she yelled at you was still fresh in your memory. But you knew Fluttershy would protect you if anything went wrong.
>After breakfast, you slipped from your pjs to your suit. And adjusted your bowtie accordingly.
>And so both you and Fluttershy were once again off to the castle of Ponyville. Despite the worry of what was to come, you felt more confident. You almost wanted ponies to wonder what you were. Of course your courage did have a habit of fleeing at times.
>Fluttershy thought to herself as she walked close to you. She started to wonder why exactly Princess Celestia would want to meet you. Surely your presence needn't be that as important as for her to be involved.
>You both reach the castle, but as you both walk towards the entrance, Fluttershy stops right behind the doors.
>You look back. Was she afraid of something? You open the doors and look upon the empty foyer....nothing.
>"Hey Mom, why'd you stop?"
>Fluttershy began to frown. "Well....ummm..." Fluttershy shook her head, she steadied her will. "Anon, I'm just going to leave you here until you are both done...but don't worry, I'll come get you. Just ask Twilight to ummm....send a signal....or if you want, maybe she could bring you back"
>You didn't want any of that. You wanted Fluttershy, your mother, to be with you during the whole visit. You implored her to come in with you. She almost took a step forward, but stopped herself. "Anon...there's nothing to worry about. You've spent a day without me before. I know you can do this without me being here"
>None of that made sense to you. And you didn't want to go in alone. You started to beg her to come with you.
>She took a deep breath. "How about I walk you all the way to where Twilight is? Is that ok?"
>Fluttershy walked over to you, And gave you a gentle kiss to your forehead "Anon...I just want you to beable to handle things on your own. I know you can do it. You do fine taking care of the cottage when I'm away."
>She pokes your belly, illiciting a small giggle from you "You're my brave little gentlecolt,I just know you can do it if you just try"
>You stop your giggling and look into your mother's eyes. She was serious, she had this aura about her. It made you feel that you could do it. Plus, you didn't want to upset her.....you didn't want a repeat of yesterday. You could swear she was really upset about something.
>You put on your best smile and salute. "Alright mom! I'll show you that I can be the finest of gentlecolts!....just.......you'll be here for me when I get out right?"
>Fluttershy nodded, she told you to let Twilight know she'd need a signal beforehand. She was sure she could conjure up something.
>You both hug, and say your goodbyes. She gives you one last peck on your forehead as you turn and open the doors. You look back as you slip inside. She's watching diligently, her smile was becoming less genuine as you slowly closed the doors, waving bye to her.
>She waves back, taking a step closer as she does and watches as the doors fully closed. She did her best to compose herself. Surely she was just overwhelmed with a motherly instinct. Discord was alot more worrisome than Twilight, but perhaps seeing Twilight's reaction firsthand had given her doubt. She stayed in that position for a few more minutes, before slowly departing back to the cottage.
>You were alone. Truly alone in the large foyer of the castle. No animals to atleast comfort you.
>You had thought about stepping back out. But the thought of disappointing Fluttershy stopped you. No, you had to do this.
>You retrace your steps from the first time you had entered and lead yourself to the castle library once more. The doors were open. You peer inside, and although Twilight was not at her desk, there were piles of books on it.
>You fully enter the library, only to notice that Twilight isn't about.
>You start to look at some of the books that laced the shelves. Almost all of them were too complicated for you to read or understand, and some other seemed like spellbooks.
>You couldn't make heads or tails of much of anything written in these books. They all seemed informational, you were atleast trying to find a few that seemed fun or had neat pictures in it.
>Suddenly, you can hear light humming coming from the doorway. You scramble to return the book to it's proper place as you move towards the desk and peer beyond it.
>Humming along into the room was Twilight, she seemed alot cheerier than yesterday. She had some books floating around her, she seemed to be reading one as the rest flew and sat upon the desk.
>She doesn't even seem to notice you. You didn't know if this was a good or bad thing. So you moved into her view, or it would have been had she not been reading whatever she was reading.
>You inch closer, and give her wing a small tug. The book suddenly fell to the ground as Twilight yelped in surprise and almost fell over.
>You didn't mean to hurt her, oh you really didn't. You didn't want to incite a magical pony's vengeance. You step back "I'm really sorry Princess Twilight, I didn't mean to hurt you, please forgive me!"
>Twilight wasn't hurt, just startled, she recovers from her state of shock and notices you. She took a breath and sighed, it was nothing to worry about, she had been expecting you afterall. "It's alright.....It just tells me I may actually need a guard afterall. I didn't even see you at all. Why did you sneak up on me like that?"
>You tell her you didn't mean to. "it's just you didn't seem to notice me at all! I just wanted to get your attention is all"
>She giggled, a small fright over the fact she didn't notice you. She thought about it, maybe a few guards were needed. If she could be ambushed easily when she was caught up in a book. Then that could be bad. Then again, she could probably put some magical safety measures into place.
>Giggling after you just scared her? Was this the same pony? "ummm...are you really the same Princess Twilight from yesterday?"
>Twilight looked at herself, she thought something may have been off about herself. But she seemed fine "I'd....hope so. What's wrong?"
>"Oh...no, no...nothing's wrong." You lied, you just didn't want to mention how uptight and loud she was yesterday. So you take an approach to shift subjects as you bow "It's a pleasure to meet you again, Princess Twilight"
>Twilight leaned close to you and stared into your eyes, deeply. She put on sly smile as she stared at you. "You know Anon, it isn't good to lie to a princess."
>You felt flushed, how did she know you were lying? You shivered as you're eyes darted upwards "I'm not ly-ying"
>Twilight wanted to have a smidgen of fun with this. She had recently been reading up on how to detect lies, incase she had to deal with any shady pony. This was the perfect time to expirement and teach a lesson at the same time.
>"Yes you are....I can sense it with my prinnncessss powers." she made her voice abit ominous. In truth, she was just reading your reactions.
>Twilight stifled another giggle as you began to seriously rethink your actions.
>You bowed again. Shaking "I....I'm sorry, Princess Twilight...I...I just didn't want to bring up how uptight you were yesterday"
>Twilight's tone suddenly changed to that of surprise "Uptight? I'm not uptight! I'm...." she stopped as she saw  you  shiver.
>You were trying to be that brave gentlecolt Fluttershy kept seeing in you. But you were up against a princess. Who could probably do horrid things to you and never have to tell anyone.
>She stopped dead in her words. And instead tried to think of something uplifting.
