- After twenty minutes of pacing through the house, Shion finally lay down on the living room couch despite the meaty smell.
- "Ugh...what is that?"
- "Raw pork slices! So thin, they're almost transparent."
- The demon girl sitting on the floor didn't turn around to face Shion, reading something on her greasy tablet instead. She grabbed another dozen slices, squishing them into a messy ball before taking a bite.
- "Neee, you disgusting demon! Just wait for dinner!"
- "Don't care, girls my age need to eat when they're-", Ayame interrupted herself by taking another bite, "when they're hungry."
- Shion looked away from her husband's wife playing with food, trying to distract herself from the approaching night by listening to the kitchen noises from upstairs. She didn't want to wait for dinner either, but getting up to fetch a snack was so troublesome...
- "Uh...can I try a slice? Just one?"
- Ayame held one over her shoulder nonchalantly. "Worried about your figure, or what? You should eat more flesh, keeps you young in mind and body."
- "Eh, I just want to try it! I'm not worried about my figure!" Shion replied, pinching her bare stomach to assess her pudge level one more time. Still far from overweight, but definitely closer to Aqua's softness than Ayame's firmness - which had declined only a little despite all the meat. Shion grabbed the slice with her other hand and nibbled - it tasted worse than she expected, causing both a noise and a look of disgust.
- But Ayame was too busy reading, chewing, annotating and mumbling to herself to notice. "Incomplete...inaccurate...checks out...bullshit..."
- Shion stretched out her arm, playfully impaling her pork slice on Ayame's left horn before playing with the ring around her finger.
- "Man, I'll never hear the end of it from my sisters! He's got to be home early enough for us to have...time, before I have to leave."
- Ayame turned her tablet's screen off and gulped down some more pork before jumping to her feet. "You could leave it here, you know? He wouldn't mind."
- Shion looked at the glistening band of gold and smiled, slowly turning her hand with a sigh. "No...but I would."
- "If they're mean, just tell me. I'll rip them until they apologize!" the demon girl giggled as she grabbed one of the steel sheets she had stolen from a factory yard, stretching it until a crack formed.
- Shion sat up, annoyed with Ayame's brutish jokes that had become tiresomely common over the last weeks.
- "They're my coven sisters! Any threat to them is a threat to me, by oath! I sure hope you get the importance of oaths, at this point!" She took a breath, but her anger made her tongue lash out before her mind could intervene. "You're not a lone oni anymore! Were you one because you tore the others in half, or what?"
- Ayame's ruby eyes glared as two pieces of steel fell to the ground. Her left arm and hand turned veiny, wrinkly, darker - with growing nails, claw-looking. Her left horn grew as well, lifting the pork slice higher into the air. One swift leap and she stood before Shion, fangs bared.
- "One more insult to my honor and you'll RUE THE DAY YOU WERE BORN, MORTAL!"
- Shion just sat there for a second, too overwhelmed and cowed to move - until she gathered her wits and burst into laughter at the fake, chuuni display. Ayame was quick to join in the laughter, and her demonic features retreated until she was a cute, horny albino girl again.
- "Neee Ayame, don't do scary things like that! If you did that to Aqua, she would pee herself in fear! Sorry for the sass." Shion said, half-serious.
- "So? She's the housewife here, she'll clean it up!" Ayame sneered, and they both laughed some more. Shion relaxed, fooled by the demon's demeanor.
- Ayame sat down in front of the couch again, but before either said anything more the front door began to open.
- "Anon!" Ayame exlcaimed, jumping up and racing to the door - Shion just managed to snag the pork slice from Ayame's horn in time, hiding her prank from her husband and his wife. Shion threw the slice back into Ayame's messy meat and blood bowl before following her to the door, putting up a sassy facade for the sake of a nice welcome.
- Her husband struggled to not fall over as Ayame launched herself at him from the left, wrapping her arms and legs around him too tightly before tempering herself.
- "Dinner's almost ready, honey! Carry your starving wife upstairs!"
- He chuckled, placing a quick kiss on Ayame's mouth. "You don't look or smell like you're starving! And can I give the demon on my shoulder special privileges like that when she's being so needy? "
- Before Ayame could answer, Shion stepped up, and to his right.
- "No need to give her those...surely you can handle two of your wives!" After giving him a second to prepare, Shion jumped on and wrapped her arms and legs around him opposite to Ayame's.

- You smile as you adjust to being weighed down on two fronts.
- "This is how you treat your man after he worked all day, like a horse?"
- "Excuses, excuses!"
- "Giddy-up!"
- You put your hands under their supple butts for support and fun before you trudge onwards, through the corridor and up the stairs.
- "You'll pay this back, you know?" you ask as you give both of them a hearty squeeze.
- The white-haired girls giggle as they grab you tighter and lean in to kiss your cheeks.
- "Right after dinner! Because I've been in the mood all day and..." Shion's voice falters. "I have to leave in time, for the flight."
- "Even worse for me, I have to leave right after dinner!" Ayame is nuzzling her face into your neck, but it sounds as if she was frowning.
- You set the girls down next to the dinner table, taking your place at the head of the table while the two sit by your sides.
- "Well, it can't be helped...looks like I might have to go to sleep early tonight, if my wives are so busy with their mysterious business. Just make sure to be as secretive as I told you, alright?"
- Ayame grins, baring her large fangs as a fiery glow appeared in her eyes. "Don't worry, I don't even have to leave the house. I'll just open a portal in the basement, it won't leave any trace!"
- "No sulfur smell when you go to hell?"
- "Hng, it's not hell and there's no sulfur! You're this close, you...you bitch-witch, you insolent pig, you...!" Ayame snarls as she reaches for the flower pot from the table.
- Shion sticks her tongue out as she prepares to duck.
- "Hey!"
- They stop what they're doing and look at you, preparing to speak before you shush the master witch and the ancient demon with your index fingers. "What are you not supposed to have here?"
- You pull your arms back, allowing them to look down and speak in unison. "No fights at the dinner table."
- "This has gotten worse and worse recently. What's going on with you two?"
- "I'm sorry Ayame, Anon...I'm just nervous, trying to distract myself with jokes. I didn't mean any insult to your demon honor or what it's called..."
- "...no no, it's my fault! I just need a bit of time for myself at home, to reconnect! After that I won't become so...emotional about your jokes. I'll laugh along again more, I promise."
- You sigh, but can't help but smile as you stroke your short wives' hair. "Oh, you two...as long as you can make up, it's alright. And even if you're both out in a few hours, maybe I'll have some quality alone time with-"
- "AHH!" the kitchen door flies open with the high-pitched squeak of the only wife that'd be left to you. Aqua sprinted into the room, past the comfy couch and to the table like a madwoman, almost throwing the large steak dish onto it before blowing air on her palms, tears in her eyes. "HOT HOT HOT! OWWW!"
- Evidently, she took the oven mitts off too early - again.
- You quickly grab her hands, feeling your heart sink as you see the widespread burns on your wife's hands. "Oh shit...Shion, can you fix that?"
- As Ayame is still deciding whether amusement or worry should prevail, Shion gets up with a serious expression and stops herself from grabbing Aqua's hand, gesturing to follow instead. "Ayame, water. Aqua, downstairs. Now."
- Before Aqua has a chance to stop panicking and follow, you get up and pick her up in a gentle princess carry. You follow Shion down the stairs as Ayame goes to grab water from the kitchen.
- Aqua looks at you, too busy with crying and shame to be surprised by the quick lift. "I got too excited serving the delicious steak that I made and felt like I could make it to the table quickly...I'm sorry!"
- "It happens, just remember the mitts...or put it down somewhere next time. Don't worry, we'll fix you right up!" Leaning down to give her a quick kiss puts a smile on Aqua's face, and she stops herself from holding onto you just in time.
- "Shion, you need the chalk for this?"
- "Only newbies need that for simple healing! Just the carpet!"
- "Fine, then have at it." You gently put Aqua on the couch and step aside as Shion rolls out her ugly, spotty carpet. Ayame, meanwhile, makes two big leaps down the stairs, holding a pot full of water that somehow doesn't spill. Aqua barely puts her hands out before Ayame maneuvers the pot around them.
- "Ahhh...thank you! Is this magic water?" Aqua asks, sniffling.
- "Just cold water! I don't have magic...well, spells. I do have my soul swords and my demon powers but those are technically a very different thing from spells because they work based on me drawing pow..." Ayame smiles at the puzzled patient. "Ah, it's complicated. Nothing that'd help fix your hand, anyway! Oh, they look really hurt...grabbing hot things with your frail hands, what a-"
- You interrupt Ayame by gently pulling her aside to make way. Your demon wife follows your lead and stays by your side spectating the procedure, carefully wrapping an arm around your lower torso and leaning her head against it. You put your hand on her back to avoid the sharp horns pointing up at your arm.
- Your witch wife lays your Aqua's hands in hers and starts whispering a secret formula. Aqua looks both hopeful and fearful, but relaxes as you give her a smile and a thumbs up. You can't hope to make out what Shion is saying, but Ayame listens intently before whispering and giggling in your ear. "Her Latin pronunciation is awful! My amici would have cringed sooo hard!"
- After a minute, pentagrams in purple and green form around Shion's feet. They slowly move up her legs and her tummy, reaching her shoulders and splitting into two as they move down Shion's arms towards Aqua's hands. As they reach them, your legal wife snorts and slurps. "Oh...it feels good...and it tickles! Ahi-hi-hi!"
- The spellcaster remains unfazed despite the spellcastee's squirming and laughing, keeping a straight posture and her feet firmly on the carpet as she mutters her spells in deep concentration. The pentagrams keep coming, ending their journey by sinking into Aqua's hands; as the last of them arrive, Aqua's laugh is the second loudest you've ever heard.
- Shion lets go of Aqua's hands and as soon as she steps back, tiny trails of smoke rise from the carpet where she just stood. You always figured the heat must start after her bare feet leave the ground - her soles are really sensitive, after all.
