- [14:25] Yuri says, "...."
- [14:25] Misha squints further.. Not even moving to Duck now.. Yuri seems to be the focus!
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:27] Yuri seemed to freeze up when a certain rat-woman showed herself before him. His green gaze doesn't meet hers directly, yet he seemed to be keeping track of her steps. A single hand rises up to the handle of his blade pre-emptively. He was shaking, trembling, clearly full of fear, yet... he knew a battle may be inevitable here.
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:32] Boy did they choose the wrong street to walk on.. She wasn't blocking the bridge for that long and now they dared come over it..? Was that it?
- All the love and joy in those ratty eyes faded the second a Nysean decided to show up, she's not going to see anything other than red here..- "Y'DA.-"
- Her loud.. Squeaky voice is cut off..-
- "Y'ERE WHEN I'M BACK, YER DEAD!" A point off at the young boy before the rat exploded in red and leapt off for Atlas, a squelch and a blood stain where she just stood.
- How the mood switched for the rat..
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:37] Where fear had nestled itself into his heart the moment he caught sight of the woman, Yuri couldn't quite explain how he found himself moving without any issue the moment Atlas' life was threatened by the crazed woman. This was courage, mind you, he was still as terrified as ever, yet his oversized sword was swung without a second thought.
- Bravery. To move forward no matter how scared one might be. The young Knight didn't even have to think when it came to coming to the aid of his senior and current goal to surpass.
- "Y-You leave him alone!"
- He was definitely going to be beaten down if it came down to it, but running away and leaving Atlas was not an option.
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:37] What started as a trip to Alabastre would soon turn into an encounter with an all too familiar face. It didn't take long before he spotted the rat-woman. It also didn't take long before she spotted the Radiant. He instinctively drew his blade, a good call since Misha took off without hesitation.
- "Eek..."
- He simply had to defend himself. The powers of time flooded through his body and enhanced his reaction speed, allowing him to react to the incoming attacker.
- He didn't think he'd have another battle with her after Osrona 'dealt' with the rat, but it seems he thought wrong.
- "Not today..."
- (Atlas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [14:42] The rat was at a crossroads, though Doctor Who was clear to be her main target, the boy was just going to be too slow.
- "Y'THINK CAUSE I'S GONE FER A BIT Y'CAN COME NEAR?! YER TAIL'S MINE." Coils of blood and all sorts came about now, Mish had done some growing in all that time.. Though her attitude toward Nyseans would never change.
- Especially the one who took her beloved tail.
- So from there, she struck out to rid the grown man of something..
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:01] So with a mere afterimage of herself left with a cloud of crimson smoke among all the mushrooms, Mish went straight for Atlas.
- "Y'THINK IT'S OKAY FER A FILTHY NYSEAN T'COME OVER 'ERE?!" If it wasn't made clear already.
- So as to be expected, the rodent came at the man with all the same fighting fury she had a year ago, the mere sight of both Yuri and Atlas in one go overwhelming her, bad memories.
- How different does she look? Very! A very stand out suit is worn now, more obvious than it was in the past with the cloak always around her. That..- And where once was her old, leathery tail, now dangled a near equally long, metallic one.- He'd soon feel the worse side of it.
- Clouds of blood splurted out in each direction, hovering around the ratling wherever she went, all seeming to make contact with poor Atlas' skin to melt it..- But that wasn't all, with the blistered skin, she threw in the very trademark to the rat, spine shattering kicks and punches.. And now tail whips.
- It's a constant barrage, though the time-lord's own power isn't to be denied, it seemed he got a whole lot tougher too.. She'd be caught out in the middle of the whole thing, pulled down to the ground by an unrelenting force that was quite clearly his doing.. - The small failure there made her start thinking for certain, she'd have to be more careful with them..-
- In any case, despite these new, odd powers they possessed, Mish came out on top.
- She saw her opening and managed to entangle his leg in her long, disgusting rot whips, they gripped his leg like a cobra and sure enough.. Broke it. The advantage of having him held like that made it all the more easier to slap him against the concrete floor and press her boot against his neck..- "I'll be takin summit' worth a tail now..-"
- Hopefully Yuri could come to the rescue..- Though the rat seemed pretty ready with with a sudden, conjured out, bone dagger.
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:06] Usually that 'push' came from fighting Demons, from feeling their vile energies intersect with his own. But this was different. The young Knight wasn't merely reaction and following the guise of a hand pressed up against his back. It felt more like he drew it for himself, forcibly so.
- There was no time to think, no time to hesitate. Atlas' life hung in his hands at the moment. Yuri's blue shroud roared with untold strength. He knew he was no match for the woman as he currently was. He knew he couldn't best her. He knew it was hopeless. The only solution was clear, wasn't it? Aeliana's talk with him boiled down to a few simple words: Grow strong for yourself.
- If he couldn't match her as he was in the current moment, then he would have to grow. He would have to become... stronger. Better. Faster. Braver. All within the span of a few exchanged blows.
- Burning with energy surrounding him, Yuri leapt forth. His emerald hues gave a look towards Atlas, one that spelled a demand of his.
- Believe in me.
- For there was nothing else to believe in.
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:16] Once more he battled with the rat, something that had developed into a longtime rivalry amongst the two.
- She was still as strong as ever. Her blood reeked with a scent that Atlas had smelled oh so many times. But he was a Radiant now, he surely must've been able to beat the sewer rat.
- Wrong.
- He had certainly come quite far since their last one on one, but there was still a bridge to cross in terms of power. The time lord's ability to phase in and out of this timeline aided him in dodging her flurry of unarmed assaults.
- His blade cleaved through skin, but making her bleed only seemed to fuel her power. She utilized her own blood to attack, forming clouds of blood that decayed the very area around them. It was tough to battle against but it wasn't something that Atlas hadn't dealt with before.
- But this match did show him something. If he managed to escape this situation alive then maybe their next encounter would be different. Atlas was right on her tail, arcanium or otherwise.
- "Yuri..."
- The Child of Light made his move, rushing in to try and attack Misha in Atlas' defense. The Radiant could only sit and watch as the boy charged forward, oversized sword in hand.
- (Atlas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:24] So close. So close yet so far.
- Each blow he threw forth was sent with a terrifying amount of strength, enough to draw blood from the rat. Unfortunately for him drawing more blood from a creature that used it for its own benefit wasn't going to be of any service to him.
- Even so, Atlas had called out for his name. His Radiant needed him. His goal needed to stay alive; who else would he go on to surpass if the chronomancer died then and there.
- That roar of energy within Yuri's heart grew tenfold. The push he normally felt turned into a tug from him. He needed to be... stronger. That drive that kept him going, that fury that allowed him to surpass every expectation the world had set upon him.
- It was there.
- He only needed to grasp it.
- "If he dies, who am I supposed to surpass?!"
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:29] The boy was a LOT stronger than she remembered.. How could she get so sloppy around a mere child?!
- They fought.. And Mish took a beating, the rodent taking one too many hits there and being thrashed by the sheer force of them powerful hits the boy surprisingly had..-
- She took that round.. Barely, would she even be able to last the next one?
- A shudder, the first time the rat actually felt a little fear against a Nysean.
- "Who said he's t'only one dyin'.." But she couldn't falter down on the outside, scaring the enemy was half the battle.
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:34] {Lost Dangerous RPB against Misha}
- [15:34] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
- [15:34] ** Misha has inflicted an injury upon Yuri. ("Permanent Injury", "Permanent Injury", "Permanent", "Severity: MODERATE (-10 Vit)") **
- [15:49] So Yuri turned up to Atlas' rescue, a brave little soldier, Nysea's finest of the child labour force.. This just in Mish' head, but it could surely be true.
- She's momentarily pushed of Atlas, stumbling back as the sheer force of the youngster's heavy blow is enough to break her guard, everything that followed was something of a punishment for being too cocky with the enemy.. Never again.
- She just barely managed to hold herself together for the longest time, taking on each hit as it came, beams.. Skin slicing thwacks of his weapon.. Ouch.
- The boy seemed to be doing well.. Till the conclusion.
- The rodent keyed in that battle sense as she once used to, a year in captivity made her pretty weak and pathetic..- Not anymore, from there on, she'd be fighting like she used to. And with it? Came her cocky attitude once more. She realised it was just a little kid.. She missed it, beating the enemy's pawns. "Pff.-"
- The conclusion was, Mish's victory. Coming about with her very honed, pugilist skill and using it to utterly obliterate the poor kid.. The blood wasn't spared from the fight either, she was just waking back up to everything. -- Just when the child thought they'd lost.. Just when they thought they might even get away unsaved themselves..- They'd feel an itch.
- Not just any itch, it was coming from the inside, right near the center of their chest..- Like bubbling.. Boiling sensation that only got hotter and hotter.. So hot it could be felt through the skin. -- Something was going on under his clothes, by the time he'd even get a chance to look at it all happening, there'd be a perfect shape of his rapidly beating heart, scared forever on the outside of his chest.
- "Y'BRAVE!" She'd cackle as a sample of blood flies through the air and returns to Misha's small, open palm, whatever for..?
- She's going to deal with Atlas from there, the boy was merely let off without a chace.. He had his reminder.
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [15:56] He wanted to overcome and defeat the woman that stood in his way. To save the man whom he sought approval from the most; the one who always seemed to stand as a pillar of strength and invincibility. No matter how much he drew from those spiritual forces that looked over his shoulder it wouldn't be enough.
- The might of those that came before him crashed and fell when Misha's hand slammed against his chest, sending Yuri flying backwards and falling to the ground. He was out of breath and out of strength, yet, his will to protect Atlas remained. He couldn't just let the man fall like that. He..
- .. He couldn't.
- "Mister Atlas I-"
- He clutched his chest. The pain beneath his skin was unlike anything the young boy had ever experienced. His blood came to a boil within his very heart, leading to his attempt at getting back up to fail, utterly and completely. He descended face-first into the dirt, hanging onto it. Crawling.
- Trying to reach the Radiant helplessly from a distance that was far, far too lengthy for him to ever make it in time.
- What hope was there left?
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:02] The rat fished there, hands dusting off as she let the poor child deal with his wound there.. He shan't be forgetting her any time soon!
- So she waddled on back to Atlas, reaching on down for the back of his collar.. Only to hear young Yuri.. Then turn to see them crawling on back toward the time lord. It got her curious..
- So she squeaked up. "Wha'cha think yer doin'..?" She'd shake Atlas from the small height off the ground, near on waving him at the wounded child.
- She had all the time in the world, who'd even dare stop her? More Nyseans?
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:07] He could barely inch any closer to Misha from the ground. It was.. a struggle. It was painful. He could feel his heart doing things it wasn't supposed to do. It was like his blood wasn't coursing right through his entire body. Horrible. Teeth came to a grit, and for one of the rare times in his life he looked up towards the rat, defiant.
- It'd be the only way to save Atlas. There was just.. no other way.
- "I.. P-Protecting people I care about!"
- Yet he could hardly protect anything from his position on the ground.
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:12] Yuri had fallen at the hands of the rat, not something Atlas was surprised by. Even with his will to protect he couldn't surpass a barrier such as this. Though neither could Atlas it seemed, not now, maybe not ever.
- It wasn't looking swell at all for either of the Nyseans. Atlas was picked up by his collar, not something that Misha hadn't done to him before. Flashbacks of the sewers ran through his mind, and an audible gulp would be heard from the young Radiant. But he couldn't do much against a force such as this. A coil of blood wrapped around his leg prevented any means of escape. Though maybe if he tried only his leg would receive the punishment. But for now he didn't think he'd resort to such measures.
- "Yuri...Go."
- He couldn't let the young Knight receive punishment in his place. It was only right that Yuri fled the scene to live another day. Atlas' fate was once again in Misha's hands.
- "Please."
- (Atlas)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:22] "Y-.. You won already, right?"
- After seeing the bloodshed firsthand, the boy was shaken up, green eyes darting between the downed Yuri, Misha, and the now grabbed up Atlas. Growing silent for a few moments, the boy gulped, trying to regain his courage to continue speaking.
- "I, uh-.. I have seen you around before. And-.. And people said that you were not a very nice person sometimes." He admits, shakily, "So maybe you can just.. You can just let them go? And then you can show all those people that you are a nice person. You already beat them up, Miss!"
- There's no telling what Misha had planned for Atlas. But maybe, just maybe, the young boy would be able stop anything else bad from happening here.
- "So can you just let them go..? Please..?"
- (Anthonio Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:32] She was completely blank, staring at each one as they made out odd words.. All ending on the youngest around, the Montclaire.
- Again, she's surrounded by children, her being the baddie. She'd not really mind so much but this is square one again, her chance at Sethon was wasted in the past and now all she was doing is clinging to psychotic ideas of having that chance again..- Everything was pointless.
- She didn't matter, nobody around mattered.. It's just the odd thoughts that passed through her head.
- So the rodent tossed Atlas directly at Yuri, making this whole entire ordeal a waste of time entirely. "He already paid fer wha'cha owe me.." That's quite literally it, Atlas was set free, landing right on the warrior child in the back. "Y'can 'spect worse iffin' y'ever cross t'bridge again."
- A spare, snarling glance is made at Anthonio there, he'd only see a twitchy righteye before the rat wanders off like absolutely nothing.
- Coughing is the last they hear of her.
- (Misha)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:32] Misha whispers something.
- [16:35] Misha whispers something.
- [16:39] Yuri's body sunk further into the ground when Atlas was tossed ontop of him. A groan escaped him as he felt the increased pain and pressure of having a fully-grown adult press down upon him.
- This was the worst. And his consciousness was already fading. That push he'd pulled from was completely gone, as was any ounce of strength left.
- Hopefully the Radiant could carry him back home.
- (Yuri)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:42] She was a good person after all.
- As the small, mousy woman released the defeated knight, the boy's lips curled into a warm smile. Practically beaming towards the woman, despite the fact that she had given him such a nasty glare.
- And even then, he wasn't allowed to be traveling alone. So with arms raised high, he'd signal the woman down, following after the coughs.
- (Anthonio Montclaire)
- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- [16:46] He was let go.
- Once more.
- Atlas rose to his feet in confusion as he was almost positive something worse than this would happen to him. Nevertheless he'd roll with the--
- In an instant the man toppled over, his leg gave out almost as soon as he tried to stand. It was broken but that was no issue for the Radiant. Not anymore. Atlas took to the skies, picking up the downed Knight and aiming to head back to Nysea.
- "Pointless..."
- Maybe Misha had a bit of a soft spot for him after all. But Atlas would never know, nor did he care to find out.
- (Atlas)
