Disdaining the speed and convenience an internal conveyance would have provided, Riddick had climbed the exterior of a dark building until he reached its roof. Though it would have seemed difficult for anyone else, it had been an easy ascent for him, far simpler than many he had been forced to make on less civilized worlds.
