  1. >You are Principal Celestia.
  2. >If ever anyone told you the life of an educator was an easy or boring one, they were dead wrong.
  3. >First, some new student manages to subdue the entire school under an iron fist through manipulation and lies.
  4. >Then she turns into a flaming she-demon and destroys a part of it.
  5. >After that, last years incident with "The Dazzlings"...
  6. >You wish life was more routine.
  7. >No one was even sent to your office for discipline.
  8. >Well, almost no one.
  9. >2:14pm.
  10. >He should be arriving in-
  11. >An angry knock at your door.
  12. >Just like clockwork.
  13. "Come in."
  14. >There she was.
  15. >Canterlot High's World Religion teacher Ms. Faith.
  16. >But she was of no consequence.
  17. >No.
  18. >The young man which she constantly marched up to your office was.
  19. "Good afternoon Deloris.. what has Anonymous done this time?"
  20. >Yes, Anon.
  21. >Emerald green eyes full of mischief. Always garbed in Dress clothing to match.
  22. >His hands were raised innocently.
  23. >"He knows full well what he's done, everyday it's the same thing. Disrupting the other students with his mischief."
  24. >He opens his mouth to speak but you cut him off.
  25. "Anonymous, you can explain to me what you did after Ms. Faith returns to class."
  26. >Deloris looks at you like you've grown a second head.
  27. >"What about his punishment? This the three full weeks in a row of him-"
  28. >You've had enough.
  29. "I will hear what he has to say, just as I will listen to your concerns later. Right now, you have a class to teach. Return to it immediately."
  30. >Deloris goes white as a sheet.
  31. >"Y-y-yes Ms. Celestia."
  32. >You resist the urge to pinch the bridge of your nose in frustration.
  33. >You first name was Celestia, not -
  34. >Whatever.
  35. >She excuses herself without another word.
  36. >You turn to Anonymous, whose expression is one of shock, awe, and something you can't put your finger on.
  37. "Well Anonymous? What is it this time?"
  38. >You settle back into your chair.
  39. >He smiles
  40. >"Would you believe me if I said nothing?"
  41. >You sigh.
  42. >Not in frustration.
  43. >No.
  44. >This was familiarity.
  45. >This was stability.
  46. >You might admit it was contentment.
  47. >If only to yourself.
  48. >You knew this dance.
  49. >Anonymous always played like this.
  50. >And today, after all the nothing you've been up to...
  51. >So were you.
  52.
  53. ************
  54.
  55.
  56. >You are Anonymous.
  57. >You have once again found yourself back in the principal's office at Ms. Faith's behest.
  58. >Not that you minded being around the Principal.
  59. >The way her long hair framed her face and the occasional strand traveled down to the valley of flesh between her ample cl-
  60. >Damn it hormones, wait until you were out of school for that crap.
  61. >"You did nothing at all. You just sat down and Ms.Faith decided arbitrarily to- personally I might add- right in the middle of her lecture, march you up to my office."
  62. >You knew you couldn't lie.
  63. >She knew when you did.
  64. >You learned that the first time you were there.
  65. "I may have asked a few too many questions."
  66. >"That was over questions?"
  67. >Her stern look is completely ruined by the bemused look in her eyes.
  68. "I was genuinely curious as to why people seem to disregard entire sections of supposedly divine words, all while claiming that their beliefs are right."
  69. >If your answer shocked her, she didn't show it.
  70. >"You know Anonymous, I did some checking into your records... you are near the top of every class you take, even Ms.Faith's. What I don't understand is why you are always brought up here by her. I would understand if it was more then just her, but your other teachers have nothing but good to say about you..."
  71. >You were a little shocked.
  72. >The last school you were at the teachers couldn't have given less of a damn about you, or what you did.
  73. >"I am going to have to call your home."
  74. >You look at the clock.
  75. >You would be safe.
  76. >Chances were your mother would still be passed out in an alcohol and pill fueled sleep at this point in the day.
  77. >"I know you are considered a mature student but- Anonymous? Is there some kind of problem?"
  78. "No. Call away."
  79. >Celestia gives you an odd look but calls continues anyway.
  80. *ring-ring*
  81. >that was one.
  82. *ring-ring*
  83. >two, one more and your home free.
  84. *ring-ri*
  85. >"Hello, ma'am. This is Principal Celestia-"
  86. >You couldn't hear the rest.
  87. >You knew when you got home, you were dead.
  88.
  89. *****************
  90.
  91. >You are Celestia.
  92. >You could see Anonymous's face turn a sickly pale colour. True fear etched his features.
  93. >You actually regretted having to do your job in this case
  94. >The way his mother spoke to you sent a shiver down your spine.
  95. >This was not the voice of a concerned mother.
  96. >It was more like barely contained rage.
  97. >You've dealt with some angry parents in your time, but this...
  98. >This was different.
  99. "No, there won't be any detention today. I'll send him straight home."
  100. >If it was possible, Anonymous paled further.
  101. "Thank you. Good-bye."
  102. *click*
  103. >You turn a quizzical eye to the young man in your office.
  104. "Anonymous? Are you ill? Do you need to see the nurse?"
  105. >His emerald eyes looked like leaden orbs.
  106. >"No ma'am. If there is nothing further, I would like to return to class."
  107. >This was completely unlike him.
  108. "Are you sure there is nothing I can do for you?"
  109. >His eyes turn sharp and piercing.
  110. >You could almost feel the venom from his next words.
  111. >"You've done more then enough already, believe me."
  112. >You were shocked.
  113. >Anonymous never acted like this.
  114. >You almost wanted to press further.
  115. >Though as you consider what to ask all his previous fire dies.
  116. "No, Anonymous. I have nothing further to say to you today."
  117. >He rises without comment.
  118. >The door swings open and closed.
  119. >No cheeky smile?
  120. >No "See you tomorrow Celestia?"
  121. >What exactly had you done?
  122. >Come the end of the day, you briefly explain to Ms.Faith that Anonymous was punished accordingly.
  123. >You felt a pit form in your stomach.
  124. >You would check up on him tomorrow, you decide.
  125. >That does nothing to assuage the gnawing feeling in your gut.
  126. >Tomorrow can't come soon enough.
  127.
  128. >He wasn't in class today, nor was he in at all for the rest of the week.
  129. >You can't say you weren't at least a little worried for the young man.
  130. >He seemed so despondent.
  131. >Even when being reprimanded he usually managed a smirk.
  132. >He just looked so... dead.
  133. >This wasn't the normal "prankster got caught"
  134. >This was something more.
  135. >No amount of paperwork would let you forget that face.
  136. >Everyday 2:15 would roll around and he wasn't there.
  137. >Your routine had been disrupted.
  138. >You felt out of your depth for the first time since the 'magic' incidents.
  139. >You resolved to speak to him the next day he was in.
  140. >Something was seriously wrong.
  141.
  142. **************
  143.
  144. >You are Anon.
  145. >You were laying on the hard floor where your mattress once lay.
  146. >You vividly remembered when you got back from school.
  147. >Your mother was furious.
  148. >You remembered her words.
  149. >You remembered the insults.
  150. >You even recall the glass bottle she threw at you.
  151. >You didn't want to, but you remember the way her fists clenched.
  152. >You didn't see them hit you.
  153. >You couldn't feel her foot jamming into your crumpled form.
  154. >You vaguely recall dragging yourself to your now empty room.
  155. >Sure, it was spartan before but now?
  156. >Not even your bed remained.
  157. >She must of taken it from you when you collapsed.
  158. >While you mentally couldn't remember, your body did.
  159. >Black and purple bruises covered your chest and back.
  160. >You couldn't stay home forever.
  161. >You couldn't run either.
  162. >You curled into yourself atop a pile of dirty laundry.
  163. >You didn't want to go to back to school on Monday.
  164. >But anywhere was better then here.
  165.
  166. ****************
  167.
  168. >You are Celestia.
  169. >You arrive at Canterlot High earlier then normal.
  170. >You had to check.
  171. >No sick calls today.
  172. >You considered, albeit briefly, how strange it was that you were obsessing over one student so much.
  173. >It really effected you more then you realized.
  174. >Your date on the weekend was a total flop.
  175. >You could hardly remember what happened.
  176. >You needed your routine back.
  177. >You rationalized it because of his reaction to both the phone call and your offer for to help.
  178. >Something about that whole scene just struck a wrong cord in you.
  179. >A tiny part of you, screamed that it was so much more then that.
  180. >Best not think about that.
  181. >Your day passes in a blur.
  182. >2:10pm.
  183. >He'd be here any minute.
  184. >You turned your chair so you could watch the time tick.
  185. >2:11pm.
  186. >You don't recall the last time you had been this anxious.
  187. >2:11pm
  188. >Damn it couldn't time go any faster?
  189. >You look over you desk at the scattered papers.
  190. >You should really tidy those up before he gets here.
  191. >...
  192. >...
  193. >...
  194. >All done.
  195. >2:23pm.
  196. >Where was he?
  197. >You knew he was in class.
  198. >You had spent almost an entire week worrying about what you might have done.
  199. >Screw it.
  200. >You grab the phone and activate the PA system.
  201. "Would Anonymous please report to the Principal's office immediately. That's Anonymous, to the Principal's office. Thank you."
  202. >Sometimes being in charge was a good thing.
  203. >Now you just had to wait.
  204.
  205. **********
  206.
  207. >You are Anon.
  208. >You are broken out of your trance-like state by Ms.Faith.
  209. >"You need to go see Ms. Celestia immediately. Take your bags with you."
  210. >The usual edge to her voice is gone.
  211. >You hope you don't look even half as bad as you feel.
  212. >Careful not to rouse any suspicion, you slowly pull your back pack on and head out the door.
  213. >You weren't sure what Celestia wanted to see you for.
  214. >You were being good today.
  215. >No questions.
  216. >No backtalk.
  217. >Just solid work.
  218. >You approach Celestia's open door.
  219. >"Anon? Please come in."
  220.
  221. >You are Celestia.
  222. >The young man that enters your office is nothing like the one from a week ago.
  223. >He looks like a pale shadow.
  224. >Gone is the mischief in his eyes.
  225. >The straightness of his back.
  226. "Yes, come in please. Have a seat."
  227. >He moves almost mechanically.
  228. >You shut the door and look him over.
  229. "Anon. I would like to talk to you... if that's alright."
  230. >He turns his head to look at you, though he seems to be looking through you instead of at you.
  231. >"About?"
  232. >Even his voice is flat and lifeless.
  233. "You were gone for an entire week. I was wondering if something was wrong."
  234. >Anon's eyes bored into you.
  235. >"Nothing that I think I want to discuss with the person that caused it."
  236. >You didn't expect that.
  237. "If I did something-"
  238. >His impassive face twisted in pain.
  239. >"Did something? DID SOMETHING? Because of you I went home to my horrid bitch of a mother that decided that after she verbally tore me apart, she might take a few kidney shots while she was at it. But that wasn't the worst part. No, not even close, the worst part wasn't even when she beat me unconscious. No the real kicker was after literally dragging myself to my room only to find that she took everything - EVERYTHING - I owned away from me, including my mattress and blankets, so I have had to sleep on my disgusting laundry so I would at least have a soft place to rest my head. THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!
  240. >You were stunned into silence.
  241. >"Don't believe me?"
  242. >Anon moved his hands and pulled of his shirt.
  243. >His entire body shook. Tears now fell from his face.
  244. >Black, blue and sickly green splotches marred Anon's normally pale skin.
  245. >"Are you g-gonna just say that I fell-"
  246. >You open your mouth.
  247. >"Just like every other school did? Clumsy Anon fell down the stairwell again."
  248. "Anon..."
  249. >You were on the verge of tears yourself.
  250. >Anon's hysterics only get worse.
  251. >"Are you gonna lie to the police? Tell them nothing's wrong? T-t-t-tell them I did it to myself?"
  252. >A-a-are y-y-"
  253. >His stuttering and shaking got worse and worse.
  254. >Your hand moved of it's own accord.
  255. >You reached out a hand towards Anon, and he batted it away.
  256. "Shhhhh..."
  257. >You attempt to soothe.
  258. >"yyour juss like them."
  259. >Clearly regular methods wouldn't work.
  260. >He took a moment to feebly attempt to stop the tears flowing freely from his face.
  261. >You take the chance.
  262. >Before he can stop you, you grabbed him as tightly as you dare and you pull him towards you.
  263. >He squirms briefly before finally succumbing to your embrace.
  264. > His tears stain your blouse.
  265. >You don't care.
  266.
  267. ******
  268.
  269. >You are Anon.
  270. >You had just snapped at Celestia.
  271. >Your carefully constructed facade fell apart.
  272. >You didn't want to let her in.
  273. >You didn't want to become a weeping mess in the middle of your school principal's office.
  274. >You didn't want any of this.
  275. >Not again.
  276. >You changed schools over four times in the past two years.
  277. >For over twice that, you put up with your mother's abuse.
  278. >But now.
  279. >Now all you could think about was how nice it felt to be held.
  280. >You wept not only for your body, but for your childhood denied.
  281. >"Let it out Anon... I'm here for you..."
  282. >If she said it.
  283. >God help you if she said it.
  284. >You might even believe her.
  285. >Your mouth flaps open and closed, failing to speak what's on your troubled mind.
  286. >"Don't you worry Anon..."
  287. >You held Celestia even closer.
  288. >"No one is going to hurt you again... I promise I'll protect you..."
  289. >That was it.
  290. >You squeezed her as tight as you could, ignoring the pain from your bruises.
  291. >Words come to your lips.
  292. >They are broken and tired but you can speak.
  293. "H...help me."
  294. >You felt a wetness on your neck.
  295. >She's crying.
  296. >You try to push back, to look at her.
  297. >"I'm so sorry."
  298. >She repeats it over and over again
  299. >Standing together.
  300. >Your tears stop.
  301. >Your shaking ceases.
  302. >The school bell rings.
  303. >...
  304. >There you stay.
  305. >A pregnant quiet passes between you.
  306. >"Everything is going to be okay..."
  307. >And for that one moment... you believe it.
  308.
  309. >You are Celestia.
  310. >You had expected something was wrong but...
  311. >This was definitely not it.
  312. >You glanced at the clock.
  313. >5:13 pm.
  314. >Anon finally calmed down enough to speak without his voice cracking.
  315. >"So... what happens now?"
  316. >A very good question.
  317. >What were you going to do?
  318. "Well, we need to get you someplace safe. Do you have any friends or relatives that could take you in for a few nights?"
  319. >Anon shook his head no.
  320. >"Grandparents passed a couple years ago, and I have been moving schools so much, I haven't really had a chance to make new friends."
  321. >You let go Anon and start gathering your things.
  322. "Easy enough. Would your mother be out at this time?"
  323. >Anon looks at you, puzzled at the question.
  324. >"Uh... yeah, she works the night shift. She'll be gone until tomorrow morning... why?"
  325. >You grab your purse, and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
  326. "We are going to grab you some clothes."
  327. >He looks to your hand, then your face.
  328. >"Why... where am I going to go?"
  329. "Your going to come stay with me until this is properly resolved."
  330. >His actually jumps at the shock of your suggestion.
  331. >"But that wouldn't be-"
  332. "You said it yourself, I got you into this so now I am going to help get you out. Besides, it will be much easier to protect you if you are close by, then if I left you at some hostel or youth shelter. No more arguments."
  333. >You liked this plan.
  334. >Anon seemed hesitant but relented none the less.
  335. "Get whatever you need and meet me at the front entrance. I'll drive to your house then to mine."
  336. >He nods once.
  337. >You open the door and usher him out.
  338. >You leave the rest of today's paperwork on your desk.
  339. >Tonight you would be having a guest over, it would be rude to ignore them for something as trivial as paperwork.
  340. >Anon starts walking away, presumably going to his locker.
  341. >He stops of a moment but doesn't turn.
  342. >"Thank you... Celestia."
  343. >That little voice from earlier screamed again at the way he said your name.
  344. >You new there was something more to it then just helping a student out.
  345. >This was far beyond just that.
  346. >Not tonight would you listen to that little voice.
  347. >But...
  348. >Maybe.
  349. >Soon.
  350. >You head for the school front with a tiny smile on.
  351.
  352. *********
  353.
  354. >You are Anon.
  355. >Did that really just happen?
  356. >The principal was going to take you to her place for a few days.
  357. >That was pretty much your number one fantasy.
  358. >Shame about the circumstances.
  359. >You shake your head.
  360. >Screw off hormones, you really didn't feel like that right now.
  361. >You quickly put your unneeded text books into your locker, and headed for the front of the school
  362. >You need the space to take your clothes with you.
  363. >You dared to look to the brighter side of things.
  364. >Celestia would help you.
  365. >She wouldn't let you down like the others...
  366. >Right?
  367. >You had to move schools because of the rumors that circulated.
  368. >You wished that you could have run away.
  369. >Your mother always played the innocent victim card and every single person would flock to her defense.
  370. >You were just some teen with daddy issues.
  371. >Just another depressed failure.
  372. >Your poor poor mother...
  373. >You shook the memories away.
  374. >"Anon? Are you alright?"
  375. >Celestia's voice shakes you from your revere.
  376. >You were in the front hall.
  377. >"Anon... Is something wrong?"
  378. "Just... remembering something."
  379. >Her soft smile falters.
  380. >"Want to talk about it?"
  381. >A little voice told you to tell her everything.
  382. "Maybe a little later... please."
  383. >She nods and leads you to her car.
  384. >"When you are ready, I will listen. Now where am I taking you?"
  385. "Canterlot, Lower District, Avenue T. House number 23."
  386. >The poor district.
  387. >"I know the place... you live there?"
  388. >You nod.
  389. >The cars engine hummed.
  390. >You sit quietly, staring out the window watching the scenery blur by.
  391. >Soft music plays on the radio.
  392. >You felt sick knowing you where going back there.
  393. >Something warm was placed on your leg.
  394. >You turn to see Celestia resting her hand on you.
  395. >"It's okay... I'm be with you the whole time."
  396. >Tentatively, you move your hand to cover hers.
  397. >It was such a small gesture.
  398. >Such a little thing.
  399. >But your fear disappeared.
  400. >For the first time since your dad disappeared, you felt safe.
  401.
  402. **************
  403.
  404. >You are Celestia.
  405. >You let out a sigh of relief as he covered your hand and gave you a soft smirk.
  406. >You were almost there.
  407. >You were glad that he was looking back out the window.
  408. >You wouldn't have wanted him to see you blushing.
  409. >Avenue R...
  410. >Avenue S...
  411. >Here it was.
  412. >"It's on the right."
  413. >The house in question wouldn't have looked out of place in a horror movie.
  414. >The roof seemed to sag.
  415. >The front window was covered by a haphazard sheet of plywood.
  416. >The lawn was unkempt and heavily infested with weeds.
  417. >"Home sweet home..."
  418. >Sarcasm.
  419. >At least he was attempting to joke with you.
  420. >You get out of the car and start heading for the front door.
  421. >Anon shakes his head.
  422. >"That door doesn't work anymore. We have to go into through the back."
  423. >You wanted to ask just how anyone could live like this.
  424. >You allow yourself to be lead to a battered screen door.
  425. >"I'm the first door on the left upstairs. Mind the 3rd step, it's rotted."
  426. >You tried not to think about all the mold and other various detritus that seemed to cover every surface of the kitchen you entered through.
  427. >"It's okay... I know it's disgusting. Had I known I was going to be having a pretty girl over, I would have tidied up a little."
  428. >You feel warmth in your cheeks.
  429. >He shoots you a wary grin and heads up to the stairs.
  430. >"I'll be down in a few minutes. I'd tell you to have a seat but I wouldn't either."
  431. >You scanned the living room that was just off the hall you stood in. You could see empty pill and liquor bottles strewn about the room.
  432. >You shudder to think what else Anonymous had to deal with living here.
  433. >You also resolved to make sure he never had to again.
  434. >Footsteps down the stairs, revealed Anon caring a basket of clothing.
  435. "Are you all done?"
  436. >"Yeah."
  437. "Is there anything else you want to take with you?"
  438. >He shook his head sadly.
  439. >"She took everything Celestia, and knowing her she sold it for booze... or worse."
  440. >You heart went out to him.
  441. "Let's get back to my place then."
  442. >You wanted to get out of there as fast as you could.
  443. >Anon seemed to share the sentiment.
  444. >You opened your car's trunk and helped Anon throw his clothing in.
  445. >You would deal with all that later.
  446. >Once again the car's engined hummed as you drove off.
  447. >After a few minutes, Anon spoke.
  448. >"So... where is home?"
  449. >Part of you wondered if there was something more to that question.
  450. >"First, we are going out to dinner. Then we are going to the Upper district."
  451. >Anon stayed quiet for a few moments before starting to chuckle.
  452. >You spared him a glance and a smile.
  453. >It was nice to here a genuine laugh from him.
  454. "Care to share the joke?"
  455. >"The radio. Turn it up."
  456. >You oblige.
  457. >A song from the early 80s comes on.
  458. >"-town girl. She's been living in her uptown world. I bet she's never had a backstr-"
  459. >Your laughter filled the car.
  460. >You couldn't help it.
  461. >After the song ended, Anon started to make small talk.
  462. >His seemed to sit straighter.
  463. >His eyes were back to their emerald hue.
  464. >The Anonymous you knew was back.
  465. >Your little voice grew a little bigger, and louder.
  466. >You fight it down.
  467. >Tonight would be a long night dealing with police and youth services.
  468. >But for right now...
  469. >You joined in with Anonymous's idle chatter.
  470. >You couldn't help but smile.
  471. >Not tonight...
  472. >But judging by the way you put him at ease...
  473. >And they way he made you smile...
  474. >It would be soon.
  475.
  476. ********************
  477.
  478. >Considering how late the hour was growing, going out for dinner wasn't going to be an option.
  479. "Do you mind if I just order us something for dinner when we get back to my place? I didn't even think how long it was going to take to get across town and back."
  480. >Anon looked at the console clock.
  481. >"Geeze, that late already? I'd be more then happy to have anything Celestia."
  482. >He sounds... hopeful?
  483. "Well I am not really sure what you would like. I mean, we still need to call the police and report this and set up a time to go in and speak with them. Is there any food you really like?"
  484. >Anon seems to pause and consider his words carefully.
  485. >"Most days I don't really get the chance to eat anything. You saw how gross my house was..."
  486. >You frown.
  487. "It's a good thing then, I'll get us a big meal and you can take some of it with you tomorrow."
  488. >He blinks at your generosity.
  489. >"Not that I don't appreciate everything you are doing for me but... why are you going so far out of your way to help me? No one else has ever really bothered."
  490. >You are a bit taken aback.
  491. "Then everyone else hasn't been doing their job properly. I already told you Anon, I was going to protect you and I always keep my word."
  492. >You drive for a little longer before coming to a large gated condominium complex.
  493. >"This is -"
  494. "Canterlot Heights. I have an condo here."
  495. >"I.. I couldn't."
  496. "You are. No arguments."
  497. >You drive to the door and a valet comes to your car window.
  498. >"Shall I park the car for you madam?"
  499. "If you would. Also, there is a bundle of laundry in my trunk, please see that it is brought to my apartment once I've settled in for the evening,"
  500. >"Of course madam."
  501. >You open your car door and start getting out.
  502. "Anon, are you coming?"
  503. >He dumbly nods.
  504. >You can't say you are really all that surprised, Canterlot Heights was one of the ritziest places in town.
  505. >It was complete dumb luck you ended up with your home there in the first place.
  506. "Come on Anon, you can gawk later."
  507. >That seemed to wake him up.
  508. >He followed you across the main lobby to the elevator.
  509. >You both climb in and you produce a key.
  510. >"Your house key?"
  511. >Anon inquires. Genuinely confused by your actions.
  512. "My floor key."
  513. >You slip your key into the panels lock and press 7.
  514. >The elevator hums in ascent.
  515. >Anon looks at you in disbelief.
  516. >"You are a High School principal and you live in the most expensive neighborhood in Canterlot? Just how?"
  517. >You giggle.
  518. "I'll tell you later, for now this is our floor."
  519. >As if on cue, the elevator dings and opens to a small foyer.
  520. "The front door is over there. We'll get you settled in first."
  521. >Inwardly, you laughed at Anonymous's reactions.
  522. >You wonder if he would laugh if he knew he would be the first man you actually get to see your home since you got it.
  523. >With a click you swing open the door.
  524.
  525. *************
  526.
  527. >You are Anon.
  528. >Everything seemed to blur together after you got to Celestia's home.
  529. >A simple take out meal was ordered while Celestia phoned the non-emergency police line.
  530. >You were given a quick tour and currently, you sat in the living room.
  531. >"Yes. Yes, Friday afternoon would be perfect. Yes. Thank you. Have a good evening."
  532. >You hear the click of Celestia's phone and the soft patter of her feet on the wood floor.
  533. >"I hope you left some for me."
  534. >You turn your head towards her voice and your witty retort dies in your throat.
  535. >Her hair is down.
  536. >Her blouse is open just one button more then usual.
  537. >You almost bite your tongue to keep from drooling.
  538. "S-so... We are going to see the officers on Friday then?"
  539. >Celestia gracefully sits down on the couch beside you and nods.
  540. >"There will be a lawyer and a youth worker there for you."
  541. >You nod.
  542. >"They are going to want to see want she did to you and they are going to call her in for questioning after we speak to them. It will be on a different day so we wouldn't cross paths at any point."
  543. >You release a breath you didn't know you were holding.
  544. "Celestia, I-"
  545. >"Tia. In my home, and when we are alone please refer to me as Tia."
  546. "Tia then... I can't thank you enough for what you are doing for me. Earlier today, on my way to meet you... I thought that you were going to be just like all the others. All talk. Turns out.. I was wrong."
  547. >Celestia moved closer and slung and arm around you.
  548. >"Anon, I care about you. And I am truly sorry that I had caused you pain, even inadvertently."
  549. >You lean into her.
  550. >She didn't mean 'you' you, she must of meant her students.
  551. >She would do this for anyone.
  552. >right?
  553. "You were only doing your job."
  554. >"Yes but in fulfilling my duties as a Principal, I failed to help you as a person. I only hope you can forgive me."
  555. >Forgive her?
  556. >She thought you were still mad at her?
  557. "Tia, I'm not mad at you. You had to do it. I was a constant disruption to the Ms.Faith and you-"
  558. >Celestia's rich laugh fills the room.
  559. "Care to share with the rest of the class?"
  560. >You decide to use her words from earlier.
  561. >"You weren't a disruption for me Anon."
  562. >You blink.
  563. >"Do you have any idea how nice it was to have someone with a normal issue come to my office? No magic or demons. Just an old teacher set in her ways, mad about a curious mind. It was nearly cathartic."
  564. >You had heard about all the weird happenstance but you never really considered how that would have effected anyone long term.
  565. >"And with those girls bringing the school together, I can't say I have really had that much to do lately."
  566. >You had some vague idea of who they were but you never personally talked to any of them.
  567. >"But, that's enough about that. I need a shower and you need to get to bed. Tomorrow is a school day you know."
  568. >You smirked.
  569. >"We can talk to about this more tomorrow."
  570. >You head for the guest room.
  571. >Come Friday everything was going to change.
  572. >For now, you just wanted to rest.
  573.
  574. *******************
  575.
  576. >You are Celestia.
  577. >Currently, you are in the shower washing your hair.
  578. >The near scalding hot water cascades over your body.
  579. >Seems like the little voice won out in the end.
  580. >You had told him you liked him.
  581. >If he didn't like you in that way you could always say it was from a professional stand point.
  582. >Pretty sneaky.
  583. >You reach for your body wash and find it missing.
  584. >Damn, you must have given it to Luna last time she was over.
  585. >You could just go get it.
  586. >No.
  587. >That wasn't going to work.
  588. >It was in the guest bathroom.
  589. >Which was in the guest room.
  590. >Which Anon was currently in.
  591. >You could get fully dressed and get it.
  592. >You could even call for Anon to bring it to you.
  593. >Or.
  594. >Or...
  595. >Yes. That was so much more fun.
  596. >You couldn't.
  597. >That would hardly be fair.
  598. >Though it has been a while since you were able to be that kind of flirty.
  599. >You turned the water off and grabbed a towel.
  600. >You saw Anon's eyes on you earlier in the living room.
  601. >If nothing else, you might be able to give him something to think about besides what happened to him the past week.
  602. >Securing the towel in place you quietly pad your way down the hall to Anon's room.
  603. *knock knock knock*
  604. "Anon? Are you still up? Can I come in?"
  605. >A muffled voice responds.
  606. >"Yeah, I'm still awake. Sure."
  607.
  608. ******************************
  609. >You are Anon.
  610. >You lay on the bed, now propped against the headboard.
  611. >There was a lady at your door.
  612. >And that lady at your door was a dripping wet, towel draped Celestia.
  613. >Blood rushed both ways.
  614. >Thank god for the comforter over your lap.
  615. "Ti-Tia! What are d-doing here?"
  616. >You stuttered.
  617. >You couldn't help it.
  618. >"I came for two things actually. One, my sister stayed here the other evening and I had to lend her my body wash, so I have come to retrieve it. The other I wanted to make sure you were comfortable enough."
  619. >You certainly were before she came to your borrowed room in only a towel.
  620. >"If you are cold at all you are free to go to the linen closet and get some more blankets."
  621. "I d-d-don't think that will b-be a problem."
  622. >You aren't able to look at her anymore.
  623. >You hear soft pads of her wet feet on the hardwood going into the bathroom than to the side of the bed.
  624. >The shower warmed skin of her hand pressed against your forehead.
  625. >"Anon, your sweating. Are you feeling alright?"
  626. >You close your eyes and nod.
  627. >You really wanted to look more but-
  628. >"Oh my goodness. I am so sorry! It's been a long time since I've had anyone other then my sister with here-"
  629. >Oh god that is not helping.
  630. >The sound of her feet pad to the door.
  631. >"Good night Anon. Sweet dreams."
  632. >As she closed the door you could have sworn you heard her say "At least I remembered my towel this time."
  633. >Whelp. You were in for a long, hard night.
  634.
  635. *****
  636.
  637. >You are Celestia.
  638. >You are back in your shower, lathering up your body.
  639. >You hoped he heard the part about the towel.
  640. >It was all in good fun.
  641. >For you.
  642. >He was trying so hard not to stare.
  643. >It was actually rather endearing.
  644. >You resolve to make it up to him tomorrow morning with some breakfast.
  645. >Maybe listening to that little voice once in awhile wasn't so bad.
  646. >And maybe once most of the has been resolved, you could 'forget' your towel...
  647.
  648. *****
  649.
  650. >You know you shouldn't...
  651. >but after your shower you quietly creep back down the hall to the guest bedroom.
  652. >you open the door just a crack.
  653. >Anon was sleeping.
  654. >You could see him shivering a little.
  655. >You moved to the side of the bed.
  656. "I told you I would take care of you."
  657. >You whisper as you pull the comforter up over his shoulder.
  658. "I won't let her hurt you again."
  659. >You lean down and kiss him on the temple.
  660. >You can see a smile spread on Anon's sleeping face.
  661. >You stifle a yawn and quietly walk back to your room.
  662. >When you finally lay down, exhaustion causes your eye lids to droop.
  663. >This was gonna be a big week for you.
  664. >And an even bigger one for Anon.
  665. >For now you close your eyes.
  666. >Sleep comes easy.
  667.
  668. ******
  669.
  670. >You are Anon.
  671. >You awaken in a room that was not your own.
  672. >As you are about to scream, you recall the events of the past day.
  673. >You were in Celestia's guest room.
  674. >Something pleasant was in the air.
  675. >Coffee.
  676. >You look over at the clock.
  677. >6:43am.
  678. >Seems like Celestia was an early riser.
  679. >You don't recall the last time you got up before the sun rise.
  680. >Still in your pajamas, you make your way to the kitchen.
  681. >Celestia stands at the stove in front of a simmering pan.
  682. >She hums a familiar tune that you can't quite place.
  683. "Good morning Tia."
  684. >You stifle a yawn. It was too damn early for this.
  685. >She turns to you with a smile on her face.
  686. >You absently make a mental image of the way her white silk nightgown sways.
  687. >She giggles.
  688. >"Not much of a morning person are you."
  689. >It was more of a statement then a question.
  690. >"Not that I blame you. This is a little early, even for me. Help yourself to some coffee. It's Hazelnut."
  691. >Requiring no further prompting, you walk over to the coffee maker and pour yourself a mug.
  692. >You sip at the warm liquid.
  693. "Thanks. For all this."
  694. >She turns back to the pan.
  695. >"Have a seat, breakfast will be ready shortly."
  696. >You seat yourself at the small table facing Celestia.
  697. >She continues to hum her little tune.
  698. >As you sip at your coffee, your mind flutters back to a time when your father was still with you.
  699.
  700. *****
  701.
  702. >You are Anon, 8 years old.
  703. >Your dad was cooking some breakfast for you before school.
  704. >"Hey champ! You're looking a little rough this morning."
  705. >He would say this to you every day.
  706. "Yeah, well you should see the other guy."
  707. >You didn't get why, but your dad would always laugh his deep baritone laugh when you responded that way.
  708. >It could fill the whole house with the sound.
  709. >"Good for you! Nice to know my little man is growing up tough."
  710. >You sit in your chair in the kitchen. Watching your dad work.
  711. >He beams at you.
  712. >"If you do good on that test of your today, what do you say we go out for some ice cream?"
  713. >You nod fervently.
  714. >Your mother walked in with a great big grin on her face.
  715. >"Ice cream, huh. Is this a boys only thing, or can mommy come to?"
  716. >You dad snickers and pecks his wife on the cheek.
  717. >"What do you say kiddo? Can she come to?"
  718. >You get up and give them a big a hug as you can manage.
  719. "Of course mommy can come with us!"
  720. >Your dad laughs.
  721. >"Well champ the eggs are ready! Go sit down while I plate them up."
  722. >You do as you are told and you sit patiently.
  723. >You see your mother smiling and laughing.
  724. >You see your dad with his tongue sticking out slightly as he plated your breakfast.
  725. >You remember them saying they loved you.
  726. "I love you too..."
  727.
  728. *****
  729.
  730. >"Anon. Anon!"
  731. >You shake the memories from your head and look at Celestia, her eyes are filled with worry.
  732. >"Anon are you alright? One minute you were having your coffee, the next you looked like you were going to faint!"
  733. >Your voice is soft.
  734. "I was... remembering my dad."
  735. >Celestia puts a plate in front of you.
  736. >Eggs, sunny side up. Two slices of toast.
  737. >Celestia still looked worried.
  738. >"Would you like to talk about it?"
  739. >You nod.
  740. >You needed to get this off your chest.
  741. "You see...."
  742.
  743. >You are Celestia.
  744. >"You see back when I was a kid, my mother wasn't like she is now."
  745. >You are careful to note the different nomenclature Anon uses for his parents.
  746. >"She used to be just like him. Bright smiles. Singing and dancing. Normal parent stuff."
  747. >You nod.
  748. >It wasn't exactly an uncommon story.
  749. >Some spouses can't handle if their partner leaves.
  750. >"My Dad would always come and pick me up after school. Everyday without fall. One late winter afternoon he just... didn't. The school had to call her because I wasn't picked up yet."
  751. >You could see Anon frowning.
  752. >"My mom filed a missing person report with the police the next day. After about a week... she started drinking."
  753. >Anon's hands clasped the edge of the table.
  754. >"She started telling me it was my fault that he disappeared. That I somehow disappointed him."
  755. >Anon's knuckles turned white from grabbing so hard.
  756. >"I thought... I thought that if I did better in school... maybe he'd come back."
  757. >you reached a hand over to Anon's.
  758. >He gingerly holds your hand and continues.
  759. >"I tried so hard, between my mother's insults and my hope that he would come back I became top of my classes."
  760. >Anon's voice cracks a little.
  761. >"I had this fantasy... I would be at graduation and my dad would be there... sitting with my mom. We'd be a family again. Just like before."
  762. >Anon visibly started to shake.
  763. >"I... I don't get it. Why didn't he come for me? Did he not want me anymore? Did I do something wrong?"
  764. >You took both his hands in yours and rubbed little circles on the back of them.
  765. >He looked down at your hands for a moment and sniffled.
  766. >"Why doesn't he want me Tia? Why did he have to leave? What did I do wrong?"
  767. >He blamed himself.
  768. >All these years he blamed himself.
  769. >"But that wasn't the last of it. Every year Mom got meaner and meaner. If I did something wrong, I'd get slapped. If I back talked, she'd hit me."
  770. >Your own tears slipped down your face.
  771. >"After I got into high school, just her seeing me would make her mad. Some days were worse then others..."
  772. >You noticed he trailed off.
  773. "Anon... if this is too much, or this is hurting you, you don't have to tell me."
  774. >He looked at you partially crazed.
  775. >Whatever that had been keeping this all hidden was shattered.
  776. >He looks bad at your conjoined hands and squeezes.
  777. >"One night..."
  778. >His voice was barely a whisper.
  779. >"One night she left work early... It was the night before my 16th birthday... She came home and was yelling nonsense. I figured I'd play dead. She usually didn't bother me if I was sleeping...."
  780. >You move yourself closer to Anon when you feel his hands tremble.
  781. >"I could smell it... the liquor on her breath. She opened my door and came in."
  782. >Your heart started racing.
  783. >"She just said that I looked just like-- That I looked just like him."
  784. >You didn't want to know, but you couldn't tell him to stop.
  785. >"She... she climbed into bed beside me... I could feel her breath on my neck. I could smell her sweat and the cheap booze she was drinking."
  786. >You felt sick.
  787. >Anon's composure shattered.
  788. >"I could hear clothes rustling... I just wanted it to end."
  789. >He could barely choke out his words.
  790. >"The last thing I remember from that night was her biting my ear and saying 'Happy Birthday.'"
  791. >The secret was out.
  792. >You were as still as a statue.
  793. >You knew what happened.
  794. >He knew what happened.
  795. >You knew Anon's shame.
  796. >He had no more tears.
  797. >His body wracked with heaving.
  798. >That mischievous young man from weeks ago was gone.
  799. >All you saw before you was a broken and scared child, hurt by the one he needed most.
  800. >You could see Anon raising his head.
  801. >He looked at you.
  802. >His eyes pleaded with you to say something.
  803. >Anything.
  804. >You weren't sure what to say.
  805. >You opened your mouth to talk anyway...
  806.
  807. *****
  808.
  809. >You are Anon.
  810. >You had just told the only person in recent memory to show you even an inkling of kindness towards you your darkest shameful memory.
  811. >Words failed you now.
  812. >You begged her with your eyes.
  813. >You needed to be told... something.
  814. >Did she still want to help you?
  815. >Would she still be there for you?
  816. >You mind swam with a million questions.
  817. >She still just stared.
  818. >You close your eyes.
  819. >Why did you tell her!?
  820. >How stupid could you be?!
  821. >You felt her hands slip from yours.
  822. >She was leaving you!
  823. >Just like everyone else!
  824. >No one wanted something as damaged as you!
  825. >You berated yourself over and over.
  826. >Then.
  827. >You felt something warm wrap around you.
  828. >It pulled you to something soft.
  829. >You felt something softer than silk touch your forehead.
  830. >You opened your eyes to see Celestia kissing your forehead.
  831. >She was holding you to her chest.
  832. >She rested her head on top of yours.
  833. >You could hear her gentle heartbeat.
  834. *Ba-thump*
  835. >"Anon..."
  836. *Ba-thump*
  837. >"I don't know what to say-"
  838. *Ba-thump*
  839. >"-To make it all better-"
  840. *Ba-thump*
  841. >"-But I can promise-"
  842. *Ba-thump*
  843. >"-You'll never have to go back-"
  844. *Ba-thump*
  845. >"You can stay here-"
  846. >She gentle pushes you away so she can look you in the eyes.
  847. >"-with me."
  848. >Your eyes grew wide.
  849.
  850. ***********************************
  851.
  852. >You are Celestia.
  853. >You knew it was a little quick, but you couldn't let him go back there.
  854. >Not after what she did to him.
  855. >You could see his eyes widen.
  856. >You braced yourself.
  857. >"Do you... mean that?"
  858. >His voice is so quiet
  859. >He seems so frail.
  860. "I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it Anon."
  861. >He looks terrified.
  862. >"You aren't going to just throw me away?"
  863. >You shake your head
  864. "No Anon, you are always welcome in my home."
  865. >His face lit up like a Christmas tree.
  866. >"I don't know how I can repay you for this!"
  867. >You have a few ideas.
  868. >But most of those would have to wait.
  869. "First things first, we need to get ready to get going."
  870. >He nods and heads back to the guest room.
  871. >You look at the untouched plate of food and sigh.
  872. >You could always cook again tomorrow.
  873. >You headed to your own room to get ready for the day.
  874. >You were still going to pursue Anon, but you were going to take it at a much slower pace.
  875. >You strip off your night clothes and get ready for the day.
  876. >After a morning like that, you were already pretty exhausted.
  877.
  878. *****
  879.
  880. >You are Anon.
  881. >Since your morning talk with Celestia you had felt infinitely better
  882. >The week flew by.
  883. >No more trips up to the principal's office.
  884. >You felt genuinely good about yourself for the first time in forever.
  885. >It was Friday afternoon and Celestia had called you out of class early to take you to the police station.
  886. >"Here we are Anon. Are you ready?"
  887. >You were both standing in front of the Police station.
  888. "As I'll ever be."
  889. >You were nervous to say the least.
  890. >You were happy enough to have a solid non-leaking roof over your head.
  891. >You knew you had to do it though.
  892. >Celestia slipped her hand in yours.
  893. >"I'll be right here."
  894. >Side by side you entered the station.
  895.
  896. *****
  897.
  898. >You are Celestia
  899. >You walk with Anon to the receptionist.
  900. "We are here to see the Police Chief."
  901. >The women behind the desk nods and hits a button.
  902. >You turn to an anxious Anon.
  903. "It's almost over."
  904. >He sheepishly nods at you.
  905. >A male voice rings out
  906. >"Celestia! It's so good to see you! It's a shame about the circumstances though. Is this the lad in question?"
  907. "It is. Anonymous, I'd like you to meet Police chief Burns. But before we get any further into this, perhaps we should head to your office?"
  908. >"I was made aware of the sensitive nature of the case in question. You know you'll have to have to wait outside right?"
  909. "I am aware."
  910. >You give Anon a quick squeeze before he enters the chief's office.
  911. "It's going to be just fine Anonymous, I promise. Just answer the chief's questions and then we'll get going home."
  912. >Both of them disappear into the office.
  913. >Now, you wait.
  914. >You are Anon.
  915. >It had been over an hour you spent recounting everything that had happened to you.
  916. >Chief Burns had you take off your shirt for photos of the bruises.
  917. >"Alright Anon, I just have one last question for you. Are you wanting to press charges?"
  918. >You nod.
  919. >"You are a brave young man Anonymous. You'd be surprised how often this sort of thing goes unreported."
  920. "If it weren't for Principal Celestia... I probably wouldn't have said anything at all."
  921. >The chief gives you a smile.
  922. >"Well, there are a few things that I'll be needing to speak with her about could you send her in. It won't be anything more then a few minutes."
  923. >You nod.
  924. "Thank you sir."
  925. >You open the office door and you see Celestia sitting by the window.
  926. "Celestia, the chief said he wanted to speak with you for a few minutes."
  927. >She nods and heads to the office.
  928. >You sit down and look at the clock.
  929. >Damn, it was over 2 hours in there.
  930. >You muse about how you could repay Celestia for everything she did for you.
  931. >"Anon, are you ready to go home?"
  932. >She had a bright smile and a manilla envelope in her hand.
  933. >You get up and nod.
  934. "What's in the envelope?"
  935. >She smiles brighter.
  936. >"It's some legal papers. Regarding custody. Specifically of you."
  937. >You raise an eyebrow.
  938. >"Well in this country, age of majority is 19 years old, until then someone has to be legally responsible for you."
  939. >Who did she find that would do that for you?
  940. "Who did you rope in to take care of me? Did I have some Aunt or uncle living around here?"
  941. >"No Anon. The person that will be taking care of you is me."
  942. >You had to admit, while a small part of you expected it, you were still surprised.
  943. >"Burns figured it would be for the best anyway. We are going to try and settle this out of court if at all possible but somehow, I don't think that's going to happen."
  944. >You nodded in agreement.
  945. >Your mother wouldn't just take this lying down.
  946. >"So now that all that unpleasantness is out of the way... care to go home?"
  947. >You nodded enthusiastically.
  948. >You walk with Celestia to the car.
  949. >Once you've gotten in and had been driving for a while you heard Celestia speak.
  950. >"I'm proud of you Anon. I wasn't sure if you were going to go through with it. I know it's difficult but... if you ever need anything at all at anytime, I'm always just a hallway away."
  951.
  952. *********************************
  953.
  954. >You are Celestia.
  955. >The evening beyond speaking to the police was extremely uneventful.
  956. >Anon had turned in early, just like you had resolved to.
  957. >You look at the clock.
  958. > 1:28 am
  959. >You had figured the excitement of the day would tire you out.
  960. >You were wrong.
  961. >Your mind was racing.
  962. "Am I making the right choice?"
  963. >You mused to yourself out loud.
  964. >You wonder if perhaps you aren't doing any of this for the right reasons.
  965. >Sure, helping a student deal with this kind of problem was good but...
  966. >Why were you trying so hard?
  967. >Why were you willing to take responsibility for the actions of someone else?
  968. >Why did you open your home to some random teenager?
  969. >That was it.
  970. >He wasn't just some random student.
  971. >He was Anonymous.
  972. >He was the one with the emerald green eyes that Deloris constantly dragged to your office for asking too many questions.
  973. >The first time he came into your office he wasn't anything special, but when you had started seeing him less as a student and more as just a person, your feelings changed.
  974. >He was the one that spoke with you in length about a painting in your office, how it was done and the artist who had painted it.
  975. >He was the one that jokingly said "Same time tomorrow?" at the end of each school day.
  976. >He was the one that always came back.
  977. >At 2:15pm.
  978. >Anon would be there.
  979. >You could count on it.
  980. >The certainty and normality that he brought to your life was something you desired and after dealing with what you had to barely a year ago, how could you be blamed.
  981. >Anon made a place in your heart.
  982. >You couldn't quite explain why or how but he did.
  983. >And you would be damned to let anyone take that away from you.
  984. >You were doing everything not just for Anon, but for you as well.
  985. >Seemingly satisfied, your mind settled and let you feel the wave of tiredness.
  986. >You pulled the sheets up to your shoulders and closed your eyes.
  987. >You would keep your promise.
  988. >Your eyes fluttered shut.
  989. >You fell asleep with a smile on your face.
  990.
  991. ***********
  992.
  993.
  994. >You are...
  995. >...
  996. >Huh.
  997. >You can't really remember your name anymore.
  998. >The steady diet of alcohol, antidepressants and mild narcotics saw to that.
  999. >You lay on the couch.
1000. >All strewn out around you was the remnants of your excess.
  1001. >He was gone.
  1002. >Which he?
  1003. >Was there two?
  1004. >Maybe?
1005. >You think you were a mother at one point.
  1006. >But that couldn't be right.
1007. >You almost considered going to the police again.
1008. >They hadn't helped you before when he left the first time.
1009. >When he came back you were so happy.
  1010. >You could be a family...
  1011. >You remember a little boy.
  1012. >What was his name?
  1013. >Was he yours?
1014. >He went away one day.
  1015. >You blamed your... husband?
1016. >You looked at your hands.
  1017. >No rings.
1018. >You got so mad at him.
1019. >Why did he scare your little boy away?
1020. >He would just look so sullen everyday.
1021. >You were trying to pick up the pieces.
1022. >Why was he always so upsetting?
1023. >Couldn't he see you hurt too?
1024. >You yelled at him to get him to understand your pain.
1025. >A harsh knock came to your front door.
1026. >"Ma'am, this is the police. We need to talk to you. It's about your son."
1027. >In that moment, all the clutter in your mind swept away.
1028. >They had found your little boy.
1029. "I'll be out in a minute. That door doesn't work anymore."
1030. >You were going to be a family again.
  1031.
  1032. **********
  1033.
  1034. >You are Celestia.
1035. >It was early on a Saturday morning, a week later.
1036. >You were seated on your balcony, overlooking Canterlot.
1037. >From here you had the perfect vantage point to see the sun rise.
1038. >You could hear Anonymous milling about in your home.
  1039. >You smile.
1040. >You never realized how lonely your house was without someone else living in it.
1041. >You missed the days when your sister lived with you.
1042. >It was nice to have some conversation in the mornings while getting ready.
1043. >Chief Burns had called you yesterday to inform you that they were questioning Anon's mother today.
1044. >You had been so pensive about it, but as you sat and watched the sunrise, you couldn't help but feel better.
  1045. >"Tia, may I join you?"
1046. >You turn to see Anon standing at your bedroom door with two cups.
  1047. "Of course."
1048. >He quickly moves through your bedroom and takes a seat on the other chair.
1049. >He hands you one of the cups.
  1050. >Coffee.
  1051. >He sighs.
1052. >"I used to do this with my dad."
  1053. >You perk up.
1054. >"Sometimes, on really good days, we would sit up on the roof and watch the sunrise over all the other houses."
  1055. >He smiles.
1056. >You sip your coffee, letting him continue.
1057. >"I would just sit there, nattering about school and he would smile and make sure I didn't fall."
1058. >You could hear a touch of sadness in his tone.
1059. >"Mom would sit with us too. I remember having them both sitting with me... I always felt so safe."
1060. >You almost flinched at the mention of his mother.
1061. >He turns to you sheepishly.
1062. >"Even after everything that's happened, no matter what she did to me.. I really don't want to do this."
  1063. >You sigh.
1064. "Do you regret your decision?"
1065. >"A little. I know she needs help and I can't do it, but a part of me still remembers who she used to be. Even if... even if she left when dad did."
  1066. >You weren't sure what to say.
1067. >Thankfully, Anon turned back to the rising sun.
  1068.
1069. >"I'm not going back on my decision... I just needed to tell someone."
1070. >You both sat in silence.
1071. >You place your now empty mug on the table.
1072. >Anon takes it and is.
1073. >As he gets up he smiles at you.
  1074. >"Thank you. Again."
1075. >You watched him disappear down the hall.
1076. >You weren't sure how he was feeling
1077. >You were playing everything mostly by ear at this point.
1078. >You would be here for him if he needed you.
1079. >The sound of your cell phone ringing caught your ear.
1080. >You know what it was about.
1081. >You took one last look out over Canterlot before striding over to your phone.
  1082. "Hello?"
  1083.
  1084. ***************
  1085.
  1086. >You are Anon.
1087. >After your chat with Tia, you headed back to the kitchen to rinse the mugs.
1088. >You heard the tell tale sound of a cell phone ringing.
1089. >You didn't have one so it must be Tia's.
1090. >You couldn't make out what she was saying but she seemed calm.
1091. >You could hear her coming down the hall.
1092. >You grab the nearest towel and turn towards her.
1093. >You turn to see a distraught Celestia.
  1094. >"Anon, we have a problem."
  1095. "What's wrong?"
1096. >"Chief Burns just called, it was about your mother. Things are going to get pretty complicated."
  1097. >You nod.
1098. "So we are going to court."
1099. >"Worse, we have to prove that she was sane enough to know that what she did was wrong."
1100. >It felt like you had just been hit in the gut.
  1101. "What?"
1102. >"When they picked her up she thought you were her husband. She thinks that you are the one that went missing all those years ago."
1103. "Does that mean what I think it does?"
  1104. >Tia nods.
1105. >"This just got a whole lot more complicated."
  1106.
  1107. *****
  1108.
  1109. >You are Celestia.
1110. >You could see just how bad the news effected Anon.
1111. >There was a chance that after all that hardship, she would never be properly punished for any of it.
1112. >You needed to get a lawyer and you needed it fast.
1113. >There would be no out of court solution here.
1114. >Anon looked as though he would faint at any point.
1115. >You lead Anonymous to the couch.
1116. >"You know Tia... you must be crazy too."
  1117. >You raised an eyebrow.
1118. >"Are you sure you want to go through this with me?"
  1119. >You nod.
1120. "I already told you Anon, I'm in this for the long haul. I know you don't want to believe it but I'm not going to just up and leave you."
  1121. >"I'm sorry for-"
  1122. >You sit beside him.
1123. "You have nothing to be sorry for, so don't apologize."
  1124. >He nods.
1125. >"Can you... can you just sit with me for awhile? I don't think I want to be alone."
  1126. "Of course."
1127. >He leans his head on your shoulder.
1128. >The law office wouldn't be open anyway.
1129. >You turned to see Anon had closed his eyes.
1130. >Soft whimpers escape his lips.
1131. >You had to make this right.
  1132. >You just had to.
  1133.
  1134. *****
  1135.
  1136. >You are Anon.
1137. >The time leading up to your court date was a rush of paper work and recounting.
1138. >Your lawyer explained that because of the nature of the charges, this would be a criminal case.
1139. >It was all incredibly exhausting.
1140. >When the day finally came it all hit you at once.
1141. >You were really doing this.
1142. >You were taking your mother to court after all the pain and suffering she caused you.
  1143. >Your own mother.
1144. >You couldn't help but feel guilty as you walked up the steps of the courthouse.
  1145. >Celestia walked beside you.
1146. "I don't know if I can do this Tia... I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about it."
1147. >She placed a hand on your shoulder.
1148. >"No matter what happens, no matter the verdict, come what may you will still have me. Whatever that's worth to you."
  1149. >It meant a hell of a lot.
  1150. >Your lawyer's voice rings out.
1151. >He seems to be holding a presentation board and a couple of folders.
1152. >"Great, you got here a little early. I have a couple things to discuss with you both. First off, pending the verdict of the trial, your filling for Guardianship will be determined- either way this trial goes you are going to end up with Celestia."
1153. >This was a bit of good news.
1154. >"Second, by taking the insanity defense the defendant's lawyer must agree that the abuse took place."
1155. >At least you didn't have to try and prove that part.
1156. >"Third. because of the nature of dissociative disorder, your mother will not be in the courtroom for the full duration of the the proceedings. So she will not be at the bench but she can hear everything that you say."
  1157. >You nod.
1158. >"All you have to do Anon is answer every question that either myself or the defense lawyer asks. Be completely truthful. If you don't know something, say so. If things start going bad for the defense we may be able to get a deal and this can go a heck of a lot faster."
1159. >You absorb everything as he talks about etiquette in the court room and the proper way to sit.
1160. >There was no turning back now.
  1161.
  1162. ************
  1163.
1164. >Your lawyer leads you to a small courtroom.
1165. >Inside, the bailiff stands to one side of the room.
1166. >Celestia gives you a nod and you and your lawyer head down to check in.
1167. >The large man gives you a nod.
1168. >"Just it down on at that bench closest to me."
  1169. >Celestia sat behind you.
1170. >A few moments later an older woman and man come down the aisle and speak with the bailiff.
1171. >The woman sits at the other desk and opens a suitcase.
1172. >The man sits behind her.
1173. >You hear a click at the back of the room.
1174. >The jury are escorted in.
1175. >You looked back at Celestia and she nodded.
  1176. >"All rise."
  1177. >Everyone stands.
1178. >A bald man in a black robe strides to the raised Judge's podium.
1179. >"Hear ye, hear ye, the Supreme Court for the District of Canterlot is in session -- the Honourable Judge Erik Wilson presiding. All having business before this honorable court draw near, give attention, and you shall be heard. You may be seated."
1180. >You swallow the lump in your throat. You were going to do this.
  1181. >The judge speaks.
1182. >"Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Would the prosecution please state their names for the record."
  1183. >You nod.
  1184. "Anonymous Smith, your honour."
  1185. >"Apollo Wright, your honour."
1186. >"And would the Defense please state their names for the record."
1187. >"The defendant's name is Ashleigh Smith, defending her is Claire Vogue."
1188. >"Bailiff, would you please read the charges?"
  1189. >He nods his head.
1190. >"Ms. Smith, you stand accused of child abuse, child endangerment, molestation and rape. How do you plead?"
  1191. >The defense lawyer speaks.
1192. >"Not guilty on all counts by reason of insanity."
1193. >The judge starts read his notes.
1194. >"The defendant will be brought into the courtroom only at the request for testimony."
  1195. >The Jury nods.
1196. >"Would the prosecution please call the first witness to the stand."
  1197. >Here it goes...
  1198. >Apollo stands.
1199. >"I would first like to call Anonymous Smith to the stand your honour."
1200. >The judge nods at you and you rise up and move to the witness stand.
1201. >The bailiff moves to the stand with a book in his hand.
1202. >"Place your left hand here and raise your right."
  1203. >You do.
1204. >"To you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help you God?"
  1205. "I do."
1206. >Apollo asks you to recount the events leading up to your 16th birthday in as great of detail as possible.
1207. >As you are doing this, Apollo hands the jury and the defense attorney each one of the files you are holding and requests they be kept closed until he deemed fit.
1208. >"And can you recount the events of the night in question?"
1209. >You tell the court the same story you told Celestia.
1210. >You heard your mother come home.
  1211. >You pretended to sleep.
1212. >She got into bed with you.
1213. >You had to rub your eyes at the recollection.
1214. >"And now for the most recent event, which was the catalyst for bring you into this courtroom today. Ladies and gentleman of the jury the folder I have given you contains photographs of not only the victims home but of the injuries sustained by him at the hands of the defendant."
1215. >Shocked murmurs fill the silent courtroom.
1216. >"The prosecution rests your honour."
1217. >The face of the defense attorney fell when she looked at the photographs.
1218. >You didn't know if that was a good or bad thing.
1219. >"I open the floor to the defense."
1220. >Cross-examination. You were a little worried about this part.
1221. >"First question Anonymous. Why did you not think to file a police statement when the alleged rape occurred."
  1222. "I did ma'am."
  1223. >She looked shocked.
1224. >"And for what reason did the police not follow up with you?"
  1225. "I don't know ma'am."
  1226. >She sneers at you.
1227. >She was trying to catch you off guard.
1228. >"No further questions your honour."
1229. >Looks like you had won that round. You weren't sure how many more you would have to go for this to end.
  1230.
  1231. *********
  1232.
1233. >The defense's first witness was some mental health doctor. Doctor Stable.
1234. >He basically explained that your mother had little grasp on reality and that she would not know the difference between you and your father as mentally she was still stuck when you were 8.
1235. >"Doctor, what are the causes of Dissociative Disorder?"
1236. >"In this case, most likely severe trauma"
  1237. >The Jury nods.
1238. >"No further questions your honour."
1239. >Apollo stands up and points to the doctor.
1240. >"Doctor... I was doing a little reading about this. Is it true that while there are no hard and fast treatments for DD, that the use of anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication and anti-psychotics are common to help lessen an episode?"
  1241. >The doctor nods.
  1242. >"Well, yes that is."
1243. >Apollo turns back to where you are seated and opens a file.
1244. >"Here I have a list of pill bottles found in the defendants home. Could you please read their names and state their functions for the court?"
1245. >The doctor takes the list.
1246. >"Well the first three; Cymbalta, Effexor and Remeron are all antidepressants."
1247. >The doctor continued down the list.
1248. >Aside from the odd headache medicine or cold tablets they were all one of the three Apollo had mentioned.
1249. >"Then doctor, in your professional opinion, could Ms. Smith be treating her DD with those medications?"
  1250. >The doctor nods.
  1251. >"Of course."
1252. >You were shocked. Apollo just tore the defense in half.
1253. >"Your honour, we request a brief recess."
  1254. > The gavel fell.
  1255. >"Granted, court resumes in 15 minutes."
1256. >The defense and jury hurriedly shuffled out.
1257. >Apollo gave you a smile as he lead you out.
1258. >"You didn't get flustered kid, and because of your mom's lethargy we might be able to pull this off."
  1259. >Celestia smiled at you.
  1260. >"You're doing great, Anon."
1261. >"Don't count Claire out just yet, she's going to come back swinging. I may have caught her on her wrong foot, but she'll recover."
1262. >That made you worry a little, but for now it didn't show. That was later.
1263. >For now, you focused on the present.
1264. >For now you focused on how beautiful the sky was.
1265. >For now you focused on your housemate laughing at something Apollo said.
1266. >For now you were smiling.
  1267.
  1268. ***********************
  1269.
1270. >All too soon you had to go back inside.
1271. >Apollo gave you a little thumbs up as you walked back to your bench.
1272. >A few minutes later and court was back in session.
1273. >"Your honour the defense would like to call Ashleigh Smith to the stand."
1274. >The pit grew back in your stomach.
1275. >You would have to face her.
1276. >Down the aisle walked your mother.
  1277. >She was dressed up.
  1278. >Her hair was done.
  1279. >She even looked calm.
1280. >She was brought up to the stand and sworn in.
1281. >"Ms. Smith. I want you to point out your son in the courtroom."
1282. >Her eyes completely swept over you.
1283. >"He isn't here. I see my husband, but not my little boy."
1284. >Your blood turns to ice.
1285. >"And could you point your husband out?"
1286. >She nods and points right at you.
1287. >"I see, and how long have you been with your husband."
  1288. >"Ten years."
1289. >Impossible. You were older then that.
1290. >You started thumbing through the photos.
1291. >"Are you now, or have you ever been on any medication?"
  1292. >She looks at you.
1293. >"I can't recall, you'd need to ask my husband."
1294. >The defense attorney looks at the jury.
1295. >"Ms. Smith are you aware of where you are?"
1296. >You find what you are looking for.
  1297. >A picture.
  1298. >Of a pill bottle.
1299. >With the date stamped before your father disappeared, you lean into Apollo and show him.
  1300. >He shook his head.
  1301. >He didn't understand.
1302. >You hand him the photo.
  1303. >He reads it.
1304. >Your mother was on medication before.
1305. >Back when she was still normal.
  1306. >You weren't paying attention.
  1307. >"The defense rests."
1308. >Your Mother is lead from the courtroom.
  1309. >Apollo stands.
1310. >"Ladies and Gentleman of the jury, there is another piece of evidence I would like to put forward."
1311. >The defense attorney looked raises an eyebrow.
1312. >"In the photographs, there is a picture of a medication bottle from before the start of the abuse. From my clients own testimony she was, by legal standards, a completely normal functional member of society. That means, her condition was aggravated by the disappearance, not the sole cause of it."
1313. >Mrs. Vogue put her head in her hands.
  1314. >Apollo continues.
1315. >"That means this entire time she was medicated. No one can deny that she needs help. Ms.Vogue, was your client given her recommended dose of medication before coming to testify?"
  1316. >She stayed silent.
1317. >"You will answer the question Ms. Vogue."
  1318. >The judge leans forward.
  1319. >"No."
1320. >Apollo walks away from her.
  1321. >"I rest my case."
  1322. >Apollo sits.
1323. >"Does the defense have anything further to add?"
1324. >You see her slump, defeated.
  1325. >"No your honour."
1326. >"The jury will be given one hour to deliberate and find a verdict. You are all to retire for the duration of the deliberation-"
  1327. >You zone out.
1328. >This was all far too much for you.
  1329. >"Court is adjourned."
  1330.
  1331. *********
  1332.
  1333. >An hour passes.
1334. >Everyone shuffles back in to the courtroom.
1335. >Your mother stood beside her attorney.
  1336. >She seems different.
  1337. >She isn't as dozy as before.
1338. >"All rise for the reading of the verdict."
1339. >You wait with baited breath.
1340. >"In the case of the people versus Ashleigh Smith, We -the jury- find the defendant guilty on all counts. We recommend in addition to jail time, Ms.Smith be taken to a psychiatric hospital for proper treatment."
  1341. >You breath a sigh of relief.
  1342. >It was finally over.
1343. >You felt a chill down your spine.
1344. >You saw your mother's eyes staring you down...
  1345.
  1346. >You are Celestia.
1347. >You could see the death stare Anon was getting from his mother.
1348. >The judge was reading the sentencing.
1349. >Max years, spent serving between an mental institution and a minimum security prison.
1350. >Still she stared at Anon.
1351. >He must be incredibly uncomfortable.
1352. >As the bailiff reached for her, her composure snapped.
1353. >"HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME!! I RAISED YOU!!"
1354. >The jury jump back in surprise.
1355. >"AFTER ALL THAT I'VE DONE FOR YOU THIS IS HOW YOU PAY ME BACK? LEAVING ME TO ROT IN SOME CELL?!"
1356. >The Guards quickly subdue the woman.
1357. >"YOU ARE WHY HE LEFT US ANON! YOU!"
  1358. >Her fury dies.
1359. >"Now your leaving me just like he did..."
1360. >She was lead from the courtroom sobbing.
1361. >You got up to move beside Anon.
  1362. >He looked so pale.
  1363. >His eyes were closed.
  1364. >He had blacked out.
  1365.
  1366. ***********
  1367.
  1368. >You are Anon.
1369. >The floor beneath you is surprisingly soft.
  1370. >Soft?
  1371. >You open your eyes.
1372. >You are back in your room at Celestia's place.
1373. >How did you get here?
1374. >What happened after whatever happened to you?
  1375. >Where was Celestia?
1376. >What happened to your mother?
1377. >Your mind protested at the sudden rush of information.
1378. >As you lay staring at the ceiling, you heard the sounds of sobbing from the hall.
1379. >Your body screams as you lurch out of bed and struggle to get your balance.
1380. >Through a minor miracle, you make you your way to your open door.
1381. >Leaning heavily on the door frame, you listen closer to the sound crying.
1382. >You open your mouth to call for help but your mouth is completely dry.
1383. >Slowly you stumble into the kitchen and turn on the tap.
1384. >You greedily drink up the cold liquid in an effort to walk yourself up.
  1385. >...
  1386. >You blink a few times.
1387. >You seem to be in full control again.
1388. >Your mind seems to have quieted for the moment.
1389. >You take in your surroundings.
  1390. >The sun is down.
1391. >The air in the apartment was still and quiet, save for what sounded like crying.
1392. >Most of the lights are off, save one.
  1393. >Celestia's room.
1394. >Was she the one crying?
1395. >Still a little uneasy you make your way down the hall.
1396. >The sobbing was definitely coming from her room.
1397. >You get to the door and knock as loudly as your leaden arms can muster.
1398. >You hear the shuffling of sheets and the rapid padding of bare flesh on wood.
1399. >The door opens and you see her.
  1400. >Celestia.
1401. >Her hair is disheveled and messy
1402. >The light make-up she wore early was running in thin rivulets down her face,
1403. >"Anon! I'm so sorry! I didn't hear you coming down the hall-"
1404. >You cease leaning and sway side to side.
  1405. "I heard- you crying..."
1406. >She takes you by the hand and takes you over to her bed.
1407. >You lay back on the soft mattress.
1408. >"The ambulance tech said you should stay in bed."
  1409. "Why... were you crying?"
  1410. >she sighed.
  1411.
  1412. *****
  1413.
1414. >"You blacked out back in the courtroom after your mother's outburst."
  1415. >You nod.
1416. >"You felt so cold and looked so pale. I got so worried. The EMT that came said you'd be fine in a couple of hours but you didn't wake up!"
  1417. >Her voice grew a little frantic.
1418. "Hey... I'm alright now. I'm a little woozy but we are home."
1419. >She rests a hand on your forehead.
1420. >"You're still cold. Let's get you back under those blankets."
1421. >Gingerly she lifts you so she can pull her linens from under you.
1422. >"You shouldn't have gotten out of bed."
1423. "You were crying Tia. I needed to make sure you were okay. We take care of each other."
1424. >"Anon... Anon you need to get some sleep. I'll go take the guest room-"
  1425. >You speak without thinking.
1426. "Stay with me... I don't want to be alone again."
1427. >You felt Celestia's weight shift as she got up from the bed.
  1428. >You watch her.
1429. >She makes her way to the other side of the bed and lifts the covers.
1430. >"I do need to watch you and you do still feel a little cold."
1431. >The bed creaks as she pulls you close to her chest.
1432. >You were close enough to hear her heart beating.
  1433. "I...I..."
  1434. >"Hm?"
1435. >You were breathing in her scent.
1436. >It makes you feel warm.
  1437. "Tia... I..."
1438. >"Hush now Anon. It's time to sleep."
1439. >You felt Celestia's fingers run through your hair.
1440. >You snuggled closer to Celestia.
1441. >What you wanted to say could wait.
1442. >For now you needed your rest.
  1443.
  1444. *****
  1445.
  1446. >You are Celestia.
1447. >You figured what he wanted to say.
1448. >You wanted to hear him say it.
  1449. >But not now.
  1450. >Not like this.
1451. >Not after everything that happened today.
1452. >You kissed the top of Anon's head.
1453. >For now this was enough.
  1454. >For now...
  1455.
  1456. *****
  1457.
1458. >You awaken the next morning just after the sun had risen.
1459. >Anon's sleeping form was still nuzzled into your chest.
  1460. >You smiled to yourself.
1461. >Your morning routine could wait for a bit.
1462. >You could both use a day's rest after all the excitement these past few months.
1463. >Excitement that was finally over.
1464. >As you lay on your bed, you watched a sliver of orange peek through your curtains.
  1465. >"uuung"
1466. >You looked down at Anon's tired face blinking away the sleep from his eyes.
1467. >"Morning Tia... how did I end up in your room last night?"
1468. >You disentangled from Anon and slide out of your bed.
1469. "You came to see me of your own accord. Normally, I'd scold you for not listening to the doctor, but I doubt you even remember seeing him."
1470. >"Right. The whole fainting thing."
1471. >You go into your washroom and grab your hair brush.
1472. >You lean out the door to look at Anonymous, while brushing your hair.
1473. "Not that I particularly mind you being in here but are you well enough to get back to your own room?"
1474. >He tilts his head at you.
  1475. "I need to change."
1476. >His face turns beat red as you stifle a laugh.
  1477. >"Sure. No problem."
1478. >You made sure to close the bathroom door as he pasted.
1479. >He was already embarrassed enough.
  1480.
  1481. *****
  1482.
  1483. >You are Anon.
1484. >You thank whoever decided to change you into baggy pants after you collapsed yesterday.
1485. >You could feel the heat in your cheeks, amongst other places.
1486. >You figure the only thing that would help you know was a semi-cold shower and a fresh set of clothing.
1487. >You stripped down and hopped in the show
1488. >The icy water definitely woke you up, and cooled your passion.
1489. >When you were sure that you would stay that way, you let the water warm up.
  1490. >You breathed a sigh of contentment.
  1491. >It was finally over.
1492. >Your mother was put away and hopefully getting the help she desperately needed.
1493. >You even had a new place to call home.
1494. >You wanted to do something to celebrate.
1495. >You thought about it while you showered.
1496. >You didn't have much money, so going out was right out.
1497. >You really didn't want to be around people at the moment anyway.
1498. >You realized your answer fairly quickly after your second hair rinse.
1499. >You could cook for Tia.
1500. >Up until now it was either her cooking, or take out.
1501. >While you may not be able to surprise her, you could at least have a quiet evening in.
1502. >Another realization hit you as you were getting dressed.
1503. >How exactly did Celestia afford such an expensive apartment?
1504. >You resolve to ask her over lunch.
  1505.
  1506. ****************
  1507.
  1508. >You are Celestia.
  1509. >It's just a little past noon.
1510. >You were making a simple salad for you and Anon to share.
1511. >At the moment, Anon was doing some kind of school work or other.
1512. >As you got down some bowls, Anon's voice rang out.
1513. >"Tia? You never did answer me. How did you get an apartment in the richest part of town?"
  1514. >You laughed.
1515. "You still want to know about that?"
  1516. >Anon nods.
1517. "Well Canterlot Heights wasn't always THE place to live you know."
  1518. >Anon looks a little confused.
1519. "You were probably a little to young to remember, but when this place was first built no one really wanted anything to do with it. So in an effort to recoup losses, they drastically lowered the price on purchasing."
  1520. >Anon nodded.
1521. >"So you got in when it was cheap."
1522. "I got in when they were hemorrhaging money. I had saved up money since I was sixteen to get my own place, and with a little help from my family, I bought this place."
1523. >Anon seemed to mull this over in his mind.
1524. >"So if this place was such a money pit, what changed?"
1525. "Well, surely you have hear about the software company executive Fancy Pants?"
  1526. >Anon nodded again.
1527. >"I'd be hard not to, his electronics are everywhere."
1528. "Well a few months after I moved in, Fancy Pants moved his company from Manehatten to Canterlot. He also personally moved to the top floor of this building. Sooner rather then later, the people that wanted to be a part of his success began to follow. It seemed like everyone wanted to be a celebrity, or at least live close to one, so the building owner started raising the prices. What with Canterlot Heights being so close to Uptown's blossoming night life, rich socialites began to follow."
1529. >You start eating some of your salad.
1530. >Anon digs in to his own salad.
1531. "If I didn't move out when I did, I would never have been able to afford to live here. So by sheer dumb luck I got this place."
1532. >You sometimes forget just how fortunate you were to be able to keep your home.
1533. >Anon seemed satisfied with your house's story and you both at the rest of your meal in companionable silence.
1534. >After you both get back to your respective paper work Anon speaks again.
1535. >"Tia... this is might seem a little weird but could I cook for us tonight? I want to repay you for everything you've done for me- and I want to celebrate."
1536. >You were a little shocked at the offer.
1537. >You were so used to taking care of yourself or others that you often forgot how little you were pampered.
1538. >Now someone was offering to take care of you for a while?
1539. >How could you say no?
1540. "I would love that. When you finish that, have a look around and let me know if you need anything picked up."
1541. >Anon's smile could light up the room.
1542. >He took your dishes in his hands with lightning quickness and leaned over and pecked you on the cheek.
  1543. >"Thanks Tia! You're the best!"
1544. >Anon than continued to the sink to handle the dishes, all the while humming a nameless tune.
1545. >You were lucky that Anon couldn't see your face.
1546. >You were as red as we was in the morning.
  1547.
  1548. ****************************************
  1549. ****************************************
  1550.
  1551. >You are Anon.
1552. >While you were no master chef, you knew your way around the kitchen pretty well.
1553. >You knew that if you picked anything too complex, you would be liable to screw it up.
1554. >You did not want that.
1555. >Anything too simple like spaghetti was right out.
1556. >You were aiming to impress, not show that you could boil water.
  1557. >You had it.
1558. >Presentation was going to be everything.
  1559. >Celestia had a small dining room.
  1560. >That could work.
  1561. >Now for the hook.
1562. "Tia, If you needed to pick up any other groceries tonight, could you pick up some fast fry steaks? I just need a couple for dinner."
1563. >Celestia looked up from her paper work.
1564. >"I can do that. I take it you will stay here and prepare dinner then?"
  1565. >You nod.
  1566. "If that's alright."
1567. >"Of course. I need a break from these request forms anyway."
1568. >Celestia stands and cat stretches.
1569. >"I'll be back in about a half an hour."
  1570. >Perfect.
1571. >You heard the jingle of keys and the open and shutting of the front door.
  1572. >You set to work.
1573. >The dining room was a smaller, more intimate room. Perfect for what you were planning.
1574. >You waste no time in setting down one of Celestia's many table cloths.
  1575. >Black for this evening.
1576. >Polished silverware was set as quickly and nicely as you could manage.
1577. >You still had a lot of prep work to do.
1578. >No centerpiece. You didn't have any flowers and candles might seem a little bit presumptuous.
1579. >Deciding that the table was set as best as you could manage, you close the door to the room and head back to the kitchen.
1580. >Now for the fun part.
  1581. >Making it.
1582. >You flipped on the small radio on the counter and music fills your ears.
  1583. >Now you were ready.
  1584.
  1585. **********
  1586.
  1587. >You are Celestia.
1588. >Your little shopping excursion took a little longer then expected.
1589. >You had forgotten your phone in your room, so you couldn't even call Anon and let him know you were running late.
1590. >As the elevator opened, you caught the subtle scent of cooking vegetables.
1591. >Pushing into your apartment, you could hear Anon singing along to your radio.
1592. >Looks like you were off the hook.
  1593. "Anon, I'm home."
  1594. >"Did you need a hand?"
1595. >You walked in the kitchen and put the bags on the counter.
  1596. >He chuckles.
1597. >"I'll take that as a no, then."
1598. >You smile and start putting away your purchases.
1599. "Guess not. So, what's for dinner?
1600. >"It's nothing too special, just a stir-fry. Oh, did you get the meat?"
1601. >You nod and hand him the package.
1602. >The rhythmic knocking of the knife on cutting board behind you signaled you to move out of the way.
1603. >You moved back over to your paperwork in the kitchenette, but instead of working, you focused on the young man in your kitchen.
  1604. >He was happy.
1605. >His head bumped to the music and he hummed along.
1606. >It gave you a warm feeling in your chest.
1607. >You were a part of that happiness.
1608. >After a few minutes, he poured a small bowl of mushrooms into his pan.
1609. >At the sound of a new song starting, he perked up.
  1610. >"Tia! Come here for a second!"
1611. >You shoot him a puzzled look but obliged.
1612. >He offered his hand out to you.
1613. >Still perplexed you put your hand in his.
1614. >Smiling, he pulled you close and put his other hand above your hip.
1615. >You knew what he wanted.
1616. >You slip your own hand on to Anonymous's hip and shoot him a flirty smile.
  1617. >"Fly me to the moon~"
1618. >He smiles back as you both being to sway.
  1619. >"Let me play among the stars~"
1620. >You pull him a little closer, enjoying this bolder side of Anon.
1621. >"Let me see what spring is like on a-Jupiter and Mars~"
1622. >The hand from your hip moves up and brushes an errant strand of hair off of your face.
  1623. >"In other words, hold my hand~"
1624. >His hand cups your cheek.
1625. >"In other words, baby, kiss me."
  1626. >You draw in a breath.
1627. >"Fill my heart with song and let me sing forever more~"
  1628. >He leans closer.
  1629. >"You are all I long for, All I worship, and adore~"
1630. >His lips were mouthing the words.
  1631. >"In other words, please be true~"
1632. >He rested his forehead against yours.
  1633. >"In other words, I love you~"
1634. >The music picked up and he broke away to twirl you.
1635. >You were a little disappointed that he didn't finish what he started.
  1636. >"In other words, please be true~"
1637. >He traps you in his arms
1638. >There was mischief in his eyes.
1639. >"In other words, In other words, I love... you~"
  1640. >His lips met yours.
1641. >The world melted around you.
1642. >The kiss was chaste, and timid.
  1643. >He almost seemed afraid.
1644. >Your hand slipped up his back, your fingers intermingling with Anon's hair.
1645. >You knew how to show him you approved.
1646. >You push his head a little closer.
1647. >You smiled against his lips.
  1648. >Finally...
  1649.
  1650. *************
  1651.
  1652. >You are Anon.
  1653. >It was happening.
1654. >You were standing in the middle of Celestia's kitchen, dinner cooking on the stove and...
  1655. >You were lip locked.
  1656. >With Celestia.
1657. >Sure, you had thought about it.
1658. >Hell, you had a few dreams about it.
  1659. >But now...
  1660. >It was happening.
  1661. >It felt good.
  1662. >It felt real good.
1663. >You thought you screwed everything up.
1664. >You just felt so free.
1665. >Everything was finally going your way.
1666. >The abuse and dark times were over.
1667. >You wanted to share how you felt with the one that meant the most to you.
  1668. >Tia.
1669. >Speaking of her, you were running out of air.
1670. >You pulled your lips away.
  1671. >She frowns a little.
  1672. >She speaks first.
  1673. >"I was enjoying that."
1674. >You blink at the admission.
1675. "Me too, but dinner is getting cold and you haven't seen the other surprise."
1676. >She copies your trademark smirk.
  1677. >"That wasn't the surprise?"
  1678. >Damn. She's cute.
1679. "I definitely did not plan that."
1680. >She lets go of you and sits in her chair.
  1681. >Her smile doesn't leave her face.
  1682. >"Let me know when you’re ready."
1683. >You could have sworn you saw a wink, but you knew you were imagining it.
  1684. >...
  1685. >Right?
  1686.
  1687. ***********
  1688.
  1689. >You are Celestia.
1690. >To say you were having a good day would be the understatement of the century.
1691. >Shortly after your little dance in the kitchen, Anon seated you in your dining room.
1692. >He had set everything up so nicely.
1693. >You replayed the kiss in your mind.
1694. >It made you warm just thinking about it.
1695. >Now all you needed to know was where he stood in this whole thing.
1696. >Anon came in carrying two plates of his stir-fry.
1697. >Well, it certainly smelled good.
1698. >Anon sat in the chair beside yours.
1699. >Without hesitation, you put your first fork full into your mouth and chew.
  1700. >He watches you expectantly.
  1701. >It's actually pretty good.
1702. "This is delicious Anon, thank you!"
1703. >He blushes at your praise.
1704. >A few moments pass with no discussion between the two of you.
1705. >Anon is the first to speak.
1706. >"Tia... About what happened in the kitchen earlier..."
  1707. >Here it comes
1708. "Anon, if you are apologizing for kissing me, you best just stop right there."
  1709. >"No no... It's just... Well..."
1710. >He seemed to be struggling for words.
1711. "Anon, it's only me. Just speak your mind."
1712. >His shoulders slumped and he sighed.
  1713. >"What am I to you? Am I a child? A friend? Something more? I.. I am a little confused."
1714. >You put another fork of stir-fry in your mouth to give you a moment to think.
1715. "Well you certainly aren't a child, and you definitely are my friend... As for something more... Well what do you see me as?"
1716. >You could almost see his mind working in his eyes.
1717. >"Well you helped me out when I needed it most, and I'd like to think that we are friends."
1718. >The way he said that last part.
  1719. "But...?"
1720. >He had more to say.
  1721.
  1722. *****
  1723.
  1724. >You are Anon.
1725. >You would just have to buck up and tell her what was worrying you
1726. "I want you to be more then just friends with me. I... I want to wake up with you... I am just worried that you pity me."
1727. >Celestia seemed to mull over those words.
1728. >"We are friends Anon, so I won't lie to you. There was a time when I pitied you, and your circumstances-"
1729. >You felt like someone dropped a huge weight on your back.
1730. >"But after you came here to live with me, I saw a whole other side of you. Despite how awful your childhood and life were up until now, it was only under the greatest of duress that you said anything about it. As for if I would want to be something more to you... well I don't know about you, but I don't kiss my friends like that."
1731. >You blush and sheepishly rub the back of your neck.
  1732. "I wouldn't really know... I don't really have that many friends."
  1733. >Celestia leaned forward.
1734. >"You're going to have to work on that. Though, you're going to have to start with someone else."
1735. >Before you could ask what she meant, she kissed you.
  1736.
  1737. >You are Celestia.
1738. >Anon said all you needed to hear.
1739. >Your feelings were out in the open and the sentiment was shared.
1740. >You wasted no time in showing him just how much you cared.
1741. >At first, he still seemed terrified that you were even touching him.
  1742. >Intellectually, you realized why.
1743. >Emotionally and physically... Not so much.
1744. >He seemed to get the hint quick enough, as you felt his hands touch your body.
  1745. >Still timid as ever.
1746. >You'd need to work him through that part.
1747. >Nothing you were doing was wrong.
1748. >There was no shame in two people showing that they cared for each other.
1749. >While you might not get to share everything tod-
  1750. >You let out a little squeak.
  1751.
  1752. *****
  1753.
  1754. >You are Anon.
  1755. >Body is on auto-pilot now.
1756. >You were so caught up with how nice she felt, you didn't realize your hands were joining in.
1757. >It was only when she squeaked, did your mind focus enough to know register what you did.
  1758. >Your right hand.
  1759. >Her ass.
  1760. >You squeezed it.
1761. >You were about to apologize.
1762. >You stopped when you looked at her.
1763. >She looks at you with half-lidded eyes and a seductive smile.
  1764. >"Naughty..."
1765. >The low tone she used to say that word set your synapses ablaze.
1766. >All of your clothing felt all together far too constricting.
1767. >She nuzzles into your neck.
  1768. >"Do it again."
1769. >Her lips are brushing against your tender neck flesh.
1770. >You didn't need prompting, your hands knew what they were doing.
  1771. >She let out a low giggle.
  1772. >"Again... harder."
  1773. >This was happening.
1774. >Your hands quickly find new homes on Celestia.
1775. >One takes the small of her back, up and under her shirt.
1776. >The other makes quick work of the buttons on her blouse.
1777. >She bit her bottom lip in and anticipation.
1778. >With the last button undone, the flimsy blouse was slid from your new lover's body.
1779. >You kind of figured Celestia would wear darker undergarments.
1780. >Instead, a lacy white bra with a little black ribbons held her supple breasts in place.
1781. >Celestia looked away, suddenly shy.
1782. >"It's rude to stare you know. I know that I'm a little on the small side-"
  1783. >You silenced her with a kiss.
1784. "The same could be said to you Tia. I saw those hungry eyes."
1785. >You could see her blush.
1786. >You pulled her to you; the feel of her soft warm skin pressing against your naked flesh was almost too much to bear.
1787. >You felt Celestia's silky hair sway against you back causing you to shuddered.
1788. >"Not that I'm not enjoying all this attention but... what do you say we get just a little more comfortable?"
1789. >Her hand slips to a hidden zipper on the side of her skirt.
1790. >In one deft motion, it was off and across the room.
1791. >If you thought you were ready for what you'd be seeing, you were wrong.
1792. >The lacy undergarment that covered her was barely a triangle of white fabric, again embellished with a small black ribbon.
1793. >Your mind did take note of the darker moist spot of the fabric.
1794. >Celestia puts a hand on your stomach and flicks open the button on your pants.
  1795. >"Lift up."
  1796. >You oblige.
1797. >Hooking two fingers into the belt loops of your dress pants, she has them down and off in record time.
1798. >The only thing that separated you now was two flimsy pieces of fabric.
1799. >Your mind, finally done reeling at this happening chimes in.
  1800. >'Two pieces too many.'
1801. >Two pieces too many, indeed.
1802. >But another part of your brain spoke out.
  1803. >You weren't ready for this.
1804. >As much as you wanted to do this, you knew that finishing this would ruin you.
  1805. "Celestia... I..."
1806. >She sighs and lays down beside you, still making sure her body was touching yours.
1807. >"I won't say I'm not surprised. In fact, given your history, I am a bit shocked we got this far."
  1808. >You sighed in defeat.
1809. >You just hoped you didn't ruin your date.
1810. >"Anon- I want to help you through this... I know you aren't ready for sex, but... why don't we do something different?"
1811. >You looked at her quizzically.
1812. >"Did what we do to this point feel wrong, Anon?"
  1813. "No..."
  1814. >You weren't sure you completely understood.
1815. >"I want you to touch me... Touch me however you'd like... We don't have to have sex... but I think... I think this would help... If it feels strange or you get uncomfortable, stop."
1816. >You nodded and your hands gently ran along Celestia's collarbone.
1817. >You smiled as she cooed softly.
1818. >You moved your hands lower to give her chest a light squeeze.
1819. >Her eyes close and she bites her lips to stifle a moan.
  1820. >Simple touch.
1821. >That's all you were doing.
  1822. >You got a little bolder.
1823. >Your left hand gingerly swept down Celestia's side to her hips.
1824. >With your other hand you used a single finger to lightly run a nail in circle just above your lover's bra.
1825. >Her legs lifted and her toes curled.
1826. >She no longer hid the fact she was enjoying herself.
1827. >The bolder of your two hands ran along the top of her panties.
  1828. >"Mmmm"
1829. >You leaned forward to kiss her on her lips, never once stopping either hand.
1830. >Before your eyes shut, you could see her's open wide for just a moment, then shut in contentment.
  1831. >She wanted this.
  1832. >You wanted this.
1833. >Neither of you were forced into this.
1834. >There was no alcohol guiding your hands.
  1835. >Nothing guiding hers.
1836. >While you may not be ready for sex...
1837. >There was something else you could do.
1838. >You broke your kiss and looked deep into Celestia's amethyst eyes.
1839. >An unspoken question passed between you two.
1840. >Your lower hand slides just under her the strings of her panties.
1841. >You could feel her moist lips on your hand.
  1842. >"Anon..."
  1843. >You kiss her.
  1844. >Your hand slides lower.
1845. >Slowly running up and down her.
1846. >She moaned into your mouth.
1847. >Your other hand flitted between breasts, slipping under the soft fabric and, using the sides of your two fingers to gently brush her erect nipples.
1848. >Her hands grabbed weakly at the sheets.
1849. >Your other hand grew braver still, your middle digit entered her while the others continued to massage the outside.
  1850. >Her head tilted back.
  1851. >"Anon... that feels wonderful..."
1852. >It was then you realized an aching between your legs.
1853. >Using the hand on Celestia's breasts, you take hold of her hand and guide her to you.
  1854. >No.
  1855. >You weren't ready for sex.
1856. >But you could share this moment.
1857. >Her hand gently pressed against your boxers.
1858. >She waited for any sign to stop.
1859. >There were butterflies in your stomach, but they weren't from fear.
1860. >Everything you did now, you chose.
1861. >Her hand plays with your waistband.
1862. >Your hands pick up their pace.
1863. >Her skin touched your shaft.
1864. >You drew in a quick breath at the feeling.
1865. >You kissed her to let her know it was alright to continue.
  1866. >Timidly, she caressed you.
  1867. >Each stroke getting bolder.
  1868. >Just like you.
1869. >You felt pressure building in you.
1870. >You knew your first outing would be quick.
1871. >Your finger now moved much faster.
  1872. >In and out.
  1873. >Celestia squirmed lightly.
  1874. >Her hand increased speed.
1875. >You moved in for your last kiss before you were over the edge.
1876. >You felt Celestia's walls clench as she now ground against you and drenched your hand.
1877. >Your own release came slightly after, thankfully Celestia had enough sense to move your boxers out of the way.
1878. >Your seed spilt onto the sheets beside you.
1879. >Exhausted and slightly trembling you retrieve your had from Celestia's underwear, now soaked because of you.
1880. >You pulled your lover closer to you and nuzzled into her chest.
1881. >You could hear her heartbeat in your ears.
1882. >Celestia's arms pulled you close.
1883. >Instinctively, you nuzzle into her neck.
  1884. >"Anon..."
1885. >You look up at her.
1886. >Her eyes shimmer with the tell tale signs of tears.
1887. >Not of sadness, but of joy.
  1888. >"I love you, Anonymous."
1889. >There was more, you could hear it in her tone.
1890. >But now was not the time.
1891. "I love you too, Celestia."
1892. >A restful sleep came quickly for you both.
  1893.
  1894. **************
  1895.
  1896. **************
  1897.
  1898. >You are Anon.
1899. >You flush as you recall the events of last night.
1900. >Beside you Celestia still sleeps.
1901. >You pull the blankets up over her and get out of bed.
1902. >You quietly move about the room and collect your discarded clothing.
1903. >You leave your dress shirt.
1904. >Celestia was partially sleeping on it.
1905. >That done, you move to your room and get partially dressed in yesterday's clothing.
1906. >You were going to need a shower anyway.
1907. >You could feel the sweat on you.
1908. >You set about tidying up yesterday's mess in the kitchen and dining room.
1909. >It didn't really take all that long.
1910. >What time was it anyway?
  1911. >7:29am.
1912. >Pretty late for an early riser like Tia.
1913. >You set about making some simple toast and eggs.
1914. >Breakfast in bed would be another nice surprise.
1915. >You turned on the coffee maker and sighed as it began to brew.
1916. >As you wait for the coffee, you hear the soft footfalls of Celestia coming down the hall.
1917. >Her hair is disheveled, she still looked half asleep.
1918. >You also notice that your dress shirt is the only thing that she was wearing.
  1919. >"What's cooking?"
  1920. >You smile.
  1921. "Just a little something."
1922. >She walks behind you and hooks her arms up under your, giving you a hug from behind.
1923. >She gives you a kiss on the cheek.
  1924. >"Mmmm... Good morning."
1925. "This morning certainly does have it's upsides."
1926. >She smiles and grabs her coffee.
1927. >You plate up breakfast and you both eat in a comfortable silence.
  1928. >"So Celestia, what's on the ad-"
  1929. *Riiiiing. Riiiiiing*
  1930. >The house phone.
1931. >Who could be calling at this hour.
  1932. >Celestia answers
1933. >"Hello, Celestia speaking how can I- Luna?!"
  1934. >Luna was calling?
1935. >"And he just kicked you out!?"
  1936. >You shoot Celestia a puzzled look.
1937. >"Of course you can stay with me Sis, I'd love to have- Shit."
1938. >Celestia looks at you worried.
1939. >"No sis, it's not a big deal. You remember that thing I told you about. Yes. Yes him. Well he is still living here."
  1940. >Your eyes grew wide.
1941. >"Just stay there, I'll come get you and we can talk about then."
1942. >You might just be dead.
  1943. >"I promise I'll only be a few minutes."
  1944. >You shoot Celestia a worried look.
1945. >"Yes, I need a shower but I'll take it when I get back. I love you too Sis."
1946. >Celestia hangs up the phone.
  1947. "What just happened?"
1948. >"Luna's cheating bastard of a fiancée just threw her out of her home. Looks like she's going to have to stay with us for a while."
1949. "Does she know about us?"
  1950. >Celestia freezes.
1951. >"I was hoping to tell her if we made it official... considering it happened only yesterday evening..."
  1952. "Would she care?"
  1953. >Celestia shakes her head.
1954. >"My sister can be pretty old fashioned about somethings. She might not like the fact I am technically your legal guardian, you are a student at our high school and you are just shy of the age of majority. Oh sweetie, I didn't even think-"
  1955. >You cut her off.
1956. "She's your family, and this was bound to have to happen sooner or later. I would never ask you to choose between me and your family... It just means... Well I am not really sure what it means right now. What I am sure of is that you need to get dress and get her."
1957. >Celestia nods, still clearly distraught.
1958. "Things have a way of working out."
1959. >"I know that Anonymous, it's just... we've only just started to accept our shared feelings. If she doesn't agree, with one phone call they would take you away."
  1960. >That thought terrified you.
1961. >Back out alone in the world.
1962. >The one you care about potentially in prison and permanently blacklisted, most likely never to be seen again,
1963. >You honestly don't think you could take that.
1964. >But you put on a brave face.
1965. "We'll deal with that when we come to it. For now we both have something that needs to be done."
1966. >She gives you a quick hug and rushes down the hall.
1967. >You made a mental checklist of everything you would need to tidy, wash or dispose of.
1968. >You were scared, but you needed to be strong.
1969. >Celestia was strong for you.
1970. >Now you needed to be strong for her.
1971. >Thank God you were on vacation this week.
1972. >You weren't sure just how long you had to get everything done.
1973. >Clothes needed to be gathered for washing.
1974. >Bedding needed to be stripped.
1975. >Celestia's room would need to be aired out.
1976. >Time was short and the second Celestia left, you set to work.
  1977. >...
1978. >That was a lot easier then you expected.
1979. >Everything looked like the day you first got here.
  1980. >Besides the laundry room.
1981. >It was stuffed with your dirty clothes now.
1982. >You even had enough time to make a nearly functioning bed out of the couch.
1983. >You were completely sure that you would be losing the use of the guest room.
1984. >You decide to tempt fate and take your shower in the shared bathroom.
1985. >You drop your dirty clothes into the laundry room on the way by.
1986. >Warm water rolled down your body washing away yesterday's activities from your skin.
1987. >All you needed was your...
  1988. >Soap.
  1989. >You didn't grab your soap.
  1990. >Or your clean clothes.
1991. >You slip out of the shower and wrap a bath towel around your waist.
1992. >You make a mad dash to the guest room.
1993. >You grab your shampoo and conditioner.
  1994. >You hear voices.
1995. >They had to get back now?!
1996. >As you open wide the door, the front door opens.
  1997. >You freeze.
  1998. >"As I was sayin---"
  1999. >There was Luna.
  2000. >And Celestia.
  2001. >You hear a wet plopping sound.
  2002. >There goes your towel.
  2003.
  2004. **********
  2005.
  2006. >You are Luna.
2007. >Recently dumped, you are moving in with your sister Celestia and her ward, Anonymous.
2008. >You had suspected your fiancee was having 'relations' with someone other than you for a little while.
2009. >Turns out you were right.
2010. >Now you were walking into your sister's apartment.
2011. >There was a dripping semi-naked young man standing mortified in the front hall.
  2012. >Correction.
  2013. >Completely naked.
2014. >Were you in better spirits, you might have laughed.
2015. >Instead you turn to your sister.
2016. "I'll presume, dear sister, that the naked young man in your foyer would be Anonymous."
2017. >The look of shock on your sister's face was exactly what you expected it would be.
2018. >Even as upset as you were, you couldn't help but manage a little smile.
2019. >Anon blushes bright red and retrieves his towel, trying to recover whatever dignity he had left.
2020. >"Yeee-ah, that's me Anonymous. F-feel free to call me Anon."
2021. >His recovery time was commendable.
2022. "Perhaps we can become more properly introduced after you have finished your shower."
2023. >He nods shakily and rushes back to the bathroom.
2024. >You take notice of several small scars on his back before he disappears.
2025. "Sister, you have a little explaining to do."
  2026.
  2027. ****************
  2028.
  2029. >You are Celestia.
2030. >You had hoped that Luna would take to Anon, so explaining your relationship might have been easier for her to take.
2031. >After Anon ran down the hall. you knew you we in for it.
2032. >"Sister, you have a little explaining to do."
  2033. >You brace yourself.
2034. >"While you explained that you would be taking in a student in, you never explained exactly why. Judging by the numerous scars on Anonymous's back, I can infer that his home life was neither a short or happy one."
  2035. >Well that was unexpected.
2036. "Anonymous' home life included regular abuse. I would rather it be him explaining it to you then me."
2037. >"Fair enough. I'll hold my questions until we are properly introduced. Could I trouble you for some tea?"
2038. >That went better then expected.
2039. >You start boiling some water.
  2040. >"If I may..."
  2041. >What's this now?
  2042. "What's the matter, Luna?"
2043. >"Have the two of you been careful?"
2044. >Your mind fractures at the question.
2045. >How could she have known?
2046. >You hadn't even been really together for a day and somehow she picked that up?
  2047. "W-what do you m-mean Luna?"
2048. >"Exactly what I said. Even the implication of relationship between an educator and a student could be potentially damning for the both of you. Have you made sure that no one has seen you?"
2049. >Seen you? How could anyone had seen you?
2050. >Anonymous, now fully clothed, walks into the kitchen.
2051. >"Ah Anonymous, perhaps there you will be able to answer my question. Have you and Celestia been careful about who sees you out together?"
2052. >You have to give Anon credit for not completely freaking out.
  2053. >"She told you?"
2054. >"Told me what? Is something more going on? I want to know if anyone had seen you out and about leaving the school together. As I said to my sister, an implication of a relationship could be potentially damning. Is there something further going on?"
2055. >Luna had turned to you.
2056. >Anon looked similar to a deer in headlights.
2057. >You realize that Anon walked right into that one.
2058. >You could see the shame in his eyes.
  2059.
  2060. **********
  2061.
  2062. >You are Anon.
2063. >And you just screwed up big time.
2064. >You had just inadvertently revealed that you were in a relationship with the principal of your school to the vice-principal of the same school who also happens to be her sister.
2065. >Saying it that way made it all seem even worse.
2066. >Luna pushes for more information.
2067. >"Are you actually in a relationship with Anonymous?"
2068. >Celestia bit her lip and looked away.
  2069. >She turned to you.
2070. >Her eyes intensity burned you.
2071. >"As much as I would rather hear it from my sister, I need to know. Are you in a relationship with Celestia?"
  2072. >You considered lying.
2073. >You could put on a face and say that you were talking about you living here.
  2074. >You could do that...
  2075. >But why should you.
2076. "Well Luna. If you really need to know...."
  2077.
  2078. *****
  2079.
  2080. >You are Celestia.
  2081. >You couldn't answer her.
2082. >You just bit you lip and looked away.
2083. >"Well Luna, if you really need to know about the personal life of your sister, Yes."
2084. >Your breath caught in your throat.
2085. >You wanted to hear Luna's rebuttal but Anon continued.
2086. >"To answer your earlier question, yes. We have always been careful to make sure we left a fair bit after classes had finished."
2087. >You could hear anger edging into Anon's tone.
  2088. >"How long?"
2089. >"How long what Luna? How long have I been attracted to your sister? How long have we officially been together?"
2090. >Your sister remained deadly calm.
2091. >"How long have you been together?"
2092. >Anon was about to blow his top.
  2093. "One evening."
2094. >Luna turned to you in surprise.
2095. "One wonderful evening with the person I just went through hell and back for and with. Hell, I would do it again if I had to."
2096. >Luna's demeanor collapsed under gaze.
2097. "I know you want me to do what is best for me but in the most intimate parts of my life, I would rather you stayed out of it. I am fully aware what could happen should word get out. I am fully aware that you could be the one to do it."
2098. >Luna's anger was replaced with indignation.
2099. >"I would never do that to you!"
2100. "With the way you are acting, I'm not so sure! Besides, who are YOU to question anything about love?! Didn't your fiance just sleep around with your neighbor?"
2101. >Luna's eyes grew wide and tears fell freely.
2102. >You realize what you had just said.
2103. >Luna pushed herself away from the table and ran into the guest bedroom, crying loudly.
  2104. "Luna...I..."
  2105. >The door slammed loudly.
2106. >What had you just done?
  2107.
  2108. **********
  2109.
  2110. >You are Anon.
2111. >That was the first time you had ever seen Celestia's temper.
2112. >This was also the first time you had seen someone so expertly tear someone's heart out.
2113. >Celestia's own eyes grew with the realization at what she had just done.
2114. >"Anon... what did... why did I do that?"
  2115. >You shook your head.
2116. "I knew you were upset, but I did not see that coming."
2117. >"I don't know what came over me. I need to apologize."
2118. >She tries to walk past you, but you stop her.
2119. "You do, but know really isn't the time for that. You really need to let her calm down first Tia."
  2120. >Celestia relents.
2121. >"I think... I am going to go take a shower and lie down."
  2122. >You nod.
2123. >You lay on your makeshift bed and waited.
2124. >For what you, weren't sure but you were waiting.
  2125. >...
2126. >No one came out for dinner that night.
  2127.
  2128. *************
  2129.
  2130. >You open your eyes.
2131. >You must have fallen asleep at some point because it was very dark out.
2132. >You hear the quiet footfalls of someone moving to one of the large picture windows.
  2133. >It was Luna.
2134. >Her long black hair ran down her back.
  2135. >Just like her sisters.
  2136. "Hey..."
2137. >Luna turns to you with a start.
2138. >"Oh!... Anonymous... forgive me I had forgotten you were sleeping here."
2139. >She was back to being polite.
2140. "We need to talk... about everything."
2141. >'Whatever for? Celly made it perfectly cle-"
2142. >You raised a hand in the darkness.
2143. "You know Celestia better then I do, but even I know that something you said had to make her upset enough to break like that."
  2144. >Luna lowered her head.
2145. "I don't want to wake up Tia, so we need to move someplace else for this."
  2146. >Luna thinks for a moment.
  2147. >"I know a place. Hold on a moment."
2148. >You see her disappear into her room and return with her keys.
2149. >She motions to the front door.
  2150. >"Go to the Elevator."
  2151. >Pensive, you follow Luna's instructions.
2152. >She reveals her own key to the one of the locks.
2153. >She nods at you as the elevator's engine hums to life.
  2154.
  2155. **********
  2156.
2157. >The elevator opens to reveal a small service room with a wooden door
2158. >Luna completely ignores everything and opens the door.
2159. >Even in the pale moonlight, you could see the beauty before you.
2160. >It was a rooftop garden, meticulously well kept and maintained.
2161. >"I used to come up here whenever Celly and I had a fight when we were still living together."
2162. >You nodded at the decidedly more childish Luna before you.
2163. >"So... what exactly did you want to talk to me about?"
2164. "Everything that has lead up to this point. Every reason why I care for Tia the way I do."
  2165. >And you did.
2166. >What happened to you as a child.
  2167. >Why Celestia helped you.
2168. >The time leading up to your court date.
2169. >What had happened at the end.
2170. >The even the dance you both shared.
  2171. >"I... I didn't realize."
2172. "Of course you didn't, you never asked. You came into her home and just started questioning her. You put her on the defensive."
  2173. >Luna sighs.
2174. >"I was trying to protect her for a change. Ever since we were little, Celly was always protecting me. Sometimes even when she could get into some serious trouble."
2175. >That made some sense, you had to admit having someone open their home to you seemed like asking for trouble.
2176. >"I was a bit of a problem child, more then a couple times in school I would get into fights... Celestia would be the one to keep me from really hurting anyone."
  2177. >Sounded like Celestia.
2178. >"I wasn't trying to say that I disapproved of your, admittedly unorthodox, relationship... More, I was just more concerned about Celestia's job than about her personally."
  2179. >You nod.
2180. >"I think you care for her greatly, but you need to realize that for as long as you are a Canterlot High student, your relationship with Celly can not exist outside of your home. That isn't just for Celestia's sake either, it's for you as well."
2181. "Tia mentioned some potential consequences this morning before she went to get you, so I understand. To be honest, I was more worried about how you were going to take it. The rest of the world will judge and gossip regardless, and there will be plenty of jackasses that are better off ignored. You, however, could be family one day."
  2182. >Luna smiles.
2183. >"It seems we got off entirely on the wrong foot."
2184. "Seeing someone strange completely naked in your sister's house might have had something to do with it."
  2185. >Luna chuckles.
2186. >"That was actually rather amusing. Also a rather effective icebreaker, were I in higher spirits."
2187. "If you ever need to talk to someone, you know where I sleep."
2188. >Luna makes an exaggerating thoughtful face.
2189. >"I don't know Anon, Celestia can get pretty upset if she gets woken up in the middle of the night."
2190. >It took you a minute to get that.
2191. >"Before you ask. I don't care what the two of you are doing, just try and keep it down."
  2192. "Noted."
2193. >"We'd best get back. Celestia will worry if we are gone in the morning."
2194. >You take a last look at the starry sky before returning to the elevator.
  2195.
  2196. *****
  2197.
2198. >You bid Luna good night, and walk down the hallway to Celestia's room.
  2199. >There was a faint light on.
  2200. >You knock softly.
2201. >A quiet voice, muffled by the door, calls out.
  2202. >"Who is it?"
2203. >You open the door just enough to answer.
  2204. "It's me."
  2205. >"Anon? Oh please don't come in, I look like a mess."
  2206. "Never to me."
2207. >Celestia's eyes were red and puffy.
2208. >Tissues were haphazardly dropped on the bed.
2209. >"Anon... what if she never wants to talk to me again?"
2210. >You brush away some of the used tissues and pull Celestia to you.
2211. >Back and forward you gently rock.
2212. "I was just talking with her on the roof. She was worried about your professional life and she brought up some good points. We can all talk tomorrow over some breakfast. For now..."
2213. >You gently lift the sheets and cuddle her closer.
2214. >She felt hot from all the crying she had done.
2215. "We'll deal with everything in the morning."
2216. >Tonight, Celestia nuzzled into your chest.
2217. >You smiled and turned off the light.
2218. >As the night's stillness settled over the room, you spoke again.
2219. "Did you mean it? What you said to Luna about us?"
2220. >Your answer came in the form of Celestia's lips pressing softly against yours.
2221. >Her voice was barely a whisper when she answered.
  2222. >"Every word."
  2223.
  2224. ***********************************
  2225.
  2226. >You are Celestia.
2227. >For the first time in your life, morning comes entirely too early for your liking.
2228. >You still lay on Anon, listening to his quiet heartbeat and feeling the gentle rise and fall of his chest.
2229. >While the two of you lay entwined, the world outside your room just didn't exist.
2230. >Your troubled mind was at ease.
2231. >But you knew you would have to face your sister, and apologize for the horrible thing you said.
  2232. >...
2233. >At least you wouldn't be doing it all alone.
  2234. >You still had Anon.
2235. >Speaking of which. it was time to wake him up.
2236. "Anon... come on it's time to get up..."
2237. >He mumbled something in his sleep and pulled you closer.
2238. >Well that wasn't going to do it.
2239. >You lift yourself to his lips, pressing yours against his.
2240. "Come on, we can't stay in bed all day."
  2241. >Still he slept.
2242. >This might call for drastic measures.
2243. >You kiss his lower lip again, but this time you gently nibble
2244. >You feel at least 'part' of Anon was waking up
  2245.
  2246. *****
  2247.
  2248. >You are Anon.
2249. >You were awoken to the pleasant surprise of Celestia laying on top of you, softly biting your lower lip.
2250. >This turned out to be far too much stimulation this early in the morning.
2251. >Your mind may have been sleep addled but you still were conscious enough to move your hands to the back of her head and the small of her back.
  2252. >You deepened the kiss.
  2253. >After a moment, Celestia's tongue joined yours in a dance.
2254. >After an all-too-brief moment, Celestia breaks the kiss and smiles.
  2255. >"Good morning, Anon."
  2256. >Good morning indeed.
  2257. " 'Morning, Tia."
2258. >"We'll be picking this up later, I promise. For now it's time to get up. We've got some pretty important things to do today."
  2259. >Inwardly, you groan.
2260. >That was starting to feel really nice.
  2261. >Although, she was right.
2262. >It was later then usual and there was still the matter of Luna sleeping in the room next door.
2263. >While she may have given you the okay for what you were doing, there was still the matter of patching the relationship between the sisters to be dealt with first.
  2264. >Besides.
  2265. >She promised.
2266. >Celestia gets out of bed and heads to the bathroom.
2267. >You slip on some of yesterday's clothes and go down the hall to the living room where your makeshift bed lay disused.
2268. >You were glad you moved some of your clothing out here, otherwise you would be in a bit of a jam here.
2269. >Pants and an unbuttoned dress shirt.
2270. >It wasn't like you planned on going anywhere today anyway.
2271. >You head into the kitchen to start the morning ritual of preparing coffee.
2272. >Celestia came down the hall with a smile on her face.
2273. >"Don't forget to boil some water for Luna's tea."
  2274. >You nod.
2275. >She enters the kitchen and starts pulling some things out of the fridge.
  2276. >You watch in interest.
2277. >Seemingly satisfied with the ingredients she's placed on the counter, she turns to you and rests her hands on your chest.
2278. >"You go sit down, I can handle cooking today."
2279. "Alright. If you say so."
2280. >You caress Celestia's cheek and give her a quick peck.
2281. >You were still a little high-strung about the lovely wake up call you had.
2282. >Anything more and Luna might be walking into something a little worse then just you naked.
2283. >Grabbing your morning coffee, you sit down and replay the conversation you had with Luna from the night before.
  2284. >She was completely right.
  2285.
  2286. *****
  2287.
  2288. >You are Luna.
2289. >You are awoken by the smell of something cooking.
  2290. >Pancakes.
2291. >Not just any kind either, blueberry pancakes.
2292. >Celly was bringing out the big guns.
2293. >She always made blueberry pancakes after a fight as an apology.
2294. >She must be pretty upset.
2295. >You had already forgiven her for what she had said.
2296. >You just hadn't been able to tell her yet.
2297. >After quickly getting dressed, you walked into the kitchen.
2298. >Anonymous and Celly were have a polite conversation about something or other.
2299. >"Luna! Good morning. I'll have your tea ready in a minute."
2300. >Anonymous gives you a nod and you join him at the table.
2301. >Celestia sets plates in front of both you and Anon, then seats herself.
2302. >An empty pause fills the room.
  2303. >'Well, here it goes.'
  2304.
  2305. >You are Anon.
2306. >'Awkward' did not even begin to explain the feeling in the air.
  2307. >Neither sister was talking.
2308. >Just the clatter of knives striking porcelain.
2309. >There was no death stares.
  2310. >No angry faces.
  2311. >Just silence.
  2312. >"Sister..."
  2313. >Luna whispered.
2314. >"Luna, I have to apologize. What I said to you about your relationship was completely uncalled for-"
2315. >"Had I not come into your home asking such personal questions about something I didn't completely understand, this wouldn't have happened in the first pl-"
2316. >Celestia rests a hand on Luna's shoulder, causing her to freeze.
2317. >"Regardless of what put me to that point, I should never have brought something like that into it. Can you forgive me of that?"
  2318. >Luna nods.
2319. >"If you forgive me about pushing you to answer such an intrusive question about your personal life. I only wanted to make sure you hadn't done something that would cost you your job."
2320. >Celestia pulls her sister into a tight embrace.
  2321. >"Of course I forgive you, Lulu."
2322. >They probably did not want you to see this.
2323. >You try to get up from your chair quietly, but they hear you.
  2324. >"Anonymous."
  2325. >Luna addresses you.
2326. >"Either as my sister's ward or as her lover, you are a part of this too. I must apologize for putting you on the spot yesterday. I don't want there to be any bad blood between us."
  2327. >You take a moment to ruminate.
2328. "I'll admit I was upset yesterday when you did that, but you explained yourself to me. We both care for Celestia, so you are forgiven."
2329. >Celestia half lets go of Luna and beckons you over.
2330. >You look at her, incredulous.
  2331. >"Come on, Anonymous."
  2332. >Celestia cracks a smile.
  2333. "Seriously?"
  2334. >You deadpan.
2335. >"Blueberry pancakes and a hug are generally how most arguments between us end. You were bound to learn that at some point."
2336. >Luna was being completely serious.
2337. >Realizing there was going to be no way out of this otherwise, you relent and join the sisters in their embrace.
  2338. >...
2339. >This was not as weird as you thought it was going to be.
  2340.

  2342.
  2343. >You are Anon.
2344. >It's been over two weeks since Luna moved in.
2345. >Today on the ride to school, Luna asked you to come see her during your lunch break.
2346. >Why she didn't talk to you at home, you weren't sure.
2347. >But if it was important enough for her to say it to you in the first place, you knew it would be best to oblige her.
2348. >On the way up to the office, your mind wandered to the two women you now lived with.
2349. >The only real difference between before Luna moved in and now was that you permanently slept with Celestia at night.
2350. >You did notice fairly big differences between the two sisters.
2351. >Celestia, by and large, was very much a morning person.
2352. >From the moment she got out of bed, she was ready for the day.
2353. >Luna, on the other hand, barely seemed to function without her morning tea.
2354. >You laughed as you recall a very tired Luna in pajamas patiently waiting for the water to boil.
2355. >By contrast, she was very much a night owl, while Celestia would usually be turning in around 10.
2356. >You had almost walked right past Luna's office door while your mind was off elsewhere.
  2357. >You knocked.
2358. >"Ah, Mr. Smith, it is good of you to come and see me."
2359. > That was the other thing.
2360. >Outside of the apartment, she insisted on addressing everyone formally.
2361. >"See that you shut that door, we have an important matter to discuss."
2362. >You are a little confused, but you do as you are asked.
2363. >"You are probably wondering why I called you here."
  2364. "I'll admit, vice-principal, I am."
2365. >"You are most likely unaware that this coming Friday is Principal Celestia's birthday. Surely you know what that means."
  2366. >Celestia never mentioned that.
2367. >"I propose that we conspire together for some form of celebration."
2368. "Sure thing, vice-principal. Do you have anything in mind?"
  2369. >"Cake."
  2370. >You are a little bewildered.
  2371. "Cake?"
2372. >"We shall bake my sister a cake."
2373. >She says this as if it is the greatest truth ever told.
  2374. "Uh... Sure, but why?"
2375. >Luna looks at you quizzically.
2376. >"Have you never seen Celestia around cake?"
  2377. >You shake your head.
  2378. "Can't say that I have."
  2379. >Luna laughs.
2380. >"Then we will definitely be baking."
  2381. >You shrug.
2382. >What's the worst that could happen?

2387. >Turns out an awful lot can go wrong.
2388. >You borrowed the Home Ec. class in the high school to keep the surprise under wraps.
2389. >The icing was too watery.
2390. >The bag of flour you were using split all over the floor
2391. >The batter undercooked and rose lopsided.
2392. >Most of the pans were dented and ruined from excessive use.
2393. >Looking at the complete failure of a confectionery, you drop it - pan and all- into a trash can.
  2394. >"Anonymous?"
  2395. "Yes Luna."
2396. >She was splattered with uncooked batter and flour.
2397. >"Remind me to put some more funding into getting some more adequate equipment for the Home Economics department."
2398. >The state of your own clothes weren't much better.
  2399. "Can do."
  2400. >"And Anonymous-"

  2402. >"Deal."

  2409. >Whatever.
2410. >Luna comes out of the store.
2411. >"Is there something the matter Anonymous?"
2412. "What exactly did you buy?"
  2413. >Luna smirks at you.
2414. >"Ear plugs, amongst other things. Some fem-"
  2415. "Yeah, nevermind that."
2416. >Great, now Luna was acting strange.
  2417. >Friday couldn't get here quick enough.
  2418.
  2419. *********
  2420.
  2421. >Friday Morning rolled in.
2422. >Celestia had set her alarm a little later then normal so she could sleep in.
2423. >You briefly considered the same trick she used on you, but today was a school day.
2424. >That and if she reacted poorly, you didn't want her Birthday ruined because you got a little overeager.
2425. >Instead, you slipped into the bathroom to change and go make breakfast.
2426. >As you padded down the hall, you heard a soft singing coming from the kitchen.
2427. >It was Luna, and she appeared to be making some kind of fruit salad.
2428. >"Ah Anonymous, I was worried that you might be Celly. Would you help me make breakfast?"
2429. "Considering I had intended on doing it alone, absolutely."
2430. >Eggs sunny side up, and toast to go with Luna's fruit salad.
  2431. >Simple, quick and effective.
2432. >Luna produces a tray and sets it on the counter.
2433. >"If we're lucky, we can catch her in bed."
2434. >While Luna loads up the tray grab Tia a mug of her favourite coffee.
  2435. >Luna gives you a questioning look.
2436. >"Orange juice would completely ruin the flavour of all those fruits you cut up, besides Coffee is her favourite."
2437. >You followed Luna down the hall to Celestia's room.
2438. >Balancing the tray with one hand, Luna knocks on Tia's door.
  2439. >"Sister, are you awake?"
2440. >"Luna...? Do you know where Anonymous is?"
2441. >"He's here with me. Could we come in?
2442. >You hear the sound of rustling fabric.
  2443. >"Alright. Come in."
2444. >You open the door wide and Celestia smiles.
2445. >"Happy Birthday Celly! We made some of your favourites!"
2446. >Luna was almost bouncing with joy.
2447. "Luna did most of the work. I just made the eggs."
  2448. >Celestia laughed.
2449. >"Well regardless, thank you both."
2450. >You smile as you listen to Luna and Celestia chatter over he breakfast.
  2451. >"Anonymous."
2452. >Celestia only ever used your full name to get your attention.
2453. >"Could you take care of my dishes? Luna and I have to discuss something in private."
  2454. "Sure thing Tia."
2455. >You lean over and give her a good morning kiss and take the tray away.
2456. >You hear some faint whispers as you head down the hall.
2457. >Deciding not to dwell on the sister's strange behaviour, you go to the kitchen to make your own breakfast and take care off the dishes.
2458. >While doing the dishes, you couldn't help but wonder what those two were up to.
2459. >Your mind rationalized that Luna was going to talk to Celestia about something and she just wasn't comfortable enough to tell you about it.
  2460. >Seemed logical enough.
2461. >With the last plate washed, you look the rest of the coffee in your mug and waited for them to get ready to get going.
2462. >You really hoped today would go by quick.
  2463. >....
2464. >Soon enough Luna was walking down the hall with a smile on her face.
  2465. >Celestia followed after her.
2466. >When you looked at Celestia, she blushed and looked away.
  2467. >Strange.
  2468.
  2469. *****
  2470.
  2471. >You are Celestia.
2472. >You couldn't believe you actually let yourself be talked into wearing-
  2473. >Gah!
2474. >You didn't even want to think about it.
2475. >You couldn't even make eye contact with Anon.
2476. >Sure, you wanted him to see it later but-
2477. >Why did she convince you to wear it all day?
2478. >"You alright Tia? Your looking a little flushed."
2479. >Anon's emerald eyes look at you in concern.
2480. >You could she your sister barely stifling a laugh.
2481. >You'd get her back later.
2482. "I'm fine Anon, my sister was helping me pick out an outfit and I believe I may have gotten up too fast."
2483. >He's still looks concerned but he gives you a hug.
2484. >"If you say so Tia. Shall we get going? The quicker we get there, the quicker we can leave."
2485. >You really hope the day would go by quickly.
  2486.
  2487. ********************
  2488.
  2489. >You are Anon.
2490. >The day can not end quick enough.
2491. >Ms. Faith has been extra bitchy to you lately.
2492. >Today was a little worse then usual.
2493. >"Anonymous, you will have that report on my desk by Monday or you will fail my class."
  2494. >Yup, more bullshit work.
2495. >No one else ever got these "reports"
2496. >You considered telling Celestia, but what would be the point.
2497. >You would just throw this one together tomorrow.
2498. >Tonight was Celestia's birthday celebration, and you'd be damned if you let this old bat ruin it for you.
2499. >The bell rang, you were gone.
2500. >Celestia and Luna seemed to share the sentiment.
  2501.
  2502. *****
  2503.
  2504. >You are Celestia.
2505. >You are driving home with everyone.
2506. >Today just seemed to drag up to this point.
2507. >You were excited for the cake Luna had promised you.
2508. >You were even more excited to show Anon what Luna had bought you for your Birthday.
2509. >Luna was chatting amiably to Anon about some antics from the staff lunchroom today.
2510. >You were happy they were getting along so well together, and that Luna had approved of your relationship.
2511. >You decide to interject with a mundane question about dinner.
  2512. >Luna understood why.
2513. >You were going to finally have your chance to fulfill that promise, and you wanted as much time with Anon as either of you could handle.
  2514.
  2515. *****
  2516.
2517. >Pleasant dinner aside, your doubts were starting to settle in.
  2518. >What if Anon didn't like it?
2519. >What if you said something and he freaked out?
2520. >"Well Sister, I'm going to turn in a little early tonight this evening. I hope you had a nice birthday."
  2521. >That was the signal.
  2522. >You hear Luna's door close.
2523. >It was just you and Anon now.
2524. "Anonymous... would you like to see what Luna got me for my special day?"
2525. >He turned in his seat to look at you.
2526. >Your heart was hammering in your chest.
2527. >It was now or never.
2528. >You held your hand out.
  2529.
  2530. ******
  2531.
  2532. >You are Anonymous.
2533. >Celestia was holding her hand out to you.
2534. >And the way she asked if you wanted to see her sister's gift caused a little stirring.
  2535. "I love too..."
2536. >"Before that... today was miserable at work... think you could give me a hug?
2537. >Her face gave her away if she was trying to be subtle.
2538. >You got up and walked right into her open arm, which she causally draped over your shoulder.
2539. >You decide to let your mind take a break.
2540. >Your body seemed to know it's way pretty well now.
2541. >Your arms wrapped around her and you could hear her sigh of contentment.
2542. >"I've been waiting all day for that..."
2543. "Were you now... nothing else?"
2544. >She smiles seductively, and her eyes narrow.
2545. >"Can you blame a girl for wanting a kiss from her boyfriend?"
2546. >That was the first time she ever called you that.
2547. "Not one as pretty as you."
2548. >You pull her to your lips.
2549. >They were as soft as ever.
2550. >She however. takes the lead.
2551. >Within moment she had her hands back up in your hair, pushing you closer to her.
2552. >Her tongue prodded for entry into your mouth.
2553. >You relent, allow her to start a tongue war.
2554. >You fair significantly better then last time.
2555. >Your hands were not idle.
2556. >No, one found a spot just above your lover's tailbone.
2557. >The other ran through her silky tresses.
2558. >When you break for air she looks at you, her eyes are glossy.
2559. >"So maybe I was hoping for a little more..."
2560. >She starts kissing your neck.
  2561. >Her warm breath tickling
2562. >The sensations were driving you near to insanity.
2563. >"Would you try and stop me?"
2564. >Your hand abandoned Celestia's hair in favour of something more solid.
2565. >She hums as both your hands move to grope her skirt clad bottom.
  2566. >"Remember what I told you..."
2567. >She puts her lips right beside your ear.
  2568. >"Harder."
2569. >You squeezed and she let out a low moan.
2570. >"I know you can do a better job then that Anon."
2571. >You could hear she was teasing you.
2572. "With your skirt, on it's a little hard to get my hands on you."
2573. >"So take it off. I'm not going stop you."
  2574. >She didn't miss a beat.
2575. >That phrase pretty much told you, this was happening.
2576. >You halt your groping for a moment.
2577. >She looks at you, slightly upset.
  2578. >"I didn't say stop Anon..."
2579. "Weren't you going to show me something?"
  2580. >She smiles.
2581. >"Let's take this back to our room... shall we?"
  2582. "Lets."
  2583.
  2584. *********
  2585.
2586. >You wasted no time nearly running down the hall.
2587. >As soon as you had the door open and closed, Celestia had you back in her arms.
2588. >This time however, she added her lower body to the mix.
2589. >Your body was firing on all cylinders now.
2590. >"You want to see what Luna got me?"
2591. >You nod, unwilling to trust your voice.
2592. >"Let's play a little game. One for one. I'll take one off you, then you do me... sound fair?"
  2593. >You nod again.
2594. >She has your shirt off in seconds.
2595. >You pull the edges of her shirt.
2596. >She giggles and raises her arms.
  2597. >Up and o-----
  2598. >Whoa now...
2599. >Before you, Celestia stands in a half cup bra that could barely contain her ample chest contained. from it's bottom a form fitting lace sleeve emphasizing all of Celestia's curves.
  2600. >"Like what you see?"
2601. >Your eyes roam all over her as you nod.
2602. >She places her hands on the front of your dress pants, careful to avoid anywhere little Anon might be.
2603. >"I bet these feel awfully uncomfortable. Let me help you out of those."
2604. >Deft fingers had your button and fly off in no time.
2605. >Soon, all you are left in is your boxers.
  2606. >Celestia didn't wait this time.
2607. >She slipped her skirt off and revealed the last piece of the surprise.
2608. >To call that underwear would be a misnomer.
2609. >It looked skimpier then a thong and just lightly dent into her flesh.
2610. >She did a little twirl and you see it all.
2611. >The white fabric of the panties vanished into the valley between her ass cheeks.
2612. >With a seductive smirk she lead you to the bed....
2613. >She sits on the edge of the bed.
2614. >When you go to join her, she slips her slender fingers under the waistband of your boxers.
2615. >She looks up at you, pleading with her eyes.
2616. >"I was wondering if we might try something more."
2617. >Giving her a little nod, she exposed you fully.
2618. >You close your eyes at the feeling of the cool night air washing over you.
2619. >They shoot back open upon feeling Celestia's gentle hands lightly running her fingers up and down your shaft.
2620. >She looks you right in the eyes.
2621. >Even now, she still worried that you might tell her to stop.
  2622. "I'm yours..."
2623. >You barely manage to speak.
2624. >Whatever part of your mind that was keeping up with you just disappeared.
2625. >Celestia's tongue was running along your shaft.
  2626. >Up and down.
2627. >She tentatively licked the tip.
  2628. >You shudder.
2629. >"You're entirely too far away from me."
2630. >You climb on to the bed beside Celestia.
2631. >She pushes you lightly to have you lie down.
  2632. >Her lips claim yours.
2633. >Her breath was so warm.
2634. >Her lace clad body just barely touched yours.
2635. >Her hand slips back to your member.
2636. >God, all the sensations were getting to you.
2637. >When you break for air, Celestia's amethyst eyes look into yours.
2638. >Instinct moved your hands to Celestia's back, fumbling with the clips of her corset.
2639. >Her hands move to your chest, finger pads running ever so softly up you abdomen.
2640. >She straddles your waist and uses her still covered groin to tease your erection.
2641. >You could feel her wetness through the fabric.
2642. >With one final clip, her bare chest and midriff were finally exposed.
2643. >She cooed in pleasure as you removed the lacy underwear from her.
2644. >You hadn't seen Celestia as naked as she was now ever before.
2645. >You lowered your head to take one of her slightly brown nipples in your mouth.
  2646. >She draws in a sharp breath.
2647. >She presses her lower body against yours, pressing as much of her exposed skin against yours as possible.
  2648. >You groaned into Celestia's tit.
2649. >With slight suckling and licking of her nipple she moaned.
  2650. >"Anon..."
  2651. "Tia."
2652. >Your voice was surprisingly steady, all things considered.
2653. >"Not that I'm not enjoying this all, but-"
2654. >You cut her off with a surprise kiss.
2655. >In her shock at the sudden lip contact, you flipped Celestia on her back
2656. >Your hand traveled southbound, eventually coming to rest on top of the moist fabric between her legs.
  2657. >One piece of fabric.
  2658. >One flimsy piece of barely-there fabric.
  2659. >She breaks the kiss.
  2660. >"Anon... If-"
2661. >You slip your finger into her.
  2662. >She gasps.
  2663. "I'm ready Tia..."
2664. >That one, vexing piece of cloth was thrown across the room.
2665. >You take a moment to appreciate the woman you were currently in bed with.
  2666. >She was completely exposed.
2667. >Her body glistened with sweat.
2668. >Her eyes were closed, and she bit her lip trying to contain her moans.
2669. >Still your fingers go in and out of her.
2670. >Something about this lit a fire inside of you.
2671. >You remove your fingers and position your tip at her entrance.
2672. >Freed from your ministrations, she pulls you close to her.
  2673. >"Please..."
  2674. >That was it.
2675. >Tentatively, you pushed your dick into Celestia's inviting body.
2676. >She was warmer then anything you had ever felt before.
2677. >The mixture of the tightness and her heat was almost enough to drive you over the edge.
  2678. >Almost.
2679. >Once you had pushed your way to your hilt, you gave your lover a kiss.
2680. >There was plenty to be thankful to this woman for.
2681. >It was time to show her just how thankful you were.
2682. >Slowly, you rose yourself almost out of her then fell back in.
  2683. >She squealed in ecstasy.
  2684. >Your pace increased.
2685. >So did the volume of Celestia's moans.
2686. >Your hand slipped to the place you were joined.
2687. >You easily found the little nub at Celestia's entrance.
2688. >One touch and she was squirming below you.
  2689. >She was getting closer.
2690. >Her fingernails were digging into your back.
2691. >You felt pressure building in you as well.
2692. >The pleasure was making it hard to focus.
  2693. >"I'-m... close."
2694. >You feel her clench tightly around your member.
2695. >You feel yourself going to your limit.
2696. >You try to pull yourself out, but Celestia's legs trap you against her.
  2697. >"In...side."
2698. >She can barely form the words.
2699. >You hilt one last time and you feel the pressure finally release.
2700. >She almost screams as you finish.
2701. >Breathing heavily, fall beside her.
2702. >She pulls herself onto your chest, and settles so she can hear your heartbeat.
2703. >Her touch is tender and exhausted.
2704. >Her eyes droop low and she smiles.
  2705. >"I love you, Anonymous."
2706. >The tenderness in her voice caused a warm feeling to spread over your body.
2707. "I love you too, Celestia."
2708. >Your head rolls to the side and you spy something out of place on the nightstand.
2709. >Still recovering from the euphoria, you can barely make out what they are.
  2710. >Earplugs.
2711. >Celestia's hand tilts your head back to face her.
  2712. >She gives you a heartfelt kiss.
2713. >Soon, the oddity of the item is lost in the kiss.
  2714. >The world melts away.
  2715. >You fell asleep smiling.
  2716.
  2717. ***************
  2718.
  2719. >You are Celestia.
2720. >You awaken after a wonderful evening with Anon.
2721. >You recall seeing Anon looking at something before you both fell asleep.
2722. >Looking to your night table, it was a package of ear plugs.
  2723. >That couldn't be right.
2724. >Luna had only bought a pair for herself.
2725. >That means she forgot them in your room yesterday.
  2726. >That meant...
  2727. >Oh, God.
  2728. >She heard everything.
2729. >You were going to have to go and apologize to her.
  2730.
  2731. *****
  2732.
  2733. >You are Luna.
2734. >Yesterday evening, you decided to let your sister and her boyfriend have some private time.
2735. >You never knew your sister could be that loud.
2736. >You had left your earplugs in their room somewhere.
2737. >Well, it wasn't like you needed to be sleeping.
2738. >And you certainly didn't leave them in there on purpose because of ----
2739. >A knock at the door killed that train of thought quick enough.
  2740. >"Luna? Are you awake?"
2741. "Hello Celly, did you need something?"
2742. >Her face was as impassive as ever.
2743. >"Luna, we didn't happen to keep you up last night, did we?"
2744. "Why ever would you think that?"
2745. >"Well, we did get a little loud. I was hoping that you didn't.."
2746. >She was just being her regular, protective self.
2747. "Trust me Celly, I slept like a baby."
2748. >Not a lie, you did sleep better then you had in ages.
  2749. >She exhales and smiles.
  2750. >She pulls you into a hug.
  2751. >"I won't tell if you won't."
2752. >You were confused until you felt something drop into your lap.
  2753. >The earplugs.
  2754. "Deal."
2755. >You couldn't look either of them in the eye for a week.
  2756.
  2757. **************
  2758.
  2759. >You are Anon.
2760. >It was almost the end of the year.
  2761. >High School was ending.
2762. >Soon, your life would begin.
  2763. >It was graduation time.
2764. >Canterlot College had accepted you on a full ride scholarship for your Academia.
  2765. >Psychology and Humanity Studies.
2766. >You were going to try and become a counselor for kids like yourself.
2767. >Maybe turn your tragedy into something good.
  2768. >Everything was going great.
2769. >You had Celestia as your lover and best friend.
  2770. >You even had Luna.
  2771. >...
2772. >So why were you so sad?
2773. >By all accounts, everything was going right.
2774. >Yet here you were, sitting on the roof of your home.
2775. >Alone and staring up at the starry night sky...
2776. >It was the last day before Graduation.
  2777. >You felt so hollow.
2778. >After everything you had gone through this year.
2779. >After all the heartache and pain.
  2780. >The love and compassion.
  2781. >You felt strangely empty.
2782. >You felt this way since this week began.
2783. >Hearing all the other student talking about how proud their parents were.
  2784. >It hurt.
  2785. >You didn't have that.
  2786. >You never would.
  2787. >Your mother's mind had permanently fractured.
2788. >Your father was still missing.
2789. >You had no other blood relatives.
2790. >Each day that brought you closer to the end was a day your tears fell harder.
  2791. >"Anonymous?"
2792. >Celestia and Luna had found you.
2793. >Your tears fell from your eyes unashamedly.
  2794. "Tia? Lulu?"
  2795. >Your voice was barely a murmur.
  2796. "Why...?"
  2797. >Luna speaks.
2798. >"We have been worried about you, slipping out of Celly's bed to come here. What has you so upset?"
2799. >Celestia moves to your side and takes you in her arms.
2800. >To your surprise, Luna does as well.
2801. "I'm alone... Among all the students at Canterlot High, I am completely alone..."
2802. >Celestia looks hurt, as does Luna.
2803. >You continue regardless, they needed to know.
2804. "I have no family of my own to be proud of me, the mother I knew is as good as dead, and my father has been gone since I was a child."
2805. >"Anonymous... I must say I am surprised at you."
2806. >Celestia's voice is laced with sadness.
2807. >"Have you forgotten about Luna and me? Have you forgotten how much we both love you? Have you...?"
2808. "I know I still have you both and I didn't mean it that way. It's just... who will be waiting in the stands taking pictures? I feel like I am --"
  2809. >Luna cuts you off.
2810. >"Anonymous, we are your family now. Though we may not be the ones in the crowd taking pictures, we will still be there sharing just how proud we are of you with everyone."
  2811. >You hadn't even thought.
2812. >"And with you no longer at the school, we would be able to be more public with our relationship."
2813. >How could you have been so stupid?
  2814. >You still had them.
2815. >And while no one knew of how deep your relationships went, they would still be with you.
  2816. >On the stage.
2817. "I hadn't even thought... I'm sorry if I worried you both... or if I upset you."
2818. >They both hold you tighter.
2819. >"You are always forgiven Anonymous."
  2820. >Celestia breaths a deep sigh.
2821. >A warm feeling filled you.
  2822. >It was a memory.
2823. >A memory of the last day you had seen your dad.
2824. >You sat on the roof together.
2825. >Your father and little you.
2826. >Your father was pointing out the constellations.
2827. >"You know Anon... someday I may have to go away... but if you are ever scared or lonely, just look up to the night sky and know I will be seeing it to. No matter how far apart we are."
  2828. >"Anonymous... is something wrong?"
2829. >Celestia's voice was laced with worry.
2830. >You shake your head no.
2831. "Just remembering something my dad taught me. Do either of you girls know anything about the constellations in the sky?"
  2832. >Celestia answers.
  2833. >"Very little."
  2834. >"Same."
2835. "Well you see that little group over there..."
  2836.
  2837. *****
  2838.
2839. >You had told them everything you could remember.
2840. >With mild surprise, Luna was the one that fell asleep first.
2841. >Celestia suggested you call it a night.
2842. >You carried Luna back to her bed, then went to your shared one with Celestia
2843. >Celestia nestled into her favourite place, just above your heart.
2844. >Tomorrow, you would accept your papers with head held high, knowing that the one you loved would be there.
2845. >Fatigue finally washed over you, you looked down at your sleeping lover and smiled because now you knew...
  2846. >You were never alone.
  2847.
