Yeah but those kind of stories are hard to find. For every good story that actually seems like the characters are acting close to how they should be, you have 2000 'imposter' stories.

But since we are sliding our way to recommendations, I do recall some stories that do maintain a good degree of characterization while pursuing a pairing (which is 99% of fan fictions anyway)

I Thought I Knew You: Angel and Alastor. I think this is the best story about those two characters being in a relationship, well written, interesting story, the absolute best interpretation of Human Angel's life I've read (chapter 7 and 8 for reference) and the fact its not really a 'they love each other' but more of a 'they gain a greater appreciation for the other) somewhat.

A Wide Collar & Short Leash: Angel and Sir Pentious. The literal be all and end all of crackships. It is quite literally the only scenario I could see these two characters engaging in a relationship and it involves them literally being tied together. Helps that its a damn well written story.

This is pretty much dead on the money regarding Blitzo. The amount of mixed messaging I'm getting about him and Stolas has pretty much made me give up trying to figure out whats going on.

I thought it was pretty clear with the gold that blitzo sees him as his salvation from his self destructive cycles.
Then again, I don't know how much thought viv put into color symbolism so who fking knows.

But in the last episode it looked like he was legitimately considering what Striker said about him and his relationship to Stolas AS WELL as being quite literally on Stolas's leash when he was hallucinating

I disagree in regards to Blitzo and Stolas. There is room for interpretation but it seems clear that Stolas considers Blitzo to be something more than just a fling, and that Blitzo is does hold Stolas in some high esteem, but is also extremely fearful of failure and struggles to maintain relationships as evidenced by Verosika.

Blitzo fears commitment. He sees the potential for happiness and comfort in a committed relationship with Stolas but also thinks of it as tying himself down.
