Journal Entry # 38 – 1

Oh thank goodness. I am finally out of that hell hole. I can’t believe how happy I am to not be stuck in that time loop. It looks like I am in one of my favorite multiverses. So it turns out I am related to both the Aozaki’s and Nanaya’s…  So I seem destined to be a person of mass destruction if anything about my bloodline is to be believed.

Anyways Shiki is Shiki (She tolerates me), Touko treats me alright despite my looking a bit too much like her sister for her liking. She has asked me to cut my hair shorter… which I have reluctantly done. I am not saying I cried but it seemed a sacrifice worth making. I have seen an Angry Touko and I would rather not see that again (I have seen an angry Aoko too and well I keep an emergency plane ticket on standby so I can flee the country should I ever find out they are about to meet. There is a reason Aozakis don’t have family reunions. Mikiya actually is a cool guy who I like. We get along very well; His sister at first was a little hostile towards me until she found out I wasn’t interested in him in that way.

Journal Entry #  38 - 3

Well So Mikiya’s been gone for a while and Shiki has been busy with Enju (Oh crap it’s that time already…) so things had been pretty quiet for me. It was like the quiet before the storm… well that storm came a little earlier than I expected honestly. I was walking home and a Trashcan full of ball barrings exploded.

I won’t lie it really hurt. I mean I wasn’t seriously injured because of my Kryptonian toughness but… oww… apparently I have some bomber asshole after me. It seems like things are about to get busier than I thought. Damn it, if it is who I think it is I can’t really use any of my companions to take him down.

Journal Entry # 38 - 6

Son of a bitch that hurt… So… I died today. Sort of…. I don’t know how he managed to make a bomb that big but He lured me out and detonated it dropping most of a building on me… which killed me good and dead. Then I assassinated that timeline (thank you Enter the Gungeon) through jumper shenanigans temporarily blinding him while the double I had made and my companions subdued him in the new time line. Tamamo managed to mess up the magic circuits in his eye so he shouldn’t be able to do it again. I don’t like the idea that I am working without a tight rope but oh well it was the only way I could catch him.

Journal Entry # 38 - 7

No rest for the wicked as the saying goes Bomberman is now out of commission and I just got done with a confrontation with Cornelius Alba. Being a relative and sort of apprentice to Touko he is apparently hot on the idea of killing me.

The bastard is powerful I’ll give him that but as things began to heat up figuratively and literally and then Tamamo appeared and started wrecking him so he fled whining all the way about me hiding behind her. Some people make me strongly regret my no killing unless absolutely necessary policy. Honestly it was him that was probably saved. He has a bad habit of leaving himself too open when he attacks and as strong as he is, he isn’t fast even for a normal magus.

Journal Entry # 38 - 10

Well I knew it was coming somehow Araya finally came after me. I noticed a street had become eerily quiet and boom there he was. I knew things were bad then but then he pulled out Yubel’s Jacket.
He told me to come to his apartment complex to get her back and to come alone. Right now I am so pissed I can barely see strait. I have at least maintained enough focus to inform my other companions, Tamamo, Akitsu and Arcuied all demanded to come with me but I refused. This bastard isn’t playing around and wouldn’t hesitate to harm Yu. Adam told me I wasn’t thinking clearly and I was putting her in more risk. He is right. I decided to not be an idiot. I would act as the main diversion, and let them get Yubel out in case things go wrong which they probably will. I am planning to go in there loaded for bear. I know this is a death trap and

Journal Entry # 38 -11

Oh thank god we got her back. Things turned in to a huge clusterfuck. My companions brought Shiki and Touko along. I Tore Alba apart even before he could gloat. I left him alive (barely) in a pool of his own blood. Then Araya popped up I demanded Yu, he tossed her to me telling me she was of no use to him, I was the one he wanted. I made sure Yu could walk on her own and told her get out. She of course told me no. A quick chop to the back of the neck ended that argument before it began, It also gave me a chance to check if it was her, completely, it was. Thank goodness.

I conjured a creature to carry her out and then Araya and I had it out. Most of my powers lie in boosting myself, with his powers it made it a nightmare to get close to him. Also he had something that prevented me from drawing stuff out of extradimensional spaces so I couldn’t get to my anti-magic sniper rifle that would have been so handy. Anyways I fought hard and kept him busy with my companions discovered the heart of the complex.

I wound up fighting the entire building as he bent space, used zombies and such, apparently my companions were going through similar problems but working together we destroyed the building and him with it. I used my priestly magic to lay his soul to rest to be sure he wouldn’t come back. That’s why you don’t mess with someone’s family.


Journal Entry # 38 -76

Well Mikiya came to me and Touko today for help with Lio.. Touko having sense told him it would be impossible. He looked so desperate when he turned to me I agreed sort of. I explained that if I got involved that either I he agreed to help  but warned him either Lio agrees to let us try and help him or I kill him. He was desperate (because of Shiki) so he agreed.

Well we found Lio… we offered to help. Things went to hell. Not only did he have no intentions of being helped he wanted to make Mikiya like him, after her got turned down he lost it and… I had to kill him to protect Mikiya. Of course Shiki was there so the lovebirds were reunited. At first I was worried that because things didn’t play out like they did originally there was a chance that things might not work out but something tells me it will be ok. I may have embellished things a bit and said Mikiya had come to save her (in a way he had).
