  1. During that same spring, summer, and fall, a tense diplomatic situation unfolded beneath the waves of the ocean off the coast of Outer Hayven. The kingdom of Aquestria was on the verge of war with another, even more reclusive underwater kingdom named Seaquestria. A mysterious and powerful mermare going by the name of Lady Maelstorm stole various powerful and cherished Aquestrian artifacts. Aquestria, consisting of mostly seaponies, blamed Seaquestria and took punitive action against the mermares living within the Aquestrian Reef. As the two kindgoms geared up for war, a group of Hayvenites became intertwined in the struggle after befriending one of Aquestria’s seaponies and becoming ingratiated with the Aquestrians. With some careful diplomatic maneuvering, the Hayvenites gained (some) trust from the Seaquestrians as well, along with recovering the artifacts that Aquestria was missing. During the series of events, the Hayvenites also ended up on the coast of Abyssinia right as the dreaded Storm King’s airship fleet was inbound for an invasion. Against all odds, the transients managed to turn back the tide of Storm King’s destructive invasion, and helped the Abyssinians lay the groundwork of resistance against the Storm King’s future occupation. The transient intervention did not prevent Abyssinia from ultimately being occupied, but it did prevent Storm King’s initial, very destructive and costly invasion from surprise-attacking the Abyssinians. Storm King’s soldiers occupied the capital of Abysinnia and other areas of the country, but a robust underground resistance movement was already plotting to liberate the country with the help of the transients. Meanwhile, the Hayvenites’ efforts to settle things between Aquestria and Seaquestria came to fruition. War was averted, and diplomatic ties between Aquestria and Equestria were firmly established, as well as between Seaquestria and Equestria. Lady Maelstorm was discovered to have been under the manipulation of a dark entity known as Strife, who was also behind Storm King’s campaign across the world. Lady Maelstorm, who’s name was actually Mist Bow, was redeemed and freed from Strife’s puppet strings.

  3. Later, on Day 174, a team of Hayvenites along with Crystal Company returned to Panthera, the capital of Abyssinia, to help the Abyssinians finish the job and liberate the country from Storm King’s oppression. The Hayvenites involved were Tea Time, Riversong, and Stray Shot. Here is the summary from Dandelion who GM’d it: “Following the fall of Abyssinia to the Storm King ( See Days 108 and 122 ), the capital of the land of the felinekin, Panthera, had been occupied though with the ponies' warning from last time managed to get an underground resistance movement going. @Riversong @Stray Shot @Tea Time are on the same page to aid the cats, and with a bit of fundraising around town are ready to deliver food and other supplies. The ponies set off but find more than what they bargained for with the capital surrounded in a magical storm barrier, but River is able to discover one of the resistance's tunnels. After meeting with the de-facto leader, Clune, they discover they had set off on a portentous day of the cats --- Friday the 13th! Clune interprets this as an omen to have the resistance openly fight back, planning with the ponies for what to do next, and after River and Tea discover a glaring flaw in the blueprints of the Storm King's airship he prepares the salvaged airships that the sirens Starry and Daybreak had managed to wreck months ago. Meanwhile, the ponies decide to help in the gambit to free and rescue the cats who were forced into servitude at the Storm Factory. The fight is vicious but the Pantheran cats aided by the ponies push their advantage to liberate the capital. But... How did the Storm King get access to the technology of the Forgotten Ones and turn it to his own ends? And just what is the power of the shards of the shattered Misfortune Malachite?”
