- Vale been working in his lab for a while. His friend, Barthalamule had been helping him teach his passengers, and train them so they would be better able to survive later on in life. It was a kindness, that most Humans wouldn't give to another. Thusly he had brought 3 Humans on board, his friend bringing another.
- They would be taking refugee in his Training Facility. It was a metal coated area, with an intense gravitational field, limited behind a reinforced glass wall. There were five regenerators, and punching bags on the other side, so the chidlren would have plenty to do, as they trained. And would be able to tend to each other's wounds, if things got out of hand.
- Though death was still an object, and Vale hadn't the capabilities to read the children's actual ability yes. He could get a basic understanding of how strong they were, and what they could take. But without a Scouter - Something Jenovah had showed him, or Marvus, whatever she called herself - doing such things would be impossible.
- He had tinkered with the small visor-like device before, and could understand how it worked well enough. It used a biometric algorithm, linked to a retinal scanner. The Retinal Scanner 's field of scanning would be heightened to increased amounts, allowing one to scan a large radius, and scan higher levels of power, depending on how much one would tweak the Algorithm. It was interchangeable, and could be altered as many times as one would like.
- Having messed with this Algorithm before - Or at least a slightly more advanced version. Vale was capable of recreating it. But to make the Retinal Scanner function in such a way. Now that would prove to be difficult.
- His laboratory was rather secluded, quiet even. So he wouldn't have access to anyone in the vinicty to test the device on if it were to work. The floor was tiled, in an old kitchen-esque tile, that looked as if it had been there for a while. A long brown table was positioned in the top right area of the room. For when, or IF he brought the students in for research, and teaching. A small green area, where he tested, and gew plants was positioned in the bottom middle area of the lab. IT had Green, Blue, and White Mushrooms positioned around an arrangement of Pink Tulips. It was a Zen Garden, for Vale in a sense. A place he could relax. His drill was shut off, in the opposite corner of the room. "Peaceful,~" He mused, laying his head on the desk.
- His eyes closed, as he had to seriously think about this. He had two doors which would scan you, and require you to enter a password. That was the first thing that came to mind. "Of course!" He shot up, and ran over to his door. It was a metal sliding door, that clasped in the middle with nano-molecular locks, which would seal the room off, and make it sound proof. Disengaging the locks required Vale's Hand print, and the Password.
- What if he were to set a password, in an algorithm! Or a script, perhaps. One that would detect life forms in a vicinity, or on a certain planet. He would have to enter multiple scripts, multiple algorithms for it to work, and for it to adjust to each planet, and area. Even his own ship would require It's own personal touch.
- He ran to his desk, and began working. He wasn't really good with coding, or scripts, but after a few hours, he had made some out. One for Namek, Earth, the Ship, Vegeta, and Atlantis. He would make more later, naturally. He made two Algorithms, having wrote them down to code into the Retinal Scanner later. One would detect the current location the Scanner was in, and swap the script out for such a place. The other would force the Retinal Scanner to detect a farther reach, a planetary reach! "Perfect!" It took him a few more hours to polish the codes, and algorithms, but after he was done, he knew the Scanner would be a success!
- Making his way to one of the many boxes in his room, he would pry it open, and pull out a glass sheet, taking a Blow Torch to it, cutting out a small octagonal shape, stretched out to the diameters of a Rectangle all the same. "good.." He layed it onto his desk, and placed the now damaged Glass Sheet back into the box, shutting it. He would sit down, and pull out a small set of tools, tools for very delicate work, and begin pulling off the first couple layers of the glasses surface. He would then place miniscule wiring throughout the glass, invisible to the naked eye - Vale couldn't even see the wiring, he had to remember where it was placed.
- After having wired it up, he would code the Algorithm, and script onto a small chip, a nanochip, and place it into the glass pane. He would reapply the first couple layers, sealing it in place. Pulling the glass piece to his eye, he could still see through it, perfectly. "Good.."
- He opened another box, pulling out a small sheet of Alluminum. It would be light weight. He began to mold it, into an ear piece, that would cuff around one's ear. It would be interchangable, as he made it so the soon to be attached visor, would be capable of flipping, on a whim. "Good.." He would grab a Medical Scanner, and rip it apart, pulling out the Bio-Metric Scanner. He tossed the rest of the Medical Scanner into a scrap pile. He noticed how a lot of his devices required the Medical Scanner. Odd.
- Reprogramming the Biometric Scanner, he would set it to detect one's own inner power. To be able to detect how strong one person is, compared to another. More accurate readings would be sufficient, but not completely required. He placed the cuff down, and began to color the visor, so the wiring would be a bit more visible. The wiring was laid out to seperate certain information, and glow when a button on the visor is clicked. After painting it green, he would slide the glass panel into place, and connect the wiring. A simple job, after everything else he had created.
- After doing some durability testing on his new device, he laid it on the desk, nodding as he stood up, fist pumping. "This should do it!"
