Land of Rage

The sky is a deep, angry red, with black clouds roiling above, though no rain falls.

The world is an arena with an earthen fighting area in the middle. The battleground is an oval of about 100 meters long and 75 meters wide, the ground packed hard. Surrounding the fighting area is a wall twenty feet high, made of bleached bones. The wall is topped with skulls that have eyes turned in to the fighting area. Behind the skulls are stone steps a few feet tall for sitting on, wrapping around three-quarters of the arena. The remaining quarter, in the middle of the long side of the arena, is a raised platform. On top of it are five thrones made of bleached bone. Atop the backrest, above where the seated one would sit, is a skull with a symbol carved into its forehead. The leftmost skull carries a club, the next over a diamond. The middlemost carries a spade, varying from the pattern seen in the other worlds. The fourth skull has a heart and the final has a club identical to the first.
