  1. The young woman lay bloodied in her iron coffin. She lost all feelings below her waist, and her vision was beginning to fade. Her belt squeezed into her shattered mid-section, forcing a bloodied cough from her lips. She wanted to speak, to say something, to scream, but it hurt too much. Her heart sunk as she squinted at the dull sky.
  2.
  3. Oh God.
  4. It hurts.
  5. ....
  6. Please...
  7.
  8. All she could muster were tears. The edge of her vision grew darker and darker. She managed a whimpered cry.
  9.
  10. Please....
  11. I don't want to...

  26. A body of water stretched infinitely in every direction. The ground reflected the blank, white sky perfectly. In the middle of the expanse stood a stone mausoleum.
  27. Ancient doors shook with a slowly before splitting apart. A figure stepped forward into the lake. It wore a long white cloak, concealing it's entirety while a circular stone mask covered where the face may be. The water rippled as the figured stepped forward. Hands began to emerge from the water around the being. They were nearly transparent, casting no reflection on the water below. The masked being continued walking, and more and more hands began to sprawl out from the lake, their fingers spread wide and bent as if they were grasping for something. This went on, and eventually the being had grown a small meadow of hands around him. It looked down, darting it's apparent gaze left and right, searching for something. It continued to pace, straying farther and farther from the Mausoleum.
  28. Time had passed, minutes perhaps, or maybe even close to an hour. The farthest hands began to fade away and the cloaked figure's search became more frantic as he paced on and back, looking intently at the cluster. One hand began to glow softly, a faint blue aura surging upwards from it's wrist. The sound of hampered breath, that of a female, began to fill the void, and the being snapped its head back, turning to the glowing hand. It hurried forward, bending to one knee and extending an arm towards the hand, revealing it's own. Pale, near white and lacking fingernails. It did not hesitate, and suddenly gripped the wrist, pulling upwards. The arm began to materialize as it emerged, transparency became skin and before long, a naked body was pulled from the water. It was a woman. Her skin white and a little pale. Her hair was long and ivory. She did not breath, but her head stirred, and two eyes opened hazily. She squinted up at the masked being. Her eyes widened without so much as a word and she struggled to sit up. She looked back to the being, then back to herself, gasping as she flung her arms forward to cover her indecencies. She scrambled to her feet in new found panic, taking several steps back.
  29. “Where.. Where am I?! Who are you? I...?”
  30. The being stepped forward suddenly. “Human.” he said abruptly, cutting her off.
  31. “I do not wish to tarry long in this place. You have died in your world. I have summoned you as a soul in mine. I can grant you life once more, but for me to help you, you must help me first.”
