- TALKATIVE; Maehwa is one social butterfly. Being talkative isn't such a bad thing to her, it makes her gain more friends and be much more sociable.
- LAID-BACK; This doesn't mean she lazy nor always relaxed, it's just that she really doesn't get the idea when people over-react over small things, so why not just stay calm and try to understand the situation at hand?
- ENERGETIC; She's always so full of energy. Literally, almost the only time she gets tired is when there's no one to talk to.
- DETERMINED; She'll do something whenever she puts her mind to it. She always attempts to leave a first good impression whenever she performs, and it'll happen if she focuses a lot.
- SARCASTIC; Maehwa is blunt and shameless in a playful and sarcastic way. She would always manage to think of sassy remarks quickly, and it amazes some people.

`ʙᴀᴄᴋɢʀᴏᴜɴᴅ: Maehwa was born in Seoul, South Korea. She continued to live there until she was 6 and had moved to Chicago, USA. Maehwa grew up as a child who was especially interested in music and sports, specifically dancing. Performing became a must to her when she saw her mother sing to her whenever Maehwa would have her own music lessons with her mother. Then they moved back to South Korea, and when she got back, she was informed by her family that JYP audition applications were open and that Maehwa should give it a shot. They convinced her, and then she got accepted into JYP and has met wonderful friends during her short time there. She isn't a trainee in JYP anymore, but now she's a YG trainee. Now she has heard of a survival show where she'll get a chance to debut. Yet again, her family, and especially her close friends at JYP uncluding YG, convinced her to apply. And now she is where she is.
