  1. Mike has connected.
  2. Mike Desktop has connected.
  3. Mike:
  4. It's a Thrice!
  5. Mike:
  6. Twice as nice as ice!
  7. Thrice:
  8. And for only half the price
  9. Mike:
  10. Now without lice!
  11. Mike:
  12. Comes with twelve mice.
  13. Lilea_Grove has connected.
  14. Mike:
  15. It's a Rob!
  16. Mike:
  17. He's not a slob.
  18. Lilea_Grove:
  19. Hello~
  20. Thrice:
  21. All right, guess we should decide which Pokemon to use, then
  22. Mike:
  23. Yep! You each can carry two.
  24. Mike:
  25. Feel free to drop your tokens and set them up, in the Temple 02 map.
  26. Lilea_Grove:
  27. I want Mana, because she need EXP badly. My other two options are the beefy Olivia or the status-y April.
  28. Mike:
  29. There's a lit area you can put them in safely.
  30. Thrice:
  31. Mana's a Servine, right? Olivia I know, the Arbok. April I wanna say...Venonat?
  32. Thrice:
  33. Been a while
  34. Lilea_Grove:
  35. Yes. But Venomoth now.
  36. Thrice:
  37. I'll use Junius for one of mine, since he also needs some experience... For others, Hari's my strongest, but she's another Grass-type AND another Fire-type
  38. Lilea_Grove:
  39. Going with Olivia. As fun as status will be, Lilea needs a shield.
  40. Thrice:
  41. All right, those should work.
  42. Mike:
  43. Okay. Do me a favor and scoot your tokens around a little, I want to test two things: The "can't move more than X every Y" macro, and the ability for you to reveal the map as you go.
  44.
  45. Junius must wait 20.296 seconds before moving again!
  46.
  47. Junius must wait 17.609 seconds before moving again!
  48. Mike:
  49. Perfect.
  50. Thrice:
  51. All right, seems to work.
  52.
  53.
  54. Mike:
  55. Downside is that I get extra blank space in my chat window. But yeah.
  56. Mike:
  57. Oh! One more thing that got brought up last time, regarding buffs and 'scenes'.
  58. Mike:
  59. A Scene ends whenever you conclude a battle. Further, outside of combat, you can only hold on to one temporary buff at a time - to discourage you from just buffing to maximum power and plowing through walls.
  60. Thrice:
  61. Sounds fair to me. That mean using Odor Sleuth or something outside battle would allow it to carry on into the battle?
  62. Mike:
  63. Correct.
  64. Mike:
  65. But Odor Sleuth would be your 'one buff', I believe? Let me read it real quick.
  66. Thrice:
  67. Oh, don't bother - that was just a sample
  68. Thrice:
  69. Junius doesn't know it anymore. All I've got are combat stage increases now
  70. Mike:
  71. Ah. Yeah, those are the big ones I wanted to head off at the pass.
  72. Mike:
  73. No fair using Hone Claws for five minutes and then just cutting the temple in two.
  74. Mike:
  75. Lemme do a quick review of my notes for this iteration... And also put on some background music.
  76. Thrice:
  77. Ahh, Hone Claws. Gonna be fun when that Sneasel that I should probably name gets it
  78. Lilea_Grove:
  79. Usual Commands: Commander's Voice + Brutal Training + Inspired Training. I will say "Gives usual commands' when Lilea uses those and nothing else. Otherwise she has at least one fairly potent ability that must be during Orders to invoke.
  80. Mike:
  81. Back, with water, and I gave my notes a once-over.
  82. Thrice:
  83. Asher will, for the most part, be using Brutal Training or Press. He does have Commander's Voice and Reckless Advance, though. And of course all those Juggler features, but those are mostly Free Actions
  84. Mike:
  85. You guys ready? Any more questions, any more prep you need to do?
  86. Mike:
  87. (( Juggler Free Actions are fun as all get-out. Also, we should come up with some naming theme for our new awesome Sneaselses~. ))
  88. Lilea_Grove:
  89. (( Blues Musicians ))
  90. Thrice: (( We should! I was debating Judas for mine, given the father's name, but I'm up for anything cool, really ))
  91. Mike: (( I can work with that. But, that's a discussion for later. ))
  92. Mike:
  93. Okay! *clears throat*
  94.
  95. Rutherford:
  96. * You've been brought to the jungle, deep in South America somewhere, by an elderly Kadabra. He wears a stereotypical wizard's hat, and carries a stick instead of a spoon.
  97.
  98. Rutherford:
  99. * Specifically, he's brought you to the exterior entrance of a large, stone temple. Its edifice is imposing, but the entrance seems a little more mundane, and worn down.
  100.
  101. Rutherford:
  102. "Welcome to South America, friends." He speaks with a thick Latin-American brogue. "I trust you are ready for this mission."
  103.
  104. Lilea Grove:
  105. "Ready as ever!"
  106.
  107. Asher:
  108. "I'm ready for anything! Even regretting saying that..."
  109.
  110. Rutherford:
  111. "Ahaha, you invite adventure. This is good!"
  112.
  113. Rutherford:
  114. "Then I will give you your, ahem, return buttons." He produces a small paper cup, full of little pills.
  115.
  116. Rutherford:
  117. * Looking at the pills, you can see that each is actually an itty-bitty capsule full of some pink, glowing liquid, about the size of an aspirin.
  118.
  119. Asher:
  120. "Wasn't it the blue pill that sent them home?"
  121.
  122. Rutherford:
  123. "...You are correct. I had forgotten all about that movie."
  124.
  125. Rutherford:
  126. "I will inform our R&D department to change their colors immediately."
  127.
  128. Rutherford:
  129. "They contain a radiopsychic liquid. Much like a doctor will use isotropic elements to see a patient's internal systems more easily, these allow me to see you more easily."
  130.
  131. Rutherford:
  132. "They are how I will know you are you, and how I can teleport you out safely at a distance."
  133.
  134. Rutherford:
  135. "It is a very expensive liquid."
  136.
  137. Asher:
  138. "And a very handy one, it seems! So with this, we have nothing to fear?"
  139.
  140. Rutherford:
  141. "Well. Death, dismemberment, poor food."
  142.
  143. Rutherford:
  144. "If need be, I can pull you out earlier than that. I will be unable to return you, however - it is an emergency, one-way exit, nothing more."
  145.
  146. Rutherford:
  147. "It only lasts so long in the body: two hours, to be precise. I could give you more, and it would last longer, but then you would see dancing pink Phanpy behind every tree. Most unpleasant."
  148.
  149. Rutherford:
  150. "Anyhow. If you need to leave before those two hours expire, simply think very hard to me, and I will hear your plea for escape."
  151.
  152. Lilea Grove:
  153. "Each of our pokemon take one as well, correct?"
  154.
  155. Rutherford:
  156. "That would be a good idea. In case of an emergency, they may be out of their Pokeballs - or you may be out of consciousness."
  157.
  158. Lilea Grove:
  159. "My thoughts exactly."
  160.
  161. Rutherford:
  162. "There will be no serious side effects. I have taken it before myself. The worst is a poor aftertaste - ah, do not drink Pomeg juice immediately after."
  163.
  164. Asher:
  165. "Well, you hear that, Junius? If they take me out, just think real hard. I'm betting my life that you can manage that... Erm, not that I plan to drink any Pomeg juice, but, were I to, what would happen?"
  166.
  167. Rutherford:
  168. "It would taste horrendous. When I did it, it lost all its Sweet notes." he waves his free hand in a nonchalant way. "Leaving only bitter, spicy flavor. As if a chili pepper had a bad idea."
  169. Rutherford: (( http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pomeg ^_^ ))
  170. Rutherford: (( Er. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pomeg ))
  171.
  172. Asher:
  173. "Spicy and bitter? Doesn't sound so bad to me... Hm..."
  174.
  175. Rutherford:
  176. "Anything else, friends? As much as I enjoy your company, you have a task ahead of you."
  177.
  178. Lilea Grove:
  179. "I'm ready to go!"
  180.
  181. Rutherford:
  182. "...I have nothing more to give you. Good luck, Kanto trainers. Succeed where we cannot." He disappears.
  183. Mike:
  184. TIMER START.
  185.
  186. Asher:
  187. "B-but I'm from Johto.." Well, here we go then.
  188.
  189. Lilea Grove:
  190. Lilea applies the medicine and begins moving forth!
  191.
  192. Asher:
  193. Asher follows along!
  194.
  195. Lilea Grove:
  196. "Really!? I speak Johto!" Lilea replied, speaking fluent Johto.
  197. Mike:
  198. * As you enter the temple, the air feels cooler, shielded from the brunt of the sun. The stone floors appear rickety and uneven.
  199. Junius must wait 4.5 seconds before moving again!
  200.
  201. Mike:
  202. Whoop, one moment.
  203.
  204. Asher:
  205. "Oh? Interesting! How'd you pick that up?"
  206. Mike:
  207. Because Mana walked over it first.
  208.
  209. Lilea Grove:
  210. "I lived there for a few yea- Mana!"
  211. Asher: (( Well I hope you have Perception, because I sure don't. ))
  212. Mike:
  213. * As Mana walks over the old stone floor, a section gives way! She will plummet 4m to the bottom of the pit.
  214. Mike:
  215. 19 physical damage, and 2 injuries from the fall - unless you can roll Acrobatics to mitigate it.
  216.
  217. Mana:
  218. Acro! 15
  219. Mike:
  220. For an unintentional fall, that is not high enough to beat the DC.
  221. Mike:
  222. The injury lowered the Special Attack stat!
  223. Mike:
  224. The injury lowered the Special Defense stat!
  225.
  226. Asher:
  227. "Well, they weren't kidding about the death and dismemberment part..."
  228. Mike:
  229. DEF does apply to that 19 damage, FYI.
  230.
  231. Mana:
  232. Mana grumbles and tries to cimb back out. 11
  233. Mike:
  234. Is that Athletics, I presume?
  235.
  236. Mana:
  237. ((Yes))
  238. Eclipse has connected.
  239. Mike:
  240. * The walls are rough, and provide many handholds. A few move slightly under the Servine's touch, but she can still climb her way out of the pit.
  241.
  242. Mana:
  243. Mana grumbles again and Coils!
  244.
  245. Asher:
  246. "She gonna be okay? We should watch ourselves from now on."
  247. Mike:
  248. * Little puffs of dust rise from the pit, carried on warm, muggy air.
  249.
  250. Mana:
  251. Mana looks out ahead. Perception 3
  252. Mike:
  253. You're pretty sure you're in a stone hallway of some kind.
  254. Mike:
  255. You do see an old clay pot ahead of you, at the corner of the hallway.
  256.
  257. Asher:
  258. "Junius, you go on ahead. You've got better eyes and ears than I do, at least..."
  259.
  260. Lilea Grove:
  261. "Sounds like a good plan..." Says a nervious Lilea, now defaulting to speaking Johto.
  262.
  263. Junius:
  264. 11 Junius peeks around the hallway, determined to sniff out anything that might be hiding around.
  265.
  266. Junius:
  267. Perception, btw
  268. Mike:
  269. Okay.
  270. Mike:
  271. Junius, you do see cracks in the hallway floor ahead of you...
  272. Mike:
  273. The floor there doesn't look terribly stable.
  274.
  275. Junius:
  276. Junius barks, and points this out to Asher.
  277. Mike: (( *watches, grinning, like any GM who just unveiled a trap* ))
  278.
  279. Asher:
  280. "Looks like there are more of those holes in the floor ahead. We'll have to jump it. Think you can handle it?"
  281.
  282. Asher:
  283. "Because I know I sure can!" now, rules question - I can move and jump in the same turn, as long as that doesn't exceed my total movement, right?
  284. Mike:
  285. I believe that's correct. if it isn't, it's certainly reasonable enough under a time limit.
  286. Mike:
  287. As a reminder, you can also use Acrobatics to try and jump a little further.
  288.
  289. Asher:
  290. Well, Asher's total movement is 8, and his long jump is 3, so he should be good here! He takes off, and vaults over the cracked areas, hoping there aren't any more on the other side...
  291. Mike:
  292. Sounds legit! With that... You can juuuust make it to the other side of the cracks.
  293. Mike:
  294. * As you land on the other side, your heel knocks a stone loose. That section of the floor gives way!
  295.
  296. Asher:
  297. "Phoo...Junius, you can make it, too, right?"
  298.
  299. Mana:
  300. Mana likewise jumps over. Jump of 2, +1 for running start.
  301.
  302. Lilea Grove:
  303. Lilea looks nerviously at the jump.
  304.
  305. Asher:
  306. "Uh, need some help...?"
  307.
  308. Lilea Grove:
  309. Lilea attempts to break the floor by kicking down.
  310.
  311. Asher:
  312. Well, first Asher's gonna have to move outta the way.
  313. Mike:
  314. * The floor is weak and brittle I won't even make you roll a Combat check for it.
  315.
  316. Lilea Grove:
  317. Lilea looks to see how far down it goes.
  318. Mike:
  319. * As you kick the loose stones down, the whole floor of the hallway collapses.
  320. Mike:
  321. * Below, you can see a rough, rocky pit - maybe four meters deep.
  322.
  323. Lilea Grove:
  324. Lilea attempts to climb down. 6
  325. Mike:
  326. Hrm. Down is certainly easier than up.
  327.
  328. Junius:
  329. Junius takes off, using his LJ of 2 and Overland of 7 to clear the gap.
  330. Mike:
  331. You make it down safely most of the way. Getting up might be a little harder, however.
  332.
  333. Lilea Grove:
  334. ((That'll be trouble, that was a max roll))
  335.
  336. Asher:
  337. "Are you sure you don't need any help?"
  338.
  339. Mike: (( I can move you out of turn. Just, you can't. ^_^ ))
  340.
  341. Lilea Grove:
  342. "I'm pretty stuck..." Athletics 2
  343. Mike:
  344. * You can get a handhold... But just the one.
  345. Mike:
  346. * You can't actually make any progress up the rough stone walls.
  347.
  348. Olivia:
  349. Olivia appears on the field!
  350.
  351. Lilea Grove:
  352. "Can you lift me out Olivia?"
  353.
  354. Asher:
  355. "Right, hold on. I'll be down there in a secon--or, do you have this covered after all?"
  356. Mike: (( For the record, you may use the Grasslands map as an impromptu Poke-box, if desired. ))
  357.
  358. Olivia:
  359. Olivia tries to lift out Lilea. Over four meters long. Only power of 3 however.
  360. Mike:
  361. Pausing timer and looking up Power then. One moment.
  362. Mike:
  363. Hrm. It looks like, at Power 3, her Staggering weight is 100, and Drag is 200. I presume Lilea falls between those numbers?
  364. Asher: (( Right - Asher's stronger than he looks, with Athletics at Expert, if Olivia can't handle it ))
  365.
  366. Olivia:
  367. ((Yep))
  368. Mike:
  369. So, Olivia can pull Lilea out of the pit... Slowly. At a 4m deep pit, assuming she can reach that far - I don't actually know how long Olivia is! - it'll take her two minutes to pull her out. You could try to speed that up with an Athletics check, I believe.
  370. Mike:
  371. Restarting timer.
  372.
  373. Olivia:
  374. ((12'3" I think. New sheet doesn't have space for that))
  375.
  376. Lilea Grove:
  377. Lilea thanked and returned Olivia!
  378. Mike:
  379. It is now 1:39:30, so she can move again at 1:37:30.
  380. Mike:
  381. Time: The everpresent threat!
  382.
  383. Asher:
  384. "Would you rather I stay here, or scout ahead?"
  385.
  386. Lilea Grove:
  387. "A pot and a switch, seems obvious what to do here."
  388.
  389. Asher:
  390. "Maybe, but I don't see a need for it just yet... Best not to tinker with it unless we must!"
  391. Mike:
  392. Okay! Lilea, you are out of the pit now.
  393.
  394. Junius:
  395. Asher sends Junius forward to look into the area.
  396.
  397. Lilea Grove:
  398. "We don't have time to figure stuff out. Blind charge!" Lilea says, expecting someone not with her flimsy girl arms to move the pot.
  399. Mike:
  400. Junius: To the north, you see another room. You can just barely see a cage up there, as well as two Pokemon, fast asleep.
  401. Mike:
  402. In this room, you can see a wooden scaffolding, with a barrel perched atop it.
  403. Mike:
  404. And in the next room, you can make out the barest glint of metal, peeking from behind the corner.
  405.
  406. Junius:
  407. Junius turns around and growls at Asher, signalling for him to come along.
  408.
  409.
  410. Pansear 6:
  411. * The Pansear leaning against the cage, nearest to you, has bandages wrapped around his rough hands.
  412.
  413. Asher:
  414. "HOld on, Junius. Lilea, I...suppose we can move the pot, if you insist? Do we have to, though?"
  415.
  416. Mana:
  417. Mana tries to lift the pot (Power 3).
  418.
  419. Lilea Grove:
  420. Lilea looked adamant!
  421. Mike:
  422. * The pot is light enoug that you can lift it with ease. When you do, though, something jangles inside.
  423.
  424. Mana:
  425. Mana looks into it!"
  426.
  427. Asher:
  428. "That sounds....unsafe. But if you're sure about this..."
  429. Mike:
  430. Please give me a d20. Just a straight-out luck roll.
  431. Mike:
  432. High is good.
  433.
  434. Lilea Grove:
  435. "Of course it's not safe!"
  436.
  437. Lilea Grove:
  438. 15
  439.
  440. Coin (Silver) 1:
  441. * Inside the pot is a single silver coin. It gleams, its edges gently curving around smoothly.
  442.
  443. Coin (Silver) 1:
  444. *puts into treasure chest at entrance*
  445.
  446. Mana:
  447. Mana places the pot onto the odd, half-lit tile!
  448. Mike:
  449. Heh. One moment.
  450.
  451. Asher:
  452. Asher feels he should have moved out of the damned way long ago.
  453. Mike: (( Are you having trouble moving, really? ))
  454. Asher: (( Oh, no ))
  455. Mike:
  456. * As you place the pot on the switch, a number of holes open up in the hallway ahead of you... And then everything remains still.
  457. Asher: (( Just saying he probably should have before the potstravaganza ))
  458. Mike: (( Okay. Let me know if you have issues with movement, since things are a bit weird today. ))
  459. Asher: (( Will do ))
  460. Mike:
  461. * Mana: Now you, too, see what Junius sees. A few sleeping Pokemon to the north, in a new room... and something gleaming in the next room. And a barrel atop the scaffolding, above.
  462.
  463. Mana:
  464. Mana begins to sneak. 26
  465.
  466. Asher:
  467. Asher moves forward, wary of the new holes in the floor. "LEt's hope no more of these come around."
  468. Mike:
  469. Who attempts to sneak? I don't see any- ohhhh.
  470. Mike:
  471. Well. With a closer vantage point, Mana can see that the gleaming thing is a small treasure chest of some kind. A stone sarcophagus stands next to it, and a few others litter the room. A wooden door blocks the northern exit of this next room.
  472.
  473. Mana:
  474. Mana is curious and greedy. She investigates the trapped chest.
  475.
  476. Treasure Chest (small, closed):
  477. * The chest does not immediately bite you... but it *is* locked.
  478.
  479. Asher:
  480. Asher, on the other hand, ignores the northward room for now, and investigates this barrel up here, if he's tall enough to reach it.
  481.
  482. Treasure Chest (small, closed):
  483. * Surely, something shiny and cool is inside.
  484. Mike:
  485. Hm. The barrel is a little ways off the ground - it's resting about 2m up. You'd probably have to get on top of the scaffolding to look inside it.
  486. Asher: (( What about lifting it and setting it on the ground? He's got Power 6 ))
  487. Asher: (( It'd be a stretch of the arms, though, he's only 5'8... ))
  488. Mike:
  489. ...That will do it, yes. It's a little awkward, but you can lift the barrel and set it on the ground.
  490. Mike: (( Gwah. Sorry - I have to pause the timer for a moment. I'll BRB - feel free to plan your next move. ))
  491.
  492. Asher:
  493. "Heh. I always knew all that climbing would pay off some day. Now, let's hope the inconspicuous is worth it."
  494. Asher: (( All right ))
  495. Asher: (( I'll brb as well, though not for long ))
  496. Mike:
  497. Back. I'll wait for Thrice to return before restarting the timer.
  498. Asher: (( I'm back now as well ))
  499.
  500. Asher:
  501. Asher peers into the barrel, cautiously.
  502. Mike:
  503. That was fast! Well played. You good to continues as well, Rob?
  504.
  505. Lilea Grove:
  506. ((Yep))
  507. Mike:
  508. Timer restarted.
  509. Mike:
  510. Asher, give me a d20 roll please. Straight luck.
  511.
  512. Asher:
  513. 8 Well here goes nothing
  514.
  515. Mana:
  516. Mana attempts to struggle the lock off! Combat! 21
  517. Mike:
  518. Okay! Lesse...
  519.
  520. Bag of Caltrops:
  521. * Asher. Inside the barrel, you find a sack of caltrops. There aren't too many of them - a few handfulls at most - but they look like they'd be dangerous to step on all the same.
  522.
  523. Junius:
  524. Junius, on the other hand, advances toward the north room, as sneakily as he can so as not to wake up the sleepers.... 11 stealth roll
  525.
  526. Treasure Chest (small, closed):
  527. * Mana. You smack the lock open with practiced ease, and the chest creaks open. Can I get two straight luck rolls, and can I *also* get a 2d4 please?
  528.
  529. Asher:
  530. "These ought to come in handy. Just have to make sure I don't stab myself with them."
  531. Mike:
  532. Junius: One moment.
  533.
  534. Mana:
  535. 14 | 4 || 4
  536.
  537. Asher:
  538. Asher pockets the bag of crow's feet, preparing to use them later on.
  539.
  540. Fire:
  541. * As you walk across the threshold of the room, a burst of fire whooshes out of the ground at you! 3 v.SpDef to hit you.
  542.
  543. Fire:
  544. 38 Fire Special damage if it hits you.
  545.
  546. Junius:
  547. That's a hit!
  548.
  549. Junius:
  550. Junius loses 14 hit points.
  551.
  552. Fire:
  553. * The flames quickly subside.
  554.
  555. Junius:
  556. Times like this I wish I had Flash Fire.
  557. Mike:
  558. Loading treasure, one moment...
  559. Mike:
  560. .ooc I know, right? ^_^
  561.
  562. Asher:
  563. Did Asher see the flames from where he is?
  564. Mike:
  565. I think you would've noticed them, yes.
  566.
  567. Relic Band 1:
  568. * Lilea and Mana: In the chest, you find an old bit of stone jewelry. It's ornate and beautiful, if dulled with age.
  569.
  570. Asher:
  571. "Hoo...I'll have to jump over those if I plan to go that way."
  572.
  573. Pokeball:
  574. * Tucked inside it is a standard Pokeball. It looks relatively new.
  575.
  576. Lilea Grove:
  577. Lilea keeps the pokeball!
  578.
  579. Lilea Grove:
  580. >.>
  581. Mike: (( Just dragged to the chest. Use as you like! ))
  582. Mike: (( It's on your person, just out of the way on the map. ))
  583.
  584. Asher:
  585. "Lilea, do you wanna stick together, or split up here? I don't fancy Junius walking through those flames again, though."
  586. Mike:
  587. Now then. Junius, were you sneaking there? I know Mana was earlier.
  588. Asher: (( Yeah, he rolled an...11 I think ))
  589.
  590. Pansear 6:
  591. * Despite the flame gouts, the sleeping Pokemon remain asleep.
  592.
  593. Petilil 2:
  594. * The Petilil snorts a bit, its leaves vibrating.
  595.
  596. Lilea Grove:
  597. "I'd like to avoid encounters, we've not much time left."
  598. Mike:
  599. Through the bars of the cage, you can make out another Pansear and Petilil on the other side of the cage.
  600. Mike:
  601. Current time remaining: One hour, seventeen minutes, twenty-five seconds.
  602.
  603. Asher:
  604. "Heh. All right, then, Junius, retreat back to me. Try and jump over the flames, if you can."
  605. Junius: (( Would High Jump 2(counting running start) make it over them? ))
  606.
  607. Junius:
  608. He's going to try anyhow.
  609.
  610. Lilea Grove:
  611. Lilea moved on ahead, knowing Asher was quick enough to catch up.
  612. Mike:
  613. No flames lick at you right now. What's your high jump and long jump?
  614. Junius: (( But I need to know if he needs an Acro check ))
  615. Junius: (( 2 HJ, with a running start, and 2 LJ ))
  616. Mike:
  617. Lilea: You see the sarcophagi more clearly as you walk by them. Some truly intricate designs on their lids... And around the corner, the hallway thins. But you see just the barest hint of grass, too.
  618. Junius: (( Aand..he'll use a Sprint Action to move further, as well ))
  619. Mike:
  620. Okay. Junius, as you leap over the threshold... nothing happens.
  621.
  622. Asher:
  623. "Well then. Wait up, Lilea." Asher too bolts forward
  624.
  625. Lilea Grove:
  626. "Hm, this looks more like my kind of danger."
  627. Mike:
  628. * Lilea: You see a beautiful garden, with jungle trees and flowers. In the back, you can make out the gleam of another small treasure chest... and a bleached-white skeleton.
  629.
  630. Mana:
  631. Mana sneaks ahead. 19 Sneaking Powers!
  632.
  633. Asher:
  634. "Let's hope our Pokemon can handle it. I don't know about you, but I can't use my strength well in a fight!"
  635. Mike:
  636. Mana... As you enter the room, you see large jungle flowers to either end, and many more small flowers littering the ground. If this was a well-trimmed garden at one point, it has since overgrown.
  637.
  638. Mana:
  639. Mana continues to sneak to the chest!
  640. Mike:
  641. Junius: As you sneak forward... The ground trembles under you slightly. Quick, Acrobatics to leap away!
  642.
  643. Junius:
  644. Junius is a bit more cautious about things, sniffing the air to see if he can smell any LIVING foes---after this. 8
  645. Mike:
  646. Not fast enough! The web flies up out of the grass, lifting Junius into it, like a net.
  647.
  648. Junius:
  649. Junius goes up 3 meter(s).
  650.
  651. Skorupi 2:
  652. * As the net flies up, you can hear chittering around you. Skorupi slowly emerge from the flowers... They seem a little inebriated. You can smell fermented berry juice on their breath, even from here.
  653.
  654. Skorupi 2:
  655. * The Skorupi will advance towards the trees near the net... Their claws clack. What do you do?
  656.
  657. Mana:
  658. Mana continues to hide. Lilea sends out Olivia!
  659.
  660. Asher:
  661. "Gah! You've really done it now, Junius. How'm I supposed to get out of...wait. Attack!" Can Junius used Ranged moves while tangled up>?
  662. Mike:
  663. Junius is technically Trapped, and cannot Shift.
  664. Mike:
  665. But he can still be used to attack... with your command.
  666. Mike:
  667. Loading speeds, pausing timer.
  668. Asher has received initiative.
  669. Asher: (( Ah, wait, Juggler's effect wouldn't apply here, would it? ))
  670. Mike:
  671. Restarting timer. Asher!
  672. Mike:
  673. Heh. Yes, it would.
  674. Asher: (( Ah. Didn't know if it would, since he wasn't released. Good to know, though! ))
  675. Mike:
  676. Well. Juggler lets you use Quick Switch to get out of Trapped, I believe.
  677. Mike:
  678. I thought that's what you meant.
  679. Mike:
  680. If you mean the init bonus, no. That's only when sent out of a pokeball directly.
  681. Asher: (( All right ))
  682. Mike:
  683. So yes. Your turn! Using one of your commands, or other things?
  684.

1043. "Oh? Thank you! I expect something to use this on in here, truth be told. We won't get off with small fry forever."
  1044. Mike:
1045. Yeah, you guys were pretty much perfectly suited to take that down.
  1046. Mike:
1047. Plus, they were drunk, so that helped.
  1048.
  1049. Asher:
1050. Indeed. Asher moves forward himself, down the narrow hallway!
  1051. Mike:
1052. * the hallway takes a sharp turn to the left here. You can't see the end, it's so far away.
  1053.
  1054.
  1055. Asher:
  1056. "Long way to go!"
  1057. Mike:
1058. * Well, now you can see the end. It looks like it's going to cut to the left again, basically navigating around the garden.
  1059.
  1060. Asher:
1061. "...I'm not leaving you too far behind, am I? Sometimes I forget how quick I am."
  1062.
  1063.
  1064. Mike:
1065. * Peeking around the corner, you can see another walled-in garden.
  1066. Mike:
1067. * What it contains... You'll have to get a closer, less walled-off look to know.
  1068.
  1069. Asher:
1070. "Should we bother with this one, or leave it alone and try and get farther in?"
  1071.
  1072. Lilea Grove:
  1073. "Check for chests."
  1074.
  1075. Mike:
1076. * You can hear bubbling water in the garden, somewhere towards the back.
  1077.
  1078. Jafar:
  1079. Sprint action that time
  1080. Mike:
1081. * A beautiful spring sits here, burbling clear, clean, healthy water. Just being in the room makes you feel a little healthier.
  1082.
  1083. Asher:
  1084. "I hear water...but I can't say I need a drink just yet!"
  1085.
  1086. Asher:
1087. "However...there might be something in there, I suppose."
  1088.
  1089. Lilea Grove:
1090. "Hm, something might be underwater."
  1091. Mike:
1092. Hm. Is Jafar just looking into the water, or diving in?
  1093.
  1094. Jafar:
1095. Jafar flies over the pool to check!
  1096.
  1097. Jafar:
1098. Oh, right, Sinker no longer exists. Still, for now, just looking.
  1099.
  1100. Jafar:
  1101. 18 Perception, if needed!
  1102. Mike:
1103. * The water is clear and cool, and you can see to the stony bottom of the spring. You don't see anything laying there, unfortunately.
  1104.
  1105. Jafar:
1106. Jafar doubles back, not having noticed anything.
  1107.
  1108. Asher:
1109. "Nothing? What a shame. Well...let's continue on, unless you've got other business here?"
  1110.
  1111. Lilea Grove:
1112. "Hm, we should continue ahead..."
  1113. Mike:
1114. * Asher: The hallway goes into a T intersection up ahead. You see dirty scuffmarks on the floor to the right, just peeking out from the corner.
  1115.
  1116. Lilea Grove:
  1117. "I think right."
  1118.
  1119. Asher:
1120. "Looks like there may be trouble that way! Jafar, you go first."
  1121. Mike:
1122. * Jafar, you see a large wooden door ahead of you. It has a door handle, and the scuff marks lead... as if someone had been walking out fhe door, towards you.
  1123.
  1124. Jafar:
  1125. Is the door locked?
  1126. Mike:
1127. ...It is not. It creaks a bit as you check the handle. Will you open it?
  1128.
  1129. Jafar:
1130. Jafar will attempt to open the door, since it's the most obvious way forward!
  1131. Mike:
1132. * Opening the door, you see bookshelves, potted plants, a desk... An office. It looks relatively modern.
  1133.
  1134. Mana:
1135. Mana sneaks in first. 15
  1136.
  1137. Asher:
1138. "Certainly glad it wasn't trapped... Well, can't fault you, then."
  1139. Mike:
  1140. *sneak sneak sneak*
  1141. Mike:
1142. * To the left are wooden double-doors. Obviously, he main entrance to the office.
  1143.
  1144. Jafar:
1145. Jafar'll try sneaking in as well, though it doesnt' seem the situation warrants it. 14
  1146. Mike:
1147. * Nobody's inside... There's two bookshelves, a glass display case, and more potted plants.
  1148. Mike:
  1149. *sneak sneak sneak*
  1150.
  1151. Asher:
1152. "An office, in a temple...how anachronistic." Asher checks out the glass cases, first, just to see if there's anything obvious in them.
  1153. Mike:
  1154. Hrm!
  1155.
  1156. Mike:
1157. In the glass case is another Relic Band, but also some odd device - it looks like it fits over a Pokeball, like some kind of case. It looks... very dangerous, actually. Possibly illegal.
  1158.
  1159. Lilea Grove:
1160. Lilea searches through the room. 15 Perception, spending 1 AP.
  1161. Eclipse is disconnected.
  1162. Mike:
1163. Hrm! Consulting notes, one moment. Pausing timer.
  1164. Mike:
  1165. Speaking of:
  1166. Mike:
1167. * Your stomachs growl at the isotope. HALF HOUR WARNING.
  1168.
  1169. Asher:
1170. Asher goes to remove the items in the case, without much care for their legality...after all, it won't be him in trouble if they are. Hopefully.
  1171. Mike:
1172. * In the left bookshelf, there's a book that's obviously very new, and hasn't been touched. On the right bookshelf, there's an old, worn book, that's obviously been handled repeatedly. But behind the small blue bookshelf, there's the faint outline of a door - some kind of secret, it seems.
  1173. Mike:
  1174. Restarting timer.
  1175.
  1176. Relic Band 2:
1177. * The case opens smoothly, revealing a Relic Band...
  1178.
  1179. Lilea Grove:
1180. Lilea takes the old worn book! What is it?
  1181.
  1182. Case (Devil):
  1183. * ...and a Devil Case.
  1184. Mike:
1185. * The book clicks as you move it, and won't come out of the bookshelf. But then, the blue bookcase moves!
  1186.
  1187. Lilea Grove:
1188. "Tee-hee~ Lets lookie in here!"
  1189. Mike:
1190. * The revealed hallway cuts to the left, and then again to the right. The air in here is much cooler than in the temple proper.
  1191.
  1192. Asher:
1193. "Sure, why not? Can't be anything dangerous past a secret bookcase..."
1194. Asher: (( can you revert last move? ))
  1195. Mike:
  1196. I think so.
1197. Asher: (( Think I hit space at the wrong time and phased through the wall. ))
  1198. Mike:
  1199. Like that?
1200. Asher: (( Yeah, thanks. Didn't know if I'd be able to with the lock on ))
  1201. Mike:
1202. Refreshed your move timer as well, Asher.
  1203. Mike:
1204. * Mana, jafar. You see stone stairs leading down, down into the earth.
  1205.
  1206. Jafar:
1207. Down, down, doooown... Well, nowhere to go but there, now.
  1208.
  1209. Mike:
1210. * You can hear flapping wings as you approach the stairs.
  1211.
  1212.
  1213. Zubat 1:
1214. * You can see the wings of a Zubat flapping about... And also, another small Treasure Chest, tucked in the corner.
  1215.
  1216. Zubat 1:
1217. "(Kwah! Strangers!)" He seems agitated.
  1218.
  1219. Jafar:
1220. Jafar doesn't pay much mind to the little bat, instead more focused on that there treasure chest.
  1221.
  1222. Lilea Grove:
1223. "(Hi! We're just coming through!)"
  1224.
  1225. Lilea Grove:
1226. "(I hope you don't mind our noise, we'll be in and out without any trouble~)" 18 Charm
  1227.
  1228. Lilea Grove:
1229. Lilea speaks in Kanto Pokemon
  1230.
  1231. Zubat 1:
1232. "(Through! To where?)" He flaps about, but seems to calm down a bit. "(Hnf... Okay. Just, no bright lights!)"
  1233.
  1234. Lilea Grove:
  1235. "(We promise.)"
1236. Mike: (( Gwaaaaah forgot about languages. Uh uh uhm. Too late, already spoke. So... ))
  1237. Mike:
1238. * Yes, the Zubat speaks Kanto. Which is odd, all things considering!
  1239.
  1240. Golett 5:
1241. * As you round the corner, in the dim light, you can see a Golett standing perfectly still in the middle of the cavern.
  1242.
  1243. Golett 5:
  1244. * It's covered in steel plates.
  1245.
  1246. Asher:
1247. Well, Asher's a fast little bugger, so he can make it to the chest with a dash.
  1248.
  1249. Zubat 1:
1250. * The Zubat lands on the ceiling, and hangs, watching you all with trepidation.
  1251.
  1252. Asher:
1253. Asher attempts to open the chest! And pays mind to those bones...
  1254.
  1255. Zubat 9:
1256. * In the back of the cave, another Zubat flutters about, unsure what to make of all this new noise. But it doesn't attack immediately.
  1257.
  1258. Bones:
1259. * Asher. Are you searching the bones, or just not touching them?
  1260.
1261. Treasure Chest (small, closed) 6:
1262. * When you try to open it, the chest doesn't budge - locked.
  1263.
  1264. Asher:
  1265. I'll search them, I suppose.
  1266. Mike:
1267. Gimme a d20 luck roll then please.
  1268.
  1269. Asher:
  1270. 15
  1271. Mike:
1272. Jafar: As you fly around the cave, you see a glint of something, hidden behind a wall of rocks. There are only a few thin gaps there to see - or move - through.
  1273.
  1274. Asher:
1275. "You not coming down, Lilea? I suppose it is a bit spooky..."
  1276.
  1277. Coin (Gold) 1:
1278. * Clenched in the skeleton's hand is a gold coin.
  1279.
  1280. Lilea Grove:
1281. "The zubat said there was nothing through here, so I wasn't sure if youw ere going to come back up." Lilea said, hushed.
  1282.
  1283. Golett 5:
1284. * The Golett turns to Jafar as he moved. "DO NOT DISTURB THE PRIESTLY TROVE."
  1285.
  1286. Asher:
1287. "Hm. What good's treasure like this to a Zubat? You never know what counts as 'nothing' to them."
  1288.
  1289. Zubat 1:
1290. * The Zubat on the ceiling watches, not sure what's so special about the thing.
  1291.
  1292. Asher:
1293. Asher pockets the coin, and...hm, can I try a check other than Combat to try and force the lock?
  1294.
  1295. Lilea Grove:
1296. "She just didn't like the idea of bright lights."
  1297.
  1298. Jafar:
1299. Jafar gives the Golett a taunting look, and sticks his tongue, before ignoring it and heading back through the cave some more.
  1300.
  1301. Lilea Grove:
1302. Lilea smiles to the zubat again, "(Do you want to come with me? I'm a skilled poisoned pokemon trainer.)"
  1303.
  1304. Golett 5:
1305. * The Golett continues to watch Jafar, turning in place. "DO NOT VENTURE FURTHER."
  1306.
  1307. Zubat 1:
1308. * The Zubat cocks his head. "(Go? Where?)" He might listen to you, but it would be another social check to convince him, for the record.
  1309.
  1310. Jafar:
1311. Jafar...again, doesn't give a hoot. He keeps going, and tries to squeeze in through the rocks.
  1312. Mike:
  1313. Sorry, missed it earlier.
  1314.
  1315. Lilea Grove:
1316. "(With me and my friends.)" Lilea took out a pokeball, "(I can build a den if you like, and teach you neat moves!)" Charm 15 Spending 1 AP
  1317. Mike:
1318. Jafar: The rocks are tightly squeezed together. Consulting notes, one moment.
  1319.
  1320. Jafar:
1321. Hmm...Could I try a Bulldoze to attempt to level the ground?
  1322. Mike:
1323. It'd be DC 15 Acro to squeeze through, or some capability might work as well, if you can convince me. But, a Bulldoze will work, though violently.
  1324.
  1325. Zubat 1:
1326. * The Zubat considers it for a few moments. "(...Okay. This cave is boring anyway. It's cozy, but nothing ever happens.)" He flies to Lilea's level, and hangs there, ready to be caught.
  1327.
  1328. Jafar:
1329. He's gonna have to go the violent route. No capabilites that'd apply, really. Bulldoze! If you need an Acro check, just say so.
  1330.
  1331. Lilea Grove:
1332. Lilea taps the pokeball to his head softly.
  1333. Mike:
1334. VIolence like that won't need a check.
  1335.
  1336. Zubat 1:
  1337. *boop*
  1338.
  1339. Asher:
1340. Oh, and as I asked before, can Asher try another skill, besides Combat, to force the lock? Athletics is the only one I could think would apply, that he has at least.
  1341.
  1342. Zubat 1:
1343. * The Zubat is brought into the Pokeball, and it wiggles gently in your hand, three times, before going *ding*.
  1344.
  1345. Zubat 1:
1346. * Ownership set to Lilea, PC status. You may examine its Notes for more details.
  1347.
  1348. Treasure Chest (large, closed):
1349. * Behind the rocks, a very large treasure chest rests.
  1350.
  1351. Jafar:
1352. Jafar, happy with himself for razing the area, advances toward the chest.
  1353.
  1354. Golett 5:
1355. * The Golett tries to run after Jafar!
  1356.
  1357. Asher:
1358. "..what's he doing over there? What was that sound?"
  1359.
  1360. Golett 5:
1361. * But he can't get there fast enough. He'll have to wait a bit before he can reach you...
  1362.
  1363. Jafar:
1364. Jafar takes advantage of his time lead, and tries to force the chest open, if it's locked...
  1365. Mike:
1366. *stomachs gurgle... twelve and a half minutes remain.
  1367. Mike:
1368. That'll be a Combat check, if you please - it's not just about power, but also accuracy and skill, to open it that way without breaking anything.
  1369.
  1370. Jafar:
  1371. 13 All right, then
  1372.
  1373. Treasure Chest (large, closed):
1374. * You attack the chest's lock, but it's sturdier than its smaller counterparts. You hear something crack inside.
  1375.
  1376. Asher:
1377. "This is...tricky. You think Mana can handle it like she did the others?"
  1378.
  1379. Lilea Grove:
  1380. "Probably!"
  1381.
  1382. Golett 5:
1383. * The Golett finally gets its stubby legs in gear, and attempts to throw a Dynamic Punch at the Gliscor! He leaps to reach. 10 to hit v.DefEva!
  1384.
  1385. Asher:
1386. "Oh...I meant the other one! But, well, this one could apply, too."
  1387.
  1388. Jafar:
  1389. That...is a hit
  1390.
  1391. Golett 5:
1392. 44 Fighting-type damage, and you are now Confused.
  1393.
  1394. Jafar:
1395. Jafar loses 11 hit points.
  1396.
  1397. Golett 5:
1398. "DO NOT DISTURB THE PRIESTLY TROVE."
  1399.
  1400. Mana:
1401. Mana attempts to Leaf Blade! 7 Physical!
  1402.
  1403. Jafar:
1404. Jafar's barely phazed from the hit! ...physically. Mentally, his brain's been rattled around!
  1405.
  1406. Golett 5:
  1407. Hit!
  1408.
  1409. Golett 5:
1410. Maybe I should bring up initiative now. >.>
  1411.
  1412. Mana:
  1413. 29 Physical Grass!
  1414.
  1415. Golett 5:
  1416. 15
  1417.
  1418. Golett 5:
  1419. Golett 5 loses 15 hit points.
  1420. Asher has received initiative.
1421. Lilea Grove has received initiative.
  1422. Jafar has received initiative.
  1423. Mike:
1424. I presume you're both using Commands, but stop me if you aren't.
  1425.
  1426. Lilea Grove:
1427. "Get the chest open, we don't have much time, Mana will distract!"
  1428.
  1429. Lilea Grove:
  1430. ((Yep))
  1431.
  1432. Asher:
1433. "If you say so. Jafar, try and get that chest open!"
  1434.
  1435. Jafar:
  1436. 15 Confusion roll
  1437. Mike:
  1438. Temporary success!
  1439.
  1440. Jafar:
1441. 12 Jafar again attempts to crack open the chest! He's still rattled, though.
  1442.
  1443. Treasure Chest (large, closed):
1444. * The wooden box cracks, but does not break. You hear another item inside shatter.
  1445.
  1446. Asher:
1447. "Guh...I don't want him to try any more. He's not the delicate sort."
  1448.
  1449. Lilea Grove:
1450. "We switch then... Mana will open!"
  1451.
  1452. Golett 5:
1453. * the Golett unleashes an attack of significant Magnitude! 16 to hit Mana, who's the only one in range.
  1454.
  1455. Golett 5:
  1456. Magnitude 5!
  1457.
  1458. Golett 5:
  1459. Should be 6.
  1460.
  1461. Golett 5:
  1462. 43 Ground damage!
  1463. Mana has received initiative.
  1464.
  1465. Mana:
  1466. (Physical?)
  1467.
  1468. Golett 5:
  1469. Yep!
  1470.
  1471. Mana:
1472. Mana loses 18 hit points.
  1473. Mike:
1474. * Your stomach rumblings subside... FIVE MINUE WARNING.
  1475.
  1476. Mana:
1477. Mana attempts to slice the lock! Combat! 23
  1478. Mike:
1479. Mana's expert hand does the trick!
  1480.
  1481. Lilea Grove:
1482. "Grab and poof you two!"
  1483. Mike:
1484. Give me four d20's, and two 2d4 please.
  1485. Mike:
1486. Timer paused while calculating treasures... and which ones are broken. >
  1487.
  1488. Lilea Grove:
  1489. 9 | 3 | 1 | 16 || 1 | 16 || 16 || 4
  1490.
  1491. Lilea Grove:
  1492. Didn't work...
  1493.
  1494. Lilea Grove:
  1495. *shrug*
1496. Asher: (( Well, Uh, only those first four count I guess, sadly ))
  1497. Asher: (( Need another 2d4 I think ))
  1498.
  1499. Lilea Grove:
  1500. 3
  1501. Mike:
1502. I dunno what happened there. Yeah. Calculating!
1503. Asher: (( let's just hope the 1 and the 3 are the broken ones... ))
  1504. Mike:
  1505. 2
  1506. Mike:
  1507. 4
  1508. Mike:
1509. Inside the box is a Relic Vase... A Relic band, now shattered... a ripped-up Power Herb... and a sturdy-looking Light Shield.
  1510. Mike:
  1511. Resuming timer.
  1512. Asher has received initiative.
1513. Lilea Grove has received initiative.
  1514.
  1515. Lilea Grove:
1516. "Want to catch the golett?"
  1517. Asher has received initiative.
  1518.
  1519. Asher:
1520. "Sure, I'll give it a shot. You can go try that other chest, if you want, in the meantime!"
  1521. Mike:
  1522. Up to you, Asher.
  1523.
  1524. Lilea Grove:
  1525. "Heavy Ball will work!"
  1526.
  1527. Asher:
1528. Asher keeps his orders up.
1529. Lilea Grove has received initiative.
  1530. Jafar has received initiative.
  1531. Mike:
  1532. And Lilea moved, so...
1533. Asher: (( Dunno if I can catch it just yet, it's nearly at full HP ))
  1534. Mike:
  1535. You can try!
  1536. Mike:
  1537. Dunno if you'd succeed.
  1538.
  1539. Jafar:
  1540. 4 Confusion roll
  1541. Mike:
  1542. :3
  1543.
  1544. Jafar:
  1545. darn
  1546. Mike:
1547. Wah wah. Jafar hurts himself in the confusion!
1548. Jafar: (( Uh, time out, I need to check Struggle Attack damage. ))
  1549. Mike:
  1550. Paused.
  1551. Jafar: (( All right, I got it. 32 ))
1552. Jafar: (( And resisted one step further, yes? ))
  1553. Mike:
  1554. Correct.
  1555.
  1556. Jafar:
1557. Jafar loses 5 hit points.
  1558. Mike:
  1559. Good to continue?
  1560. Jafar: (( Yeah, I'm good ))
  1561.
  1562. Golett 5:
1563. * The Golett turns on Mana, and winds up for another Dynamic Punch! "LEAVE THIS PLACE. UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS IS PROHIBITED." 9 to hit v.DefEva, and if it hits,to hit v.DefEva, and if it hits, 55 Physical Fighting damage.
  1564.
  1565. Jafar:
1566. Jafar loses 16 hit points.
  1567.
  1568. Golett 5:
1569. * Man, this Golett REALLY knows how to throw a Dynamic Punch.
  1570.
  1571. Mana:
1572. Mana loses 30 hit points.
  1573.
  1574. Golett 5:
1575. The injury lowered the Special Defense stat!
  1576.
  1577. Mana:
  1578. Wound
  1579. Mana has received initiative.
  1580. Jafar: (( Oh, MANA. ))
  1581.
  1582. Mana:
1583. Mana uses Poison Jab! 14 Physical. 31 Poison damage, poisons on 14+. AdditionalPhysical. 31 Poison damage, poisons on 14+. AdditionalPoison damage, poisons on 14+. Additional 24 Damage on a critical.
  1584.

1586. Jafar is healed and gains 16 hit points.
  1587.
  1588. Mana:
  1589. 31 damage + Poison status
1590. Jafar: (( Unfortunately, pretty sure it's immune to that ))
  1591.
  1592. Golett 5:
1593. Hit! However, Golett is Steel-typed, and thus, immune to Poison attacks.
  1594. Asher has received initiative.
  1595.
  1596. Asher:
1597. "We...probably don't have enough time for another round."
  1598.
  1599. Lilea Grove:
  1600. "Now or never!"
1601. Asher: (( If only I could see it from here. ))
  1602.
  1603. Lilea Grove:
1604. Thinking: Crud, I thought it was Rock or something.
  1605. Mike:
  1606. You can move, Asher.
  1607. Mike:
  1608. ONE MINUTE WARNING.
  1609.
  1610. Lilea Grove:
  1611. ((1 AP for +1 accuracy))
1612. Asher: (( Well, I coulda released, used First Blood, and then thrown a ball, but I can't if I move first! ))
  1613. Mike:
1614. Ah. True. Up to you!
  1615.
  1616. Asher:
1617. 17 And, sure, I'll throw an AP out there for an extra +1.
  1618. Mike:
  1619. HIT
1620. Asher: (( subtract Trainer Level, right ))
  1621.
  1622. Golett 5:
1623. * The Golett is sucked up by the Pokeball!
  1624.
  1625. Golett 5:
  1626. Yes.
1627. Asher: (( And using the Heavy Ball ))
  1628.
  1629. Asher:
1630. 0 so I dunno if there's any other modifier, if so, add it on!
  1631. Mike:
1632. Understood. Golett is Weight Class 4, but thanks to the extra steel typing, I'll say it's actually WC 5.
  1633. Mike:
  1634. So an extra -20.
  1635. Mike:
  1636. Calculating. Timer paused.
  1637. Asher: (( So -20 overall. I'll hope that works ))
  1638.
  1639. Golett 5:
1640. * It's an incredibly tight capture, but with Asher's Pokeball throwing skills, he gets just the right lob to wedge the ball under the edge of the Treasure Chest.
  1641.
  1642. Golett 5:
  1643. *wriggle*
  1644.
  1645. Golett 5:
  1646. *waggle*
  1647.
  1648. Golett 5:
  1649. *wiggle*
  1650.
  1651. Golett 5:
  1652. *ding!*
  1653.
  1654. Golett 5:
  1655. * Ownership transferred!
  1656.
  1657. Mana:
1658. Is holding the treasure. :3
  1659. Mike:
  1660. Timer resumed...
  1661. Mike:
1662. * ...and it immediately goes off. It had 3 seconds left.
  1663.
  1664. Asher:
1665. "Hah! I knew my skill with...I won't finish that sentence, but let's hope it'll listen to me..."
  1666.
  1667.
  1668. Rutherford:
1669. * The magician-hatted Kadabra appears in a flash of psychic energy, in the middle of the cave.
  1670.
  1671. Rutherford:
1672. "It is time to go. Recall your Pokemon, and we will be off!"
  1673.
  1674. Asher:
1675. "Right! Back to me, Jafar! And stop trying to eat the chest." Asher dashes and picks up the Poke Ball, and gets ready to leave.
  1676.
  1677. Rutherford:
1678. * With you and yours gathered, Rutherford waves his stick in a single motion... And you disappear from the cave, never to return.
  1679. Mike:
1680. Now to total up the loot price, and the PKMN EXP. Remember to write down the info on your new Pokemon, guys! It's in the Notes on the token.
  1681. Mana:
1682. ((Bring the zubat here then))
  1683. Mike:
1684. Unfortunately, you didn't recover quite as much treasure from the temple as you could've. The Bands, Vases, and few Coins total up to 2 BP, for you to split as you like. You also have the Caltrops, Devil Case, and Light Shield - since I think you used both Pokeballs on catching Pokemon, heh.
  1685. Mike:
1686. Actually, sorry. Rounding error. 3 BP total.
  1687. Mike:
1688. So split that as you like. Totalling EXP.
  1689.
  1690. Lilea Grove:
1691. "If you want the BP, I can take the items."
  1692.
  1693. Asher:
1694. "Hm... Are you sure that's fair for you? I think I did most of the fighting, but you did most of the finding!"
  1695. Mike:
1696. Each Trainer gets 136 Pokemon EXP to distribute among their Pokemon as they see fit.
  1697. Mike:
1698. * Well, the Pokemon they have on their belt at this moment. That includes your new catches.
  1699.
  1700. Lilea Grove:
1701. "I don't like figuring out who did the most work for anything, unless there is an obvious slacker."
  1702. Mike:
  1703. Saving a log~
  1704. Mike:
1705. But yes. Please distribute phat lewts before you leave, so that they aren't lost.
  1706.
  1707. Asher:
  1708. "Well, if you're sure, I won't argue, I suppose..."
  1709.
  1710. Lilea Grove:
1711. "I can do without BP, or earn more if I need to. The items are a gamble, if anything it's unfair to you."
1712. Mike: (( Gonna go get dinner. But I hope you all had fun! Even if you missed some big secrets. :3 ))
1713. Asher: (( and probably skipped right over the boss! But, yeah, it was pretty fun nonetheless. And I got a Pokemon out of it ))
  1714.
  1715. Lilea Grove:
1716. ((We probably found some big ones too!))
