jangmi is not necessarily a quiet person, she just chooses the times she wishes to speak. when she does, it’s because what she intends to say is incredibly important or incredibly political. from an outside perspective, she doesn’t seem to care about much, but on the inside she’s a burning fire of opinions. she just prefers to keep to herself. watching and listening to the things around her is more her style. it grounds her. keeps her feeling human. ever the one to get lost in her thoughts(often self-deprecating), jangmi can be an airhead on occasion.

her self-depreciating thoughts are thanks to her critical nature. she thinks hard, too hard. she doesn’t let herself be anything other than perfect and when she fails to reach her unrealistic expectation, she takes it out on herself. she’s never good enough. never smart enough. she’s the pathetic firstborn that no mother could ever be proud of. but it’s all in her head. just as most things are. she constantly wears a lens that forces her to see only the negative about herself. she refuses to let go or believe that things could or should be better for her. she’s that kind of stubborn. so she continues to push herself. past her breaking point, past what is healthy. because until she is good enough, she doesn’t deserve to be happy.

jangmi is skittish to no end. everything unnerves her. the creak of a bed at night, the screams of joy and terror at amusement parks. things that are entirely normal make her nervous. she is good at hiding it, but her heart is constantly beating just a bit too fast. shes been told numerous times there’s nothing to fear, but what more to fear than to be misled? she doesn’t trust easily, opting to be kind be careful. she never knows what could come from being attached. this is likely why she doesn’t let many get close enough to call a friend. she can be the physical embodiment of her name. beautiful but untouchable.

whether she knows it and isn’t willing to admit it or she’s just that oblivious, jangmi is touch-starved. she longs for affection and validation and to be told sincerely that she’s okay. jangmi wants to be treated with care. she wants to love and to be loved. she’s a secret diehard romantic but doesn’t allow herself to succumb to those feelings. if she did, she’d probably have a significant other by now. she just really wants to be happy, but she won’t let herself have that.


        ♡ thoughts on the experiment? : the thought of being so intimately connected with people who she doesn’t know is unsettling. it’s blind trust and she hates that. the concept of invasion of privacy is something she’s never truly gelled with, now that it’s being forced down her throat, she hates it even more.

        ♡ pride frustrates her. it’s as simple as that. they’re annoying and are another cause her her self-loathing. they couldn’t help carry themselves in a way that made her feel inferior
        ♡ she was a bit taken aback at how free sloth was. almost envious that someone could be so carefree
        ♡ jangmi has no problem with gluttony. she rather likes them. they seemed like a genuinely decent person and she appreciated that.
        ♡ she found incendiary to be a lot like herself. they made her feel comfortable. she was almost caught off guard at how safe she felt in their company
        ♡ lust scares her. plain and simple. she at first felt respect for them, seeing the bandages and assuming they were like her, but their personality truly threw her off
        ♡ she thinks envy is sweet. they’re really hardworking and she thinks they deserve all the rewards they get for it
        ♡ she rather dislikes wrath and their way of dealing with things. but as long as they stay away from her she has no problem
        ♡ she hate hate hate hate hates talent. she has been in a plethora of uncomfortable situations, but none as awful as the ones she’s been in under their gaze. she’s mixed, not an exotic animal to gawk at. not a lion to tame. how anyone could be so disgusting a vile is beyond her.
