How War Kills

Out in a warzone
People getting shot
Dead bodies dropping
Limbs blown away
I run to one
And see first hand
How war can kill
In many ways
Men that i knew
Impaled on bamboo
Children sixteen
Ripped to shreds
By a machibe guns
Nest
And even after
All was said and done
In that forest
Of hell i was in
Survivors hanged
By them or others
Beaten away
By former friends
For going to a war
They were force to
Fight in
The "lucky" few
That lived
Can still see the way
War can kill a man
Body and soul.
