Yutaka and Yuki aren't the only ones with a big day ahead of them. At Sekinohara police station, Shu Sato is currently giving a statement to a rather exhausted looking policeman, as Ichigo surely will be doing soon as well. As she awaits the call, however, she sees another policeman enter the station, leading a familiar face past in handcuffs.

Saya, you see Ichigo sat off to the side as you're led into the station.

Ichigo sees her friend being walked in runs up to her grabbing her handcuffed hands. "Oh Fukumoda-senpai, Don't worry about me. There was some explosion at my house but I am fine and Mister Sato is giving a statement." Ichigo looks down at their hands feeling something wet on her friends hands noticing the blood for the first time. "Wh-what happened to you? Are you hurt?"

The policeman escorting Saya pulls her aside, not willing to lay a hand on Ichigo, but unable to leave this be. 'Miss, this girl is a suspect, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to keep your distance.'

As you reach into the purse to try to produce these items, there's nothing there, and you feel something twist in your mind for a second, like an abrupt, split second headache, turning on your heel and  hitting the nearest window as hard as you can.
This being a police station, the windows are fairly sturdy, and beyond your ability to break, but both the policeman escorting Saya and the one at the reception desk react immediately, moving to try and get you to calm down.

"I don't know what's going on! Please, I swear! You're not going to just lock a girl in a cell without investigating anything are you?!"

'Miss, you can't just go causing a scene in the middle of a police station. Sit back down.'

Saya continues, "How do you know this isn't some elaborate practical joke? You came alone, did you even check for a pulse? I...I just want to go to school today." Saya had stopped yelling by the end of her tirade, and just looked pleadingly into the officer's eyes.

Ichigo hears Saya talk calmly to the officer and attempts to help. "Yes this is all a big misunderstanding, We can all go home Mister Sato can sort all this mess out with the statement and we can make it to School before Lunch." She says trying to call Shu over to help with the officer.

The policeman shakes his head.

'I did check, actually. Look. That girl was dead, and we haven't determined anything for sure, yet, but we need you to stay put whle we figure out what happ̨͒ͧp̋ͭ͟ě̊ͤnͯͯ͘eͣ͊͛G͊̓̅zͣ̓̅c̏ͨ̋V̙̱̙=́#̴@̈'ͤ̄͐/ͬ̈͊/͕͈͚,̾ͤ́>̲̿̎G͊̍͘b͈̤ͤ4̟̟ͮV͊̾͑'

The rest of the policeman's statement is drowned out by a horrible metallic scraping sound and a sudden rush of whispers, though no-one else besides you and Ichigo appears to take note of it.

Before you have the opportunity to react, the police station and the policemen fade out of sight, replaced by a shadowy, blue tinged version of itself, which wavers and shimmers around the edges, as if through the haze of a very hot day. Here and there, this shadowy version of the building appears to be broken, chunks of walls and floor drifting off partially, but teathered in place by chains.

Minako, you're on your way to school, ready to chew Kumiko out for leaving without even waking you up first, passing by the local police station as you head to your destination, when you hear a horrible noise and find yourself wandering into a bizarre shadowy copy of your old familiar school route. You can see an edge to this space, a particularly wavy, relatively pale wall past which you can see people going about their business perfectly normally. Anyone whose path takes them into the bounds of this shadowy version of the immediate area, however, vanishes from your sight.

I'd like all three of you to roll to stay calm

Saya, in spite of the abrupt and surreal situation you find yourself in, and perhaps due to all that has already transpired this morning already, this is not enough to shake you any more than you already are.

Indeed, all three of you, now that you're here, and once Ichigo and Minako manage to collect themselves and bring their breathing down to normal, start to recall your morning's dreams taking place in a space much like this one.

'I was starting to think I might have been wrong about something.'

A monotone voice chimes up by your feet, a strange, and strangely familiar six legged, vaguely weasel like creature with overly large, piercing eyes looking up at you(?)

'You should probably follow that girl before she gets herself killed.' The creature adds.

Looks at the creature down infront of her...Ichigo remembering more from the dream last night. "Ma...Mana-tan. You were in my dream last night." Ichigo says "I don't think this is an Ordinary creature." Ichigo moves to hold Saya's hand seeing if she is ready to move before moving to Minako.

Ichigo looks around at the street realises that they are the only 3 'around' even Shu is in the shadowy state. "You walk to school with Kumiko every morning...Something must of happened to her" Ichigo says letting go of Saya bloody hands to run to her best friend.

'Oh. It's here.' Mana-tan turns to look back at the police station, ignoring the interpersonal drama, before coiling their tail around themselves and vanishing.

'Try not to die.'


The police station door buckles outwards before with a crack, it gives way, a series of large chitinous insect like legs, each as thick as a lamp post, emerge from the gloom, revealing themselves to all be emerging from what would normally be the head of a massive green snake-like body, lined on either size of it's torso with various noh masks, all dripping a bright purple fluid from their gaping mouthes.
Yeah, all three of you should roll to stay calm.

'What're you all doing? Transform already. You made a deal, remember?' Mana-tan's disembodied voice has the mildest possible hint of irritation to it now as the creature, the wraith, slithers free of the shattered police station door, the ring of insectoid legs that form it's 'head' opening up and depositing a pair of much smaller, similar creatures upon the ground in front of it, the shorter, miniature versions sporting far fewer masks, each roughly the same size as one of the girls.

Yutaka, Yuki, as you head for school, you both hear a horrible, discordant series of noises a couple of blocks away, as well as a vaguely familiar whispering noise. Yuki, thanks to your early morning occult escapades, you know what this is, it's the sign that a wraith's domain has manifested. That'll need dealing with or there'll definitely be some sort of trouble.
