Unforeseen Consequences - Goodbye Alicorn fillies

    >”I’m not sure about that, like, you did offer me that deal and…” the little Celestia sighed “I did all of those… things”
    “No, he’s right, all of this was my fault, my lies were the root of this problem, and we wouldn’t have gotten out of that mess if I hadn’t said the truth. That was the lesson Discord wanted me to learn after all. A lesson that gotta admit I probably wouldn’t have learned without his chaotic antics. Still…”
    >You raised an eyebrow at Discord
    “I have to admit that while it was cool as heck, you went a bit overboard with the orange light, but a bit over the top, even for you.”
    >Discord smiled at you and shook his head ”As always, my little prince, you are only partially right. It is true that without my magnificent help, you wouldn’t have been able to solve the conundrum that you got yourself into, but you are wrong, oh so wrong if you actually believe that I had to do something with that little light show”
    “Do you really think that I would believe that my cutie mark would start to act all crazy just because I had a realization about honesty?”
    >”Well, a few moons ago I would have laughed at the fool who would dare to tell me that the princess would adopt a foal and that said colt would get a cutie mark in harmony but here we are.”
    >”My prince…” The little Celestia gave you a nervous look “I think he’s saying the truth”
    >Your eyes became wide open as you laughed nervously
    “Nah, there’s no way, there’s no frickin’ way! Come on Discord, stop joking already, you are starting to creep me out”
    >”Oh, but I’m not joking. I seriously have no idea why that happened, but if you want a clue, I think those two mares may have seen the direction in which that light went to. I mean” Discord chuckled “Considering they were cowering on the roof, they had to see something, right?”

“Well, we won’t know that until Cherrywood and Luna bring them here”
>”Yeah…” The little Celestia cringed at their mention “I… kinda want to apologize to them… especially to that purple alicorn, I mean, yeah she acted like a creepy weirdo but like, maybe she ain’t crazy all the time, you know?”
>”We could wait, that much is true… ooooor, I could speed up the process by doing this!” Discord snapped his talons, teleporting the little Celestia, him and you to Luna’s study
>You looked left and right… but there was no sign of Starlight, Moon Dancer or the two fillies
“Discord, there’s no one except us here”
>”Yeah…” The little Celestia looked at every direction “It’s just the same mess of before”
>”Look again, my dears!” Discord snapped his talons again making the two mares and fillies to appear inside the study. They were in the middle of a conversation and for the looks of it, it was actually going alright.
>The little Luna was looking somewhat nervous though, her voice was even weaker than before ”B-But how can you be so forgiving after everything we did to you?”
>The first one to get up was Starlight, who just patted the little Luna’s mane ”We told you already, yeah those things you created were probably the scariest things that Moon Dancer and I have ever seen, but looking at the whole thing in retrospective…”
>”Those creatures that we saw were created by illusory magic of the likes we have never read, seen or even heard before” Moon Dancer continued “Starlight and I have a taste for studying magic that fits that description.”
> Starlight finally took notice of her surroundings ”And speaking of strange magic…” She looked at Discord “I think we have the king of that in here. Hello, Discord, I hope you are ready to mess with some bugs because after what happened today, I need to vent on somepony”

> Discord tapped his talons and paw together and chuckled ”I’m afraid that we will have to postpone our fun for a different day, I still have to explain to my dear Fluttershy why I took such a long absence, but worry not, because I heard from two little birds that in approximately five days there will be a whole platoon of our little bug friends coming our way.”
>”Sounds like fun” Starlight smirked and then looked at Moon Dancer “What do you think, Moon Dancer? Do you feel like testing your magical skills with us?”
> Moon Dancer nodded ”Count me in, I am dying to test a couple new spells that I learned last week, and those guys do sound like the perfect target practice, that said…” The mare with the glasses did some stretches “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, we still need to cast that reversal spell on the princesses”
>”I’m actually more worried about where Twilight is and if she’s fine after…” Starlight cringed a bit “Y’know…”
>”Oh, don’t worry about our dear purple princess” Discord chuckled “I’m sure that she had her fair share of fun, in fact…” Discord put his paw on a side of his head “I can already hear her joyful voice”
>From the other side of the study door a muffled yell could be heard… and it was filled with anger ”DISCOOOOOOOOOOORD!”
>”Well, that’s my cue to leave, ta-ta everypony!” Discord was ready to snap his talons, but you stop him before he teleported away
“Discord, wait!”
>The old draconequus raised an eyebrow “What is it, my prince? Don’t tell me that you are missing my magnificent presence already”
>You rolled your eyes and chuckled
“Eh… I think that I’ve had my dosage of Discord for today, but I couldn’t let you go just like that, but…. since you are so eager to return with your marefriend… I’ll keep it nice and simple. Thank you, Discord, even when you did it in your particular and chaotic way, you helped me a great deal to discover something about myself… you truly are something else”

>”You’re welcome, my prince…” Discord smiled, not his usual arrogant smile though, this was a genuine one “But I’m not fond of feelsy moments, so let’s just leave it at that. See you later, my prince… take care of yourself”
“You too, my dear weird uncle…”
>Discord rolled his eyes and snapped his talons, teleporting outside of the room and most surely into Fluttershy’s cottage… you have to repay him for this sometime.
>”So that guy is really part of your… our family, huh?” The little Celestia asked before letting out a sigh of relief “I’m just glad that he’s not actually your dad because that would mean that he and I …EWWW!” The little Celestia cringed and quickly shook her head “Like, THAT is actually the scariest thing that could ever, EVER happen”
“Well, kinda, Discord is not really an official part of our family, as in, he’s not actually related to any of us, it’s just that he’s…”
>The study’s door slammed open, interrupting what you were going to say. ”In. So. Much. TROUBLE!” Twilight entered the room, marching furiously and looking at every direction, most surely searching for your draconequus friend… and her mane style had changed from her sexy librarian-like style to a Mohawk…
>When Twilight noticed that Discord was no longer in the room, she yelled in anger “WHERE’S HE?!”
>Doing her best to contain her laughter, Starlight approached the purple princess and spoke in between giggles “He just left… but geez, Twilight, no need to get so angry… I actually kind of like your new style”
>”My mane is not the problem!” Twilight barked at her friend “The problem is all of those creatures that Discord summoned into the castle! Ooooh! Just you wait, I’m going to send a letter to Fluttershy and then she’ll…”
>”Twilight, that won’t be necessary.” Moon Dancer interrupted her with a calm voice “In fact, in my opinion, doing that would be unfair considering those weren’t real creatures and that Discord didn’t summon them.”

>Twilight rolled her eyes and replied with a sarcastic tone ”Oh, puh-lease! There’s no way in Equestria that those creatures weren’t the real deal and, of course, only somepony like Discord would…. well” Twilight tapped her chin “To be precise, only Discord and Eris would have that little thought about others safety”
>Starlight gently shook her head and sighed “Twilight, please, don’t be like that. What Moon Dancer told you it’s the truth. Discord had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the illusions that you saw.”
>”Okay...” Twilight put her hoof on her forehead and groaned “Okay, Starlight, if Discord wasn’t the responsible for those “Illusions” Then tell me, please, who the hay cast an illusory spell THAT powerful?”
”Well, Twilight, do you remember those two alicorn fillies that kicked your butts earlier today? Oh wait, you were in your little crazy trip, so maybe you don’t. Anyways, these two wonderful gals, have magic beyond belief and they just happen to like playing tricks on other ponies, you following me? Great, you see, Luna here used her own brand of magic to have some fun at your expenses”
>”Yeah!” The little Celestia jumped in defense of your statement “And there’s no better prankster than Luna and me… well” She rubbed the back of her head “Gotta admit that Luna may be an itty bitty better than me… nopony can scare ponies like my little sis”
>”What?!” Twilight looked at the little Luna with disbelief “I knew they were powerful but… those creatures… they felt more real than anything I’ve seen before, and that includes the illusions that Nightmare Moon created…”
“Oh man, you had to mention HER”
>”A-Are you alright, my prince?” The little Celestia asked, visibly worried about your mood being destroyed “W-Who is that Nightmare Moon…”
“Eeeeh… I’d rather not talk about her… I’ll just say that she was a very powerful pony and let’s leave it like that”

>”Oh… well, I thank you for the compliment but…” The little Luna looked at your bat with a smile “I could have never, and I mean never been able to make them feel so alive if it wasn’t for my best friend Cherrywood”
>Your bat rubbed the back of her neck, looking embarrassed by the compliment “Kekeke~! C’mon Luna, you did most of the job, I just helped with the details”
>”Cherrywood” The little Luna replied with a worried tone “Why are you underplaying yourself so much? You know that I would have never thought of using a Tattleworm to lure Starlight and Moon Dancer into a hive of rock wasps, or summoning a pack of chupacabras”
>”Oh brother…” Starlight placed her hoof on her forehead “Those things will give me nightmares for weeks”
>”Really?” Moon Dancer asked with fake surprise “Because I think that the ghostly apparitions were the worst part, that weeping mare will haunt my dreams until I get old”
>”Mhm! I particularly loved the rabid Timberwolves acting in conjunction with jackals. But they weren’t my creations, those were Cherrywood’s ideas, not mine” The little Luna then held your bat’s hooves “I just followed your instructions, so please Cherrywood, as your friend, I just ask you to be proud of your wonderful talent in understanding all the uncommon creatures that live or lived in this world.”
>”I…” Cherrywood looked at the little Luna’s hooves and then at her eyes “… thanks, Luna, really, very few ponies can understand me the way you do… you are an amazing friend and… and…” her voice broke as tears started to fall down her face.
>”Cherrywood?” The little Luna tilted her head “Why are you crying?”
>”Because…I’m scared” Cherrywood sniffled “I’m scared that… once you go back to being an adult, you will forget everything that we did together and I will lose a friend…a-and I kind of want you to stay like this b-but I know you can’t s-so…”

>When you saw your bat sobbing, you immediately wanted to comfort her, but the little Celestia stopped you from doing that by gently placing her hoof on your chest and whispering into your ear “Don’t you worry my prince, Luna may be shy, but she’s the kindest pony ever… so, just let her handle this, alright?”
“But…Agh!”
>The little Celestia gave you a bonk on the head and narrowed her eyes at you “I said let Luna handle this! This is an order from your mother!”
>That actually made you laugh, so, with a little smirk, you gently placed your hoof on the little Celestia’s forehead and gave her a light push
“Alright, mom… I’ll do what you say…”
>The little Celestia blushed a little, puffed her cheeks and nodded “Good… now…” she sat by your side “Time to see Luna’s magic in action!”
>The little Luna was calming Cherrywood’s sobbing by hugging her tightly and caressing her mane. When your bat calmed down, the little Luna whispered to her with a soothing tone “Oh, Cherrywood, I understand your fears, but they do not have a reason to be, for you see, I simply will not forget about my best friend just like that”
>”You…” Cherrywood sniffled a bit and wiped off her tears “You promise?”
>The little Luna gently nodded “Mhm! I super-duper promise…but… if perchance, I were to suffer some memory loss, you would only need to remind me of all the wonderful times we spent together to make fix it.”
>Your bat sighed “… And what if you don’t believe me? What if you think that I’m just a crazy filly like… like everypony at my school”
>”I suppose that can be a problem, I do not know if the adult me is as hard headed as my sister…mmm…” The little Luna looked to the ceiling and then to the little replica of the everfree forest that the study had “I know! If for some reason, I were to distrust your words, then you only need to say this to the adult me…” She whispered something into your bat’s ear, something that made her snicker

>”Really? That’s all I need to say?” Your bat asked as she giggled
>”Mhm!” The little Luna nodded “That’s all you need… now…” She sighed and turned to her sister “I think it is time to finish with our little trip, right, Celie?”
>”I suppose so…” The little Celestia arrogantly shrugged “I just hope that you guys can pull out the trick, I don’t wanna bother Discord with this”
>”Well…it won’t be easy, that’s for sure, but…” Twilight looked at the two alicorn sisters with a warm smile on her face “I can see that everypony here has made a new friend and learned something new, that fact fills me with the strength and confidence necessary to do anything, no matter how hard it might be”
>”That sounds lovely, your highness, but…” Moon Dancer gave Twilight an awkward smile “You really don’t have to do anything. Starlight and I can handle this”
>”Oh…” Twilight dropped her ears and looked away “Right… I guess… that I can excuse myself then… I have to see if there’s a spell that can get me rid of this ridiculous mane style and restore it back to how I like it”
”Or, you could get a leather vest, some spiked wristbands and be the most awesome princess ever! Come on, Twilight, who wouldn’t love to have the Princess of heavy metal- AGH!”
>You got interrupted by another bonk on your head, courtesy of the little Celestia
“What was that for?!”
>The little Celestia gave you a smirk “For being a dumb prince, of course!” She then looked at Starlight and Moon Dancer and shrugged “Now, ignoring my prince’s comments, I’m starting to get hungry, so what do ya say if we finally finish this?”
>The two mares... and the sexy purple princess nodded and quickly began to ready the spell. Meanwhile, Cherrywood and the little Luna were laughing together, trying to spook the other.

>When Starlight and Moon Dancer’s horns started to glow and a bright blue circle appeared beneath the two alicorn fillies, the little Celestia gave you a wink and a smile “Well, my prince, see you on the other side”
>The little Luna smiled too and said “Mr. Goggles Colt, thank you for everything, this was the most fun that I have had in a long time and Cherrywood… I am so happy that we are best friends now”
>The magical circle became brighter, engulfing the two fillies in its blue light. Even with your handy goggles, you had to cover your eyes for a moment which luckily wasn’t too long.
>When the spell died out and the light fade away… you saw your mothers… your real mothers standing right in front of you.
>Tears ran down your face as you galloped to them. The first one to hug you was your mom Celestia, who gently caressed your mane as she said with a tired voice “Well… that was quite the wild ride. But, I wasn't lying when I said that I was getting hungry, so, is anypony up for some homemade pancakes?”
