  1. [18:19] {NARRATION} Deep within a forest there had been rumors about an Axolotl. One with... unique properties. Those that hug it are granted eternal life and a vast fortune of riches. One that would last several generations.
  2.  
  3. And yet one must get reach it. A path at the beginning of the forest would lead deeper in where the trees blocks out most of the sun and yet there is light. Whispy, pale blue orbs of light trail the air, following the very path before them.
  4.  
  5. They were close, and yet so far away.
  6. [18:24] Oh.. that's right there were here for that smiling creatuer. The teen facepalmed himself. How could he have been so dense really. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Still after that outburst, he'd continue to move forward with his guild mates in silence. He wondered if they'd bump into something cool, spooky, or interesting. They were crossing realms after all. It should be something of an otherworldly experience really.

  8. The Chuuni would attempt to grasp one of the blue orbs of light in his hands though they seemed out of reach... What were they? How did it feel? Why was her wondering about stupid stuff?

  10. "Are we almost there yet?", Banri would ask something like an impatient child before adjusting his glasses.

  14. [18:24] Astrid would trudge through the Essharan forests, stretching her arms upward with a soft grunt before shifting lightblue hues up toward her companions.
  15.  
  16. "Getting pretty mystical the deeper we go isn't it? This place is almost like it's always twilight."
  17.  
  18. Her gaze rests on the nearby wisps, offering a reassuring grin.
  19.  
  20. "At least the path is lit! No chance of us losing sight of our goal anytime soon."
  21.  
  22. She'd state with an energetic nod. This was her first adventure after all! How often was it that someone like her could travel alongside a party of fully fledged magi? This was gonna be great!

  26. [18:24] The mission had been given to Revan by his brother, Hades, he had mentioned how they may have to travel to the Spirit Realm for such a task. However, getting to the spirit realm was a much more difficult feat than the bandaged teen anticipated.
  27.  
  28. There were only two methods of doing so: astral projection, and finding a rift. Seeing as how no one could project their soul into the realms, atleast amongst this group, Revan sought out a rift they could use.
  29.  
  30. However, during his research, asking around, and amongst the information brokers he paid, he heard of one last place that may contain an Axolotl. They were optimistic, yet cautious. Spotting the blue lights, Revan would squint, spotting the whisps of lights that would guide them.
  31.  
  32. Closing his eyes, Revan would attune himself to the mana around him, letting it serve as his sight for the time being as he lead the group forward.
  33.  
  34. "This.. Seems to be the way.. Stay on your toes.. And be wary.. This could very well be a trap." Though for the price he paid for the information, it better damn well not be.

  38. [18:25] Lilith would follow the group. Holding onto Fenes' hand for comfort, trying to calm down and make sense of what they were going to do. In fact, she forgot about what they were going to do in the first place. Only excited to come because of the prospect of adventure!
  39.  
  40. It has been four years since the guild was founded, and it was the first real adventure that they were going towards. Her heart would race, her lips would slowly curl into a smile, and as she saw the blue lights she would smile happily.
  41.  
  42. Tugging at both Fenes and Revan, she would giggle a bit to herself.
  43.  
  44. "This... This is our first adventure! I... I'm so excited!"

  50. [18:26] Well. Their First Job- their first adventure. Here it was, Fenes didn't know if she should feel excited right now or worried, considering the last spars she had. Hopefully this will be handled without the need for a huge ass fight- Get to the Axalotl, talk with it in some way without the need to fight, then get out. This forest was already looking to be more connected to the spirit realm- or at least that's what the Ookami thought, when they eyes wandered around the place to look at the Strange wisp- like orbs of light around. Going straight towards a path- one obscured by a heavy canope of trees.

  52. Her hand would stay by the side of her sword, The Jade-green eyes looking around, her beastkin senses staying focused. Her heart was beating fast- fear? excitement? She wasn't too sure. Either way, she was staying on her toes, a smile gracing her features as she looked towards everyone present.

  54. "Alright. For the Dragon's tooth, hm? Our first adventure, our first job. Let's make sure we come out victorious of this."
  55. (Fenes)

  58. [18:26] A long trek from Alabastre and Hans knew very little about the job they were here for. The guy didn't expect to come here on Orca's behalf and felt a little stupid for not preparing ahead though what's done is done. His padded hood covered his face as his armor jingled as he moved forward following Revan's lead quietly as he observed how others reacted.

  60. Hans perked up as Revan mentioned to stay on his toes, a little nervous he kept his gun close to himself as they entered the mystical place.
  61.  
  62. "I am assuming we don't have a map?"
  63.  
  64. It would be quite the adventure, though he could only wonder how to advance further.
  65. (Hans Hohenstein)

  68. [18:33] {NARRATION} The path would lead them deeper into the forest. Eventually the entrance would fade out of sight, almost as if it vanished out of thin air. The atmosphere would change as the humidity increased.

  70. And yet something could be heard.
  71.  
  72. Badump - Badump - Badump -
  73.  
  74. In front of them trees would fall and the noise would get louder and louder and then it would appear.
  75.  
  76. A lizard with red skin. It would look at the group and smile. It's eyes spun wildly as if it was excited to see them, and so it would charge forward, running as fast as it could.
  77.  
  78. "Kee-keey-kkkeeeeeeee!"
  79. [18:37] "Is that.. a heart?", Banri flinched igniting his body in plasma magic. The ruby gem on the top of his staff would glow crimson as the flower on his chestplate began to burn just as his aura did. Were they in danger of facing something big this soon already? It couldn't be... Serpentine eyes would around to find the entrance gone.. Something did indeed happen just now, and it seemed like they didn't really have much of an escape option either.

  81. Then he saw it.. The smiling creature he only saw in pictures, but seeing it this big was kind of creepy and unreal... He'd stare before seeing its eyes spin wildly. It.. It was charging right at them!!!
  82.  
  83. "I thought you said we can bargain with it!!", the Chuuni would exlaim looking to the Task for a moment before shooting at the beast with explosive plasma magic blasts.
  84. (Banri Chuuni)

  87. [18:37] Lilith's first thought was to pet it, but realizing where they are and thinking about it a little more she would realize that was a terrible idea. Instead, she would hide behind Revan and Fenes, two people who seem to know what to do in this situation.
  88.  
  89. She then prepare her staff, ready to see if the creature would attack. Yet looking at the rest of the group to see their reactions.
  90.  
  91. "Attack? Or pet? Can this thing even hurt us?"
  92.  
  93. A multitude of questions would escape her. She would calm down, trying to breathe once more. Trying to collect her thoughts all while ready to defend herself.

  97. [18:38] "Uh.."
  98.  
  99. That's all it came out from Hans as looked back noticed the entrance disappear.
  100.  
  101. Something is off..
  102.  
  103. Before he would say something he could hear something loud in the distance and it was getting louder as it approached soon revealing itself to be a red lizard. All the traversing in the caves, he has yet to encounter something like this. Hans would grip his rifle tightly not trying to do anything stupid as he stood still though it's smile looking at them didn't give him any comfort.

  105. "Uh... guys... what will we do now?"
  106.  
  107. He asked as if his brain wasn't working right now.

  111. [18:39] Having taken point, he would feel the malicious intent of something that was soon paired with the crashing of trees.
  112.  
  113. "LOOK ALIVE."
  114.  
  115. Revan would shout, immediately dipping into his stance as he held his hands aloft. Opening his eyes, he would look at the creature itself- was it intelligent? It was hard to tell by it's cackle and how it grinned at them.
  116.  
  117. "Banri- Hans, provide artillery between assualts. Fenes, Lilly, take first round, lay on some heavy poison and sedatives. Astrid, you're with me, and we'll attack his extremities- let's see if we can't get some answers from him."
  118.  
  119. Revan would begin barking orders in the heat of battle, leaping into the tree tops to begin spreading their forces out and attempting to distract it.
  120. (Revan Task)

  123. [18:39] An arm comes up to wipe the sweat from her brow. A long exhale is made at the sudden change in humidity.
  124.  
  125. "Phew... It's getting pretty stuffy don't you guys thi-"
  126.  
  127. She'd stop mid sentence as the sounds of falling trees seems to come closer and closer. The girl now entering a half stance... Low and behold, A red lizard would pop out from behind the underbrush, barreling toward them now as it screeched like a bat out of hell.

  129. "Ah~ it's SO CUTE!"
  130.  
  131. Astrid would run forward and hold her ground!
  132.  
  133. "Come on then!"
  134. (Astrid)

  137. [18:39] The Ookami might have heard the sound First due to her senses- Or Maybe Revan, due to his training? either way she'd stop in her tracks for the moment.
  138.  
  139. "Wait- you hear that?", she'd whisper, before the sound would grow louder and louder. The hand would grasp on the hilt of the blade, the air around her already starting to get a bit more... toxic. She'd gulp, Eyes looking towards the sound- a hand to her side to be ready to push someone out of the way if need be.
  140.  
  141. Trees falling- Fenes would be ready to jump to the side and bring someone with her if need be.
  142.  
  143. Then the sight of the lizard.. Charging right towards them. And some already getting ready to fight- or attacking already.
  144. "Well shit."
  145.  
  146. She'd jump to the side as soon as she saw That lizard charging towards them- drawing her blade- well, Time to kill one oversized scaly boy.
  147. (Fenes)

  150. [18:42] {NARRATION} The lizard would continue running and then -
  151.  
  152. Jump!
  153.  
  154. Oof!
  155.  
  156. Roll!
  157.  
  158. It was on it's back wagging its tail as it stared at the group, it's tongue came out and it continued to roll it's eyes playfully!
  159.  
  160. And yet... they chose to attack it...
  161.  
  162. Pure rage
  163.  
  164. Fire would shoot out of it's eyes and it would get back on it's all fours. It's mouth would open and magma would be shot out right towards the group. It's playtime had been ruined by these people.
  165. [18:53] Fenes says, "FORGOT"
  166. [18:56] {Won Dangerous RPB against Retro DM 2.0}
  167. [18:56] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  168. [19:04] And so they were off! As the flaming lizard made it's charge, all manner of magic and element was dispersed. The clash between the two parties effectively tearing it's way through the thicket trees.

  170. That being said, Astrid would not be one of those elements... The magicless girl would have a wild grin as she launched her attacks with nothing but pure MUSCLE. Swordstrikes would quickly transition into punches and jabs. The girl's mastery over her unique fighting style now making itself apparent in the chaos of battle.

  172. Sure, it was no easy feat... But as she ducked and weaved through the searing plasma, Burning flames, cutting winds, and poisonous gas? It would be none other than her who would deal the final hit. The Muscle girl now rushing the Lizard and grabbing hold of it with both of her beefy arms in a bear hug!

  174. "Heel boy! Heel!!"
  175.  
  176. She'd grunt before effectively lifting way over her head and body slamming it into the ground in a German suplex! it wouldn't kill it, but it was DEFINITELY enough to make it chill out!

  180. [19:10] Everyone seemed somewhat in synch. How lovely. The Chuuni didn't need to worry about burning his allies as he quite literally fought fight with fire while rushing across the area. Everyone scattered and charged at it repeatedly with their magic and blades at varying distances. The guild.. kind of made something of a kick ass team.

  182. The fight ended with a monsterous feat of strength from Astrid..
  183.  
  184. "Seriously.. you're terrifying sometimes, Astrid.", the teen would note dusting themselves off and placing their hands in their pockets, "So.. we just have to take this thing's legs then right and head back?"
  185.  
  186.  
  187. This journey seems a lot shorter than I expected.", the boy said rather naively.
  188. (Banri Chuuni)

  191. [19:11] One of them attacked it? This is not how Hans wanted to face his first adventure. It was reckless but he had to follow their lead otherwise it was over.
  192.  
  193. Turning off his rifles safety he would begin to take pot shots at the beast's, what he assumed, his vital organs hoping to slow him down at the same time sniping it with his magic hard enough that the beast wouldn't be able to recover.
  194.  
  195. The battlefield was chaotic so he followed the leads of everyone else letting his instinct do the fighting thinking too much would lead to injuries.
  196.  
  197. As Astrid dealt the final hit taking it down but not kill it, Han's legs gave out falling flat on his butt on the floor.
  198.  
  199. "How about we access the danger the next time we pick a fight."
  200.  
  201. It went well but Hans seems to be the type of person who preferred not to fight his way out of every situation.
  202. (Hans Hohenstein)

  205. [19:11] ...the Lizard only wanted to play. If only they didn't immediately go in a battle stance.- or rather, if only Banri didn't immediately shoot it then maybe they could've gone by without a fight.
  206.  
  207. Flames- magma, scorching heat- This Lizard truly was a pain to deal with. Poison would be thrown from afar, and The OOkami would rarely dash in to slash at it, because of the scorching heat- she'd do what she could from afar, sometimes using blood magic to try to heal herself.
  208.  
  209. AStrid would do the final hit- not really killing the creature but apparently … knocking it out? Huffing and puffing, Fenes would groan, sword still in hand, looking at Revan- realizing he only took a defensive stance really, but focusing on Banri.
  210.  
  211. "Okay... So... Don'0t... IMMEDIATELLY shoot things we don't know, get ready to fight if need be, yes, but no.. immediate shooting. This was pretty much just a … scaly dog.."
  212. (Fenes)

  215. [19:12] Fenes says, "Also... Not.. the axalot...axalotlt... The thing. Looks a lot different than what we saw..."
  216. [19:12] Astrid exclaims, "I learned that move from Revan! Fufufu~!"
  217. [19:12] Lilith's heart would slump as she saw Banri attack the adorable lizard, seeing it already angry and ready to attack. She would use her abilities, wind to slow it down for her friends to attack, and poison to make it blind and to slowly kill it from the inside.
  218.  
  219. She thought she was getting the hang of it. Happy to finally get some real battle experience. She would look around, enjoying how everyone is working together, only to have a splash of lava hit her arm.
  220.  
  221. "ARGHHHHH!"
  222.  
  223. It would burn, it hurt so much. Taking out the lax essence she would immediately use it to relieve her pain. A mistake on her part, for the journey was only beginning.
  224.  
  225. After soothing the burns, a runic snake on her body would slither up to her burned arm. A green glow would emit from it, contracting and tightening. It let the pain face even more, making it easier for her to move once more.
  226.  
  227. "Great... Job... Astrid"
  228.  
  229. She would take a deep breath and examine the others.
  230. (Lilith Allison)

  233. [19:16] The way it rolled onto it's back, that playful look in his eyes. He'd glance to Astrid, Lilith, the two who wanted to pet it.
  234.  
  235. Oh no.. Did I jump the gun on this one?
  236.  
  237. Though it was hard to turn back once Banri started blasting, it's fiery anger unleashed, Revan would proceed with his plan to pacify it. Charging seeds with his own mana, he would blast it, vines, flowers, and bushes ground around it, trying to trap it in it's foliage.
  238.  
  239. Once enough brush and cover would be provided, Revan would descend from the trees, joining Astrid in the assault. Closing his eyes, he would feel the push and pull of all the explosive and toxic mana around him, the inferno that came from the lizard itself.
  240.  
  241. Revan would be ducking and weaving, finding the circuitry of the beast and pummeling it with fist and foot, overloading it's key points with his own raw magic and weakening his flames. It would be just enough for Astrid to subdue it, for extra measure, Revan would dig his hands into the soil, and cines would rupture out, immobilizing it to the ground.

  243. "Someone get this thing some pats- It's not our objective.. Banri.. But it might know... Can you speak? We are.. Sorry for attacking.." For a moment, he would feel like an idiot trying to commune with the lizard, but he had to atleast try.

  247. [19:18] Banri Chuuni whispers something.
  248. [19:18] Lilith Allison says, "Why is something so cute so... Dangerous..."
  249. [19:19] Revan Task says, "I could ask the same thing of you."
  250. [19:19] Astrid says, "ooh~"
  251. [19:19] Fenes says, "...Nice."
  252. [19:19] Lilith Allison says, ". . ."
  253. [19:19] Lilith would just blush in silence, still grimacing over her arm

  257. [19:19] Banri Chuuni says, "Smooth."
  258. [19:20] Banri Chuuni says, "You even got my heart beating faster, Revan."
  259. [19:20] Astrid would still having this thing locked in a bearhug. Cuddles... yes...

  263. [19:20] Revan Task asks, ".. Do you need me to take a look at that.. Lilly?"
  264. [19:20] Banri Chuuni asks, "I don't know if I'm more worried about the monster or Astrid being so close to it?"
  265. [19:21] Fenes says, "...Let's hold on our Energy for now Revan."
  266. [19:21] Fenes says, "I got two elixirs with me anyway-"
  267. [19:22] Lilith Allison says, "I think... I might want to use Aunt Sara's skin trick..."
  268. [19:22] Fenes asks, "...What?"
  269. [19:22] Revan Task asks, "... Maybe not right now?"
  270. [19:22] Banri Chuuni asks, "A centipede?"
  271. [19:22] Lilith would look at her rubbery and burnt arm
  272. (Lilith Allison)

  275. [19:22] Fenes says, "Wait Saranta? I don't want to know. Don't do it."
  276. [19:22] Lilith Allison says, "I'll... Do it later"
  277. [19:23] {NARRATION} The Lizard would be taken down with a mighty German Suplex!

  279. It would be an intense fight from everyone involved. Lilith would be burnt from her arms, injuring her greatly but fire, energy, and pure brute strength would eventually lead to Astrid's mighty blow, and in the midsts of the fight something would drop from it.
  280.  
  281. Yet while on the ground it would struggle. It's tail wiggled about before finally getting to what it wanted, Astrid's face. With a mighty blow it would slap her across the face, knocking her into a nearby tree all while the lizard ran away.
  282. Yet not before shrieking.
  283.  
  284. "KKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEEKKEEK!"
  285. [19:26] Astrid says, "Bleh"
  286. [19:26] Revan Task says, "... Well.. I suppose we should.. Press forward.."
  287. [19:27] Fenes says, "...You okay AStrid? use that lax for now..."
  288. [19:27] Lilith Allison says, "Yeah..."
  289. [19:27] Revan Task asks, "Do you need a lax essence, Astrid?"
  290. [19:27] Fenes asks, "What did it drop...?"
  291. [19:27] Lilith Allison says, "Lets..."
  292. [19:27] Banri Chuuni says, "That's what I was worried about."
  293. [19:28] Astrid says, "Ow~"
  294. [19:28] Fenes says, "I have elixirs for you two if you get hurt again."
  295. [19:30] Banri handed Astrid his Dragon tooth pendant after noticing she had little to no protection and probably would get slapped again from her naive carelessness.
  296.  
  297. "Here.. Wear this and be careful next time. You shouldn't be in range of a monster like that for long even if they seem to be defeated.", he'd lecture her.
  298. (Banri Chuuni)

  301. [19:31] Fenes says, "...This thing's hot. take it Ban."
  302. [19:31] Revan Task asks, "... is there someone.. Who needs armor?"
  303. [19:31] Revan Task says, "I have.. My old mithril set."
  304. [19:32] Astrid exclaims, "I still have leather armor!"
  305. [19:32] Fenes asks, "-you what?"
  306. [19:32] Hans Hohenstein says, "I can't use it at the moment, so not right now"
  307. [19:32] Astrid exclaims, "Leather!"
  308. [19:32] Fenes says, "Give her the mythril."
  309. [19:32] Astrid exclaims, "Armor!"
  310. [19:32] Fenes says, "Now."
  311. [19:33] Atrid would have a rather airy grin on her features as Banri handed her the amulet.

  313. "Thanks Ban~"
  314.  
  315. She'd pat the dust and twigs from her shoulder before offering a thumbs up! Though the slap imprint was very much still evident on her cheek.

  318. (Astrid)

  321. [19:33] {NARRATION} With the fire lizard gone, the path would open up again. Yet the wispy blue flashes of light would surround them. Their color changing from blue, to a slightly orange tint.
  322.  
  323. Yet as the group progressed furthur into the distance, something would come into view.
  324.  
  325. A temple.
  326. [19:33] Banri stared at the hot core before pocketing it.. Something about it called out to him, but he didn't know what about it did so... The Slamander was a fire wielding creature though and the others complained about it being hot... so maybe there was something to be tapped into.
  327. (Banri Chuuni)

  330. [19:33] Astrid exclaims, "Let's keep pushing!"
  331. [19:36] He found it comical as the Lizard slapped Astrid towards the tree but knowing might've hurt he decided to hold in on that specially since they weren't out of danger yet.
  332.  
  333. Hans would progress with the group to the uncharted territory as they approach the temple.
  334.  
  335. "So Revan, remind me again what artifact we are here for I don't really know what we are searching for other than it's name."
  336.  
  337. He asked, a curious question specially he can't shake off the fish out of the barrel feeling as they walked through the forest.

  341. [19:37] As they pushed forward, Astrid would march on still in good spirits! Sure, the pain on her cheek was KILLER! but if she could still walk and fight, she figured it was all ok.
  342.  
  343. Eyes soon set themselves upon the Temple before them, a slight whistle escaping the muscle girl now as she glanced to her companions.
  344.  
  345. "Beautiful! it's hard to believe this place was abandoned you know?"
  346.  
  347. At least... She hoped it was abandoned aside from the Axlotl...
  348. (Astrid)

  351. [19:37] Fenes would look at the wisps around them... And a frown would come over her face. maybe they angered them. She took a deep breath- and would try to do something before pressing on towards the temple.
  352.  
  353. "We are.. sorry about what you have seen here, about this display of violence. We have gotten confused, And My friend in particular here thought it was going to attack us and opened fire- literal fire- first. I am sorry you had to see this, and I hope.. this kind of violence shall not be needed again."
  354.  
  355. Well, if those wisps were some messengers, at least she tried to pass a message. nodding towards the others- and the two injured, with a worried look on her face, she'd stretch and start walking, sheathing her blade and keeping a good look around- ground, walls, Ceiling. If that was a temple, there might be some strange things in there... Maybe Revan could figure something out with his training...?

  357. "Keep a close eye on the wisps too.. They might not. .feel friendly anymore.", she sighed out, jade eyes looking towards the temple again.
  358. "And let's hope we can talk, in the future, Alright?"
  359. (Fenes)

  362. [19:37] Lilith would concentrate on other things as her runic serpent would allow her to feel less of the pain. As she continued with the group, she would notice the lights changing into an orange tint. A weird change, but it was the spirit realm right?

  364. Regardless, she would soon spot a temple with the others. Her eyes would start to glow once more as she looked towards it, wondering about its culture, reason for being there, and the treasures inside. A smile would slowly form back on her face as she looked towards the others.

  368. Her heart would start to slow, her breathing would start to calm. It was so fun to be out somewhere else.

  372. [19:42] Revan would note how the colors of the lights would change from blue to orange- Was this a warning? Had they angered whatever conjured the whisps that would guide them to the temple?

  374. "Okay.. let's.. Cool our heads for a moment.. Banri- no blasting until we know we're under attack. Stay on your toes, and be ready to dodge."

  376. As they'd begin approaching the temple, Revan would take note of the architecture, the surrounding environment, and anyone who might be posted around it.

  378. "We're.. Looking for an Axolotl.. It's said to bring good fortune wherever it goes.. And it tends to have Luminite and Clovers grow around it.. Wherever it says... We're here for that.. And.. If we can get a leg from it.. Either by bargaining or.. Some other means.. Then we'll try."

  380. As he heard Fenes apologize to the whisps, Revan would remember something, the spirits thirst for blood. To pay for their attack on those that dwelled in the forest, Revan would reach for a scalpel and cut his palm, letting it soak into the soil.

  382. "Again.. We are sorry for our attack.. We do come with.. Only the best intentions.." And with that, he would rebandage his hand, heading for the temple.

  386. [19:49] {NARRATION} The wisps would turn from orange, to yellow.

  388. Yet something was different as they would continue to push forward. More wisps gathered and stared at them and with each and everyone that came closer it would feel like they were being watched ever so closely.

  390. And then - the temple would lie right in front of them.
  391.  
  392. The same red lizard they just fought was looking at another.

  396. And then another lizard would appear, with jet black scales and a tongue that kept flickering like a snake it would look at the red lizard, and then, towards the group.

  400. It's eyes would change as the red lizard ran away. It's mouth would open and a large amount of occultic energy would begin to form. It's anger could clearly be told, it's mana rippled throughout the surrounding area and it would blast the group with all it's might.
  401. [19:51] A familiar face... arms now fold as the two lizards seem to... converse? And as the one with black scales makes it's way down from it's perch, Astrid would start to sweat slightly.

  403. "Oh boy. looks like we were just told on... SCATTER!"

  405. The muscle girl would launch herself away, ready for battle as the occult mana rippled toward them.

  409. [19:52] Lilith would look at the wisps with a worried look. How their colour would change, how they would watch them. It was a weird thought, were the wisps communicating with the Axolotl? She would then shake her head to clear her thoughts.

  411. As they arrived at the temple, she would from as she saw the red lizard, talking to a black lizard. Already knowing what is about to happen, she would prepare her staff and use the winds to move her to a safer position.

  415. Those would be her words as she tensed up, not wanting to get another injury again.

  419. [19:54] "Anyone else got a bad feeling about them?.. They're starting to blind me with their light now...", the Chuuni griped raising a hand to cover his face a bit, "Can I blast them all away, or should we wait until we're attacked first?"

  421. Beofre an answwer sould be heard, they'd arrive at the temple. The clicking and growing crowd of lizards was more than a bit offputting.

  423. "Order or not.. I'm killing that o.-", the boy said at the sight of the occultic lizard leaking energy. He wouldn't even give it the chance to strike first. At least that's what he thought before being interrupted mid sentence and being fired at. Oh shit. Oh fuck. Oh shit. Oh fuck.

  425. Banri would be forced to dodge first and then find his footing before readying himself to strike, "You can hate me later! We have more killing to do..."

  431. He blurted out loud as he readies his rifle. The moment the creature brought out his occultic aura he knew he was in way over his head. The moment Astrid shouted scatter Hans would dash back, rifle ready.

  435. Yet he stood his ground not firing until attacked upon. He knew the first encounter was a mistake and now the problems are just stacking up. He could only wonder if these lizards are the guardian of the temple.

  441. [19:57] Revan would blink as the whisps changed in color- where they truly spirits? It was the only thing he could think of as he felt thousands of eyes on him. He would carry himself taller, trying to walk with confidence as they approached-

  443. Oh no, Revan could only come to the same conclusion as Astrid. As the surge of occultic mana surged out, Revan would dig his heels into the dirt, using his own mana round him to disrupt it's flow and remain where he stood.

  445. A potential fight.. But we should try and turn this around.

  447. He knew arguing with those that harnessed the darkness would be difficult.. but perhaps an offering could be made. "No one- Do anything."

  449. Revan would command, quickly reaching into his pack for a thermos and a cup, he would pour some hot tea he prepared for the road.

  451. "Hey there big guy- This is.. All a terrible misunderstand! We can explain over a cup of tea?" He'd say, slowly approaching with the cup in hand.

  457. her hand would stay on the hilt of her blade, The occultic mana would make her snarl for a moment, but she took a deep breath and even then would try to stay as calm as she possibly could- she was nimble enough to jump to the side if a fight was to break out- which pointed immensely towards it- but she still would lift one hand up, a sign of.. apology, perhaps.

  459. "We are sorry about the.... attack. We only wish to pa-" nope, the occult mana was really starting to gather now, She'd already start to move away sighing out, her eyes looking towards Banri.

  463. "-We are sorry, only wish to pass.. Please- We can avoid further conflict, We can all stop this." she'd give a nod, looking towards the others as they were scattering. She was ready to jumpout of the way and fight if need be, but still tried to talk.

  467. "Are You... kidding me, Banri…", she'd say, gritting her teeth. he was just bent on killing already then? Well, good thing she stopped whatever relation they had then.

  469. Her Jade eyes would look back towards the lizard, then To Revan, a hand still on her hip- she was watching him just... approach the creature like that. Don't facepalm, Fenes.. just watch it happen, and pull him out of way of an attack if need be...

[20:00] Seeing Revan try to talk to the lizard now, Her eyes would Dart towards Banri And stay near him- Trying to smile at the creature, a warm, comforting smile, her head turning towards Banri and scowling at him. "No.. aggressive behaviors... alright?" her head would turn back towards the lizard with a smile- as comforting, reassuring as she could.

  483. [20:05] {NARRATION} The lizard would begin to walk towards the group. It's tongue would flicker in and out of it's mouth. A green ooze would begin to leak out of it's mouth, the ground corroding where it dropped.

  485. It's mana would still begin to press out towards the group. Pushing agaisnt them and then it's eyes would quickly shift towards Banri and it's maw would open.

  489. And yet... it would continue to walk before appearing right in front of the Thermos. It's eyes would shift down and it's tongue would go to drink.
  490. [20:08] Skkk back at you bastard.. Banri thought to himself with a frown still present on his visage though he'd say nothing more letting his aura down as his arms folded over his chest.

  494. [20:08] Lilith would look at Revan with a dumbfounded expression. Who would have known that this serious and cautious person, would suddenly offer this clearly dangerous animal spirit thing TEA?

  496. She would just watch, ready to instantly use the air around Revan to pull him away if the lizard attacks. Her staff ready on hand, prepared for another terrible encounter.

  502. [20:09] And so the lizard drank. Hans had hoped Revan has a plan as the lizard consumed the tea he realized Revan was now truly trying to negotiate with the Lizard. He could only assume what will happen next. If the Lizard was unsatisfied things will turn ugly.

  504. Hans would look towards Banri, who seemed to in a foul mood.

  506. "You should calm down a bit Banri, we can't fight everything we see..."

  508. He had hoped voice of reason would help Banri to calm down.

  516. Those words were mumbled, eyes looking towards Revan still, but staying cautious- over Banri and... the lizard itself really. Hopefully it'll be fine.

  534. Revan would continue to speak, quickly putting the magibane away and pouring more tea if the black lizard wished for more.

  536. "We're.. Very sorry.. I know you are probably just protecting the Axolotl inside.. We just wish to speak with him, and collect some herbs.. We know that his kind have been hunted to near extinction.. We come from.. Dangerous lands.. It was.. A knee jerk reaction when we were charged."

  538. Revan would turn to Banri, shooting him a glare a parent would give their child when they were in trouble.

  540. "And we are ALL. VERY. SORRY. For how we introduced ourselves."

  544. [20:15] {NARRATION} It's sharp eyes would quickly flicker between all of them. Yet the lizard didn't want anymore tea. The mana it was pushing out would lessen ever so slightly but it would continue to walk.

  548. More green ooze would drip to the ground, melting away at the dirt present. The words everyone had said would be heard but the lizard only cared about one person.

  554. It's maw would open as it spoke. The lizard would be right in front of him, stareing, watching, waiting. The more it waited the wider his mouth would get, all of it's teeth and acidic saliva would clearly be seen.

  557. [20:15] Fenes whispers something.
  558. [20:20] Banri stood still. His arms still folded across his chest and his frown still present as if he was waiting for something despite his guard being seemingly down as visualized by his lack of aura. That noise the lizard kept making was growing more and more annoying.

  560. Brown serpentine irises watched as the monster got closer to them. They seemed fixated on the Chuuni just as much as he was on them. It was like the two were the only ones in this room for a moment. Everything else fading away at least in Banri's perspective. His eyes paid attention to every little detail.

It was clear that Banri felt uncomfortable this close up and personal not only with an unfamilair potential threat but this close to occultic magic really trigger his rage... his fight or flight. His body starting to tense up more and more the two stayed staring at one another like this.

  568. The lizard would begin to back off as it looked towards the group of people. Staring. The aura around the lizard would begin to lessen although it was still present.

  574. And so, the lizard would lay down, blocking the way in.
  575. [20:27] Astrid would visibly let out a relieved breath as the lizard backed off. Though, all things considered? It appeared that the way was blocked for them now...

  581. The muscle girl would ponder before looking around. Was there a different way in?

  585. [20:28] Banri's body slackened a bit as the lizard simmered down and moved to the entrance.. They had gotten off on the wrong foot supposedly, but if it was going to keep getting in their way then they might just have to kill it anywyas.

  587. The Chuuni would place their hand in their pockets.. The core feeling warm to the touch but a bit less so than when it was first extracted. Would the monster be mad if he flaunted this jewel, or would it be scared and flee. Flight or fight was a natural animalistic response, so if it recognized the core then it'd be one or the other.

  589. Brown serpentine irises never left the lizard as he'd think of many way to kill the beast if it came down to it. "How are you going to negotiate with it.. It doesn't seem to speak common.", the Mage would ask aloud.

  593. [20:28] Hans watched as the Lizard examined Banri then went back to sitting right in front of the temple. If it wasn't a clear sign that it's a guardian nothing says so but if it's sitting in front the castle he could only assume it means they are not allowed to pass.

  595. "There is no clear sign we are allowed to enter even though I sense it wants to test us before entering?"

  597. It was a stupid assumption but it was possible.

Still, she would give a small bow, hands now up, although her natural born agility would still help her out should she need it.

  607. "We only ask to pass." she'd wave a hand towards the entrance the lizard was blocking. "We do not wish to harm anything anymore. Really- we are hoping to leave with a great amount of herbs and a way to keep a constant.. source, if you will."

  609. She'd take a deep breath. Growing a bit nervous. "If there is anything to be hidden in there, we won't tell of its location."

  611. She'd give a nod towards the other, gulping as she tried to keep talking.

  613. "I can tell you I won't say anything about this place.. We only want a.. source of sorts. And acquire it as peacefuly as.. possible.."

  617. [20:30] Well... At least the group didn't have to fight, but now they had to figure out how to pass through the lizard without angering it. With one problem fixed, another appears.

  619. She would look to the others, looking at the material of the temple. Could there be another way in? Or can they just break their way in? Her burnt arm would distract her thinking as she looked to the others for their thoughts.

  621. "Well... Guess we're back to step one huh? Any good idea's?"

  623. Maybe the wisps would give them help. But already having a history of attacking animals... Well, she didn't think they would be of help much.

  632. [20:32] Pressing his lips into a thin line, he wasn't sure how to feel about the exchange that had just happened. Atleast they were able to avoid another confrontation, however, now their path was blocked.

  636. "We could.. Split up and try to find.. Another way in.. But.. That would weaken us greatly.. I think we should take the time to circle the perimeter as a group."

  638. Revan would rub his chin, taking in the feedback of those he was with. "It's.. Hard to tell.. They clearly don't speak common.. But they do possess intelligence.. He wouldn't fall asleep if he wanted to test us.. So he must.. Simply not want us entering.."

  640. Closing his eyes, Revan would once again tap into the surrounding energies to get a map of the nearby area.. Any windows, openings, other entrances into the temple.

  642. ".. I suppose you all don't think cuddling with it will work?" He'd ask, looking to Lilly, Astrid, and Fenes, who would probably have done so with the first Lizard.

  681. Soon enough she'd follow with a running start. The brute force from her steps now making a similar sounding Ba-Bump Ba-Bump before following with a Jump, a soft oof, and roll forward. She'd stick her tongue out too!

  731. The Task didn't have time to sigh, he could feel the mana being pulled into it's mouth, that corrosive spit that dripped from it. Energy coursing through his veins and the air around him, he would find himself instantly below it's maw, crouched and primed for an uppercut.

  733. Sending it straight into the air for his comrades to blast away at it, it would land with much more ferocity. It was a chaotic mess as it fired a ray of destruction, trees surrounding the temple would be leveled, and one by one, so would his allies.
  734.  
  735. Revan would find himself leaping over each beam, constantly having to run circles around it as he slid beneath his tail, constantly throwing his boot into the side of the Liard's head to buy them just one moment of reprieve.
  736.  
  737. Assessing the field, it seemed he was keeping his word to Lilly, his strikes would stun and daze the lizard just as he was about to strike at her. Slowly more and more of Revan's mana would disrupt the black beasts, and Revan would fin him gripping the lizard by the tail.

  739. Slinging him over his head a few times, he would hear cracks and crunches as he bludgeoned the Lizard across the ground before starting to spin him, faster and faster until he let go- sending the lizard flying over the trees, and back into the forest.

  745. [21:15] Damn it damn it damn it. Banri felt nothing but pain after that beam. It burned and stung, but he didn't seem physically hurt at all once he got up. He knew something was wrong though perhaps as he blacked out for quite some time.

  747. He dreamed of all his fears and greatest regrets. The Chuuni almost broke into tears before he realized he was in the company of others. "Not here..", Banri would murmur to himself before climbing back to his feet.

Let's just take what we want and get the fuck out of here!!", he sounded angry, "How many times does Astrid have to get slapped for us to realize we can't hug and cuddle thesae animals. We kill them.   753. [21:17] What Astrid did was mimic the red lizard and he knew immediately that wasn't a good idea since they had a pretty decent idea what it said. And so it started the occult lizard would get back up as it attacked them all.

  755. Has tried all he could to avoid the corrosive spit but soon he realized the lizard was homing on him he tried to cripple the beast to a crawl with his magic amplified bullets and before long he was down, followed by Ban and then finished.

  757. Considering the lizard blew the wind out of him made him take some time to recover and soon he would get up only to realize Astrid got injured yet again along with banri. Hans on the other hand was remained unscratched. Well just superficial injuries.

  761. He asked out of reflex even though Revan had asked it already. He would then look around to see what happened to the lizard. He hoped they would escape and allow them to enter the temple now.

  765. [21:18] As the battle would being, Lilith would immediately use her air magic in order to slow down the creature, letting everyone around it attack. Her wafts of poison, the flurry of air, it would all be able to slow down her opponent so that her friends could attack it.

  767. Looking around, she would notice her friends going down one by one, her face would start to show worry before Revan would blast it with energy.

  769. "Is everyone okay?"

  771. She would look at everyone, wanting to see if anyone was hurt too badly. Hopefully long fights like that wouldn't happen anymore...

  775. [21:21] The battle commenced! Once again the party would find themselves locked in a ferocious battle. Astrid would stay light on her feet, once again using trained muscle memory and brute force to dance through the corrosive acid and beams of occultic energy.

  777. She'd last a long while, throwing devastating jabs and lariats between the piercing lines of energy and plasma. Though before she could attempt to dash away, jagged claws would find themselves ripping across her torso.

  779. The girl falling on her back with an agonizing shout. She'd grimace as the occultic rot seeped into her wounds.

  781. Breath. Just breath. Don't think about it... What doesn't hurt doesn't hurt!

  783. But despite the thoughts, all she could manage was a pained groan before spotting revan landing the final blow. Air would hiss out of her teeth as she got to her feet. Man... Has she ever lost this much blood before?

  791. [21:22] Ouch... Just... Ouch. This fight was long and hurt like hell.

  793. She would be much more active in this fight at least- there was no fire to prevent her from rushing in and attacking with her blade at least- she was much more active in the melee of this fight. Which is... excellent.

  795. Even then, the fight against this was long. And most of the fighters here would fall down on the ground, Revan finishing the job along with Lilith- Luckily enough Fenes wasn't injures..

  797. Asrid though? A frown would appear on the Ookami's face, she rummaged through her bag to pick an Elixir and hand it over to Asrid- even helping her drink it.

  799. After doing so She would immediately walk towards Banri- slapping him and staring at him for a moment. "You're an idiot. The exact same thing would've happened if we attacked it at the beginning. we were trying to avoid this. it failed. You got your fight, and this is what happened."

  801. Her attentionwould quickly shift to the situation present. A hand still on her blade as she took a deep breath then exhaled- they had to continue.

  835. [21:29] {NARRATION} The occultic lizard would be defeated. As all of them engaged beams of occultic energy would be released, it's acid spewed all over them burning them. It was an intense fight, yet it was one they would win.

  837. Revan would be the one to defeated him as he grabbed it's tail and spun it around, flinging it into the nearby trees.

  839. The lizard would land on the top of one, it was impaled, suffering even...

  845. The lizard would slowly begin to disipate and something would fall onto the ground, signifying that the way into the temple was now clear.

  857. [21:32] Hans was now surprised that the Lizard would suddenly disappear dropping something that Lilith picked up and wrapped it in bandages.

  861. He would state before silently following everyone. There was no way he was taking the lead on this and he could only imagine the dangers awaiting them inside the temple, not to mention traps.

  876. As the group would enter the doors would shut behind them, immeditatly. There was no escape from this area. They were trapped in here for now yet something was... different.

  878. In the middle of the room there was something swirling. One could see through it ever so slightly and... grass... would appear, yet, no... it was ever constantly changing.

  880. From this, a strange energy would be emitted, something similar to what the occultic lizard was eminating but not quite the same.

  882. Although, there were two other rooms. One to the left, and one to the right.
  883. [21:37] Fenes whispers: ...Yes. fine.

  886. [21:39] Banri just idly glared at the core while rubbing his cheek where Fenes slapped him.

  890. [21:40] Glancing between the two pathways and to the strange occult energy swirling in the center of the room. A grin follows, offering a rather energetic nod.

  901. [21:41] And so they entered. Hans would look around to see if there was anything noticeable other than the obvious occult swirling in front of them and the two.

  903. What was he searching for? Well something to tell them or give them a clue. He didn't like the idea of splitting up and was hoping none would advice such as they didn't have enough medics to help if they split up.

  905. "Left, right either could be a trap..."

  907. He would state making everyone aware that now they were in the danger zone.

  911. [21:41] Lilith would sigh as the founders would whisper amongst themselves. It put a damper on her mood, and she just wanted to get the quest over with quickly. She would take Fenes' hand, squeezing it as she looked to the others.

  915. She would then look at the swirling energy, assuming that this energy must have been coming from the Axolotl. She didn't need to explore the temple, not with tensions this high at least.

  917. "It's the only place we can see, and if there is grass then herbs must be growing nearby as well right?"

  921. [21:41] The Jade eyes would look towards the energy, then to the different rooms. She would scratch her chin, not sure what to make of it. They were trapped here as the doors had closed... But what exactly where they going to be doing here? She didn't know what to make of that energy in the middle, or the rooms.

  923. "I'd rather we not split up, but this seems to lean that way... What's the thing in the middle, seems... water and grass?"

  925. She would step slightly forward, eyes looking up- down- left- right, trying to see any danger.

  927. "This thing is weird, but.. REvan… you able to see anything in this...?"

  929. her eyes would squint towards the two other rooms, trying to see through the darkness.

  931. "DOn't really like how this is going so far..."

  940. [21:43] Looking behind him as the doors shut to lock them in, he would huff. No way out, suppose they should press on. The swirling mass would capture his intrigue, the grass and other elements that would change beneath it would be met with his prying eyes.

  942. "Maybe if I can just.. Peer into it.."

  944. Mana showed what the eyes could not, feel what the body could not reach. There was life weaved into every molecule around them, and Revan could peer into it by offering his own mana, a dialogue without words as he looked for some feedback about what was in the sphere.

  950. [21:50] {NARRATION} As Revan would close his eyes, he would sense the following:

  952. A vast emptiness of unimaginable distance. A tear, a rip of reality connecting one place to another, and yet it was unstable. It wasn't ready. But still, the more he looked, the more it called out to him.

  954. Closer. Yes.. come closer.

  956. Yet for the spiral himself, the energy it was emitting would increase, reacting to Revan's own search.
  957. [21:53] Severing his connection to it, pulling his mana back from feeding it anymore he would step back and open his eyes. Grinding his teeth for a moment he would ponder what he felt.

  959. "It's a rift."
  960.  
  961. He'd finally declare, that malicious energy it exuded, similar to the black Lizard, yet to different. He thought it could have lead to the Spirit Realm, yet that vast emptiness worried him.

  963. "I.. Think it leads to the void.. We.. Shouldn't bother it- Keep your distance.. It's not.. Entirely stable.." He would explain, but he felt the allure, that curiousness of what could be in the darkness.

  965. "We should.. Check the rooms before we mess with it.. Let's start with the right one."

  969. [21:54] Astrid would waltz up to a good 10 paces from the right doorway before lighting a torch and tossing it inside

  986. Suppose this was the only way to proceed and it felt good that he didn't propose to split up. Seeing how strong the lizards were he could assume there maybe stronger creatures residing in this temple. He would silently follow them to the room on the right.

  990. [21:59] {NARRATION} As Astrid would throw her torch into the room the group would see the that room was made completely out of purple stone, and if they chose the enter, the door would close behind them trapping them inside.

[22:02] Banri would charge up what looked to be a massive ball of orange embers only to make it shatter before it even reached the room in something of a low powered explosion that was just destructive enough to break his own flames into wisps of fire but not damage the room or anything else. He was oddly cautious. The wisps would explore and light up the room.

  1074. That purple stone, it was Tyrium of course and it would begin to suck their mana dry. There was nothing they could do about it.

  1402. [23:44] The dance was nice until things started looking grim. Now they were about to fight who he assumed was Axolotl. Was this it? Was this the way they are going down? He could feel a cold sweat as the man or being decided to show his power. The elemental power of Rock, fire, wind and water.

  1404. The prospect seemed crazy to him and right as they started they were blown away by such power. The sand held him down as he was hit with a barrage of attacks. It's only later on he grew a brain and decided to stay far and kite.

  1406. As everyone bore down on Axolotl with his wounds shaking his hand he would take the final shot taking down what he assumed was the final boss before collapsing on the ground.

  1428. [23:53] Oh Arthur KRAUS, this was impossible! Almost everything this guy did was a hard counter to just about literally EVERYTHING she could do! The girl would dart about the battlefield, keeping distance and only closing it when a lucky opportunity presented itself, but even then? She'd still find herself dazed and reeling from chains, sands, and stone hands that burst from the ground.

  1430. Regardless, She'd push through before ducking right under the Axolotl and Uppercutting it so hard, it's skull fractures! Giving Hans just enough time to finish it off!

  1432. With that being said, it wouldn't be over, as soon a whirling tornado of razorlike sand seems to be hurdling directly toward her! Oh boy... this was gonna hurt.

  1436. [23:54] Lilith would grimace as the spirit would enter the arena, ready to attack her friends. The chains, sand, elements would grab and slow at them, causing many to fall and get injured. Yet, Lilith would continue to try helping out through using the air to slow it, and poison to corrupt its mana.

  1438. It took time, and a lot of injuries and pain, but the Spirit would finally collapse. A smile would return to her face as she looked at everyone around her. Examining if any of them were hurt to badly.

  1440. "Dancing... was tough... Is everyone alright?"

  1444. [23:57] Oh by dear everything was feeling much better now- this fight was going so... welll, it was a difficult fight, for sure. What Fenes could do here would be hang back and throw what spells she knew, and only rush in when seeing an opening of some kind- sometimes she didn't see the right time, and was caught in sand or chains and couldn't move- and it hurt like god damn hel-

  1446. Near the end of the fight The Ookami would jump in front of Astrid to take an injury in her place while she was vulnerable- a sand tornado. With whatever strength she had in the moment she pushed Astrid out of the way- the sand mixed with the wind cutting through her as she was pushed to the side- both poison and scarlet darts thrown back at the spirit in the moment.

  1448. She was thrown to the ground , clutching her wounds she'd stand back up, Jade eyes looking around at the.. spectators.

  1451. Huffing, catching her breath, as much as she could, her eyes would wander through everyone. "Everyone else fine...? Sure hope so."

  1457. [23:57] Finally, a worthy opponent.
  1458.  
  1459. Revan thought as they had to fight through the four elements to claim their prize. It was a storm, overwhelming and oppressive in it's might. Revan would find himself slowed and dazed through half of the fight, but regardless of how much his body screamed, he would press on.
  1460.  
  1461. Using his energy to conjure plants, mana would be fed back into him as he'd burn it to keep his body performing at peak capacity. Digging his hands into the side of the spirit, trying to create fluctuations in his Mana to provide more openings for him and his allies to close in, the being would catch Revan off guard, and send him hurtling into the ground.

  1463. Revan would bounce as the air was forced from his lungs. Trying to stand, trying to continue to fight, Revan would then feel the Spirit's presence force itself on him, using his own trick on him.

  1465. Mana forced it's way into the bandaged teen's circuitry, and all he could hear were the many spirits whispering at first, but then SCREAMING inside of his own skull. Revan would writhe in agony for just a few moments as his allies finished off the beast.

  1467. Chest heaving as his breathing became labored, he would try to meditate, find his center, some form of peace to his mind. Yet it was hard, and it would only give him enough reprieve to stand, holding his head as the group stood victorious amongst the spirits.

  1519. She didn't want anyone else to get hurt, and would watch Banri carefully in order to see if he would attack again. Grabbing Fenes and Revan's hand she would nod. They spoke much better than her when it came to bartering. Especially if it was something like a freaking piece of it.

  1525. [00:15] Hans would quickly pour the lax in his wine bottle as he then proceeded to drink from it. He felt he had enough of this adventure but seemingly trapped he didn't know what to do. So he did what he usually does. He began drinking his wine in a single shot. Some of it pouring down the side of his face.

  1529. He stated casually even though he now knew they are in way over his head before looking at Fenes and giving a surprised look. They were about to get clobbered and she was asking for one of the being's legs.

  1535. [00:18] Banri fought with all he could blacking out a few time and springing back up... Each time he blacked out he saw more of his mistakes, failures, and shortcomings. It was hard not to break down here and there, but he'd push passed his limits. He'd attack the monster before him with all his strength nearly falling once more but the spirit seemed to near its breaking point further.

  1537. "Haha.", the Chuuni laughed at the wrong place and time before dropping his guard momentarily. It was then that the boy was possesed and struck by the spirit... He'd see the spirit realm. It was a lot like being in that dark empty place Kiri put him in once. That feeling of giving up control for another.

  1539. 'Would they make a better Banri than me?', he'd wonder before laughing coldly in his own head space, 'It's not like I make it hard to upstage me...' The boy would hear a chorus of laughter suddenly as foreign voices filled the space. They all laughed at his failures and put him down. Called him a fool, a joke, a clown, a mistake, a disappointment.

  1541. "SHUT UP I KNOW!!", he'd suddenly exclaim coming back to panting and sweating heavily.

  1747. [01:11] Banri watched as everyone continued to try their best. They were all fighting for survival right now. They were all doing their best to make it out of there. Each time the Chuuni got sloshed with water or holy magic, the man felt himself passing out or nearing it again and again. Everytime he'd dream of the guy he saw die, his parents disappointed face, Fenes crying, Fenes with injuries caused by him, and finally Hanko's burned face. By this point the Magi was in tears. The laughing now starting to get to him. At this rate he'd die and join the laughing spirits in what he deemed hell. They'd bully him for an eternity because of his mistakes wouldn't they?
  1748.  
  1749. "Fuck that.", Banri said before pooling all of his magic together in a burst. The flower in his mythril armor burning brightly as he surged all of his mana to its limit. Everything squeezed out all at once... Unbeknownst to him, the desperate display of power and desire to live and burn consuiming all for self preservation synergized with the core in the boy's pocket heigthening his fire abilities further as he'd pierce the monster in the chest with a beam of plasma magic followed by a barrage of lion shaped heads of all things something like nthe monster they fought earlier.
  1750.  
  1751. The monster would fall over from all of their efforts a burning steaming mess. He'd aim to kill it, but it was likely still alive on its last thread. It could die from the littlest thing at this point, but it was alive.
  1752.  
  1753. "It's.. still breathing.. let's kill it before it floods the room.", the Magi said a smoking mess himself. His plasma flames fading almost immediately after the suggestion.

  1780. [01:21] Hans would pant as this was the toughest one yet. The room flooded continuously making his armor and clothes wet and heavy to move. he avoided the center of what he assumes a storm as he tries to do long range shots to no avail. It was upto other guild mates this time.

  1782. As the battle pressed on things got harder as he found openings rushed in and rushed out as it floods. Soon through the endurance and tactics they all manage to take it down. Well mostly Banri as he gave the last shot.
  1783.  
  1784. "Is it over?"

  1786. Hans exhausted as he saw their opponent go down. It didn't help his whole body ached now it's time whether or not they would kill him.

  1793. [01:26] Lilith's heart would race as injuries, death, and the possibility of never getting another hug or cuddle would cross her mind. She had to win this. With whatever it takes.

  1795. With her Dragonic blood pumping, she would move around the battlefield with her wings, using the air to guide her. The poison would help slow down the Axolotl as well as hurt it, all to set up the stronger attacks for her team. Breathing heavily, with injuries all over, she would use her burnt hand to splash it with acid, before Banri would kill it.

  1797. "Everyone... Good?"
  1798.  
  1799. Her heart would race. Please, please, please no one be dead. There shouldn't be anyone dead right? No one heavily injured right? She would then dart around the arena, examining the others wounds.

  1806. [01:31] She didn't want to fight it. She truly didn't, knowing and hearing about these creatures as being rare. The holy magic is was using.. the water... She was hesitant during the whole fight. She still helped like she could.

  1808. Her hesitation would really not help her in this. Even if she did throw poison and blood magic from afar again, not being able to get close too many times to hit the creature... Unwillingly.
  1809.  
  1810. Fenes would not like this fight. She would even despise Banri for only wanting to kill it. her hands were gripping unto the hilt of her sword, her movements suddenly stopping during the battle. Water would crash down unto her as she was cast off to the side, On the ground. She'd stand back up to keep fighting- to survive.
  1811.  
  1812. She was about to get hurt... badly. Until she saw a body dart in front of her- pushing her to the side. What happened...? her head would look back up only to see Revan- to.. hear him. see a leg.. missing. her eyes would go wide, as she froze in place for a moment, before she stood back up, shakily, everything else would happen in a haze, her focus going on the creature as she walked closer towards The creature, her blade rising- And cutting, without an ounce of hesitation, one of it's legs, with multiple slashes, chopping down on it, before her head turned towards Banri.

  1814. "Do whatever you want. That's what you do anyway." she'd move away, holding the leg in hand, dragging it behind her as she walked away from Banri- trying to see how everyone's injuries were.

  1819. [01:38] Exhaustion, Fatigue, burnout... That is all Astrid felt as they clashed with the Axolotl. Astrid's mastery over Pure melee combat shows as the girl continuously dodged and weaved through the multitude of burning magic that emitted from the creature.

  1821. But with the battle drawing longer and longer,Astrid would get to a point where she could barely even hold her sword.
  1822.  
  1823. Come on... Keep going...
  1824.  
  1825. She'd rush forward, throwing herself back into the fray. Cutting, Punching, Kicking, Stabbing... Anything would do so long as she could at least do something!

  1827. "Keep Going! We can wi-"

  1829. Reassuring words are cut short as Astrid is nailed in the head with a water ring. The razorlike edge now rendering her left eye completely useless.

  1833. She'd writhe in agony, placing one hand over the wounded area. Gods... Blood was everywhere.

  1837. The girl struggles to get to her feet now

  1841. Muscles flex as she continues the fight, barely surviving the coming onslaught long enough to see non other than Banri dealing the final blow on the creature. At which point? All Astrid could do was fall to her knees from the stinging pain.

I finally realized that.", the Chuuni replied before switching his attention to the barely breathing monster, "You're probably the only person in this guild dumber than me."

  1849. He'd then walk over and start to beat the shit out of it with his bare hands clearly taking his anger and rage out on the dumb beast.

  1858. [01:44] It was diplomacy or combat, they would either ask for the leg, or take it by force. The sound it odd creature made when Revan made a genuine attempt at trying to make an offering angered him. Gripping the dragon's tooth until his knuckles went white, he'd stab it into the neck of the creature.

  1860. No wonder these bastards are endangered. They're insufferable.
  1861.  
  1862. Though quickly he would see that they gravely underestimated the beast. The room would flood, and Revan would regret wearing Nyeshk for this fight. He had essentially anchored himself to the floor, and he would have to use much more of that cyan mana to leap through the torrents of water to attack and lash out at the beast.
  1863.  
  1864. Closing his eyes, the sea of mana around him would show all of the violence that ensued, all of his guildmates fighting for their lives as they fought off the angered spirit. He would note that Fenes was hesitant, keeping her distance. Something woulddistract her as the Axolotl charged at her, it's maw gaped open as it threatened to swallow her whole.
  1865.  
  1866. Revan would find his body moving before he could think, and he was darting through the water, pushing her out of the way- but he was just too slow. The jaws would close down around his hip, and he would be flailed around as the axolotl took his leg. Blood filling the water as the bandaged Task sank.
  1867.  
  1868. Is this is.. Is this.. The end..?
  1869.  
  1870. The spirits screaming would become a whisper, telling him to give up, resign to his fate as fish food. To die here on the first mission. His heartbeat would waver, but the enchantment Lilly put on it would glow, showing him his own pulse.
  1871.  
  1872. No. Not here.. Not like this.. Not infront of.. Lilly.. Not infront of Fenes.. She would.. Never forgive herself.
  1873.  
  1874. Then he heard his Father's voice.
  1875.  
  1876. LET YOUR WILL BE GALVANIZED IN GLORIOUS COMBAT. FEAR NOT INJURY, ONLY SHAME.

  1878. Suddenly his mana would surge unlike anything he had felt before, his body carried itself on the flow of mana around him, his eyes glowing bright as he used his one good leg to propel himself through the waters. Clinging to the Axolotl, he would pummel it with all of his might, feeling the heat that Banri was channeling at it, he knew he would have to back off- but not before he took one good bite out of it.
  1879.  
  1880. As the water drained around them, Revan would collapse, a daze settling in from the loss of blood. He could barely pay attention to the argument going on, but he would mumble.
  1881.  
  1882. "Let's just.. Get the leg.. And go.."
  1883. (Revan Task)

  1888. [01:47] {NARRATION} The Axolotl would lie dead. It's giant left leg would be removed, detacted from it's body just like Revan's. Yet the room would continue to move upwards, and soon the door they came through would open.

  1890. The unstable rift was stablized now, and other things were around it.
  1891.  
  1892. The spirits that were partying ceased as the multicolored rave they put on ended, it was replaced with a deep crimson shade, and the group would feel them staring right at them.
  1893.  
  1894. Yet... the longer they waited, the more destablized the rift would become.
  1895. [01:49] Fenes says, "...Let's leave. now."
  1896. [01:49] Banri Chuuni says, "Smartest thing you said in the past two hours."
  1897. [01:49] Lilith would grab ahold of Revan, smiling at him
