  25. Special Info
  26. Often Called "Knave of the Wind" when arguing with Caliburn. Often calls Caliburn an "Oversized Letter Opener" during arguments. Also a bit touchy about his height.
  27.
  28. Personality
  29. Light hearted and care free, Zero is a guy that's easy to become friends with, even if you don't intend to. He enjoys various things, from pocky and games to chili dogs and running. He can be stubborn and hard-headed, but he's always loyal to a fault, never abandoning a friend for any reason. His trust still needs to be earned, however, and can be broken easily. He takes any opponent in a fight seriously, both as a sign of respect, and due to past experiences, and never backs down from a challenge. He will go out of his way to keep others safe, however, even if it does result in himself being hurt.

  35. Personality [Cont.] & History NanayaZero
  36.
  37. However, there will be times when Zero gets pushed too far, and he changes completely. Gone is his carefree nature, and in it's place is a much darker personality. One that pushes aside everything else to complete the task at hand. He will not stop until the job is done, even at the cost of his own health and well being. He won't show any mercy, and will become driven by anger. This "Dark Side" of Zero comes out more often than one would think... Especially when a certain demon is mentioned... It has been an obsession of Zero's to get revenge on the demon that ruined his home.
  38.
  39. History
  40. An orphan at the age of 7 due to a demon attack on his home village, Zero has grown up to be rather self-sufficient. He took up the sword as a means of self-defense and getting revenge, but soon found it to also become quite a hobby. Something that helped him soothe his hatred for the reason he was forced to grow up alone. His skills were self-taught, until one fateful, he came across a special sentient sword known as Caliburn. Despite the resulting arguments and bickering between the two that have happened ever since, a bond was formed between them. Especially when Caliburn offered to teach Zero the ways of the sword.
  41.
  42. Since beginning his training with Caliburn, Zero's skills in wielding a sword have jumped incredibly. But as his strength increased, so did his desire for revenge on the demon, who he discovered was simply known as "The Erazor". This escalated to a point where Caliburn and Zero split up after a vicious argument. Shortly after the two split up, Zero came across an wandering old man who went by the title of "The Master".
  43.
  44. History [Cont.] NanayaZero
  45.
  46. This confrontation started rather shakily (With The Master pointing out Zero's darkening nature, a one-sided argument erupting from this, and eventually Zero getting his ass kicked royally in a battle), but The Master did not simply leave. Instead, he offered to help Zero get his emotions under control, and to strengthen him so that he could protect himself and others. Needless to say, Zero accepted the offer.
  47.
  48. During his training with The Master, Zero not only learned how to fight bare-handed and to suppress his own darker feelings most of the time, he also learned how to tap into his Mana (Magical energy generated by all living things) and manipulate it. After some experimenting, Zero managed to discover his Mana's nature, allowing him to enhance his already high affinity for speed, manipulate wind, and even create bounded fields with one of two types of effects. Once three months had passed, Zero departed from The Master, a better person for it, and ready to face Caliburn once more.
  49.
  50. After a warm reunion with the sword, Zero set off for Giga City, in an attempt to find a new home, and to investigate the rumor of a strange series of Demon Attacks that had been going on in the area...
  51.
  52. Appearance & Abilities NanayaZero
  53.
  54. Appearance
  55. Standing at 5'2", Zero doesn't make for an intimidating figure. With long blond hair tied in a wild low ponytail that goes past his waist, and is somewhat spiky up top, and sapphire blue eyes, Zero could occasionally be called feminine (A fact that irks him to no end). His outfit usually consists of a black t-shirt that is mostly covered by an off-blue long sleeved jacket that goes down past his waist a bit. Blue jeans cover his lower half, and special sneakers designed to handle his high affinity for speed adorn his feet.
  56.
  57. There are a few light scars on Zero's back from both his experience as a child and his training with The Master. His right arm is also somewhat scarred from training with Caliburn. His skin is lightly tanned from all the time he spends outdoors. His eyes often show kindness and a great will to live.
  58.
  59. Abilities
  60. Sonic Speed
  61. Zero's natural affinity for speed is ridiculously high, allowing him to move much faster than others. He is nearly unrivaled in this department.
  62.
  63. High Stamina/Mana Reserves
  64. Thanks to his training times with The Master and Caliburn, Zero has built up very large reserves for his stamina and mana, allowing him to fight much longer and harder than normal humans.
  65.
  66. Advanced Combat Training
  67. Zero excels in wielding a sword, regardless of it's type. It is like a second nature to him. He struggles a bit with other weapons, but is also very proficient in Hand-to-Hand combat. His defense is usually lacking, however...
  68.
  69. Wind Manipulation
  70. By spreading his mana out into the air itself, Zero can control the wind in a limited area. Can be used for both daily situations, AND for combat!
  71.
  72. Abilities [Cont.] NanayaZero
  73.
  74. Light Speed Dash/Attack
  75. Zero adopts a runner's start crouch and begins to gather a large amount of energy and manipulates it to push himself forward as he stays in place, building up momentum, before he releases it all in one blast, resulting in him temporarily gaining Light Speed, as the name implies. Zero can keep the technique going as long as he can continue to channel enough energy into it. This takes a good deal of energy.
  76.
  77. Time Break
  78. Zero spreads his energy out into a bounded field around him, slowing things down considerably. Good for getting the timing right on things. Zero's speed is a bit restricted when this is active, however. Cannot be used in conjunction with Light Speed Dash/Attack.
  79.
  80. Wind Buster
  81. One of Zero's favorite techniques. It launches blades of energy, either neutral or alligned to the wind element, that rush forward at a decent speed. Has limited homing capabilities.
  82.
  83. Z-Tornado
  84. Zero moves around in a circle rapidly, or spins in place, while channeling his energy to generate a minature tornado. Can be used for offense or defense.
  85.
  86. Line of Fate
  87. This skill is rather basic, but when mastered, can be infinitely useful. It creates a string or rope(Depending on how much power is put into it and how compressed it is) of mana that can latch on to about anything. The primary uses of this technique are to replenish an ally's mana supply, or to control puppets. However, more creative users of this technique have found many more uses, or have taken the primary uses to new extremes.
  88.
  89. Abilities [Cont.] NanayaZero
  90.
  91. Healing Wind
  92. This is an advanced medical technique developed for those with a great deal of mana, but proportionally low control. What it does is it sends the users mana into the air, and creates a gentle breeze in an isolated area. Anybody within this area will be gradually healed of injuries. The rate depends on the amount of control the user has on the technique, and the amount of mana pumped into it.
  93.
  94. Limited Hammerspace
  95. Zero is able to dispatch and summon his weapons at will. Usually only for Caliburn. Unfortunately, doesn't end arguments between Zero and Caliburn, as the two can still communitcate....
  96.
  97. Soul Surge
  98. One of Zero's ultimate techniques. Zero's able to home in on multiple targets, be them seperate enemies or weak points on a single enemy, he's soon able to rocket to that point and deliver a strong attack. If only a single target is gained, then Zero unleashes a high-speed barrage of attacks. Zero does need some time to recover after using this technique, however, so he usually only uses it as a last resort or end game.
  99.
  100. Gravity Break
  101. Utilizing a special stone band around his wrist, Zero is capable of "Breaking" gravity within a moderate area, allowing him to go airborne, and make sharp turns easily. On an offensive note, any objects caught in the field are also affected by the lack of gravity, and when the technique is released, they will shoot forward along with Zero.
  102.
  103. Abilities [Cont.] NekoOfTheLost
  104.
  105. Meteor Dive
  106. Like Gravity Break, this technique uses a special stone band around his wrist. However, this takes much more energy to activate, as the area of effect is much greater. Instead of "breaking" Gravity, Zero instead redirects it, allowing him to cover large distances regardless of terrain in short amounts of time. Like Gravity Break, anything caught in his area of effect will be dragged along. If the object is large enough, Zero is able to boost his speed by kicking off of it. This is heavily taxing on Zero's reserves, however, and cannot be maintained for very long.
  107.
  108. Ryuudou/The Flow
  109. Another of Zero's ultimate techniques. Using his energy to form a field around him, Zero removes all limitations on his movements, allowing him to reach speeds he couldn't normally achieve. When incorporated with his fighting style, he's able to unleash not only powerful frontal barrages, but swift, silent, and strong strikes. Activation takes a good amount of energy, but the drain of maintaining it is a quite a bit less than one would expect, so it balances out.
  110.
  111. (NEW)Nanatsu Kigen(Seven Prayers)
  112. Zero's newest attack. Gathering a large amount of mana into his body and into Caliburn (Wind Element optional), Zero proceeds to leap at the target, and unleash a barrage of seven slashes that deal extra damage to the target due to the foreign mana entering their body. If the initial attack is blocked, Zero is forced to recover for a good amount of time, leaving him vulnerable. If Wind Mana is gathered into Caliburn, miniature wind blades will deal additional multi-hit damage in place of the normal mana's effect (Just dealing single-hit damage).
