Fluff: The Empty Maw is the only game in town when it comes to magical based criminality. They are well established in the old world, and are expanding into the new world with this operation. They have maintained this monopoly through two methods: Ruthlessly eliminating any competition that tries to use magic for criminal purposes without going through them first, and by keeping a strict monopoly on an enchantment that allows them to create 'spell thief' items. Membership involves the removal of an applicants tooth, which is split in two, one given to the local chapter of the Maw to use as a spell focus, and one sent to the Guild Master in the old world. The Empty Maw tends to cede other criminal interests of a more mundane nature, provided it's magical monopoly is maintained and it is given enough leeway to keep local operations solvent.
