  1. (I have watched some of a dead space play through it’s been quite a while but hopefully I didn’t get too much wrong)
  2.
  3. I was a simple engineer on the Ishimora. I did my job I kept things going. I was well liked by people but didn’t really stand out. Then things got strange. Maybe to be fair it was when that unitology cult started showing up that things got strange. When people started to go insane and paranoid on the ship is when I awoke…
  4.
  5. At first I thought I must be going mad with everyone else. It’s quite a thing to have the memories of hundreds of lives pouring in to your brain. Usually I don’t really notice it because I am not worried about being crazy it’s instantaneous but here I think I resisted it a bit. I suppose that’s understandable.
  6.
  7. It’s odd certain emotions can be felt in the air around certain events. Anxiety, fear and paranoia hung in the air. You could feel it everywhere you looked. People started to break down under the pressure. Some spoke to family members who had been dead for years, others acted out violently. I tried to calm down what I could. Even with all my powers I am one person I couldn’t be everywhere for everyone.
  8.
  9. First came the murders and suicides… then the dead rose in horrible twisted forms. I had thought everything had gone to hell before… I was wrong.
  10.
  11. I fought, I fought hard, however I quickly learned that these monsters did not die easily. I struck the usual areas, head, heart, etc but they still came. I wound up obliterating them until I learned I could just remove their limbs. So I gathered up the survivors I could find, the mostly sane and rational people… at least that’s what they were when I gathered them.
  12.
  13. Time had become my enemy and as if to make matters worse someone had ejected all the escape pods.
  14.
  15. It was a nightmare… speaking of which I started to have dreams, dreams of foes and friends long gone… I also once woke up finding that I had been building something… as best I could tell it was a miniature marker. That sent chills down my spine. I destroyed my work and went about trying to hunt down the
  16.
  17. So if it wasn’t enough trying to hold together a band of paranoid survivors who’s mental health is degrading… I had to worry about my own.
  18.
  19. Those I trusted who were few I granted powers and weapons to help fight off the Necromorphs… It was tough because I knew that despite themselves if thins went on long enough they would turn on me, or the rest of the survivors.
  20.
  21. With the survivors I didn’t have much time to analyze the signal from the markers. Then somehow someone got a distress signal out.
  22.
  23. Eventually the USG Killion came to investigate it along. We did not meet up immediately though I had been guarding the survivors in a part of the ship I had deemed defensible. I was however able to get a signal out to Isaac Clark.
  24.
  25. Isaak at first was most interested in if his girlfriend Nicole was among the survivors I had. Unfortunately she wasn’t. I told him that I had gathered all the survivors I had found but there may be stranglers. I didn’t want to kill his hope. At that moment I sensed he needed all the hope he could get and maybe I could pull off a miracle it wouldn’t be the first time.
  26.
  27. Isaac went about a mile out of his way to reach us. We rewarded him with what men and arms we could as we worked to head to the remains of the Killion.
  28.
  29. I explained that my RIG was more maneuverable than his and that I might be able to scout ahead. I managed to get him to agree as I headed off then started moving at speeds well beyond what was humanly possible… I knew to save everyone I had to prevent the destruction of the Killion.
  30.
  31. I made it to the killion and started to fight the creatures there who were brought out by my presence. Unfortunately they kept me busy enough that they were able to blow up the Killion nearly right on top of me…
  32.
  33. Well I was alright but we were screwed I reported back what happened as I finished off the rest of the Necromorphs.
  34.
  35. So we have to fall back, We find the survivors another defensible area which is a miracle in and of itself. I go with Isaac to go launch a beacon to get help because that’s about our only option. There is some contrives on Isaac’s side where his commander knew about the Marker that was the cause of all this.
  36.
  37. It draws a ship unfortunately somehow by the time we get to it the damn thing is already overrun Hammond the security officer has joined us by this time and we are fighting out way to retreave the new ships power core to repair a shuttle so we can all escape.
  38.
  39. We repair the shuttle but a doctor from the Ishimora asks Clark to take the shuttle and return the red marker to the planet to stop something called the hive mind. One of Issac’s team turns on us and tries to kill the doctor but I stop her. I turns out she wants to take the marker for the government who made it in the first place. I kick the crap out of her and tie her up.
  40.
  41. I tell Clark get the ship and the survivors out of there I’ll get the marker down to the planet. This sounds insane to him (Which it is) but I manage to convince him anyways. They take the shuttle and leave. I am in a dead ship filled with military hardware and Necromorphs so I begin to repurpose stuff to get the ship ready for one last flight down.
  42.
  43. I take the ship down to the planet in a blaze of glory. I survive because of toughness and my suit. The marker is not so lucky which doesn’t matter anyways. Now free of having to protect others I Call upon the Light of Terra and go super Saiyan. With our combined power we atomize the planet. With that done We head for another colony where I felt comfortable summoning my companions. Once there we begin to fight against the unitoligist conspiracy and try to prevent the finding and use of other markers. It was a long and messed up 10 years.
