   ◦ MIN - it comes from taking the first syllable of her name (MI) and mixing it with her surname (JIN), to get MIN. it's a nickname that mirae has had for longer than she can remember, and she's not entirely sure who first started calling her this. however, all of her family and close friends have since picked up on it, and it's not uncommon for her family to call her this more often than they call her actual name.

   ◦ RARA - comes from the end of her name, as they're spelt similarly. this, paired with her wannabe frightening and threatening nature is what has led to people calling her this to annoy her. her friends find it endearing, how her face scrunches up whenever they call her this, usually after she tries to be threatening, but they all know that she's too lazy to actually do anything about it.

   ◦ COUCH POTATO - mirae is a lazy person, and she will admit it. and because she's so open to admitting that she can't be bothered to do most things, so her classmates have dubbed her a COUCH POTATO. it's not exactly her favourite nickname, but she can't do much about it either

   ◦ in all honesty, mirae's life growing up was nothing special, and it was similar to that of everyone else on the block. she grew up in a nice, modern house, bigger than the average house, with more rooms than needed for a family of four, and house staff that worked seven days a week. she grew up in a relatively rich environment, surrounded by all the other rich families in the expensive neighbourhood. you could say that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but anyone who actually knew mirae would know that she'd spit it out whatever chance she got. despite coming from a rich family, mirae's never been interested in all the money she has to spend, and if anything, spends most of her time trying to find the cheapest discount she can. both her parents had relatively well paying jobs before mirae and her older sister were born, and brought in a stable income that was enough to land them in the top five richest families on the block. even after her mother quit her job to look after mirae full time, her father was still able to earn well over enough to live on for the small family.

     + hyejeong is mirae's best friend from her school, and they met on the first day, after becoming seat mates during their homeroom. from there, their friendship blossomed into what it has become today. hyejeong is one of the few people that can tolerate mirae's laziness, and is always there to keep her ego in check. the pair tend to stick together, as they don't particularly enjoy the company of a lot of the other pretentious girls at their school, and their that pair of embarrassing friends that are always really to catch up on trends

     + mirae's next door neighbour, and possibly the only male friend she has, youngkyun is the only person outside of school that mirae makes an effort to keep in touch with. that, and given the fact that they spend most of their weekends together catching up on whatever they've missed, going to different high schools. they've known each other since they were four years old, and their parents are best friends, and the type of people that are hoping mirae and youngkyun will end up married. (mirae is strongly against this, mostly due to the fact that she's positive that youngkyun has the hots for hyejeong). they're have a brother-sister sot of relationship, and spend most of their time squabbling, but besides this, they've never actually had a massive fight before.

➖ WHY DID YOUR CHARACTER APPLY?:
   ◦ she did it on a dare. she's not exactly the type of person who loves outdoorsy stuff, or moving in general, let's be real. but youngkyun found a pamphlet for it, and hyejeong had suggested she do it, which had then led to both of them trying to convince mirae to do it. and of course, mirae isn't on eto back down from a challenge, no matter how lazy she is. plus, she didn't think she'd actually get accepted, especially when she didn't take the application process seriously and put random answers down. needless to say, it came as quite a shock when a letter arrived in the post and she found out she'd been accepted. so now, not only does she have to spend the summer being active, she also has to spend it without access to wifi. her mother also isn't pleased about her being on the show, because she hates nature even more than her daughter, but has't said anything, since mirae's father thinks the whole thing will be a great experience for her.
