  1. Dear Family,
  2.
  3. My name is Santa Claus. I’m a joyful and lively 17 years old boy who loves traveling, exploring new places and coming across new people. I would call myself an extrovert. My siblings have always been choosing me to speak with people, especially adults. They do also think that I’m a good problem solver. I enjoy getting to know people, cause I can learn from them at every opportunity no matter whether it’s a simply story or a specific situation they’ve been in. I’m currently living in a large city (around 540 000 habitants ). The city suits me well, because I love to travel by public transport despite the fact that it’s the fastest way to move around a town, but also there is always a chance to bump into someone new.

  5. I have a twin brother Antoni and a sister - Zosia, who is 2 years older than me. What’s funny is that I’m actually only two minutes older than my brother. I am pretty attached to my siblings. I did not leave my brother until I was 14. We share our childhood, school and from the age of 7 we have a common passion for football. At the age of 13 I resigned from playing sports at my school and started to develop myself in studying, and learning about astronomy and photography. Besides that I also enjoy reading books. What’s great is that by playing football this whole time I taught myself to be persistent in whatever I do, especially achieving my goals. There is my favourite quote describing it that Kennedy said: ‘We do some things not because they are easy, but because they are hard.’ I’m a type of a hard-learner that no matter how hard the problem is I would always came up with the solution.
  6. As I did to learn some money for my first ever camera. I’ve been working for it during previous vacations when all my friends were having a good time I had to get up every morning and prepare goods for shipment in the warehouse for 8 hours straight. It was pretty tough to do, but as I said I was focused on my goal to get a new camera. I also enrol on a photo course, that taught me basic knowledge of photography. But I wouldn’t be able to do this if it wasn’t for my older cousin, who is a professional photographer, that started just like I did. Without his guidance I’m sure I would get lost at some point.

  8. My first success in the field of photography was to publish my photos in an article about the work of border guards at the airport in my city. I didn't expect to win the competition at all but to my surprise I had won. It was a great experience for me to participate in the event. Thanks to that I could experience how the job of the uniformed services looks like behind the scenes.
  9.
  10. My parents are divorced. I live separately with my mother, sister and grandmother but still keep in touch with my father. My twin brother has been living away from home for over 3 years. He kept on his adventure with football. Despite it the whole family is pretty close related and we spend a lot of time together. There is no such topic that we cannot bring into the discussion. Everyone is pretty talkative. Even my siblings, who are rather reticent. I take pleasure in our daily conversations where I can touch on any subject that intrigues me. Our house is always bustling. We are often visited by our friends, who also love to participate in our conversations and jokes together.

  12. Currently, together with my sister, we have decided to be a part of multiple charity actions. We have auctioned off a photo session with my sister's horse that I shoot myself. The auction itself was very popular among people and we are proud of our rather small achievement. Without our aid the event wouldn’t get that much attention and help for sick children. Sometimes it takes so little to make others happier.

  14. I was brought up with a sense of respect for other people regardless of their education status, nationality or wealth. My parents taught me to look at people and see them as they are, not what they have and how they are dressed. They also taught me to love animals. I have 2 cats and a dog at home. Each of them has a different story. Jaga is a beloved 9-year-old dog from the shelter, who fell seriously ill 3 months ago. It turned out she had had a tumor in her stomach . The doctor suggested sedation or expensive surgery. We hadn’t thought for a second. My siblings and I spent all the money we’ve been saving. Jaga (the dog) was operated on and 1.5kg of the tumor was removed from our little 8kg dog. The tumor was so huge it almost filled the whole stomach. As it turned out it was an ordinary hematoma and our dog gained a second life. Apart from Jaga, there is also a blind cat Glutek with us, which my sister brought from a horse stud where he was taken when found in the forest He’s been living with us for 4 years straight. Recently we adopted a small cat Marley, which emerged to be a great laughing stock for the stately Glutek.

  17. For a year now, we have been living with a sick grandma who is no longer able to live alone. I love my grandmother and I know that this is how the life goes. The fact that she has always stood up for me makes me want to thank her with all my heart, that’s why I often listen to my grandmother's stories from the old days. I find those very intriguing especially those related to the fact that my grandmother survived the war. I sometimes wonder how difficult life was for both her and her friends. We live in the times of relative calm and I will do my best to contribute to that.
