- So, I sourced Freddy's model from https://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/fivenightsatfreddysvrhelpwanted/
- I ended up rigging it in Blender so the parts could be seperated (otherwise it was just one large mesh). From there I take the model parts and reassemble them in a program I'm more familiar with (Microsoft 3D Builder) and build it up and scale it properly.
- From there, I plan to print all of the parts. Considering that I am not an extremely rich person, I don't have a massive industrial grade 3D printer, and quotes for just one or two parts can easily cost up to $1000 USD. I plan to just split each part and 3D print them on my TronXY XY-2 3D printer. I am going to use TPU filament and mend the parts (of the individual parts) with hot glue.
- Building the endo-skeleton might be the most complex part, and I don't have it all entirely planned. I need to figure out the weight of all the parts that will be printed, it will be well over 5 kg. I want to try to get away with motors and servos, mainly because I don't have the budget for a full air compressor animatronic frame, and also because it gives me a fun project to plan out.
