Degrace update

Real Name:  Lightning D. Grace

Hero Name:  Degrace- Degrace is drawn from a few different aspects, primarily his middle, and surname, though Lightning also drew inspiration from French coup de grâce in the 1690s, translating to "stroke of grace", the merciful death-blow that ends another's suffering (see coup). Lightning chose this name among others because it represents both his name and what he wishes to accomplish as a hero.; to ending another's suffering, gracefully.

Quirk (All information): Will-O'- Whisp: Lightning is able to produce A Spirit flame which is unable to set inanimate objects on fire, though is able to harm living things. (he also looks like a kitsune but that is just sorta a mutation to the quirk similar to Tokoyami's head being that of a bird has nothing to do with his quirk being dark shadow. The only true effects he gains from this is enhanced hearing and smelling)


A Brief History:  Growing up, Lightning had a fairly simple life, it was easy. He was born into a wealthy family, he had everything he could ever want, all the money he could ever want, the world at his fingertips, and a powerful quirk to boot, seeing that his parents specifically bred with one another to create powerful offspring. Because of this, Lightning grew up almost... a bully, looking down on those who didn't have it as good as him, judging them for being poor. Though he was not all to blame, as, His parents had a role to play in his way of thinking, giving everything he wanted, so that he could always be "above" others, so that if they ever needed... they could control him to use his powerful quirk to their self!

As Lightning began to grow up, his way of thinking took a hard hit as, one day walking home from school, he witnessed a mugging between two weaker people, people who're quirks weren't strong enough to become a hero.  One person's quirk was that he was able to turn his fingernails into 4-inch knives, they were weak, but, against raw flesh, they were pretty terrifying. The other's quirk was unknown. Regardless... Lightning witnessed the knife guy stab the other for his wallet before running off. Lightning, being as he was walked up to the person bleeding out, unaware of the severity of the situation. Lightning taunted him for being weak, though... once  the boy caught a whiff of the blood pouring out of the man, seeing it drip out onto the concrete sidewalk, seeing the mans suffering because of someone stronger than him, it made lightning have a realization... he had been doing this to others, though on a less severe circumstance. Regardless, It shook him, causing him to reshape his personality completely. After helping the man by calling the police, Lightning decided that he was done using his quirk, money, power,  to make people feel bad but instead to help them, to help them end their suffering. It was then he chose to become a hero and adopted the name "Degrace".
