If there really are multiple CANON GAY MARRIAGES like I'm hearing I'll be frickin thrilled. That's all I really wanted. At the end of the day I don't really care who Byleth marries since they're going the "silent protag" route and Byleth seems like a non-character to me, so I'm okay with Rhea apparently not being a marriage option. Other characters getting to be queer outside of being romanced by the protagonist = yes please.

That said, all the gay marriages I've heard about seem to be f/f. As a lesbian, hell yeah, Fodlan is Land Of The Sapphics. On the other hand, no canon m/m ships at all? Having actual f/f marriages and ambiguous "and they travelled together for the rest of their lives" for m/m ships is just... such a blatant double standard, on top of apparently only having ONE m/m option for Byleth now.

We all know fanservice decisions are made with straight men in mind, so I'm sure it's because Straight Dudes Think Lesbians Are Hot (But We Don't Want To Offend Them With The Existence of Gay And Bi Men).

So yeah, I'm really happy about f/f ships, but at the same time I feel guilty celebrating with how dirty they did the dudes. Man >:(
