The Uzumaki's Crusade

"Sometimes, the thirst for knowledge can send you trespassing into territory no mortal should tred upon. Where Uzumaki, Shina found himself was exactly that. A result of humans treading to close to the Gods we'd forsaken. After Shina's death, the practice and study of soul sealing had become widely regarded as Taboo within Uzushiogakure. Considered to be Kinjutsu.

I remember the dangers of this practice being drilled into mine, and every little red haired Uzumaki kid in town. There we were, renowned for our legendary uses of the art, but so fearful of it as well. Back then, the village was open to those wanting to pass through. However, one family in particular decided to stay and take up teachings in Fuuinjutsu under the Uzumaki Clan.

The Tsume family grew close with just about everyone in the village. Which only made their betrayal of our trust all the more astonishing. The research we considered to be not meant for this world was finished right under our noses. At first, they were trialed and banished. However, we soon came to the realization of how big a mistake simply letting them go would be. As their teachers, it became our duty to keep what happened to Shina from happening on a larger scale. So began what was later considered The Uzumaki Crusade. Our best attempt to contain the threat to Humanity.

The Senju, our Cousin Clan, got involved with a deal that only served to protect The Tsume from their necessary extermination using clever wording in attempt to trick us. An insult on our intelligence.

Using our Clans wealth, we hire help from the Kajin Clan to drive out the Senju. The enemy is pushed back towards the Land of fire, but the short lived war was taxing on our supplies. Uzushiogakure had been ravaged, so we accept an offer to become a Great Shinobi Village from The Kaijin clan.

As part of a mostly Scientific Clan, we did not have much field presence during the Kono-Iwa war. However, we did provide most of the explosives. As for our role in the Fall of Kumogakure?

We were the ones who creating the Monster Seal for the Kumogakure insurgent, leading to the Yotsuki Clan's eradication and providing an opening for our allied flanks."
