  2. Tipo [182 Ocean Ave]
  3. Same owners as Central Provision below with a more Italian focus.
  4.
  5. Eaux [90 Exchange St]

  7.
  8. Best lobster rolls:
  9. Highroller [104 Exchange St]
  10. Best rolls and suprisingly great burgers. Smallish but great tap and bottle list - partially owned by Bissell.
  11.
  12. Fancy and worth it:
  13. Central Provision [414 Fore St]
  14. Small plates and amazing cocktails. You'll sometimes fancier dishes like wagyu and foie gras. They don't take reservations so pop over earlier and put your name in. Pro tip - Novare Res is right around the corner and it's their 10th Anniversary. You'll find Cantillon, Drie, etc. on draft right now and some amazing collabs they did for the event with Allagash, Maine Beer Co, Oxbow, etc.
  15.
  16. Fore Street [288 Fore St]
  17. Farm to table and wood fired steak/seafood. Always packed and likely no reservations available but they do hold tables for walk-ups if you get there for an early or late dinner.
  18.
  19. Hugo's [88 Middle St]
  20. Fancier farm to table with a reeeally nice prix fixe menu, but it's expensive. Amazing cocktails. They also own Eventide [Oysters and 2nd favorite lobster roll in town] and Honeypaw [Asian noodles] which has one of my favorite desserts in town [honey soft server with carmelized honeycomb and chocolate magic shell.
  21.
  22.
  23. Brewery Areas:
  24.
  25. Already talked to you about Industrial Way [Allagash, Foundation, etc. ]
  26.
  27. Thompson's Point - Bissell Brothers, Stroudwater Distillery, Locally Sauced [bbq and burritos] and Bunker Brewing is a short walk away
  28.
  29. [y]East Bayside - Oxbow, Duckfat Frites Shack [just opened - beside Oxbow] Lone Pine, GoodFire and Rising Tide all within walking distance of one another. Amazing food options nearby too... Terlingua [Texas style bbq], Izakaya Minato [Japanese], Cong Tu Bot [pho, noodles] Baharat [middle eastern] etc.
  30.
  31. Biddeford/Saco - Not walkable but Barreled Souls [best BA dark beers in Maine], Banded and Dirigo [great lagers] all relatively nearby.
  32.
  33. Best Tap Lists in Portland:
  34. Novare Res is having their 10th Anny and has a pretty incredible list on.
  35.
  36. King's Head would normally have a better list and decent food, but can't compete with the above.
  37.
  38. Pai Men Miyake has the best food/beer list combo in town, period - good "cellar bottle list."
