- When Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth doesn't launch or crashes almost instantaneously when launching from Steam, use the following workaround:
- 1. Download libtbb.so.2 from http://www.mediafire.com/file/cpul0i7qz8vabrc/libtbb.so.2/file
- 2. Place libtbb.so.2 into the Beyond Earth folder
- 3. Set launch options: LD_PRELOAD='./libtbb.so.2'
- 4. Have fun!
