- Description: Roy and his son were working at the IHOP in Huntsville, AL, when Turner entered to pick up a to-go order. Turner, upset at the service, pulled out a gun and began firing, striking Roy and his son, who pulled out his own gun and shot Turner dead. Roy’s son survived, but Roy died of his injuries 4 days before his 57th birthday.
