-  As an only child, Hyun-ae found herself growing up without any family conflict,
   however always yearned for a friend; which made her become very sociable, unlike
   the other children in that area of Chuncheon. With her parents working almost every
   afternoon, the girl became a fast learner in making her own food and cleaning the
   house with no help from an adult - making her adaptable. She listened to music, read
   a whole bunch of books, and sailed through school as if it were nothing. Her quirky
   personality brought people in, like this one guy Todd (who was her friends' American
   exchange student). At the age of fifteen, her and Todd became close friends, and the
   boy introduced her to so many more artists than what she heard on the radio. He brought
   her into the life of rap, and trained her to be one of the greatest. Sooner or later,
   Todd had to leave, and his last present to Hyun-ae was his note book - which had rhymes
   and rhythms he allowed her to use to continue her new-found passion. She moved to Seoul
   in hopes of becoming famous enough; famous enough that maybe even Todd could see her on
   his own TV screen all the way back in Washington.
