- 'Sup, doods!
- I'm about to feel busy again, aren't I—not that I haven't been keeping myself busy lately, but I'm about to condense a couple of monthly tournaments into a two week span and wondering how I'm not supposed to fall behind in something the moment I start running two tournaments a month when I am also editing the tournament videos. I have a lot of stuff I need to figure out soon and a lot of extracurricular activities that I need to evaluate whether or not to include in my life. I'm at the point in my life where I'm trying to figure out my stuff, anyway, so this is par for the course.
- By the way, I appreciate everyone that is suddenly finding the TikTok shorts. It's clear that you want to watch me for my gameplay and not for me as a personality. Give it time, doods. Anywell, TikTok is the first place you can find my shorts, if you don't mind the Chinese company ownership, and more of you doods are finding them than ever before. I wouldn't mind streaming to TikTok Live to replace losing the ability to stream to X. No, I'm not buying a Premium subscription unless you make me. I'm going to keep up the daily clips so long as TikTok remains legal in the U.S. Thank you for supporting the channel, doods.
- And yes, it took me this long to acknowledge my first LPS tournament win in five years. I was overdue, but I'm not focused on that. I just want to put on a good show and, by all accounts, people are enjoying it. No time to sit and reflect, though, because it's less than two weeks until the Flying Wiggler Open. Hop to it, Cards!
- I'm getting that busy feeling again, doods.
- Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:
- Goal #1: edit Poochy Open tournament videos. My personal shorts are going to be perpetually behind. I can get ahead of the clipping, but other time-sensitive things keep getting in the way of the rendering. They will be a perpetual thing.
- Goal #2: edit personal best videos in Tetris Attack Easy – V-Hard and Normal.
- Goal #5b: finalize the tournament layout once and for all in a way that I can adapt for the Pokemon Puzzle League tournaments. At this point, I don't expect to be able to do this before the next Pokémon Puzzle League tournament.
- Goal #6a: clean up my own stream layout. Most of the framework necessary for a semi-proper stream is done now thanks to streaming the process, though I'm not currently motivated to stream any other part of it at the moment. Next major objective is to make alerts. I have stream reaction clips to put in. Emotes, one or two alternate overlay themes, and alternate timer themes would come soon after. As soon as I think of things to put in, I will add them to the list.
- Goal #6b: catch up on video archives that I have yet to upload since I restarted streaming. I may put them on a separate channel.
- Goal #7: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. Getting back to this will be easier once the workflow for the monthly tournaments is finalized.
- Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.
- This week's schedule:
- Wednesday @8pm- 10pm ET – Wild Cards Wednesday – Flying Wiggler Open Qualifying, Easy – V-Hard Runs
- Friday @9pm- 1am ET – Friday Night Salt Mines – Flying Wiggler Open Qualifying or World Record Attempts
- That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, be decent to each other. Later, doods!
