- Gold and the Shop
- Gold is the currency that is gained in different ways depending on the game mode. Gold can be used in the shop, which can be brought out with TAB (or whatever used to pull up the items/map/skills/magic menu). In the shop, items can be purchased right away, and then activated using the power command. Up to three items can be stored at a time, and can be cycled with the 1, 2, and 3 keys. The shop sells potions, poisons, and scrolls all leveled with different amounts of gold. If the player has a bow or crossbow equipped, the option to buy more ammo also appears. They are separated in columns, and favorites can be selected and either be hot keyed or moved to a favorites section. Gold and all potions, poisons, and scrolls not used are lost on death. Only a fraction of the gold lost on death is stored on dead bodies to be looted.
- Acquiring Gold
- >On Kills - In every game mode, kills award a certain amount of gold that directly goes into your inventory. With apprentice speech, the amount of gold normally gained is multiplied by 1.1, rounded up. Enemies killed with a poison, scroll, or by a player under the influence of a potion receives no gold bonus.
- >Looting - On a dead enemy body, going up to the corpse allows players on the other team to loot it. Looting gives gold based on percentage of the gold the dead player had on death. The formula is this: Player'sGoldx0.1 +10. Dead bodies can only be looted once, and disappear once when that player dies again. If the same player loots his dead body, the formula is increased with: Player'sGoldx0.25 +10. Dead bodies have a 30% chance to drop the player's item (either a lockpick or soul gem), and can be acquired along with gold when looting. Enemies killed with a poison, scroll, or by a player under the influence of a potion cannot be looted.
- >Pickpocketing - Pickpocketing an enemy works when the player is hidden, sneaking behind the enemy, and does the E/activate command. The odds for pickpocketing increases with more Fortify Pickpocketing enchantments, and decrease when the player has more gold. The formula for gold stolen is this: Player'sGoldx0.25 +10. When a player is pickpocketed, their corpse cannot be looted.
- >Completing an Objective - Certain game modes have objectives that, besides being needed to win the game, award players in certain amounts of gold. King of the Hill, for example, awards 40 gold for every teammate on the objective when capped.
- >Opening Chests: During a game, locked chests have a random chance of appearing in certain parts of a map. A chest may only be opened once, and the player that opens it is rewarded with gold, as well a random combination of lockpicks, soul gems, potions, poisons, or scrolls. They spawn in two locations on the map twice per game, meaning there are 4 locked chests to be found in each game. The locks on chests range from Apprentice to Master, with higher leveled loot increasing on the difficulty of the lock. Chests last for 2 minutes if left unopened, with a countdown timer appearing on the top left corner of the screen when lockpicking, and disappears when opened. If a player is lockpicking when time runs out, the chest will still disappear. With apprentice lockpicking, open chests will read "Trapped" for teammates, but look normal and unopened for enemies. If an enemy attempts lockpicking a trapped chest, the chest will instead open and inflict the enemy with a Deadly Lingering Poison. Gold amounts from the different chests are listed here, as well as the odds to get other items (scrolls, potions, and scrolls are picked at random from whatever price range the gold is listed at. So a chest with around 40-70 gold will have a chance to have either a potion, poison, or scroll worth 40-70 gold):
- -Apprentice lock: 40-70g, 50% lockpick, 30% soulgem, 50% potion, poison, or scroll
- -Adept lock: 60-90g, 75% lockpick, 40% soulgem, 60% potion, poison, or scroll
- -Expert lock: 80-110g, 100% lockpick, 50% soulgem, 70% potion, poison, or scroll
- -Master lock: 100-130g, 100% lockpick, 100% soulgem, 30% potion, 30% poison, 30% scroll
- >Selling Weapons with Adept Speech - Enemies drop their weapons on kill, and with adept speech, players have the option to sell those items for a small price. Items that are heavier tend to cost more. Upgraded weapons all increase the value by 2 gold, while enchanted items add more depending on the enchantment. The weapons have there prices already noted, but here is a list of prices for shields, staves, and the gold added with certain enchantments (items with split enchantments or both an upgrade and an enchantment just add half of the cost of each):

- Shop Items: The shop is a crucial aspect to the game, allowing all players to have extra bonuses when doing good in game, and some play styles in particular taking advantage of it. While not needed, the shop can provide much needed bonuses to help in the heat of battle. The shop sells potions, poisons, and scrolls all leveled with different amounts of gold. If the player has a bow or crossbow equipped, the option to buy more ammo also appears. They are separated in columns, and favorites can be selected and either be hot keyed or moved to a favorites section.
- Potions: Potions can be used any time to affect the user for a benefit. They come in potions and philters. Philters are a stronger, more costly version of the potion. In some cases, an even stronger, ultimate philter exists. The alchemy skill can make potions stronger and last longer, and the speech skill lowers their price.

- Poisons: Poisons are applied to weapon in the right hand once bought. If a second poison is available for a left handed weapon, and the right handed weapon is already poisoned, then the left handed weapon can be poisoned. Only one handed weapons, two handed weapons, and bows can be poisoned. Crossbows, the exception, cannot be poisoned. Poisons exist as themselves, but also may have stronger, more costly versions such as Potent Poisons and Deadly Poisons. Poisons can be increased in potency and duration with the alchemy skill, and be bought less by the speech skill. Increasing the duration on some poisons also makes them more lethal.

- Scrolls: Scrolls allow for a one time spell to be casted with no magika cost. When activated, the current right handed option is replaced with the scroll. If the scroll is a master spell, both the left and right hand are shortly switched to the spell. After being casted, the scroll is destroyed and whatever was in the hands it replaced is switched back in. Most scrolls imitate adept level spells or higher. Scrolls are the exact same as the spell they imitate, so they have no reductions as they may of had in game, and any and all updates to the spells still apply to scrolls. Scrolls that imitate spells with chances to work like Paralysis will always work. The speech skill makes them cost less, and magic skills and other effects work with the scroll as they would a normal spell, but as they cost no magika, no spell cost reduction effects are applied.
