Do I write you a silly poem out of all of the letters in your name? Do I post a collage of all my favorite pictures of us? Do I tell you over and over again how talented and handsome and funny you are? I'd probably do all of it, actually. But I'll keep it short and sweet, however, and tell you some of the things I admire about you. But I'm only going to tell you today on your birthday, never again. ;) By now, you and I have known each other for years. We've worked together on two awesome movies, you've worked with many of my friends, and even some.. family members, in a sense. You've always welcomed me with wide open arms and so much love in your heart, that sometimes, I don't even know how to put into words or sillily thank you. For what? For being you. You're kind, you're patient, you're sweet, you're hilarious. You have this amazing energy and positivity about you, that you leave such a lasting impression on an room you walk into. And there's still so many more things. You give so much of yourself to those around you and don't expect much in return, if anything. You're loyal, you're insightful, you're not perfect, but you're you. Someone that no one in this world will ever, ever be able to replace.

So this year on your birthday, I hope you're told how awesome you are, how fun you are, how loved you are. But most importantly, I hope you know how important you are to me and my life. You're my best friend, and I love you so much.

I hope you have an amazing day, and that all 39 of your wishes come true. You're always going to be older than me, so be prepared for next year when I'm teasing you even more for your old age. (There will also be a cake she made.) She'd tease him about giving him 39 birthday spankings, and a "pinch to grow an inch," but instead just gave him a bunch of kisses all over his face. She'd ask him if he'd want to stay the night, also. The Chris Stapleton tickets can really be for any show that works with his schedule. She also got him a new, signed by Chris Stapleton acoustic guitar.
