[01:32] Quadrus would extend a hand, as ice began to form around his body, spreading the cold to the ground a bit. Snowflakes would lightly fall, as he gave a smirk, knowing Yu has been getting stronger, and it was quite nice, though, he never knew how far he'd have gotten.

The air would turn colder and colder to the point where breathing in it seems a bit hard, though, it wasn't lethal. He'd go a bit serious, though, it was only because he didn't like occult magic that much, so he was a bit ticked off, only a bit tho.

"Let's see how strong you've gotten, kid. "

He'd simply state before twirling his staff around and assuming position.

[01:37] "Yes, let's see," he said, but his words were not of confidence, but certainly the lack of it.

He could not control it yet, and thus, he aimed to battle against those who has the ability to completely decimate him. Quadrus was among them. And in that manner of training, he hoped he'd gain better control over the madness that slowly consumed him.

"Ready when you are," he said as tendrils of darkness protruded from his back.

About the youth were calm atmosphere turned heavy and cold, almost choking.

[01:39] Quadrus Potine says, "Heh, I'm kinda forced to, my leg just got healed."

[01:50] Quadrus would move around at high speeds, dodging Yu's blasts and beams, all the while moving faster than his tornadoes. It was a pretty hard fight, though, the winds would disobey him once more, ignoring his commands to manifest and chase his opponent.

Though, he'd still be fast and powerful enough to finish off Yu, though, it was too close for his liking... Yu had certainly gotten stronger, though, it wasn't nearly enough. But still stronger!

He'd let out a smirk, facing his opponent, it was pretty nice to see them grow up and get stronger. It was almost like yesterday since he first started sparring against him and Elyon.

[01:56] The magi fell on his knees, battered by tornadoes and typhoons against his form. Ah, the pain. It was immersive, not for him but those whispers in his head.

It's fun isn't it?

Go on, it's not the end yet. You're not dead yet. Kill. Massacre. It's all there is.

Weak. AHAHAHA! You call yourself a Heifang? Get out of here.

Though it was not those annoying voices that rattled him.

But the visions.

Visions of a battlefield, of blood against the grass. Of blood against the snow. Of the mountain of corpses he stood upon as crimson rained from above.

"Again," he whispered, form shaking as he forced himself to stand up.

The suffocating atmosphere about him even grew heavier.

"Again," Yu said as he grinned, blood running down his cheeks.

[02:04] Quadrus Potine says, "...phew."
[02:05] Yu murmurs incoherently.

[02:09] Quadrus would dodge and counter attack most of the time, noticing Yu slowly growing weirder and weirder, he'd done this once before, and Quadrus is pretty sure that he's not just a normal masochist... but maybe he's just wrong. Maybe he's overreacting.

Nonetheless, it was a strange moment, and he'd question it, time and time again. Those murmurs Yu would let out of his mouth each fight, it might be the occult magic acting up again...

He'd simply wait it out.

"I think you should calm down a bit, it's alright"

[02:13] "...me," murmured Yu as he grinned, standing up. Wound and blood about his form, accumulated throughout the fight, deterred him not. Or perhaps not to him, but the madness that seemed to softly echo about his being.

"Kill me," and with that, he dashed forth, laughing as he lifted his staff; summoning upon purple rings to zoom upon the ice magi.

Despite his words, it seemed his actions said otherwise.

A clash of wills. Resolve against insanity.

[02:16] Quadrus Potine says, "Yu, I think you need to think about what you're saying..."
[02:16] Yu only smiled, revealing eyes lacking reason.

[02:23] Quadrus would continue dodging, as the tornadoes' intents changed from restraining to murder, he knew Yu'd gone crazy again, and it was only right to get him to proper help. He'd simply let out a sigh, knowing this'd only end in one way.

Quadrus would form ice around him, once more, causing it to be even sharper and deadlier this time, he'd need all his power to possibly restrain him. If only there was another way, eh.

[02:31] As he watched typhoons of water touch Quadrus' being, he laughed.

As rings of water sliced through the ice magi's form, he licked his lips and grinned.

The occultist found joy and glee upon the Potine's pain. However, to his blurred, shrouded vision, he was no Quadrus. He saw not a simple sparring session between him and a close friend. But an entirely different being. An evil he so desperately wished to destroy.

"To defeat evil, one must be even more evil. One must become chaos himself, an executioner of no will, but sheer hatred against the depraved," his voice echoed, probably revealing the picture in his mind.

"Come, monster. You are wicked, so will I be," he said and beelined for the Potine.

Only to be stabbed through by deadly sharp talons of ice.

And with that, he grimaced in pain, dashing backward before falling to a knee.

The tendrils of monstrosity escaped his form as he gritted his teeth,looking towards Quadrus.

"Sorry," he said with a pained, weak voice.

[02:32] Quadrus Potine says, "...You're getting too deep into the Occult Magic, Yu."
[02:33] Quadrus Potine says, "I'd suggest you stop before those outbursts become permanent."
[02:34] Yu stood up, before coughing. "Don't worry. I consider this a controlled environment. I never let it out, not unless I know for a fact that my opponent can defeat me." It was a symbol of his trust for Quadrus.

[02:36] Yu Heifang exclaims, "Thanks!"
[02:38] Quadrus would sigh, as he'd force his ice to burst, causing a nice snowday around them, showering the grass with small snowflakes. He'd take off his mask, which was expertly runed, designed to give him an edge in battle.

The ice would thaw, and it'd stop raining snowflakes, which usually meant Quadrus powered down his elemental magic, it was rather common to find him doing this whenever he's tired.

"Phew, I almost had to restrain you again, though, I still think occult magic is dangerous, but, you do you, Yu."

[02:40] "It is, Quadrus. Which is why I aim to control it," he said and sighed, his form shivering upon the thought of turning into but an empty husk of insanity.

"And you're helping me with that. So, thank you."
