first impressions:
↪ soojung - she didn't really pay much attention to him as she was too busy trying to go over her lines. she gave him the obligatory greeting and immediately found a corner to rehearse her lines. she was extremely nervous, as she's know for forgetting what she's about to say and the last thing she wanted was to forget her lines on national television. she was grateful when jin kindly offered to go over the script with her.

↪ seokjin - jin found it very amusing. he could see the anxiety in her eyes and he heard her voice shake when she greeted him. he found it funny when she excused herself to hide in a corner, chanting her lines like some kind of satanic spell. he couldn't help but giggle as he watched her. finally he felt bad and offered to go over the script with her.

↪ beginning - after all the formalities are over with, soojung just acts like her normal self around him. she didn't really have the intention of being friends with him, just comfortable acquaintances. they were friendly during the time they mc-ed together and then she didn't ever think they would talk again after that since he was from an extremely successful band and she was just a rookie.

↪ middle - she was surprised when she continuously saw him again at music shows/award shows/variety shows/etc, and eventually became friends with him. she likes to tease him a lot and make fun of him, though she does it with love.

↪ beginning - he found her to be extremely cute. everything she did was adorable to him. he wasn't even sure why. it was also quite worrying. this girl could trip over air. he already considered her a friend but was surprised when she still acknowledged him formally as an acquaintance and senior.

↪ middle - since he saw her quite often, the two quickly became friends. though she teases him a lot, he teases her way more. he is constantly making fun of her height and her blankness. although he still secretly takes care of her. he is always grabbing her arm before she falls or moving her out of the way before she runs into a pole.

↪ end - he developed feelings for her a long time ago, but just didn't say anything because he knew it would ruin the friendship. he also knew soojung well enough to know that she wouldn't understand anyway if he confessed. when she suddenly tells him that she thinks she has heart problems, he nearly passes out. he quickly forgets about it when he realizes she wasn't being serious. when she continues to mention it, he finally asks her why and she tells him it only happens when she's around him. he is extremely surprised and asks her if it's because she likes him. when she gets embarrassed, he just laughs and says "it's about time. my unrequited crush comes to an end."

relationship: their relationship is very comfortable from the get-go. both of them are rather honest people and there aren't that many misunderstandings between them. at first, soojung was rather hesitant to become friends with him as she doesn't really trust people easily but it was inevitable since they saw each other so much and it just so happened that jin was a very interesting person. once they become close, it's like these two had been friends for years and years. they love to joke around and diss each other. sometimes the line between best friends who like to joke around and "are you two actually friends?" is blurred. however they both care about each other a lot. jin is constantly looking after her and making sure she doesn't accidentally kill herself. soojung is always the first one to defend him if she hears people badmouthing him. these two are basically connected at the hip and provide for each other in places where their members can't. they depend on each other. towards the end, both of them realize that they're in love. they decide to keep the relationship very private and don't act any different than they usually do. although there are those occasional stolen kisses and hand brushing whenever they pass each other.
