Conan file 1103 explanation

DC File 1103 spoilers

Wakita cames to bring sushi that Kogoro ordered, asks about Conan, Kogoro explains he went to a tournment and since he doesn't remember what it's called, he says it's like a foreign shogi, which Wakita follows up by saying "a chess tournament is it?" while he recalls the case of 17 years ago

At the venue (Haido City), Kobayashi gives Shitatori a horse piecek key holder as a good jinx
The case characters walk past, talkiinh about their good luck jinxes and a player who died after the previous tournament who used amazing grace as ring melody for the phone

Haibara explains some rules of chess to the DBs and when Wakata tries to dig into how she knows about them, Conan improvises that Agasa told them (he initially wasn't going to come but heard Wakasa would be there and rushed there to protect Haibara)

Shitatori ends up battling Kuroda and, during the matches, amazing grace rings out from a phone someone left behind a curtain

Conan is surprised to find Kuroda there and when they're talking Shitatori notices he lost the key holder. While Kobayashi suggests going to have tea together, he rushes out to try to find it.

Kuroda talks with Wakasa, commenting they hadn't met since the camp case but then suggests they'd met before in a chess tournament in the past but Wakasa pretends she's confusing her with someone else

One of the case characters is in the toiler stand grumbling over some email and then notices Shitatori key holder

The other case characters are chatting while a sound rings out but they pay no heed (presumably the sound of an arrow)

One of them goes to the waiting room and pours iced tea into his favorite glass but then an arrow shatters the glass and stabs the bag, making Kuroda and Conan rush out to try to find the shooter. Conan notices how the "now cleansing" sign of the toilets is different from the one he saw before, and they rush int to find the victim dead, along with a magazine and SHitatori's key holder

Kuroda guesses the weapon is a bowgun
