  4.
  5. Day 1:
  6.
  7. Having agreed to participate in a little reddit game, you await your instructions. You've heard nothing for quite some time and so it drifts from your mind, until one morning you notice a pink envelope sitting on your doorstep. Picking it up, you detect a slight scent of lavender, then nothing. Darkness.
  8. You awake with a splitting headache and a tightness around your neck. Through blurry eyes you make out a sparsely decorated room, little more than a closet with a mattress.
  9. A burst of static momentarily stuns you before lowering to a comfortable volume, "*ahem,* is this thing on?" The voice seems to come from a small speaker set into the top corner of the wall. "Well, hopefully you can hear me or else you'll be really screwed. Welcome Checklad, to my little house of fun! You may notice something around your neck? Well I wouldn't play with that if I were you, it's rigged to explode in 6 days kuhihihihi. If you'd like to keep your head attached to your shoulders, then I have a little task for you. Don't worry, it'll be fun, or at least it will be for me. In your pocket is a little slip of paper that tells you what I want you need to do, don't disappoint me now!"
  10. A quick check of your left side pocket reveals a note with a short message scrawled in green crayon, "Murderer: you must kill at least 2 players"
  11. Checking your other pockets, you find 4 small gold coloured tokens, a stout stick, and some x-ray goggles.
  12. Still dazed from this odd situation, you hear a click, and the door opens, revealing a larger room. It's reminds you of a hotel lobby that's seen better days. You step through the door.
  13. You are currently unharmed, with a default combat rating of 3.
  14. You are currently carrying:
  15. 4 tokens: the player who has completed their secret objective and has the most of these wins the game.
  16. X-ray goggles: you can see what one player is carrying
  17. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating (can be used in 2 fights)

  21. Falafel:
  22. So it looks like Bobemmo is after both our heads. I'm not really one for violence, but at the very least we should have each other's backs in case she starts roping others into that craziness of hers.
  23. What do you say, friend?
  24.
  25. Checklad:
  26. A-a-a-alright, ok! J-just, how do you k-k-know?
  27.
  28. Falafel:
  29. Mmm? Know what?
  30.
  31. Checklad:
  32. I-I-If he actually means what he s-s-s-says, why am I saying that? He's so s-s-s-scary~
  33.
  34. Falafel:
  35. He's just totally lost it. I've got no idea what he wants from us, but so long as we've got each other's backs we don't have to worry too much.
  36. Just watch your back around him and try to see what he's up to so we don't get ambushed or anything.
  37.
  38. Subject: A-a-a-alliance?
  39.
  40. Checklad:
  41. C-could you help protect me from Bobemmo, he's so scary! I-I-I can give you one of these things I found in my pocket (token) and I'll help you too!
  42.
  43. Insanity:
  44. Yes, let's do that. Me and some others (not Bobemmo, at least that I know of) are going to the Servant's Quarters. Would you like to come with us?
  45. I'll gladly take the token in exchange for an alliance between us.
  46.
  47. Checklad:
  48. I-I-I'll think about it, but p-people scare m-me. I'll do my b-b-best!
  49. I-It's good to have a f-f-fr-friend..
  50.
  51. Insanity:
  52. Alright! You can let me know what you decide, if you want (: But know that you're my ally, so if anything should happen I will fight for you!
  53.

  56. Checklad:
  57. Y-you were so kind to me, c-c-c-c-could you protect me from the scary man named Bobemmo? I-I-I'll help you as well! L-Like an alliance! I-I have nothing of value right now, b-b-b-but if I find something today I'll give it to you!

  60. Aspiration:
  61. Sorry kid, it's a bit too late for that right now. Our 'organizer' has made sure that everyone's safe enough, at least for tonight, so I'll see you tomorrow. I'm off to find some booze. Nobody can have a whole house without a little happy juice.

  65. Checklad:
  66. Time to ask you some questions.
  67. Is it possible to find things in the main room?
  68. Is it possible to hide all tokens?
  69.
  70. Advocate:
  71. Well you can spend your day trying, I can't guarantee much success.
  72. You can leave all your tokens locked away in the common area so that they can't be taken from you if you lose a fight, but then your tokens are vulnerable to anyone with a lockpick that stays behind
  73.
  74. Checklad:
  75. I would like to not use my wooden stick should I be attacked/attack today, and consider insanityissexy, falafel_eater and aspiration my allies. Bobemmo is an enemy, but I refuse to attack if given the chance today and he doesn't attack me.
  76.
  77. Advocate:
  78. Ooo, lots of alliances forming behind the scenes. Even to go so far as to giving insanity a token?
  79. This is going to be a fun day.
  80.
  81. Checklad:
  82. should I be worried?
  83.
  84. Advocate:
  85. Why would you be worried? Do you think my idea of fun is something to be scared of? Muahahaha.
  86.
  87. You stash a couple of tokens in the closet like room you awoke in, then lock the door. You hope they'll be safe there.
  88. With a loud clang, the door that provides access to the rest of the mansion swings open. You exchange glances with the other players, and after a few moments of hesitation, you see insanityissexy and falafel_eater take the lead. Just as he reaches the threshold a loud burst of static announces the return of your captor, "stop" you hear the metalic voice shriek. "One of you has not been listening to me!" A scream erupts from behind you, you turn around to see Lishy convulsing on the floor, frantically grasping at his collar. "I told you to publicly introduce yourselves, I can't stand rude guests. Let this serve as a lesson to you all." With that, the speaker shuts off and Lishy's shudders come to a stop. With unsteady limbs, he rises to his feet, he's clearly hurt but not severely so. Not wanting to be associated with the troublemaker, you turn around and head through the doorway.
  89. Once your eyes adjust to the low lighting, you see that you've been lead into a rather grimy corridor that splits into several routes. Fortunately there are signs, 3 of which are lit by a flickering bulb. "Pantry," "Kitchen," and "Servant Quarters" are written on them.
  90. You head on down the corridor marked "Pantry," eventually coming upon a door that's slightly ajar. Someone else has gotten here first. You open the door and are confronted with an incredible stack of boxed crackers and cheese wheels. What kind of food selection is this? Before you can start examining the stacks for anything useful, Bobemmo step out of the shadows and growl, "back off, this room is mine." You aren't going to let him have this room to himself, so you stand your ground. He leaps at you and you both fall to the floor, rolling into a rack of wine bottles. He gets to his feet first, at which point aspiration comes into the room and rushes to your aid. Bobemmo grins, grabs a wine bottle and holds it with a menacing gleam in his eyes. You stand alongside aspiration, but neither of you are eager to take the fight further, so you maintain a stalemate until ctom steps in. Before ctom can fully grasp the situation, Bobemmo throws a bottle at him, narrowly missing him as he dives to the floor. He moves forward to finish ctom off but aspiration steps blocks his path. Realising how outnumbered he is, he curses and backs down, returning to a search for items in his end of the room.
  91. After thanking aspiration for his help, you begin ripping cheese wheels apart. After a few hours you've found a measly token and a stout stick that should serve as a club if Bobemmo tries something again.
  92. Before heading back to the common room you make sure to eat your fill of crackers and cheese. At least you won't go to bed hungry tonight.
  93. You are currently unharmed, with a default combat rating of 3.
  94. You are currently carrying:
  95. 4 tokens: the player who has completed their secret objective and has the most of these wins the game.

  103. FinalNwo:
  104. Hey, psst, come over here.
  105. Thanks again for your help. I didn't want anyone to know, but I'd like to have an alliance with you for the time being. Since Bobemmo is a really dangerous fellow, you should watch out. I don't think you can defend yourself when the time comes, so I offer you my assistance in this matter. By the way, I have a weapon and can fight at full power, now that I have eaten. So, what do you think?
  106.
  107. Checklad:
  108. O-Ok, I-I'm weak that g-g-g-g-glad for any help I can have.
  109. Y-You actually have a weapon, w-w-wow wow! All I get ar-are these yellow thingies (tokens)...
  110.
  111. FinalNwo:
  112. Hm, this is interesting. I don't know what these things are, but look out for them. They might actually be the most important thing here... Don't let anyone have them, not even show them to anyone! Not even me, understand?
  113.
  114. Checklad:
  115. o-o-oh, but I-I already lost o-o-one!
  116.
  117. FinalNwo:
  118. Do you know to whom? If I get the chance, I might get it back for you.
  119.
  120. Checklad:
  121. I-I-I don't kn-know, it-it's not like a thief le-lea-leaves a letter be-behind say-saying: 'I'm taking one of your thing-thing-thingies, thanks, sign-signed, yours truly'. B-But I did see Cornetto_Man st-st-staring at me a-afa-after I we-went ba-back in my roo-room!
  122.
  123. FinalNwo:
  124. I see, I'm gonna have an eye out for him. Thanks for the information.

  143. I don't trust you, but I helped you out. At least tell me where Falafel wanted you to go. If I'm satisfied with the answer, I'll return the favor with some info of my own. Fair?

  152. Subject: Tonight
  153.
  154. Insanity:
  155. Hey there. Are you hanging in there?
  156. So are you joining me, falafel_eater, and possibly some others tonight? That's great! We'll do our best to protect you from anything that might happen. We won't let anything like last night happen again.
  157. Could you do the same for us? I know you might think that you won't be able to do much if something, but everyone can be useful, including you.
  158.
  159. Checklad:
  160. N-not really no, I-I'm the exact op-op-op-opo-op-opposite of hanging in there.
  161. Of-ofcourse I'd love to join yo-you guys! You-You guys are fr-fr-fr-friends, I don't wanna be a-alone....
  162.
  163. Insanity:
  164. Try to calm down a little bit and think about stuff you like. What do you like?
  165. We'll let you know where to go as soon as we decided, okay? You'll be fine.
  166.
  167. Insanity:
  168. By the way; I'm sure it's hard for you to trust anybody in a place like this, but let me ask you about your objective. You need to get your collar off to survive this place, after all.
  169. Is your objective something we could help you with? We'd be glad to do so. I won't tell anyone about your objective, even if it's something terrible. And if your objective needs you to hurt people, we could work together to find a different way to get your collar off without hurting anyone. Really.
  170. You don't need to tell me anything, of course, but I'd like for as many people as possible to survive this place.
  171.
  172. Checklad:
  173. N-no I tru-trust you. My objective is-is quite odd. I-it simply states: 'survive & try to get 8 to-tokens. This isn't so bad, bu-but several people have already announced their in-intention to kill me. Th-the announcer said that so-somebody has the ob-objective to kill me specifically! Sc-scary!
  174.
  175. Insanity:
  176. Huh, okay. Then you probably shoudln't have given that token to me... Did you give any tokens to anyone else?
  177. Well, at least me and falafel will try our hardest to protect you!
  178.
  179. A-A-All-Alliance?
  180.
  181. Checklad:
  182. H-Hello, we didn't talk much, but c-could we like wa-watch each other's backs? I-I'm weak a-and don't have an-any-any weap-weapons (sadness), I d-do have a lot of these yellow thingies (tokens) and I-I'm willing to give you one if you ag-agree that we loo-look out for o-ne another...
  183.
  184. Cornetto:
  185. "Very well, in exchange for one token, I will count you among my allies in the next round. I believe that surviving is priority number one here. Something others appear to have forgotten."
  186.
  187. Checklad:
  188. "Th-thank you, wa-wait: what do-do you me-me-me-me-me-me-me-me-mean in the next round? Do-do you mean 'for now', 'not today b-but tomorrow and onwards', 'on-only the 'event'' or so-so-someth-thing different enti-enti-entirely?

  191. Cornetto:
  192. "It means exactly what it says. I will ally with you for now. How long the alliance lasts depends. This game is constantly changing and so am I. Don't worry though. If all goes well we'll stay allies for a long time. Well then, I'll see you in there."
  193.
  194. Subject: Day 2
  195.
  196. FinalNwo:
  197. Boy, have you heard of the incident in the servant quarters? There was someone with a mask, who seems to be allied with Snsanity, since he ignored her. Better watch out with her.
  198. I think it's ctom42, but I'm not sure about that. I will investigate this matter. Take care.
  199.
  200. Checklad:
  201. s-s-s-som-somebody with a mask?
  202. Pe-people can wear masks?
  203. So-sorry I-I ca-can't help you with tha-that, pleas-please keep me-me up to date
  204.
  205. FinalNwo:
  206. Well, of course. Apparently everyone of us received a different item at the beginning. Someone might as well have a mask to disguise himself. However, it's easy to avoid him/her. You just have to be in a group, he will leave you alone, then.
  207.
  208. Subject: Talk
  209.
  210. Advocate:
  211. I was so tempted to tell insanity "don't trust him, he's a murderer" when you gave her the token. Hopefully you live long enough!
  212.
  213. Checklad:
  214.
  215. Let's just say I'm pretty much in the middle of everyone here: trying to pull strings here and there.
  216. You didn't hear anything~
  217.
  218. Checklad:
  219.
  220. I wish to go the laundry room
  221. I wish to not use my weapons today, and refuse to attack my enemies first.
  222. Allies: Finalnwo, insanityissexy, falafel_eater, Cornetto_Man aspiration, ctom24. Enemies: Bobemmo
  223. I give Cornetto_man a token.
  224.
  225. Advocate:
  226. There are a few mighty alliances forming, getting someone isolated enough to kill them could be tough. There are a few items floating around that may prove useful in breaking up the alliance ... muahaha
  227.
  228. Checklad:
  229. ooooh there's more people doing the mass-alliance thing that I'm doing? Interesting~
  230. Also, what about the one guy who's hiding in his room? Shouldn't be time for some, measures?
  231.
  232. Advocate:
  233. You mean Lishy1? The electrocution from his collar seems to have induced a coma, we'll see if he wakes up in time to head out to a room or whether he'll just lie there, dying.
  234.
  235. After such an eventful day, you eagerly head to your room and sigh in relief at hearing the click of the lock as you seal yourself in. With not much entertainment available, you attempt to sleep.
  236. You walk into the common area and rejoin the other players in the common area. You notice that one player is missing, Lishy1. You head on over to his room with a few other players. Unexpectedly, your first knock pushes the door open. He didn't lock it? You cautiously step inside and see Lishy1 lying comatose. You cautiously move forward and check his breathing, it's present but weak. Did the electrocution from his collar yesterday cause more harm than anyone realised? Or perhaps ... someone did something to the food he ate? You can't help but notice the gleam of a token in his fist, but the other players are all present, you can't "investigate" further without causing a disturbance. Agreeing to let him rest, you and your fellow players step back into the common area just as the large mechanical door controlling access to the rest of the mansion swings open with a clang. Another day of "fun" beckons.
  237. Stepping through the doorway reveals the same grimy corridor as yesterday, but there's a small difference, a different set of signs have been lit up, "Garbage disposal," "Cloakroom," and "Laundry room." You head on down the corridor marked "Garbage disposal".
  238. You initially head towards the cloakroom, remembering something about meeting falafel_eater there, but your night blindness kicks in as the corridor becomes darker. Soon you lose track of the signs, wandering down corridors at random. Eventually you come upon an open door with light streaming out. You step inside, momentarily blind from the strong lights. "Is this the cloakroom" you ask aloud.
  239. "No!" comes an angry response, "this room is mine." Your eyes adjust to the light just in time to see Bobemmo lunging for you, but this time you won't be so unprepared! You try to pull out your two sticks and give a scream, but Bobemmo's speed and ferocity gives him the edge. He tackles you to the ground where you can't swing at him.
  240. At this moment Cornetto_Man steps into the room, he grabs hold of Bobemmo and pulls him off you. "Leave him be" he yells.
  241. You get to your feet, facing Bobemmo, he's ready to back down but now you're angry. This fight isn't over until you say it is. You go after him, swinging both clubs and he goes down under a flurry of blows. You inflict serious wounds on him before sanity returns and you step back, panting heavily.
  242. "You may search your section of the room, we just want our fair share" you mumble. With that, you turn and appraise the room. You see a series of rusted relics and washing baskets coated in mould. This room does not look promising, but you'll give it a try. You open up the drum of the first machine and find a token sitting there. Maybe this room isn't so bad after all? You try a second machine and find a second token. You look around you, seeing another 7 machines. Your take a third token from the third machine, letting Cornetto_Man take the other 3 and leaving 1 remaining machine for Bobemmo.
  243. With a satisfied smile on your face, you head back to the common room with Cornetto_Man, leaving Bobemmo on the floor.
  244. You are currently (relatively) unharmed, with a default combat rating of 3.
  245. You are currently carrying:
  246. 6 tokens: the player who has completed their secret objective and has the most of these wins the game.
  247. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating (can be used in 2 fights)
  248. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating. Cracked, it will only survive one more fight.
  249. X-ray goggles: you can see what one player is carrying

  260. That doesn't matter. The important thing is that you are safe.
  261. Tell me exactly what you saw.
  262.
  263. Checklad:
  264. End-ended up with Bobemmo again... He lunged a-at me, I-I de-defended myself and he end-ended up gett-getting hurt mo-more than I di-did! A-Atleast h-h-h-h-he can't ki-ki-ki-ki-kill u-us anymore...
  265.
  266. Falafel:
  267. Calm down, take a breath, and tell me more.
  268. Who was in the room with you, and what did you find? What did you see others find?
  269.
  270. Checklad:
  271. No-Nobody else wa-was in the ro-room that I-I know off.. I-it was dark th-though...
  272. A-After I left Bobemmo to hi-his own de-de-de-dedede-devices I che-checked the laundry machines and only found to-to-tokens: like a rid-ri-rid-ri-rid-ridiculously amount of th-them..
  273.
  274. Falafel:
  275. How many tokens? Did you find anything else?
  276. Did Bobemmo also find tokens?
  277.
  278. Checklad:
  279. I-I l-left be-before h-he wo-woke up o-or did an-anything aga-again...
  280. Pr-pretty sure I-I too-took mo-most i-if not a-all, may-maybe I miss-missed o-one? B-But I to-took mo-most tha-that's for cer-certain, a-about fo-four to-tokens: me-meaning I ha-have fulfilled pa-part of my mi-mission!
  281. Wh-What di-did you fi-find?
  282.
  283. Falafel:
  284. Your mission was to find eight tokens? That seems highly unusual. Maybe you meant to say it was something else? Alliances must be based on trust, you know.
  285.
  286. Checklad:
  287. fi-find ei-eight to-tokens a-and su-survive...
  288. Wh-Why is that hi-highly un-unusual? I-I've ye-yet to fi-find any we-weapons and I-I'm weak and wo-wounded, i-it wo-won't be ea-easy to su-survive be-being easy p-pickings...
  289.
  290. Falafel:
  291. It is unusual because the notes I found appear to be a full list of everybody's objectives. Not only is your own objective not in that list, but everyone is instructed to gather as many tokens as they can, and nobody can win if they do not survive.
  292. So tell me the truth. I have a list to match what you say against, so I will know if you lie. It's fine if your objective is something violent or even murderous. Don't disappoint me; I really do want this alliance to work out happily.

  319. I can even tell you mine and Insanity could tell you hers, so that's halfway there without killing anyone. Isn't that better? You're no killer.

You've noticed, though, that just because people act nice to you doesn't mean they're really on your side, which shows more thought and self-awareness than I would have thought you possible of.
  477. My current situation does seem to suggest that I need some allies. While I am a little surprised that you'd come to me with this sort of proposal, in appreciation for your proactive attitude, I will accept. Yup, alliance with Bobemmo, desperation is slowely getting to me, I can't trust falafel_eater, aspiration and insanityissexy anymore. All three are fishing for information and seem to share it together, and neither me nor my character like that all too much...

  521. Advocate:
  522. Now that the game is lethal, there's a lot of doubt floating around today!
  523. Would you like the use the X-ray goggles on falafel now or as an action during the day? If you wait for the days actions then you'll get a report on what he has as he leaves the common area and when he comes back.
  524.
  525. Checklad:
  526. Well I want to know what he finds
  527.
  528. As the day comes to a close, you settle into bed, anxious about what the new day will bring. Lethality rules rescinded? Are you allies truly your allies or have they just been awaiting this moment? You finally fall into a restless sleep.
  529. You awake after hearing a brief yell from the common area, you swiftly rise, unlock your door and step through. You see aspiration staggering out of Lishy's room. "He's dead" he announces to the room, now filled with the other players. After aspiration has headed to a corner of the room, rooting around for a wine bottle, you step up to Lishy's door and look within. You don't see any obvious signs of foul play, although Lishy's clothes are dishevelled. You turn back to the common room and proceed to get your breakfast, you want to be at full strength today. As you enjoy your breakfast, Insanity comes over and offers you a sweetie, you gladly accept even if it does end out tasting of chalk.
  530. A clang announces the start of another day. The door providing access to the rest of the mansion has reopened.
  531. Ctom is the first out, a man with a mission. You follow the crowd but notice that there are only 8 of you, Bobemmo stands idle, watching you head on. Shaking his head, he turns and heads back to his room.
  532. Once you've entered the corridor, you see another 3 new signs have been lit up, Armoury, Computer archive, and the library. You head towards the computer archive. Both insanity and falafel stand beside you, and you all begin to head towards the Armoury. As you go, you accidentally walk into the back of FinalNwo, you apologise and continue on your way.
  533. The path is long and convoluted, at a particularly dark corner you stumble into a side corridor, unwittingly left behind by your companions. With your night blindness kicking in, you stumble forwards, finally reaching a room with a plaque on the door saying "Library." You step within, seeing a vast collection of novels, a few organised in book cases but most just scattered at random on any free surface. You look closely to any weapons, perhaps you could have an armoury within a library? No, it appears you won't be seeing your companions for a while. No matter, books can't harm you, no Bobemmo to wrestle with, maybe this room isn't so bad?
  534. Just as you begin to feel comfortable, a shadow emerges, you shriek, Bobemmo is coming to kill you this time! Only you thought Bobemmo was taller, and maybe not quite so thin? As the figure just stands there, looking worried, you realise that it's just FinalNwo. You laugh, things are going to be alright. You agree a search plan with FinalNwo, finding a token and a spy camera.
  535. As you are about to leave, FinalNwo calls you over. He's found a diary, apparently belonging to one of the servants here. You sit down and read through it. It begins with idle gossip about the fellow servants, then lists a few pranks that have occurred. As you work through the pages, the prank instances grow, both in frequency and severity. None of the other servants ever claim responsibility, the culprit remains unknown but there is plenty of theorising about who the culprit is. The final entry talks only of their suspicions, but the owner doesn't wish their thoughts to be found amidst the new searches that are taking place in the servant quarters so she leaves it here, with the intention of collecting it later. She never did.
  536. One your way back to the common area you bump into falafel_eater, how convenient! While his attention is elsewhere you slip on the x-ray goggles and see that he's carrying:
  537. 7 tokens: the player who has completed their secret objective and has the most of these wins the game.
  538. Tracker: tells you which room each of the players went to
  539. Bullet proof vest: negates one bullet
  540. Mask: your identity will be hidden when you visit a room
  541. Lockpick: if you remain in the common room for the day, you may steal from from the stash of a player who is absent.
  542. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating. Cracked, only has one more fight in it.
  543.
  544. You are currently unharmed, with a default combat rating of 3.
  545. You are currently carrying:
  546. 7 tokens: the player who has completed their secret objective and has the most of these wins the game.
  547. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating (can be used in 2 fights)
  548. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating. Cracked, it will only survive one more fight.

  556.
  557. Cornetto:
  558. Now now, haven't you ever heard of give and take? You can't just receive, I believe in equivalent exchange. So how about you let me know what happened in your room and I'll tell why I said people would die back then. I do appreciate your help yesterday and I hope we can continue helping each other out but I can't give everything away.
  559. You know what, as a show of good faith I'll start. Many doubts were raised about what happened in the Garbage Disposal room yesterday. Ctom claimed Insanity had an ally attack him. Insanity claimed Ctom attacked her. However Ctom had a bump on his head. Now I can tell you for definite that there were only two people in the Garbage Disposal room yesterday. What you make of that I'll let you decide.

  564.
  565. Cornetto:
  566. Was anything written in said diary? Don't worry, I don't ask for free.
  567. As for why I made that prediction yesterday, I knew of several plots to kill certain people. Betrayal was the name of the game. However things obviously didn't go to plan. Hehehe, which may not be a bad thing...

  572. Seems useless to me, but you seem to know a lot and I think you also went to the server's quarters the first day? Maybe this makes sense to you?
  573.
  574. Cornetto:
  575. "Hmm. Interesting. It may be useless but from experience so far in this hell, nothing is without meaning. As to its meaning I can only speculate. My immediate reaction is that this may be a clue to discovering the identity of our lovely host. Although I may be wrong, it may be from a previous game played like ours. I can't be sure....yet.

  581.
  582. Cornetto:
  583. I don't believe killing will accomplish anything. I am far to busy for something like that. Plus we're allies are we not? I might dare say friends. You have helped me on numerous occasions and we have swapped valuable information.
  584. Alas I don't have much information on that particular group. All I can say is that they've stuck together from the start. And that as I have mentioned before, Insanity might have been a very bad girl. hehehe. I of course am always open for more information.

  592.
  593. Cornetto:
  594. I may have overstepped my bounds when I call her bad. Is anyone in this situation bad for trying to survive? That I cannot answer. What I can say, with some confidence, is that Insanity has not been truthful of events so far. There are discrepancies in all of her stories which the others have missed.....well except maybe for Kowzz. You would do well to give him a wide berth. He is allied with Insanity for sure. On top of that he lets very little go. He is one of the few who I have little to no information on.

  602.
  603. Cornetto:
  604. Hehehe. Another piece of advice on Kowzz. Never list him as an enemy. You can leave him neutral, but just don't no matter what list him as an enemy.
  605.
  606. Checklad:
  607. Pretty have done so much from the beginning, I have no idea what it is he's going on about so I leave him be. But he seems to be allied with insanity, could you verify that for me, if you have the knowledge that is of course..
  608. May I ask again what your thoughts/information are about aspiration: I barely know anything about him. I can offer you 100% certainty in what falafel is carrying at this moment, and the knowledge that I have a spy-camera on me.
  609.
  610. Cornetto:
  611. I can confirm that as of yesterday they were allies. Whether that continues or not is anyone's guess. I have reason to believe that he will do something big today. We'll have to wait and see. Hehehe
  612. I have not had much interaction with Aspiration. We spoke briefly on day one and I got a decent idea of his personality. However I don't have anything concrete on him.
  613. I can tell you something else. Somebody in this game has a gun.
  614.
  615. Checklad:
  616. Tell you what, I'm 95% sure who has the gun, who has the bullets and 100% sure who has the bullet proof vest(!). Care to know?
  617.
  618. Cornetto:
  619. It would certainly be helpful.
  620.
  621. Checklad:
  622. It seems Insanity has the gun
  623. Kowzz apparentely has the bullets, and is allied with Insanity (!)
  624. I know 100% for certain that Falafel has the bullet proof vest.
  625. Note that falafel told me this, well except for the bullet proof vest: I know that because I used an item.
  626. I'd be willing to share even more, if you give me some valuable information in return..
  627.
  628. Cornetto:
  629. In that case, let me tell you why I told you not to make Kowzz an enemy. His secret objective is to have 6 people list him as an enemy on the one day. However he hasn't done anything to warrant that yet. I think he's going to make a big play soon.
  630. This new information complicates things....or perhaps enhances them. Hehehe. Today should be interesting indeed. Have you decided on your plan yet. I believe watching each others backs maybe be beneficial.
  631.
  632. Checklad:
  633. Very much so, also something that might interest you:
  634. Insanity has the most tokens, followed up by Bobemmo and Cornetto_Man.
  635. I truely believe Insanity and falafel dominate this game, and I aim to at least even the playground at the last day.
  636. Would be you interested in joining me to go to the attic? According to a source (that I wish to keep secret), the attic is my best bet: and could very well turn the tables. However, I'm fairly certain falafel, aspiration or insanity will follow me there, I could use the help. As I'm not certain they would want me to stay alive..
  637.
  638. Cornetto:
  639. How interesting. I had planned on visiting the attic anyway. I believe I may find some clues there. This should prove a very entertaining night. I'll see you there. Hehehe.
  640. Bobemmo has the second most tokens eh? He may have stolen them from Lishy.
  641.
  642. Checklad:
  643. Could very well be true
  644. Can I count on you then? Otherwise I'd miss out on whatever it is that is so important in the attic and wait out in the common room...
  645.
  646. Cornetto:
  647. You can. I believe the chance of finding something outweighs the risk. We don't have long left now. I'll see you there.
  648.
  649. Checklad:
  650. Very well, I'll see you there my friend.
  651.
  652. Subject: s-s-sorry
  653.
  654. Checklad:
  655. Seems like you took up my advice to stay behind, that's great because it seems falafel & insanity are annoyed with me about neither of us (easy targets) going to the armoury. But honestly, I could really use a reliable ally. Would you be that ally for me?
  656.
  657. Bobemmo:
  658. I'm certainly in need of some allies, and you've proven yourself, in my mind. I could definitely work with you as an ally.
  659. Is there a particular plan you had in mind? Someone you want dead? A room you want to visit? I would normally have a full plan in mind, but I am still recovering and want to avoid rushing into things too hastily. Your timidness might be of help to me here, so I'll hear what you have to say to give me some ideas of how we can proceed.
  660.
  661. Checklad:
  662. Well I intend to keep you alive, all things considered, you were one of the few people that actually listened to me. Others, not so much.
  663. It's not so much timidness as a combination of timidness and careful planning.
  664. You remember your list? Falafel was on it yes? Turns out she's been sucking information out of me together with someone else for days now, without ever doing something back: I've run out patience and I intend to make sure to put him back in place: killing wouldn't be out of the question. Since falafel & insanity 'apparentely' had a 'falling out', they are no longer allies. So I'm trying to get falafel into the attic with me. Opportunity perhaps? Also trying to get somebody else involved on our side, hope that'll be succesful, just to be sure: it's Finalnwo if you want to know.
  665. If you still don't trust me, here's some more information for you that I found out about falafel:
  666. 7 tokens: the player who has completed their secret objective and has the most of these wins the game. Tracker: tells you which room each of the players went to Bullet proof vest: negates one bullet Mask: your identity will be hidden when you visit a room Lockpick: if you remain in the common room for the day, you may steal from from the stash of a player who is absent. Wooden stick: +1 combat rating. Cracked, only has one more fight in it.
  667. That are quite a lot of tools for somebody who's trying very hard to keep everybody from killing each other, yes?
  668. I also know insanity is carrying a gun, but somebody else has the bullets. It's probably Kowzz, since he's the only person I haven't talked to ever, but I know that he's allied with insanity..
  669. Are you in?
  670.
  671. Bobemmo:
  672. There's no way I would ever want to sit around in this room doing nothing for two days in a row. falafel sure seems to have gathered a lot of items, and it might be in our best interest to work together and get rid of him before he can start using them all.
  673. I also only have a stick as a weapon, so I won't be too much help, but I'll join you in visiting that attic and hope we can finally get something done in this game.
  674.
  675. Subject: Day 4.
  676.
  677. Checklad:
  678. I'm near 100% certain I found the person with the mask! I really want to tell you, but I do need to know what you know about the masked person already to make sure I'm not going to make a mistake at my last train of thought..
  679.
  680. FinalNwo:
  681. I think I already told you, Kowzz was the one with the clown's mask. Tell me what you think, though. I don't mind listening for now.
  682.
  683. Checklad:
  684. Thing is, I'm not sure if the mask can be used multiple times, but it seems falafel_eater is carrying one on him. Also has a lockpick!
  685.
  686. FinalNwo:
  687. I see, so there already are three masked people running around here, if I can trust you on that one... A lockpick, huh? Interesting. Perhaps I should "borrow" it...
  688.
  689. Checklad:
  690. That'd be an idea. I think?
  691. I also know that falafel has a bullet-proof vest and a lot of tokens! Also seems he and insanity had a fall out, you know anything about that?
  692.
  693. FinalNwo:
  694. Yes, and no. I don't really know if I can trust his words, but it seems like Insanity has the gun, while someone else has the bullets for it. falafel or insanity also might have taken my weapon, while I was going to the computer archives.
  695.
  696. FinalNwo:
  697. But like I said, don't trust me on that one. I don't know it myself, it's just something I've been told.
  698.
  699. Checklad:
  700. see, that's the problem. Their stories don't match up, they're trying to kill two birds with one stone I believe:
  701. Falafel: Are you in the alliance? (the alliance between falafel, insanity and apparentely me) Well, the alliance fell apart. (read the reason:) Insanity thinks you and Kowzz tried to ambush her, and now she picked up a gun. (Was never told any of this, never talked to Kowzz, picking up a gun is dangerous but doesn't mention anything about the bullets) For the time being I'm trying to make sure nobody gets shot around here. If you feel like helping out then you can join the alliance. (And guess where I should go?)
  702. You told us so little that we didn't know. (Never asked anything) The only reason I came into the armory last night was that Insanity was convinced you were trying to kill her. (Why? I do not know, I'm trying to collect as many tokens and clearly stated I refused to go to the armoury) The more people we have, the more freedom. If we are strong then we can avoid killing. (Bullshit) If we are weak, sometimes there is no choice. And she has a gun... or more accurately, she has half of a gun. (Ah, details) Her friend has the other half (what friend? How does he know, why didn't he tell me before?), and they are probably putting the two together as we speak.
  703. And should you be worried? Well, she thinks you were trying to murder her (which didn't happen, I wasn't there.) and she'll soon be able to kill anyone she wants. Yes, you should be very worried. (A threat: listen to me, or you're done for.)
  704. Insanity: Help? I don't really need help. (A challenge?) Did /u/falafel_eaterUntrustworthy shit [+95] [+38] say that? Because we had a falling out and are not an alliance anymore. (Why.) That's probably important information for you. (Pretty much since I'm part of the alliance, or so it goes) We went to the armory, but you didn't, by the way. (True, then again I was 'attacking' you regardless) I was attacked by someone and /u/falafel_eaterUntrustworthy shit [+95] [+38] wouldn't let me escape. (Ah, details. Unless that someone had a mask, and it was Kowzz, the stories don't match. Especially since masks are one-time use..) He was actually planning on attacking me himself. (Observation, but how did she escape? Hmm.)
  705.
  706. FinalNwo:
  707.
  708. -Especially since masks are one-time use
  709. Not true. As long as you have it, you can use it any time you like, unless you lose it.
  710. So apparently, the alliance doesn't exist anymore? That's good to see. Insanity was tangled up in her lies already, so it's for the better, if she meets her end sooner rather than later.
  711. Maybe Kowzz wasn't trying to ambush her, but just wanted to create a situation like this, to have a reason for kicking falafel_eater and (maybe) you out of their alliance.
  712.
  713. Checklad:
  714. How you know masks are not one-time use, I'm legitmately interested, because X-ray goggles are one-time only, and that's not very realistic either... Doesn't that mean there's at least two people with masks? Falafel & Kowzz..
  715. Apparentely yes, but I honestly doubt it: their stories may not add up completely, and they even give information away, but it all seems too convenient: not to mention the fact that I always was the third-wheel until now.
  716. Trying to get either Insanity or Falafel into the attic: if I pay you two tokens and tell you that I have a spy-tracker, would you be willing to join me and another ally in taking one of them out, (or two of them, depending on the situation): I've been avoiding them for so long, but I'm getting tired of their play and their domination over all of us.
  717.
  718. FinalNwo:
  719. Well, I actually don't. It just makes more sense. I know that I have one of them, but haven't used it yet (IRL note: The description doesn't say anything like that). You can confirm that, because I was with you yesterday.
  720. What is the spy-tracker doing? And who is your other ally?
  721. Also, I can say one thing, my own tracker thingy said, Insanity has the most tokens, followed up by Bobemmo and Cornetto_Man.
  722.
  723. Checklad:
  724. I asked for verification about the mask:
  725. Masks are fragile, and generally tear after being used for the day. But I'm normally generous with it's use, if you go to a room while wearing a mask and no one is there, then you may be able to take it off without breaking it.
  726. Actually I didn't know you had a mask (I think?), but now I know: but that's even better: go to the attic with the mask on and see what you'll do, I don't mind: just be there.
  727. Spy-tracker, I meant Spy-camera! It allows me to see what happens in a room I wasn't in, if I so desire.
  728. Insanity the most tokens? I'm not suprised, considering her alliances and her being one of the two people that absolutely dominate this game.
  729. My Ally? Let's just say he's a desperate man whose trust I managed to win in the last two days. I'm sorry I can't tell more: I'm still busy keeping falafel and insanity off my back and I want to at least keep some kind of edge, even over you, sorry...
  730.
  731. FinalNwo:
  732. Sure, I just thought it would be better if I knew who it was, so I don't accidentally attack him, too. Just let him know that I'm only on Insanity.
  733. I don't know if you had plans with it, but it would be nice, if you could observe the Masters bedroom with it.
  734. I'll do as you say, for today. Two tokens you say? If I receive them, I will go to the attic.
  735.
  736. Checklad:
  737. Well I wasn't sure if you'd consider him your enemy, but considering your statement about Insanity. It's Cornetto, he's also mostly out for information and is wary of Insanity & falafel, just like me. I'll mention it to advocate, no need to worry. I'll not check the bedroom and pay you, it's one or the other.
  738.
  739. FinalNwo:
  740. Oh, I see. Then I'd only like you to either check it yourself, or use the camera thing. If you do that, there's no need to pay me, as long as you tell me what you'll find out.
  741.
  742. FinalNwo:
  743. Oh well, since I already received them, I don't care. I don't have time to wait for an answer. No need to scout the bedroom.
  744.
  745. Checklad:
  746. Guess you will come along then, already gave the tokens to you. But what happens in the bedroom will be a secret unless you offer something in return...
  747.
  748. Subject: Past Alliances
  749.
  750. Falafel:
  751. I know you said you hate being milked for information, but sometimes this can be crucial. Tell me, when you thought you weren't my ally, did you make any alliances with anyone else?
  752. Or maybe I should ask it like this... who do you think wants to hurt you right now?
  753. Bobemmo is obvious, but is there anyone else? I can't protect you if I don't know who the threats are.
  754.
  755. Checklad:
  756. well I'm not sure whether insanity and whomever is allied with her, is coming after me...
  757. There's also aspiration, whom seems to chase after me for some reason.
  758. Pretty much the only people I can trust are you and maybe cornetto and ctom because they at least leave me alone..
  759.
  760. Falafel:
  761. Alright, thank you.
  762. I think Cornetto might be very dangerous. I'm trying to find more information about him. Will you let me know if you hear anything about him?
  763.
  764. Checklad:
  765. I will, don't worry. But I barely know anything about Cornetto, it's like nobody has any idea what he knows or is like: and he seems to want to keep it that way..
  766. Scary...
  767.
  768. Falafel:
  769. Please tell me what you plan on doing for tonight. I am trying to get rid of the gun as safely as possible.
  770. Look out for aspiration if you see him. He is very dangerous.
  771.
  772. Falafel:
  773. Listen, aspiration has the gun and insanity is allied with him. They're going to kill everyone unless we stop them. Everyone is coming together to stop this. Tonight we are one big alliance against the gun.
  774. The two of them seem to be heading into the attic, but I can use a Tracker to find them if they try to get away so make sure you ask me their location. Make sure you stay with FinalNwo. Bobemmo is also on our side tonight; we have a temporary truce.
  775. Don't get lost tonight -- if Insanity finds you, she will shoot you dead.
  776.
  777. Subject: Still Alive?
  778.
  779. Aspiration:
  780. You're either incredibly clever or incredibly lucky. I'm more inclined to believe the former.
  781. Tell me, do you still believe Bobemmo is your only threat?
  782.
  783. Checklad:
  784. Is this a threat? You certainly seem like you would like to get rid of me.
  785. Why? What did I ever do to you? I already have my hands full trying to keep Bobemmo at bay and my allies from killing one another..
  786. Why does everybody want to kill, threaten, lie and deciet. All I want is to live.
  787.
  788. Aspiration:
  789. No threat. Only a question.
  790. Your allies certainly are a naughty bunch, that much is true. But you are wrong about one thing. I do not lie, everybody else may and that will be their undoing, but I myself deal in truth alone.
  791.
  792. Checklad:
  793. But what is your question?
  794. For somebody who's so sure in what he says, you seem a bit unreliable at times: which makes me sad, I thought I could rely on you, hang on to you and protect you as well. You refused and I had to make the best as the third wheel for falafel and insanity, for all the 'good' that did me...
  795. Besides, you never answered my questions from yesterday: it certainly doesn't make me more inclined to answer.
  796. So tell me, what truths do you have.
  797. What is your question.
  798.
  799. Aspiration:
  800. You meant how did I know you were lying? I trade in information, so it's not unnatural I knew the truth behind the events of the laundry room.
  801. I refused due to having other business to attend to, don't take it personally. You would've only proved to be a liability.
  802. My question to you was simple. Who do you think your enemies are?
  803.
  804. Checklad:
  805. Seems like you're eager to get rid of me, so I suppose you are, despite this I never intended to be your enemy but you're pushing me in a corner here for no reason other than doing it for the hell of it.
  806. Bobemmo still is, there's no helping that case..
  807. Other than that, why should I answer. It's not like I gain anything from telling you. All you want is information and give nothing back, that's not how it goes: even I know that much by now...
  808.
  809. Aspiration:
  810. You're clearly misunderstanding my actions. I was trying to help you (to my benefit as well) by identifying who you fear and who is actually trying to kill you. But if you want, we'll leave this as is.
  811.
  812. Checklad:
  813. Well I could use all the help I can get to be honest, this situation is getting scary and I need an ally: one whom actually helps me..
  814. Let me tell you that the way you ask your questions does make me anxious to answer, considering that I barely know anything about you: that much you probably know as well. So I thought you were targetting me.
  815. Tell you what, if you come with me and help me and FinalNwo in uncovering one last puzzle piece, both through protection and certain (oddly specific) information: I'll give you two of my tokens and the knowledge that I have a spy camera (and the information that I'll find with it), as well as the information you actually want to know:
  816. Whom I fear: Everybody T_T, including the Advocate, except for Cornetto because he's not hostile to me...
  817. Probably trying to kill me now: Falafel, Insanity (which would mean Kowzz as well)
  818. Absolutely trying to kill me: Bobemmo (which so far failed, thankfully)

  823. Is it possible to kill people in the main room?
  824.
  825. Advocate:
  826. At the moment the common room is a safe space, no killing allowed, however that may very soon ... kuhihihihi
  827.
  828. Checklad:
  829. Haha, seems aspiration has it out for me..
  830. - You're either incredibly clever or incredibly lucky. I'm more inclined to believe the former.
  831. Boy oh boy.
  832. - Tell me, do you still believe Bobemmo is your only threat?
  833. Dayum.
  834.
  835. Advocate:
  836. Wow, I wouldn't have expected any of the players to be so open in their threats, the game is heating up ;)
  837.
  838. Checklad:
  839. Yeah maybe you like it, but I'm seriously doubting what the heck I'm actually doing.
  840.
  841. Checklad:
  842. Could you also verify something for me: are masks one-time use only?
  843.
  844. Advocate:
  845. Masks are fragile, and generally tear after being used for the day. But I'm normally generous with it's use, if you go to a room while wearing a mask and no one is there, then you may be able to take it off without breaking it.
  846.
  847. Checklad:
  848. All right time for instructions:
  849. I wish to use the spytracker in the Master Bedroom
  850. I wish to use both sticks should I enter combat
  851. Allies: Cornetto_Man, FinalNwo, ctom24, Bobemmo Enemies: falafel_eater, insanityissexy, any masked person, aspiration Neutral: Kowzz
  852. I wish to go to the attic
  853. I pay two tokens to Finalnwo.
  854. Should I be in the room without any of the three enemies and am in a room with Bobemmo: regardless whom else is in there, I wish to try and kill him. Should I be in the room with only one other person, I wish to kill him. Should I be in the room with a masked person, I wish to kill him. Should Insanity be in the same room, I wish to immediately attack her, to minimize the risk of her gun.
  855. Intrigue! Plots! Schemes!
  856. I rule them all!
  857.
  858. Advocate:
  859. Ooo, exciting, I expect we'll have a player death tonight
  860.
  861. Checklad:
  862. God I hope so, but it's bloody tough because of my limited means..
  863.
  864. Advocate:
  865. It's going to be a long write up.
  866.
  867. Checklad:
  868. Should I be worried?
  869.
  870. Advocate:
  871. Maybe.
  872.
  873. Day 4 Events
  874. Another day in hell. You feel like the tension is oozing out of the walls. Everyone is on edge while you eat that evening. You're grateful for the chance to lock yourself away for the night, hearing the reassuring click as you turn the inner door latch.
  875. After hearing that dreaded clang of the main door these past three days, you've become sensitive to its sound, which is why it wakes you up despite being muffled by your closed bedroom door. You're heart races as you rush to the door, surely it's still too early?! Before you turn the latch and investigate you hear something new, kuhihihi, a gurgling laugh that chills you to the bone. Rather than unlocking your door you double check that it's locked, holding the latch firmly against any attempt to unlock it. Footsteps approach your door ... tap … tap … tap ... but they move on. You hear the creak of a bedroom door opening, a grunt, a few curses, and the tap, tap, tap returns, slower than before. Joining it is a swish, as if something were being dragged. The footsteps slowly fade and another muffled clang echoes into the night. You return to bed, trying to deny the implications of what you heard.
  876. In the morning you enter the common room and see a series of haggard faces, you don't think anyone slept well last night. Looking around, you notice Lishy's door is open. You don't investigate, you already know what you'd find there, or rather, what you wouldn't find.
  877. The familiar clang announces the start of another day.
  878. You make sure you're the first through, eagerly heading into the darkness.
  879. You make it to the master bedroom, opening the door just a crack and placing the camera amidst some clothing next to the door.
  880. You dash onwards to the attic. You see the door is already open a foul smell coming from it, mildew. You step in expecting to see mounds of dust and old boxes, but instead you see shiny cabling criss-crossing the floor. A lot of it. There must be several cables leading to every room in the house!
  881. But before examining that, you see Kowzz and Cornetto_Man standing in front of you. You smile at Cornetto_Man, no danger there, but then you notice a third figure, a demon! "D-d-d-demon!" You scream. In an instant you pull out both sticks and charge, striking a mighty blow before the figure can respond. Cornetto_Man and Kowzz stand transfixed, unsure whether to intervene as you pounds away. As you does so, the see that the demon is actually just a man with a mask, and the mask has been torn away revealing the bloodied face of Aspiration. Upon seeing who the figure is, Kowzz jumps into action, restraining you. Slowly, your breathing becomes more regular before two more figures step in. Bobemmo and another masked man. You scream again to cries of "monster" and redoubles his efforts to break free of Kowzz. You see the masked figure appraise the room then head over the Aspiration, offering him a hand. "Thanks, friend" says Aspiration as he accepts the help up.
  882. The figure looks over to you and whispers, "no, Checklad is correct." He brings up his other hand, burying a switchknife into Aspiration's belly. Aspiration looks up in shock, blood gushing out as he collapses back to the ground. The figure wipes his switchblade and steps back, his work done.
  883. Kowzz, still in shock, releases his hold on you and you immediately rush the masked man, snapping one of your sticks upon the back of his head. The masked man falls, his mask slipping revealing FinalNwo. You stops, "FinalNwo?" You drops to the floor and apologise. FinalNwo pushes you off, "some ally you are," he mutters as he regains his feet.
  884. By now, Kowzz has regained his senses, he pulls out his sword, "you'll pay for that!" He yells and charges FinalNwo, slashing him across the chest. Everyone stands still, awaiting FinalNwo's anguished cries, but it never comes. There's no blood on the sword. His slashes shirt opens to reveal a stab-proof vest. Before Kowzz can resume the attack FinalNwo turns and runs out the door. You yell his name and run after him, still apologising. You forget to retrieve the spy camera.
