>The cold winter winds blew outside the dark confines of Miss Eri's house
>The gray mare stayed bundled up with her blanket as she shivered inside her cold house
>Anon was out in Canterlot for business, so she was all alone for the weekend
>Eri had considered trying to make hot cocoa, but the last time she did, she had burned her lips and spilled it on the coffee table
>She didn't speak to Anon out of shame for a whole three days, despite him reassuring that it was fine
>She threw off her blanket and went to her bedroom to collect some clothes
>Whenever she would doubt herself, or she was feeling depressed, she would turn to her friends
>Her best friend, Connie, was off performing somewhere in Canterlot
>She wrapped her red and black striped scarf around her neck as she thought of who else would be in Ponyville
>Paper and Mellow were probably off together, probably cuddling in front of a fire
>Addie was always hard to talk to, and she usually wants to be left alone
>She sighed as she slipped on snowboots and a red beanie as she looked to the stairs leading to the second floor to her home
>The only one who was available was Deep Rest, if she wasn't working tonight
>Not that she was bad or anything, Eri thought very highly of Rest
>She was often the one who she'd go to for advice and comfort whenever Connie wasn't around
>Eri often looked up to Rest as the sister she never had
>The gray mare sighed and opened the door to the cold winter night, and locked the door behind her before she set out to visit Rest


>The chilly weather had Eri shivering as she continued on her way to Rest's house
>She was already regretting coming outside
>But she made a vow with Anon to go to her friends when she's feeling down, and to never go back to...that
>It was hard, as she wasn't used to talking to her friends much, but she appreciated Anon's effort
>Even if he wasn't always here to comfort her
>Eri held back a tear as she thought of Anon again
