Chapter 18

Chapter 18. Dark Fate.
Sonne and Toast.. Ild and Luna, the four of them watched the sphere come in closer with the flying station. And finally.. The sphere moved closer, in proximity as it would begin taking a quick, orbital path, circulating the station, and.. Had one seen much of it from the outside, exerting energy occasionally. And then.. After a few cycles, the plates begun moving. They lifted off and begun moving towards the Energy Launcher System (a.k.a The giant mecha on top of the station) , placing themselves above it, coating it in armor... It had so begun.. Phase Three. Dr.Sonnemuz clasped his fingers, as he smiled. Again.. He felt no real need to smile, but he knew he had to. In his presence were Batias and Nealon, his last two elite mooks , and they needed some sort of moral boost.. For otherwise.. Well, let us just say they wouldn't be so willing to win. And then.. He turned around, stating his orders.
"Nealon.. The remaining four , will need to be kept off from intervening. That means, your purpose is not to kill three if one of them can get past you. Your purpose, is to stop them from moving, until Phase Three is complete. Batias.. You hold the same duty. I shall request no technical help from you two, with Phase Three.. "
"Wouldn't Phase Three need someone to guide the Energy Launcher System and more importantly, to perform the new mental link?"-Nealon asked.
"I, shall use my electrical currents to make the link"-Dr.Sonnemuz stated, as he turned around , sending the two out. Eventually.. The clash would happen. Nealon descended in her wings of light, and so did Batias.. Jumping down towards the group would be a more fit description of the act. And so.. The battle had begun. Ild and Luna would of course, be facing Batias. They had more.. Experiences with the latter. And Toast and Sonne, were to fight Nealon. It had now begun... Batias changed to his demonic form and prepared to attack. Ild, went off to Hyper Combat, and slash several times. Luna did the same with her flames. They were.. Apparently very hot, damaging.. Consuming. Yet Batias could only laugh at it..
"Your flames.. Are nothing like hers"-he said. And then, he would go on, and launch several punches , charged with the red aura he utilizes for his transformation. Luna.. Luna would bother and defend from the attack , using her own flames as a shield, and then, being punched several times, she would fly upwards, and place both of her hands with the palms, a bit closed and in separate directions.. And form a sphere of flames, which she released Kamehameha style, forming into one large fireball and then.. Explode. Batias, damaged, hurt.. Would only laugh again, and then make a roar, which formed a massive beam of red energy. In this whole while.. He had endured the slashes from Ild and attacks from him in Hyper Combat mode.. And his target was Luna.. For the moment, was she to be defeated, he could focus on Ild later.. And there.. He had taken a few more dozen slashes before Ild went out of his Hyper Combat.
"What? How the heck... Is he doing this?"-Ild asked surprised, as he witnessed Luna being blasted away by the roar of power. He was.. In a pinch would be the proper way to put it. Summoning the axe, Batias swung it at all of his might, and Ild.. Out of Hyper Combat, got hit. Yes.. The duo was now currently off. And.. In all honesty, Toast and Sonnemuz weren't doing so well either. Facing off against Nealon, Toast and Sonne split , attempting to make a combined assault at her. Little did they know of her light walls, repelling them with ease, and  then the beams of energy, hurting them, and immobilizing them with ease, since their first charge. And so... Standing up, ready once more, the duo attacked again. Sonne fired his gun, releasing one blast, and another.. And a third. Toast charged his body with awesomeness as he jumped up, releasing a kick of energy, and it produced a straight beam, going for Nealon.. Yet.. The wall of light defended her again.
"Your attempts are futile. Wait with patience for your doom"-she said. Her voice cold, emotionless..
"DOOM MY ASS.."-Toast yelled, as he launched a few more kicks. The light wall defended Nealon well.. Sonne attempted to fire of his attack, but.. Nealon got tired. She gathered the light around her body, spreading it out and releasing it. In the shape of very small spheres , which exploded, as soon as the first one of them hit the ground. Toast and Sonne, caught in the explosion were now badly wounded as well. It all seemed to be.. To be done.
How the.. How did this come to such time and place? Sonne couldn't help but wonder, how had their defeat been handed so quickly. Instant, immediate. Could
 he accept this? Could he?
NO. He had to say no. He had to reject fate.. Go against those that are chosen, and bring down all the reason behind plot. That.. That is how he was going to do it. Charging himself with awesomeness, he jumped in his feet, letting out a massive yell, and emerging forward in a flash of light. His kicks and lunched, were ineffective against her wall of light, but in a few moments.. The wall shattered, as Nealon had gotten a pretty bad punch. And so.. Toast, gathering his energy, stood up. It was time, to reveal his true power.

Toast and Sonnemuz were now ready. Nealon's light wall was shattered now.. And so then.. The true powers were to be released. Nealon released her glass blade, and Asuran Arms: Dark Fate. Her hair went completely white in the process, as her clothing shifted to black, the glass blade was now completely covered in light. With that, the battle between these forces had begun. Nealon waited there, as Teds and Sonne were preparing their assault. Starting with a few explosions, which wrre absorbed and redirected with ease, the awesomeness infused blows, which were also shielded against.. It seemed Dark Fate had no more opportunity to breach like with the usual Nealon. She could not wait forever. Forming the seals, the random beams of light and darkness emerged from them, as Toast got hit, by a dark one and got hammered down the ground. Sonne got caught by two , one light and one dark, and he too was wounded badly. What was to be done? Not much.. Sonne and Toast retreated , but.. Nealon had started her second offensive phase. From the ground, begun emerging, the same skeletons she had used against Dyonissius, as they released from their mouths and eyes.. the black mist.. Sonne was having a difficult time to retaliate, down and wounded.. but however.. he had to. he had to respond to this threat. Standing up, he gathered all of his strength. It was amazing what force of will he had. Nealon had to ask him.. how did this even become possible.
"How do you.. how do you do this?"
"Do what? Standing back up, after being beaten down? Well.. you know.. that is because unlike you, we fight for something great. We fight for freedom... for peace and the future. You will never understand, our power, but perhaps you can see it instead.. AWESOMENESS GIGA BLAST!"-he shouted, as his gun, the bazzoka like one grew larger, and the skeletons came in. From behind, rose the greatest of them all, the three faces, six handed skeleton , as the army was about to attack. Sonne fired over one of the skeleton's torso, and as he fell, jumped atop the skull. and then killing one more, the body falling over it.. in little time, he had managed to go auite high, and begun gunning down more of them. And then it came, the great skeleton , charging in with the masses of undead, as Sonne fired, more and more were surrounding him.. he had no choice. Channeling awesimeness through his gun, it proceeded to split in two, as he held the two new guns and shout
"AWESOMENESS SURGE TERA FIRE STORM "-the attack was called out loud, and its name was five words including tera, fire and storm... The enemies were officially fucked. Sonne proceeded to fire his guns blasting off many of the foes. It seemed to be going fairly well for him, jumping above, and releasing all the gunfire, making patterns of holes in the body of the gigantic skeleton, and so in the bodies of the other ones, surrounding him. Nealon would counterattack at the moment, charging her glass blade with light and moving forward, but she herself had met upon a sturdy wall. Teds.T.Toast had come, and his awesomeness cloak was on. Not bothering much with introductions and whatnot, he charged in, with a flurry of fists, repedately punching the light wall, but to no avail. It would just NOT go down. And out there, Sonne was dealing massive damage to the skeletons, having ended most of them, as he charged on. Firing off his bullets, he crossed the guns as the helical pattern of the stream of bullets made its way for the light wall. Nealon had been hit once more, but this time.. She disappeared, appearing only flying above them, wings of light on her back as  many seals were summoned, and from them released the beams of light. Sonne and Toast were once more badly damaged, but when the debris cleared, there was but one of them standing. Sonne had exerted his energy and needed a rest. The light wall broken, Toast would engage Nealon to direct combat.. The true battle was about to begin.
