Elves live within the forests, on mountains, and have regular established cities in their lands.
There are no “surnames”, the surnames are earned on their own, although a child takes up their parents clan name until they are old enough to make their own.
They still live for a thousand years or more, and pregnancy takes about 2 years.
Elves are considered adults around 100, and mature regularly as humans do physically, although they retain their youth farther into aging than humans do. There are a few different races of elves: from Drow (stereotypically Evil, although there are very few “good” ones), Mountain elves (paler, colder skin), Wood Elves (darker, earthier skintones), High Elves, Sun and Moon elves (warmer, brighter and more cool tones and dark, respectively).
The Drow live underground and in the mountainous areas. The wood elves primarily live in the wood forests, but can be found anywhere, alongside High, Sun, and Moon elves.
Elves as a whole are still very cautious to outsiders, excluding the Dwarves, who they are allied with. The Drow are aggressive, regardless of race. Some elves can be seen outside of their cities and towns, traveling to other lands for adventure or for a different life. They are not always met with kindness- racial slurs such as “knife ear” are always thrown around, and stereotypes as thieves or weirdos, who look out for themselves.

Detailed Physical Description: Nilu’s skin is light and fair, although with a blueish tint to it. She has the white engravings of the moon goddess on her forehead and from her lip down to her chin, also some scarring on her upper lip and around her mouth
	Nilu’s hair is a blue-teal shade that almost shimmers in the light, thick and usually braided or pulled back when working/fighting/adventuring. She occasionally lets it down to relax- and always has a few pieces of fringe loose.
	Her eyes are a purple color with flecks of gold, and they shift to a grey/white when using magic or when initiating in any rituals to Selûne, and on the full moon.
When the moon is full, she glows as it does: physically and emotionally.
Typical Clothing/Equipment: Almost always prepared for anything. Always a dagger on hand or nearby. Enjoys a robe/dress/tunic that is cut at the hips, revealing them, that then cascade and fall around her, with dark grey pants and dark brown embroidered boots. When it’s cold, she wears a deep wine colored cloak. She usually has a belt with a pouch and the dagger attached on the other side to it. There is a bell that was given to her from her mother that she either wears in her hair, or as a necklace.
	Battle/Adventure: Nilu likes to remain fashionable. She still retains a version her cleavage cut tunic, although with breastplate, shoulders, and forearm armor equipped. She has a tail from her tunic that falls behind her.

Personality/Attributes

Personality/Attitude: Nilu is bright and devoted. She is headstrong, fierce, and is not afraid to take initiative.
However, to outsiders, she is cold, emotionless, brutal and almost.. Dismissive. Although she will still do what is right. She holds her tongue, although will be extremely snappy and sarcastic if need be. She may or may not warm up to them, albeit very slowly.
A bit more warmer towards Elves, although not fully trusting either.
